dRagUN, Chapter 1

Just another average day in the Sascirian village of Julnum. Everything was as it normally would be. Church bells ringing, birds chirping, stores were opening. Truly peace full, sadly everything changed that day.
As usual, I was sound asleep not a care in my mind. All of a sudden my older brother woke me up. "Holly! wake up! WAKE UP!"
He looked at me straight in the eyes. "Holly, we have to leave, their looking for you."
As I looked around I noticed everything was different. "Whe.. Where are we? Whats going on?"
My brother looked at me like i was crazy... "Sis, there are ships flying above the city! Destroying everything! Now get dressed we need to go."
I was puzzled. "Go where?"
He threw my clothes at me and walked out the door. "Just hurry, mom and dad are at the space port. I'm going there now, you need to be there in less then an hour."
I got dressed, grabbed my backpack, and put some clean clothes, snacks, and a juice box into it. "I guess this will be good enough. I should probably get moving."
There was a loud explosion, the entire house shook. I was more scared then ever, but still ran for the door. Standing on the walkway i heard someone talking around the corner. "I still say we should kill her, those Delvers scumbags want the brat alive."
I decided to sneak over and look around the corner. Three men were talking, one had his Command Console out. "Ok guys, our target is seven year old Holly Salcuria."
My mind was racing as I tried to figure out how to escape. They blocked the only stairs that weren't destroyed. I was on the second story the only way I could think of was the trees, but they were broken. I remembered my brother saying that they were looking for me, but why, why did they want me? "Remember men, without this girl we cannot power up Guardian7. Non-lethal shots only, we need her alive to start the ship."
A ship? Then I remembered my dads laptop was in the house. I went back and locked the door, then grabbed the PC. Surprisingly it was logged in, I searched for anything related to this Guardian7 project. I found a voice file from my father. "Holly, if your listening to this then I have failed in protecting you and all of Sasciria. You are probably wondering what Guardian7 is. The goal of the Guardian7 project was to build a C Class Intergalactic Warship capable of traveling from one galaxy to another without a Wormhole Station. when completed said ship would require only one crew member. Upon booting up the main computer of Guardian7 the ship remote connected to the Sascirian Citizen Database and selected that person, it chose you. Guardian7 is housed underneath Lake Julnum, the ship will gain proxy control over the security systems of the area once you enter it. Underneath your bed there is a compartment, that is where your command console is. Farewell my child, we are taking off now, we love you.
Crying I realized what had to be done, I wiped the tears from my face and went to my room. Sure enough the console was in the compartment. As I put it on there was a loud knocking on the door. "Police open the door"
I looked around my room and then an elevator door opened through the wall. Without any hesitation I jumped in, when the door opened I climbed out just to be nabbed by one of the so called 'Police'. "Got ya, GUYS! I GOT HER!"
Within seconds the other three were walking towards the two of us. "Nice job Ralph, now lets get her to the truck."
They carried me to a massive armored truck, their leader literally threw me into the back of it. Two of them climbed in afterwards, the others went up front. "Why are you guys being so mean to me?"
The leader nodded at the other guy. He stood up, lifted me up off my feet, and punched me in the stomach. I thought that punch would kill me, weirdly I didn't feel anything. I started laughing, they must have thought I was crying. "Kid, now you'll know when were being mean."
We drove for about two hours then over the intercom I heard the driver tell him we just entered the Lake Julnum area. I got an idea, I told them that they were weak and probably should start working out more. This time when he went to punch me, the trucks security system shocked him with a knockout laser. I was silently laughing at him, from there on they knew something was up.
