Stretching himself out, Exile awakened as the sun shone through the front window. He took a look at Hunter, whom he saw was still sleeping and gave a little grin. Secretly, Exile always loved his companion, and not just as a friend, but as more than that. The numerous missions together had led him to love the other quite a bit, though it was a bit hard to admit it. Standing up, he tiptoed over to Hunter and looked down at him with a soft smile.

Hunter tossed softly in his sleep, twitching and slowly opening an eye that just happened to be in Exiles direction. Drowsily he grumbled "What day is it?"

"Sunday, comrade," Exile said with a bit of a chuckle, seeing his partner's fur a little messy.

"And...How many days did we have for this?" Hunter said, still groggy while he tried to sit up. It was nice not to wear that armor they were always wearing. Right now all he was wearing were some pajama pants and a tank top. Human clothes were pretty comfortable.

"Three or four," Exile commented. "I forget."

Hunter looked around a bit, as if he forgot where he was over the night. It was just an apartment, casual and uninteresting. They were in Siberia, Exile had been exited to come back home. Blitz and Colleen were busy getting their wedding in order. How that had happened Hunter would never know.

"Looking a bit lost, are ya, comrade," Exile remarked as he walked over to the window. He looked outside. It was true. Exile was happy to be home again. He'd missed it dearly, and it was made better by the fact he had a close friend with him.

"Heh, it's pretty cold here Exile. You sure you like it here?"

"Da, that I do, comrade." Exile's tail wagged. "It's my home."

"I still don't get how you can stay warm; all you're wearing is one of those human shorts. It barely covers anything on you"

"My fur, comrade," Exile laughed. "Huskies have thick fur for a reason."

Hunter crawled out of his bed, and looked around a bit "...It's been a while huh?"

"Da, a long time."

"Seems like just yesterday I was walking on all fours, catching tennis balls" Hunter said "And now...well, now I'm here, In Siberia."

"It's a nice place... if ya can stand the cold." Exile turned to look back at Hunter. "Thanks for coming with me."

Hunter smiled and shrugged "Well, I didn't have much choice. Blitz and Colleen are too busy, Shag is...well, shag. And Muzzle....is muzzle. I'm the only one left' Hunter paused "But it's not like I don't want to be here" Trying to cover up for sounding like he was forced against his will "It's nice to see places with people you know"

Exile raised a brow and then laughed again. "Da, I agree comrade. Always good to get out once in a while."

Hunter paused, at a loss at what to so "So what was it like?"

"What was what like? Living here? Well, as I said, it always helps to have a good fur coat." Exile looked back out the window. "And, well, it's nice sometimes to sit out in the cool breeze too.

Hunter smiled "When was the last time we really got to know each other Exile?" He stood and padded over to his 'comrade' "I think we should take the day off and just hang out. We never do that"

Exile raised a brow once more. This was actually something he'd hoped for, but wasn't quite prepared with how to respond. "I'd like that," seemed to be all he could say.

Hunter just smiled politely and innocently, unaware of his friends feelings

"Hunter, comrade, can I be honest with you here," Exile shuffled his feet. "I've got something to say but I'm not sure how to say it."

Hunter blinked "Well, if it's important, you can tell me anything" Hunter put his arm around Exile's shoulder "We're comrades right?"

"Suppose I were to tell you... I had a crush on you," Exile said quietly.

Hunter, taking this as a metaphorical example, didn't catch it yet "Yea?"

"Well... if that were the case, would you be... I don't know... repulsed if I asked you on a date?" Exile was still shuffling his feet, still feeling unsure.

Hunter blinked a bit "Well...that's a weird question...I guess...maybe a little...I dunno...but if I was a girl like colleen I probably would have. You're a very nice person Exile"

Hunter scratched the back of his head "Why? Is there someone you like?"

"Da, there is, comrade. You." Exile smiled softly.

Hunter, having to take a few second to process the information that had just been laid down on him, blushed "O-Oh...you were...being serious" Hunter looked away bashfully while his blushed deepened. "Uh...if...you're really asking me...I mean, I don't mind, I guess...I mean it's weird but...you know..."

Exile stepped up to his friend and put his paws on Hunter's shoulders.

"It's okay, comrade. I didn't mean to startle you, but I just... like you... a lot."

Hunter, honestly, didn't know what to say. He didn't even notice when he started giggling softly or the fact that his tail was wagging rapidly.

"Looks like you're happy with this. Da?" Exile queried, seeing the tail.

