As I waken to a bright new morning with a loud yawn and long stretch. When my arm came down to my sides I looked over to where Krystal was in the bed. So I decided to play a prank on her and scare her out of her sleep. As I snuck up to her in her bed and gathered my breath for a deep roar and grabbed the sheets that was covering her head and yanked the back as quickly as I could...Only to find that it was nothing but a bunch of pillows stacked in a certain way.

I looked over to the window that was next to her bed where the sun rays entered the room. As I peered out the window to welcome the morning rays, that I looked down I saw small figure standing down the on the ground I assumed it was Krystal on the street. I heard footsteps coming from behind me I quickly duck assuming the worst, then looked up it was Krystal flying out the window. I immediately reach up and grabbed her by the arm only to be pulled by the force of what seemed to be a drop kick she did. I pulled back with all my might as she continued flying forwarded. With one final tug she came back flying into the room landing on her feet in her bed.

She was still wearing her PJ's from last night I looked to the side and blushed slightly and then started yelling at her while staring at the wall. "What the hell was that? You could have been killed we're on the second floor you know!" I said with an angry tone with my eyes closed as with my face pointed at the wall.

She gave me a smug look and flicked her curly hair then said, "You idiot you think a fall like that could have killed me you have to give me more credit than that. I only did that to see if you could dodge my kick if not you'd be the one dead. You catching me was a bonus on my part." She said with a giggle.

I then looked back to her and said, "Are we gonna get anything to eat that steak last night left me after the fight in the alley." She walked up to me and slapped me in the face after I said that.

I winced from the pain holding my cheek looking at her then said, "What was that for?"

She placed a hand my chest then looked down to say, "As long as you're with me you don't ever in your life surrender to anyone." She looked back up to me and made a very angry face then turned away from me and added "We don't get breakfast till we burn off the meal from last night with lots of training. So meet me down stairs in fifteenth minutes so I can get dressed. And remember what I said last night if you have any value for your life...."

I cut her off and said as looked towards the door, "yeah yeah I know I know don't look at the little girl's body." I started making my way towards the door, as I was about to reach for the handle and made a quick strafe to the right of it. Two shoes hit the metal door hard, with enough force to place a large dent into it. I played it cool as I shook my head left the room, but not so cool on the other side as I started silently freaking in the room hall way. Where a couple of Pokémon trainers passing by watched me with great confusion, I ignored them and sat near our room door with a growling stomach and a now full bladder. I stood up and went down stairs to look for a rest room, searching all hallways this place felt like a maze. It was well pass twenty minutes when I actually found one and went inside.

Two men were inside standing on opposite sides of each other using the urinals so I walked up and stood in the middle. Both men looked at me and leaned back then looked at each other. I had my eyes closed in great relief not paying any attention to anything. They finished and left the rest room and one saying, "That was weird." I shrugged not caring about what anyone said and finished up.

I left the rest room with a smile on my face. As I made my way to the front lobby there stood Krystal in her pink shirt that she bought last night looking me with both her hands on her hips. She just stared at me with a mean facial expression going back into her 'beast' mode; I just made my way to her with a sigh. When I made it to her she just turn away from me with a flick of her hair and walked out of the lobby to the outside into the city, it was a lot quieter than last night. She didn't need to lean into me for the walk we made; which made it a very long and awkward walk till we reached the outside of the city. After about an hour of just walking we made it into the wooded area, then she stopped in front of me and folded her arms.

"We are going to spend the next three days here training; I don't want to hear any complaining about it either. When you fought that guy in the ally last night you could have done better with your water abilities you could have knocked the knife out of the creep's hands. Or shot froze him before he could have stabbed you." She stopped then turned to me and said "We have until dawn to train; you shall only eat when I tell you that you can. I'll be coming at you with no mercy and I suggest that you do the same or you will die. Am I clear?" She said flicking her hair at me.

I nodded to her and dropped down onto all fours and began to charge up for a hydro pump. Never taking my eyes off her I just sat waiting for her wanting to make a move. As soon as she got into a fighting stance of her own, I release the powerful spray of water. She dug her foot inside ground and took the blast head on, I didn't notice it at first till I crawled quickly from behind it trying to surprise her with a sneak attack, but she was holding off the massive blast with her left hand and waited for me with her right hand. Once I got close enough to her to hit her with a powerful blow with my fist, she took her right fist and connected it with mine. I tried to push her back, but she had both her feet planted inside the ground I looked to her now with wide eyes as she started to push me back.

So I used my left hand and made a quick slash across her face to which she quickly ducked and smiled. While in a crouched position and fist still locked with mine she jumped out of the hole she made and sent me flying about four feet into the air. Once landing on my back I rolled over to my stomach to see her charging towards me at full speed, I used this opportunity to shoot several shots of water streams at her. She quickly avoided them and put a guard as she continued towards me; in the nick of time I jumped out of the way of the massive speeding bullet.

I looked behind me to see her landing on a tree with her feet and bounce off it and change directions back towards me. I saw this and strafe spun around to my right leaving my right claw out as she charge pass me for the second time only to land and slide across the ground. I turned to her and pointed with my right claw and said, "Looks like I got the point across" as a drop of blood fell off my claw.

She looked at me and giggled wiping the blood off her face from the scratch that I gave her. I spat a water gun at her face trying to catch her off guard which easily avoided by tilting her head to the side. She then ran towards me with full speed; not wanting to run away anymore I stood into a guard stance, leaned into it, and ran towards her at top speed.

