Kabuto: Chapter three the Last Goodbye
I awake sore and tired from crying and still saddened for my friend I lost. I get up and get dressed to go to town so I can get supplies and a shovel, that way I can give her a proper burial. I cover my face and get the sleigh with supplies closing the cave on my friend so she is left alone by wild animals. It is weird to say concidering I am a wolf but I didn't want to come back and her body was ravenged for food. I headed to town crying still and wondering if the money I grabbed from the house was enough for what I needed, but I kept going.
I got to town and they were alll gathered around this one guy who was rambling on about a wolf man. He told everyone he might be dead but it is highly doughted that he is dead. I was watched by some when I walked into town but I kept going and got to the shop without incident. When I walked in the storekeep was looking at me funny but then asked what I wanted. I ask him for a shovel, food, flowers, and blankets. He looks at me funny and says okay and is that all for you? I tell him yes and he rings me up and I hand him the money I have and he looked at me funny then he asked me what my name was. I told him Kabuto I don't come into town often, he looked at me funny again and said well see you around I said I guess maybe.
I put the stuff on the sled and started to pull the sleigh out of town the people looking at me more than last time. I was wondering am I going to need to run or hide, but just thyen a stranger put his arm around me and started to talk to me. He said, "Sir how would you like some dogs for that sleigh?" I said, "uhh I don't really need any." Then he said, "of coarse you do come with me." He pulled me to the side out of site of the crowd and started to talk to me he said, "Wolf what were you thinking coming into town after the stunt you pulled last night?" I looked at him wondering who he was and how did he know but I told him the story of last night and he looked down, "okay I understand now lets go." we lft talking like we knew each other so we did not raise suspition, he told me his name was Mac and he would be my friend if I wanted. I told him yes and we left to bury my friend I lost.
We getv to the cave and I move the rock out of the way to get my friend and put her on the sleigh. We go in search of a good place to bury her, I stay quiet still crying a little. we find a nice tree and I start to dig but my eyes fill with tears and Mac has to continue for me as I go to hold my friend. He finishes and I lay her in with the flowers I got and we start to put the dirt in on top of her and I tell her goodbye one more time before I start puting rocks on top and crying one last time. I walk off with Mac to his place into a new begining wondering what will happen next that I will regret.