Hunter blinked in confusion, once more, and looked back at his tail, his blush growing yet deeper as he noticed what it was doing. He looked back at Exile, and could do nothing more than smile sheepishly "...uh...It's still weird"

"Hunter... I'm going to ask you something, and I want you to answer seriously."

Hunter didn't say anything; he just waited for the question

"Can I.... kiss you?" Exile asked hesitantly. "I've secretly always dreamed of kissing you."

Hunter, yet again, did not notice that he let off a set of giggles "Um...." he looked down at his feet, feeling awkward and insecure...but...but why did this new piece of information suddenly make him so happy?....Did he actually want Exile to kiss him? Weird...but, maybe. Who knows, they turned into half human dogs, I guess something like this isn't so unbelievable..."O-Ok"

Exile looked at Hunter cautiously before he took Hunter by the paw. He then leaned in slowly and kissed him on the muzzle directly, closing his eyes as he did, his tail wagging rapidly.

A sweet rush of fuzzy warmth enveloped around Hunter....Exiles lips...they were soft...and warm...Exile was always warm...Before he knew it, his arms wrapped slowly around the other's waist. The poor retrieve melted.

Exile did the same, wrapping his paws around Hunter's waist. This was it. He was in love, and he knew it for sure now. The kiss confirmed that. He opened his eyes as he looked at his companion turned lover. As he broke the kiss, he looked into Hunter's eyes and smiled. "I love you."

Hunter opened his muzzle...but he couldn't say it...not yet...he was so confused "Exile...I can't...say that...I'm...I don't know...yet" he paused "...Let's go on a date then..." he tried to smile that same polite cheery smile to wash away the worried and confused frown, it worked...pretty easily "I've never been on one...might as well start..."

Exile was a bit disappointed, but he didn't show it. Instead, he smiled as he looked at Hunter. He nodded gently. "I'd like that. I know the perfect place for us to go."

Hunter nodded softly "Ok..." he could tell the other dog was disappointed though, even though he was hiding it "But...if it makes you feel any better" he smiled, more brightly. It was surprisingly easy to smile with Exile so close to him "...You make me really happy"

"So do you, Hunter. And for as long as it takes for you to feel comfortable with this. I'll wait for you." Exile couldn't help himself. He leaned in and kissed Hunter again. This time, though, just a quick one before he looked to the door. "Shall we?"

"Um...shouldn't we get dressed first?" Hunter said, suddenly feeling self conscious of how he looked...to certain people. He turned around and tried to fish out something to wear out of the small set of clothes 'the master' had given them. As he fished, his rump stuck up in the air as he bended over

"That would make a bit more sense, wouldn't it," Exile laughed as he threw on some clothes as well. As he did though, he couldn't help but think that his life was going to be a lot more enjoyable with Hunter at his side, regardless of whether it was only as friends, or as lovers.

Hunter managed to find a long shirt and some jeans "I don't care what you say, I'm cold" Hunter said, recovering slowly from his friend both outing himself and confessing...Was that a big deal for humans? He'd seen in news papers. A man liking other men was frowned upon...Dog's didn't care that much...maybe he was just getting caught up in the wrong stuff...Exile was a nice guy

"I have a spare coat if you'd like to use it," Exile commented.

"No, I'm fine, I've got fur too you know" Hunter said. An impulse struck him...maybe...just to see what it feels like to talk like that...get a feel for it "Besides, you'll keep me warm if I get too cold, right?"

"Of course I will," Exile smiled. He walked up behind Hunter and wrapped his paws around Hunter again. "I'll always take care of you, no matter what."

There it was again...that warm feeling...beside the normal one "...let's go?"

"There's... one more thing," Exile added, though he really wasn't sure how to say it.

"What?" Hunter asked, subconsciously leaning back into the huskies embrace

"Hunter..." he looked up."I had to beg the master to get him to let me bring you along because I had to have you here with me. I needed to have you here with me."

"It was never just a matter of him sending you.... I told the master of my feelings and asked him to let me take you here with me."

"...The master knows?" Hunter blushed once more

"Yes, Hunter," Exile sighed, now feeling defeated. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you before but I wasn't sure how this was going to work out."

"...Does he...mind?"

"He let me take you, didn't he?" Exile cracked a smile.

Hunter paused then grinned suddenly "Wow, you really must like me if you had to beg"

"Da, you don't know the half of it," Exile chuckled. "Anyway, we should get going."

"Lead the way"

Exile led his friend to a nice cozy coffee shop a little down the path from the cabin. He made sure that he stayed close to Hunter to keep him warm, and, as they arrived, he opened the door to let Hunter in first.

Inside it was very warm from the large fire in the fireplace nearby, and the smells of cocoa and coffee were all about the area.

