Teenage Loves
This was a sonnet that I wrote not too long ago in a new form that I created, tercet, tercet, quatrain, quatrain. It might be a little rough, but I spent a good two weeks trying to finish it, and it seems to have come out rather well. There's some hidden allusions in here, so see if you can find out what they are ;) Well. Hope you like it. :D
You know not what love is, you are too young.
Teen hood is just sunrise to know your wants
Live with love singing songs already sung.
You will soon understand your true desire
is something not found in second ring hunts
for your blind sin will lead to Hellish pyre.
Repent! Repent! Or you'll soon see that you
will soon lose in ev'ry young love, all dignity.
To your morals you must hold fast, hold true
or else all reason from you will fast flee.
Be patient with love, don't push, don't shove
And look for your true love, the one that life
seems meaningless without; this one true love.
So live hap'ly with them, live without strife.
