Wolf's Heart Prologue
(This is my first story any positive feedback would be appreciated. This is a flashback.)
A young male wolf sits there alone in the corner of the doorway reading during recess. A much larger male fox walks up to him and kicks his book away.
"Hey Rio where is my lunch money!" The fox yelled.
Looking up at the bully with a calm face the young jet black wolf named Rio. "How many times must I tell you Trevor that I don't have any money to give you I need my own lunch." Replies Rio.
"Then I will just teach you a lesson!" Yells Trevor as he kicks him in the face sending him sprawling and knocking out his tooth. At that moment the one adult on the playground watching the children play is Trevor's mother. She takes him home and Rio gets taken to the nurse and his parents are called.
"Son I am proud you didn't fight back." says his father while driving him home.
"I'm not stupid dad I remember what happened last time that bitch Mrs. Bone said I started it and her little Trevor got hurt. I had a fu-" Before he could finish his father snaps his teeth and barks at him.
"Watch your language pup!" he yells.
Whining and letting his ears and tail drop submissively, "S..sorry dad I am just so mad," he replies his voice full of fear.
"I'm sorry I snapped at you my boy and I understand you have anger issues you got them from me. I love you my son I am proud of you." Said his father while hugging him. "Now run along dinner will be ready shortly and your mom made sloppy Joes today."
"Yes!" Exclaimed Rio as he ran out the door going to climb into his tree house and read. After reading and imagining in his happy fantasy worlds he hears his name being called and climbs down running inside.