Hunter was a little conscious of the people giving them odd looks as they walked. But by now he was kinda used to them. He smiled "Nice"

"What would you like to drink?"

"Anything that tastes a lot like chocolate. The master says Chocolate is normally bad for dogs, but I like it"

"You're a lot like me then. Cocoa is my favorite drink. I don't let the master know that though," Exile walked to the counter, his tail wagging and came back with two large mugs of hot cocoa. He walked over to a table near the fireplace and sat down.

Hunter sat more beside then opposite him. The place was very inviting and warm... The retriever looked towards Exile...something about his eyes that just seemed to be a lot brighter and energetic than usual "...You still haven't told me a lot about you Exile, besides what happened after we met, most of the team doesn't know what happened to you before that"

"Well, before meeting up with the master, I used to run a lot of dogsled races. I loved running out in the snow. It was always so much fun." Exile took a sip of his chocolate. "I've won a fair amount of races too."

"The other dogs must have had a nice view of your backside, but that's something I wouldn't complain about" Hunter said, laughing one second, then repeating what he just said to himself, and blushing "...I said that out loud didn't I?"

"Da," Exile giggled. "You did."

"Um...you're not going to casually forget I said that, are you?" Hunter said, blushing, not believing he said it in the first place, and hiding his muzzle behind a mug as he took a sip from it.

"Hunter, I already told you I loved you. NOTHING you can say can surprise me," Exile said.

"Darn...I wanted you to forget..." Hunter looked away, blushing a pink tint "It's...embarrassing..."

"You think THAT is embarrassing? Remember, I begged to get you here... THAT is embarrassing." Exile smiled.

"Yea but...what I just said was..."

"What you just said, Hunter," Exile stopped for a second. "Was by far the sweetest thing I've ever heard come past your lips."

Hunter blushed deeper, for who knows the umpteenth time that day for the same reason, and threw his arms and waved them "But it sounded so...perverted"

Exile gave a half evil smirk. "So?"

"That's so...wrong" Hunter said, not exactly thinking his words out "I mean, if I just blurted out all the things I'm thinking about you right now-" Hunter paused and frowned "...that didn't come out right"

"Hunter, admit it, you DO love me," Exile smirked, he was beginning to get the feeling that even now Hunter was feeling a bit more than just friendly.

"I...I don't know!" Hunter half shouted... "...Maybe" He said, putting his paws in his lap bashfully "I don't know how you're supposed to feel when you're in love"

"Hunter, let me just ask you. How do you honestly feel about me, right now, at this exact moment?" Exile looked serious for a moment. "What do you feel inside?"

Hunter looked down; asking himself the question...there was only one word he could come up with "Warm"

"Let me say it again, and I want you to say what feels right." Exile looked deep into Hunters eyes. "I love you."

It seemed Hunter just didn't have any control of his lips today, a few milliseconds later "I love you too" broke out to the surface

"I knew it," Exile said, as he rubbed his footpaw along Hunter's.

Hunter blushed "...I said it didn't I?"

"Da, you did. I knew you would." Exile took another sip of his cocoa.

"You know, there are a lot of other things I'd love to do with us together."

Hunter blinked "Like what," obviously totally oblivious to what Exile was hinting to.

"There's more to love than just dating, comrade," Exile winked.

"You mean like...kissing?"

"More than that," Exile said, scooting his chair closer to Hunter's.

"Oh....that..." Hunter blushed, brightly; it made his blond fur look shiny for some reason "Can we talk about...that, somewhere more private?"

Exile looked around, almost as if he was faking he was out of place, though everywhere he looked, there were couples kissing and being romantic.

Hunter noticed this soon enough "...Oh...right..."

"Hunter, I'm so happy to be here with you, I don't know how to express it. Will you... will you be my mate?"

Hunter wondered silently if dates where supposed be like this, fast paced and on top of each other...but...he as getting used to it. He was getting used to blushing too...it wasn't that bad...and he'd already blurted out half the stuff he never thought he ever would think about Exile. Silently he pondered it over.

Exile sat next to Hunter quietly as he waited for his comrade's response. He wasn't really meaning to go so fast with all the questions, but he didn't know if he'd ever get another private chance to be with him for quite some time. He sat there with a smile, looking happy as ever.

"Do...Do I really want that? Being Exile's mate...his...lover?' Hunter thought softly to himself. He didn't risk a look at the other canine, less he say something stupid again. Though, everything he said that he considered stupid, Exile liked...and he liked it too...it made him feel nice saying those things, even though they were...perverted... "Yes, yes...I will be your mate Exile...it's fast and everything...but hey, if Blitz and Colleen could make it work, somehow, what's stopping us."

