How should I know? Chapter 6: Will you be there for me?
KRYSTAL POV "FERALI!" was all I could scream as I saw him flee in terror.
I looked back to the women who was laying on the ground angry as I ever been in my life and asked her, "What did you do to him?" I said as I grabbed by her bright blue hair to only reveal that it was in fact wig.
I tossed it to the side and grabbed the lady by her real hair and said, "Well aren't we full of surprises. I won't ask again!"
She looked at me with the now golden blonde hair and said, "You should know you're the one who did everything to him!" She said with hated in her eyes.
Then I began to stare at the woman contemplating my answer for a brief second while still holding her hair and said, "I will only bring my partner happiness. And I'll be taking your Absol." I said as I slammed the woman's head inside the ground rendering her unconscious.
With that taken care of, I grabbed the poke ball off her belt and pointed it towards the Absol and recalled it to the ball.
Now to find my crazy partner, 'if I were a seven foot water giant where would I go' I thought to myself as I made my way through the woods.
"For someone who's so big he sure can move fast" I said to myself as I now sprinted through the woods trying to look for my partner. "Ferali!" I screamed as I slowed down, do to me starting to lose my bearing and started to become lost. "Ferali! If you can hear me please answer we need to talk please!" I continued to scream in now looked like a forest.
It was past dark and really becoming difficult to see the trees. I continued walking for about an hour, till I heard my stomach growl. I completely forgot we haven't eaten anything all day, I probably can tolerate for a while, but Ferali on the other hand have been training all day with me and then battling to boot so I have to find him quickly-.
I stopped and looked at the ground and a tear fell down my face, 'Why is it like this, why is it that everyone I meet run away from me?' I thought to myself as I then looked back up. "No! I won't make the same mistake... I must...no I will find him." I said as I began a sprint into the forest again.
After an hour or so of nothing but running it felt like I ran in a complete circle, now I know I'm extra lost inside these woods. 'Well that's just great now it seems the rescuer need rescuing' I giggled at the thought. 'Hmm... I wonder if that Absol could help me out right now.' I though as I dug out its poke ball and tossed it into the air. A beam of flashed and revealed its form, when it was done the Pokémon was still asleep.
So I walked over to it and lifted it by the head. I pressed down on its nose so it couldn't breathe, its eye's shot wide open in a panic and tried to jump up. I grabbed it by its neck and just like it's master I slammed it back into the ground, I then lowered my head next to its horn and whispered to it "Calm down I'm not going to harm you. Right now I need your help." It seemed to understand what I said because it gave a light nod.
I let it go and stood up, it sat there just looking at me as I took a few steps away from it. Looking off to the side into the darkness of the forest I said, "I've taken you from your previous owner and claim you now as my own. Count yourself as lucky my Pokémon didn't kill you even though he had you in his jaws. And speaking about him that's who I am looking for; since you're a Pokémon you should have better tracking abilities than me." I then turned to it and added "Do you understand me?"
It began to stand up, and then look to me and nod in confirmation. I want hurt it so badly for being a part of the reason Ferali ran away, but it was the only chance I had to find him. I watched it as it sniffed around for his scent, once it found it started to taking off in the woods I followed closely by. We ran for about ten minutes before we came across a lake and that's where I saw him.
FERALI's POV
I sat lake exhausted from the running then swimming that I just did, to get the thought of what I was going to do out of my head. Try and try as I might the pain was unbearable in my head and my heart. To add more pain to my hurting soul my stomach was growling like mad, I need to find food but I was far too tried to even think about the effort I would have to put into doing something like that.
I just sat at the lake staring at my reflection wondering why it is that my appearance reflects that of something I really am... "A Monster!" I yelled slapping the reflection in the water. As I continued to slap the surface of the water and ignore the roar of my stomach, the wild life was becoming stirred up. I continued my rampage I heard something from behind me yell out something. I turned to see it was Krystal and Sasha standing next to one another, I couldn't bear to see Krystal let alone the person I just tried to kill.
So I made a run for it across the clearing, but didn't get far due to the lack of energy. I fell forward, but then caught myself with my hands. I heard the two of them approach me from behind and yelled, "Stop right there! Come any closer and I'll kill you both!"
I desperately wanted to be alone, but with a half ass'd threat like that would scare a Butterfree away let alone the strongest person I've ever met. Krystal started approaching me I quickly turned around and lounged at her. She didn't move an inch and allow me to pounce on top of her; I let out a load roar as I had her pinned, but she didn't move an inch.
