What did I just do? I messed up didnt I? I'm so sorry Rex I totally regret kissing you that was a mistake. I went to far....I wish I could take that kiss back and make everything right. But I cant. We could've been good friends at least but now you probably hate me...I'm so stupid. Rex! Come back please! Max was in full blown tears crying his little heart out with no one to hold him to care for him all alone.
Rex stopped running and started walking. He was panting, tried, out of breath he was thinking about what just happened at Max's house he was cofused trying to figure an answer. Max...Why? I dont understand. That kiss....it was amazing. But it was wrong it goes against my belifs. That kiss was wrong. Yea it was haaa yea........No it was good! I cant deny it i just cant god I dont know what to do. I'm so confused! Rex arrived at his house it was a good thing because the bright blue sky was engulfed by grey black skies and it started to rain heavily. He went in and noticed that no one was home. He quickly ran to his room and shut the door behind him and jumped into his bed with his pillow to his head crying into to it. He couldnt talk to his parents they wouldnt understand they would most likely kick him out if they found out about it. He didnt have any friends at his old school he was to shy and isolated himself. He couldnt talk to Max because he was the problem. He layed there in the dark. The house was dead silent he could only here the thoughts going through his head and the rain outside and the thunder.
Max got off the couch he looked back and remebered that Rex was just there. He climed up the stairs very slugishly and made his way to the bathroom. He turned on the light and started to remove his clothes one by one each article of clothing fell to the floor he was naked. Everything was now in view. His nice body, a stunning six pack, big biceps, and a broad chest. He stepped into the tub and turned the knobs and water suddenly rushed out. He felt the water making sure it was just right before he turned the shower on. Water burshed against his fur it was cold he turned the hot water knob more he felt it and was hot that steam was coming out. It was just right. The water stopped and came out of the shower head splashing and covering Max with warmth. In seconds the bathroom was filled with steam. Max was washed away of his sadness and was soon replaced by comfort. Everthing was washed away Max was no longer on earth no he was in his own little world were nothing bad happens and it was nothing but happiness and joy. He soon came back when the water started getting cold. He turned off the water and stood there dripping wet and his soggy fur. He grabbed his towel and was drying himself. Well that felt good to unwined. Well i guess its off to bed....schools going to be a drag tomorrow. I'll talk to him and clear things up. Hopefully we can still be friends.
Rex was still on his bed he looked at his alarm clock it was 8:45p.m. I should go to sleep maybe things will be better. I'll avoid Max and not start anything. Just totally avoid him that going to hard though I only have one class with him it should be easy. Right? Rex yawned he was drowsy he let the sleep claim him. He was out cold. Max on the other hand was having a hard time sleeping. He would tiwst and turn on his bed forcing himself to sleep. He would wake up and check the time every five minutes. It was so fruastrating for him to sleep. He looked outside his window. The storm let up and the night sky was in veiw and he could see the stars light up the sky. He saw many constilations he saw Ursa major, and Ursa minor (Big dipper and little dipper), Hydra, and many other constilations. Then he stared at the moon it was a cresent moon. He took a deep breath and took in the sight of the night sky. He loved the nightsky how the sky was lit and everything else was dark. He tried going to sleep again and believe it or not he fell asleep. Max awoke from the sound of his alarm clock going off it was playing one of his favortie songs Chop Suey by System of a Down. He hit the snooze button and looked at the time 7:15a.m he got up and streched out and gave a big howl and scratch his belly. He when on with his morning ritual and left to school. Rex was already up he was trying to eat his breakfeast and his mom started talking to him.
"Honey why arent you eating your breakfeast. I made your favortie. Chocolate pancake and you havent even touched them. Whats wrong? Remeber I'm your mom you can tell me anything. She kissed her son on the cheek and smiled
"Its nothing mom just moving here thats all." he attempted to smile
"Dont worry things will get better i just know they will. Hey you dont want to be late now go on and catch the bus before it leaves you."
"Bye mom love you."
"I love you to." Rex was out the door and started walking to the bus stop he waited there for a few minutes until he could the buse's loud engine as it approached. The bus door opened he got on and saw the most of the seats in the back were taken by the loud obnoxious jocks. The middle of the bus were filled with the shallow, self-center, superficial popular kids, next row was the dark depsressing teens the goths, followed by the smart, unpopular, unwanted geeks and finally the front seat was me. He drowned out the noises that the buse and the people inside the bus were making. The entire bus ride Rex was looking outside the window thinking of ways to avoid Max. The bus finally arrived at school and Rex got off he walked into the school and headed towards his locker. Before he reached his locker he was up against the wall making sure Max wasnt standing there waiting. But Max was there with a worried anxious look on his face. Rex hated seeing Max like this he wanted to go up to him and talk him but he fought his urges. He looked again Max was gone it was safe he put his locker com in and grabbed his books and headed for math. Rex's favorite subject. The bull rung Rex was late he dashed down the hallway and leaped up the stairs and went though the door he was panting. Everyone was staring. Heblushed bright red and put his hood on and took a seat on the other side of the classroom. Max was shocked that Rex wasnt sitting next to him. Is he avioding me? Really? Why? What the hell!?! Max was getting mad that Rex would even think about avoiding him today. The teacher was writting down math problems on the board it was graphing linear eqautions. Max struggled in Math he hated math he prefered history over math any day. But Rex loved this chapter he zipped right through the problems and handed the paper to the teacher to check. He got every answer right with that the teacher gave Rex the homework assignment for tomorrow. He sat back down when he noticed that there was a note on his desk.
Rex can we talk please! Are you avoiding me? Please lets just talk I'm sorry. =(
Rex quickly crumbled the piece of paper and threw it in the recycling bin. Max was devastated he crossed his arms and put his head down on the desk. Then Rex thought of an idea to avoid Max in the hallways.
"May I go to the bathroom Mr.Long?"
"You may."
Rex grabbed his stuff and walked out the door. He walked down the stairs and went to his locker and grabbed his binder for his next class. Perfect now Max cant talk to me in the hallways....God I feel so bad avoiding Max maybe i should? No. Max was Oblivious to Rex's plan and thought he would be coming back but he didnt the bell rung. He went to his locker. No sign of Rex. Where is he? Wait I know what he's doing know I'm so dumb why didnt I see this before that sneaky little turtle. Ohh dont wory Rex I know what to do now. The classes went on as ususal Rex kept going to the "bathroom" and everything was going into his favor. Until the final class were Max decided that he need to go to the "bathroom". He got dressed in his regular clothes and saw Rex at his locker.
"Rex!" Rex yipped and turned around
"Max what are you doing here?!?"
"Oh you thought your little plan would work. Didnt you?"
"I......thought."
"Please just save it. Listen Rex we need to talk. Okay?"
"Fine make it quick!"