Hunter blushed "Though...you might want to tone down just a little bit with me...I'm new."

"I was hoping you'd say something like that," the Russian husky commented as he kissed Hunter one final time. "I knew I was going the right thing bringing you out here... Though... there's one last thing I have to do."

"What's that?"

Exile simply smiled. He got up and went over to the nearby piano, and whispered something to the pianist there. The others nearby seemed to have also gotten the hint. Suddenly a bit of soft music was heard playing as several couples began to dance. Exile returned to Hunter and asked. "May I have this dance?"

Hunter felt a lot like a girl, but smiled, trying to embrace the new "Sure"

Exile took Hunter by the paw and walked him to an open space on the floor as he placed his paws gently on him. Very gently, he began dancing along with the soft soothing music.

Hunter let himself be guided along, not really knowing how to dance at all. He just grinned, softly trying to understand why these...feelings have never affected him before

"Nervous?" Exile asked as he glided along.

"Little bit..." Hunter replied, looking straight at Exile. The husky had wonderful eyes... it really WAS amazing how he never noticed before...

"You know, you are a beautiful dancer," Exile commented

"I'm what? You're moving me around" Hunter said "You're just saying that to make me feel good"

Exile smiled and noted that he was actually no longer guiding the other dog. "Nope, I mean it."

Hunter looked down, and indeed noticed that he was moving his own two feet by himself to the soft music "..." the golden retriever didn't say anything, and decided depend on whatever has been making say funny things and blush and wag his tail...which was wagging profusely now. He leaned forward, and rested his head against the other's chest

Exile held Hunter close as the two of them danced. The moment that they were in now could have lasted forever and it wouldn't have mattered a bit. Exile was so caught up in the moment, he didn't even realize the music had stopped and the others in the room were watching and clapping.

Hunter was the first to notice, that subconscious 'this is weird!' part alerting him "Um...Exile, everyone's watching"

Exile looked around as he backed away. "Oh... uh, sorry," For the first time, it was Exile that blushed, and he did so rather profusely.

Hunter smiled "...have I mentioned how handsome you are yet?"

Exile's eyes suddenly grew big. "No... You haven't. And might I add that's the first time you've said something without me prompting it."

He smiled. "I'm trying..." Hunter smiled, sheepishly.

"I wonder what the master would say about us now," Exile giggled as he walked back to his seat.

"Um...don't make a mess when you play around?" Hunter offered, almost kicking himself for saying it

"You're getting quite the dirty mind there, comrade," Exile laughed.

"That's your fault...you pushed it out...whatever 'it' is" Hunter said, blinking at his own weird comment

"I bet your brain isn't the only thing stirring right now, is it?" Exile asked, hinting a little.

"Actually, it is," said Hunter, actually catching the drift "I bet you wouldn't mind if I had a dirty mind"

"Wouldn't mind it a bit," Exile laughed heartily.

Hunter sipped on his coco again, trying to hide his blush

"I love you," Exile slipped out once more. "Sorry... I can't stop saying it."

"It's fine...it's me that needs to get used to saying it..." Hunter smiled

"I have a feeling it won't take much longer." Exile looked out the window nearby, and noted that the snow was starting to pick up.

"We should get back" Hunter said, following Exiles eyes "We'll be stormed out if we don't hurry...and I want to have a warm bed to come home to"

"You always will have somewhere safe to go with me, love," Exile came out saying. He had a soft smile on his lips as he said it.

Hunter shoved Exile lightly "Oh, being your mate is gonna be fun"

"I have to agree. I think this will work just fine." Exile said, rubbing his leg along Hunter's again.

Softly, Hunter murred "Safety taken into account, do you know of a place that has a bed we can share tonight?" Hunter hesitated "If you want you, I mean"

"My cabin. Equipped especially for this exact reason," Exile replied sheepishly.

"What," Hunter asked "does that mean?"

"It means, throughout the entire day I had already anticipated your feelings. There's a nice warm bed waiting for us back at the cabin thanks to the master." Exile commented.

Hunter couldn't help thinking something "...Wait...has this WHOLE mission just been a fake so you can show me how you feel, and the master helped you?"

"Took you long enough to figure it out," Exile smiled big.

Hunter just stared at his friend... no, mate. "Wow."

"How do you think the master found me, Hunter? This is HIS winter cabin." Exile added.

"Oh" Hunter said softly, and looked outside again; it was getting harsher "We really should go then..."