She started to move her right hand up to my face and began to rub it smiling at me. I notice that she was beginning to cry, when I saw that I got off her and stood back with my face away to the lake. I couldn't take looking at the one who's so much stronger than me at such a weaken state do to my behavior.
"Some partner I am huh? Tackling my master and threatening her and almost biting the head off my replacement." I said to her with a sigh. "Look I'm a monster who can't control his instincts; Sasha here would make a better replacement-." Was all I could say as a small pair of arms wrapped around my back.
She squeezed harder and said, "You're such a stupid idiot. If I were to leave you out here how would you provide for yourself, how would you look for food, and most importantly how could you look for the answers you seek." She let go of me and turned her head to face Sasha. "So I brought her with me so you can confront your problems face to face." She said and turned her to the side and looked away from the both of us then took a few steps away from us.
I looked at Sasha and looked down. I wanted to say something to her, but how do you apologize for trying to eat someone. When I gazed back up Sasha inched towards me, I can still see her shaking quite a bit probably still scared from before which I can completely understand.
When she finally worked up the courage to ease towards me, she kept shaking nervously. I looked at her she seemed to want to say something but couldn't, so I broke the ice and said, "Sasha I don't think there's anything I could say to express how sorry I am for what I was going to do."
"It's alright won't be the first time something tried to eat me. And as far as I can tell you're a good guy that was very enraged by my actions. To be honest with you I'd been happier if you ended my life, every second I spend with that horrid woman a piece of me died." She said with a sad expression.
"I'm normally never like that I swear, just when your attack landed on me... I lost the ability to think and became savage enough to want to kill someone." And said to her then thought to myself 'that's not the man I used to be that I know'.
She looked to me with a smile and said, "Well all is forgiven so long as you take me with you. I don't think I can take any more of that woman and her mind probing."
I looked to her with curious face, "Umm... that not really up for me to decide, it mainly up for my partner to make." We then both turned to Krystal, to only see that she was staring at us with squinting frown on her face. She then said to us both "Are you two lovebirds done talking or what?"
We both turned away from each other and blushed; I then looked to Krystal and said, "Sasha says that she wants to come along with us. Only if you say it's okay of course. "
Krystal then only looked at Sasha and made her way over to the Black and white Pokémon. Krystal then walked around her several times examining her up and down as if using that non-existing brain of hers. She stopped behind the Absol then lifted her tail, my mouth extended wide open as I tried to grasp/understand what she was doing to the Pokémon.
"Not that I mind Krystal, but what the hell are you doing!" I asked with a slight blush on my face.
She then looked to me and said, "She'll do just fine." Looking back to the now horrified Absol, and let its tail go. Smiling to her Krystal said, "I wanted to see if you were a boy or girl and what kind of condition you're in because you belong to me and the most painful training in your life will begin!"
I took a deep sigh as I started to walk away thinking to myself 'looks like there is more than one beast in this journey as long as I have her by my side I don't care.' I came to a halt then looked back and thought again 'beast' and I looked back at Sasha who was now on the ground passed out from all the unwanted attention. 'Hmmm...she seems really familiar for some reason. I think I've seen her from somewhere just can't think of where though' I dismissed the thought and calmed myself saying to myself it was all because of the amnesia everything will come back to me sooner or later.
Krystal returned Sasha to her ball and put her ball inside her pouch. She looked at me with a smile and said, "Welcome back Ferali."
I smiled back to her and said "It feels great to be back, but Krystal I have two demands I need to make."
She looked at me with a curious face and asked, "And those would be?"
"For you to kill me..." I said to her with a serious tone. Then walked up to her and looked her straight in her emerald eyes to show how serious I was about this situation.
"Umm...what the hell are you talking about? Kill you for what? You have no reason to die and there's nothing you can say to me that'll make me do so purposely!" She said in a shocked tone of voice.
I raised my right hand up to her in a halting way to stop her from talking and continued to speak, "Krystal I don't want anything like that to ever happen again, and I'm not a killer. Neither are you, so if I were to lose it like that again I want you to take me out before I hurt someone." I said balding my fist then looking away from her to not see the worried face she was making.
She looked down and said, "For your second demand."
"Once I find out about my past and I've done anything to hurt or kill anyone for cruelty of gaining anything I want you continue your journey without me. I'll find my way to atone for my sins and will not drag you into my mistakes...Am I clear about all that?" I said to her while looking half eyed to the side.
She reached up and slapped me really hard, so hard I lost my balance and stumble regaining it. I held my face as I looked at her, her curly hair was bouncing in the wind of the blow she looked as if she was going to cry.
"I'm your Master...No, more importantly your partner and partners don't give up on each other we forgive and forget for what we done in the past and move on. So, no I shall not be your scape goat out of your problems; if I'm to kill you it'll be during your training and you've earned a honorable death. Am I clear on that you big idiot!" she said as she fought back the tears.
"Krystal!" I yelled at her loudly.
"Ferali!" She yelled back in defense. "I shall not be alone anymore, I refuse to be alone, and I don't care if you burned down a Poke Center! As long as I have you I will not leave your side." She screamed as a single tear fell down her face.
I looked at her and smiled saying, "I guess as usual you're not going to let me win this fight are you?"
She looked back at me and said "I'm too stubborn for that, you should know that about me by now, you big blue berry!" For such a beast she knew the role of beauty to well if you ask me.
I nodded to her and fell on my back; her eyes grew wide and immediately ran to my aid and ask, "What happened, what's wrong with you."
Next thing everyone heard was a loud roar! "Krystal I'm dying!"
She looked down and bald up her fist, then let out a yell, "If you're dying of hunger then EAT THIS!!!" as she let out a kick that sent me flying across the lake.
I felt the wind beneath my feet as I was flying then felt like I was being pulled back to the surface, that's when I notice Krystal was holding my Poke ball pointing it towards me. I went to sleep as the light engulfed me and I'm just glad to have such a great partner in all this.
KRYSTAL's POV
As he returned to his ball I looked down at it and thought to myself 'I'll always be there for you...'
Now to figure out how the hell am I going to get back to the hotel and on top of that get out of this forest? 'I know I'll just call on that Absol and get her to guide me again...what was her name...oh yeah Sasha'.
I pulled out her Poke ball and tossed it into the air and released her. She was still asleep when she appeared so I stomp the ground making her a bounce up. She quickly got up and looked around her environment; I snapped my fingers to her and got her attention.
"Hello Sasha my name is Krystal may I ask a good favor of you pretty please." I said with my hands in a praying position tilting my head to one side.
She nodded curiously and tilted her head to the side looking at me.
"Awesome you think you can help me get back to the city?" I asked politely not changing my position.
She took a deep sigh then began to sniff around for a scent or something. After she was done she began to dash off at high speeds I followed her matching pace with her allowing her to lead.
We ran for about thirty minutes before we stopped, once we did the city was right next to us. I looked around for the strange women that I knocked out earlier, but then I shrugged at the thought and continued walking behind Sasha until we got to the city entrance.
I reached for my head as the massive headache came back. I tried to grab Sasha but she was too eager to get inside the noise hell-hole. I then clapped my hands loudly to gain her attention, when she came back I place my hand on her head.
"Can you please guide me where I need to go my head feels like it's going too spilt if I stay out here any longer." I said as I placed my other hand on my head.
She looked to me and nodded.
We walked at faster than normal pace than I would with Ferali but the sooner the better for this headache of mine. I kept pace with her and stumbled a few times till we reached the hotel front door. Why does this city have to be so loud at night I'll never know.
I opened the front lobby door and stumbled inside with Sasha right behind me. I went to the front desk and pulled out my card and told the front desk women from last night that I would be staying for another six nights. She smiled to me and took the card from me and charged it.
I was about to leave then I turned to back to the women and asked her, "Can I have some breakfast delivered to my room in the morning." I said looking at the clock showing that it was past three a.m.
She nodded to me as I waved back at her then making my way back up the stairs. They felt a lot longer with Ferali holding me up as I climbed. I made it up the first flight without any problems, but the second felt like climbing a mountain with a one ton metal band tied around my head. I made a large leap when I fed up with the pain.
Sasha jumped when she saw make the leap, but I really wasn't paying too much attention to her. When I landed I stumble and fell over exhausted from all that happened tonight I started to fade out into darkness. That's when I felt something sharp poke me in the side I stood up quickly to only have my new shirt torn by Sasha's horn. I looked down and signed and smiled to her nodding in thanks.
That poke gave me enough energy to make it back into our room I opened the door and told Sasha to close it when she comes in. I jumped over to my bed only to land on all the clothes I had on it from the previous night. I giggled at the thought of what happened today and its outcome; though I wanted Ferali to never say anything like that again.
'Oh Max what would you do in this moment' I sighed deeply into the pillow and knocked all the clothes from underneath me onto the ground.
"Max he reminds me so much of you." Not realizing how loudly I said that I began to drift off.
'Will you be there for me?'