Exile took Hunter by the paw and led him back toward the cabin, making sure he stayed right alongside Hunter so his lover stayed warm. As they arrived, Exile opened the door, and the warmth of the room immediately took them over, although the fire had all but gone out. "I hope you aren't upset with me about bringing you here, but I just really needed my chance to talk to you alone."

"It's ok...it's kinda sweet actually...setting all this up, just for me" Hunter said, marching inside the lone cabin to escape the unforgiving snow.

"I just wanted to do something special to let you know how I really felt about you," Exile said, closing the door behind them.

"Well, it worked, I know" Hunter smiled softly while he padded around and inspected the place.

"So what do you think of the cabin anyway?"

"It's nice" Hunter said, as he peaked his head through a door. Low and behold there was a very inviting and warm looking bed right in the middle "Bet Exile could keep me warm enough if he hugged and we were naked..." he had meant to say it as a whisper, but once again the poor retriever had said it loud enough for anyone in the room to hear.

"Why don't you strip down and find out," the husky said.

Exile just walked up to Hunter and began, slowly, to slide Hunter's clothing off him.

Hunter murred softly as he felt Exile's big paws touch and caress him while he was undressed.

"Oh, Hunter... your fur is so soft." Exile said as he slid off the retriever's pants and undergarments, letting the dog's sac and sheath drop before reaching up to take off the shirt he was wearing. "And my... I never realized how big you were."

"i-I'm not that big..." Hunter weakly replied, starting to get a bit nervous...but oh, Exile's paws felt so good against him. Hunter found himself pressing and leaning into the simple touches like a needy little puppy.

"Hunter... dear, dear Hunter... May I have you," the husky asked soothingly.

Hunter nodded shyly.

Exile slowly stripped himself of his clothing as well, which wasn't much since he was used to the cold, then walked up behind Hunter. His crotch was already starting to show signs of arousal.

Hunter actually padded into the bedroom, climbed onto the bed, and looked back cutely at Exile.

"Teasing me now are you," Exile scooted to the bed quickly. As he climbed into the bed, he pushed Hunter onto his back and rubbed his sheath.

"I'm just going with what I think first" Hunter replied, smiling at Exile and murring.

"You do know what I have to do now, don't you," Exile asked, being cute right back.

Hunter nodded again, murring softly.

Exile smiled as he leaned in and licked Hunter's crotch. "Mmmm."

Hunter gasped, having never done this sort of thing before... "Exile...I'm...a"

"Shush," Exile said. "Just enjoy." Exile licked the dog's crotch once more. "I need some meat."

Hunter sprawled himself over the comfy bed, leaving his hands to his sides and his legs apart, he murred at the soft brushes of tongue against his sac.

"Come on, Hunter, gimme that cock. Show me the goods, da?" Exile licked over the sac many times.

Each lick sent a wave of new unknown pleasure of Hunter. Each one inched more of and more of his member out of his sheath.

Exile happily took the tip of his new canine lover's cock and began to suck on it, savoring and loving the taste.

Hunter moaned at the even newer foreign feeling. His member twitched and inched out faster at the sensitive attention it was given, below he grasped the sheets.

Exile took even more of the cock in, working his tongue and warm breath all over the cock. "Mmm."

"E-Exile.....so good..." Hunter breathed out, closing his eyes.

Exile couldn't stop himself now. He just wanted the retriever's juices, and was bound and determined to get them. He sank down on the cock, taking it all in as he licked over its' length.

Louder moans of hot breath filled the room soon enough. A paw came up and petted over Exile's head in appreciation of the act. Hunter's lips parted, taking sharper breaths and huffing them out just as quick.

"Mmmmrrr" Exile began to work faster; licking from the base to the tip over and over, letting his tongue cover every bit of the meat inside him. Exile looked upward into Hunter's eyes almost pleading; as if asking, or even begging, for Hunter to cum.

Hunter didn't have much experience in holding down climaxes. Before he knew it, he was howling loudly in release.

Exile gulped it down quickly, almost as if he knew it was coming and moaned as he did. When he finally had downed the last of it, he backed away, and climbed up next to Hunter. "That was hot, comrade, and, dare I say, you taste wonderful."

Hunter didn't say anything, he just breathed heavily.

Now holding Hunter close, Exile nuzzled his fur gently. "My comrade... neit, my lover. You shall be mine forever and I will always love you."

Hunter looked up at Exile, a smile crept onto his lips "...So, what else did you have planned for me on this little 'mission' hmm? If it's four days long, you must have had ideas?" the retriever, for the first time, was being suggestive.

"My dear, sweet Hunter," Exile commented. "You've only just begun to see what's to CUM."