When we collided with each other it felt like I was getting hit by a train, it felt like it shook the whole wooded area as I heard birds Pokémon flying away. I being astonished that she had so much power was the last thing I thought about before everything went black.

When I awoke Krystal was sitting over me with my head on her lap. Just looking down at me smiling I tried to move but grunted loudly from the pain on my chest. She held me down petting my head I gave her a confused look and blush slightly. I looked towards the sun it was already starting to set, and then I heard a loud roar, but worries to soon be dismissed as it was only my stomach. This caused me to blush even harder; Krystal began to giggle cutely at the noise.

She looked at the sun as well then said, "You are very strong you know that. Not too many people are able to touch me when I'm at the top of my game like that. And the fact that you're alive is something in itself; the move that I used before we hit was aimed directly at your heart to cease it from beating. I was impressed that you were able to guard it and shift my arm over to your stomach thus knocking the wind out of you, after that you passed out. I'll let you know right now don't ever make puns around me I can't stand them and I'll kill you if you do OK!" she with anger.

I gulped then nodded to her. Ten minutes passed before I was able to sit up properly I looked to her and said, "Hey why do you keep Poke balls with you if you don't keep Pokémon with you?"

She looked at me then back toward the now falling sun and said, "It's sort of silly thing but I always wanted to be a Pokémon master. But as you can see I lack the patience to train most too all Pokémon; I often wondered to myself would I always be alone. That's when he showed up to me and ended my loneliness." She looked over at me then start tearing up.

I wanted to comfort her but didn't know how so I asked her, "So Krystal may I ask what his name was?"

She just didn't say anything for a while then looked to back to the sun and said, "You know Ferali let's not talk about him for a while and let's go back to the hotel ok..." she said as she stood then took a usual stretch. Then look back at me standing up and said "You keep making me tear up when I said I wasn't gonna cry anymore."

I looked to her and shook my head slightly and thought myself that she mustn't be to socially attune with conversation with others. Now that I think about it all the talks that we had with each other were really brief unless she was talking about her feeling to me; that or talking about her mystery lover.

I asked her before we start walking I asked her, "When are we gonna continue the pursuit of your lover?" I felt a small pebble hit me on the arm I looked down to my arm then back to her. She said, "Hey what I just say about that, you big nut!" Then looking to the sky once more she said, "I don't know...maybe when the time is right he'll appear to me, I have to get stronger so I can beat the hell out of him for leaving me!" She stomped the ground kicking up a lot of dirt as she did.

I sat back, gulped and left the topic alone afterwards. I feel sorry for the guy yet happy for him I mean a small beast like her come searching for him like she is doing, I guess this would be true love...Why would I know anything about that. I think this can only confirm that I was once human, I don't think a Pokémon would know about these kinds of emotions. What kinds of lengths a human would be willing to go through for their loved ones; and yet I know them very well. I guess it was the best decision to travel with the small beauty...

About an hour passed as we walked back to the city, the night life was beginning I wanted to get back before Krystal headaches started again. It felt like someone has been following us for quite some time because every so often I'd hear an irregular leaf crunch as we walked. To make sure I wasn't going crazy, I matched Krystal and my footsteps so that we walked in sync with each other. That's when Krystal stopped and yelled, "You can quit following us and make yourself known to the people who guided you to town."

I stopped behind her and turned my head into the direction of the sound. Then out from behind the trees came a woman in a blue shirt, some khaki shorts, and a pair of hiking boots. She had blue hair, was much taller than Krystal and she filled out her outfit more than Krystal did as well, she was much more physically attractive than the beast I walked with. She walked pass the both of us without saying a word then stopped about a little more than twelve feet away then turned to us and said, "Your quite perceptive to have noticed me, not to many people would have noticed a thing till it was too late. I'll make this quick little girl surrender your Pokémon or Die." She said reaching onto her back pulling out what seemed to be a Poké ball.

Krystal closed her eyes and said, "First of all I'm eighteen years old so take that 'little' crap and shove it! Secondly I heard you from a mile away with your fat heavy steps, and last of all you won't be leaving this battle alive..." she opened her eyes halfway and added a smug frown as if to be looking down on the taller women.

At this point the women was becoming very furious by Krystal insults then calmed down and said, "For that little girl you shall die, but it'll be impolite of me to kill you without at least knowing the name of my target." She said with a wicked smile.

"My name is Krystal, Krystal Silvers and I'll be your opponent for this battle!" she said in a firm tone as she dropped into her usual fighting stance.

The woman looked at her with a curious face and said, "What are you doing, you're not serious are you? My Pokémon will tear you apart, but if it's a death wish you want I'll be more than happy to give you one!"

Once the lady said that I reached out forward and grabbed Krystal on the shoulders and whispered to her "Don't stoop down to her level use me I'll take out whatever she wants to use against me."

She then dropped her stance and turned to me and said, "Alright fine, but your still a little worn out from today's beating so if anything happens to you don't surrender! Am I clear Ferali?"

I snapped to attention and said, "Yes Boss!" Loudly I not really sure if the woman could hear me or not, but I didn't care I was happy that Krystal was finally trusting me in her own twisted way.

I wanted to show her of much of me as possible in combat even if it's against this very beautiful woman. She was good eye candy on the outside, but I could tell on the inside she was rotten on the inside. I thought to myself as I now stepped forward and took my fighting stance. I prepared myself for if worst came to worst and Krystal somehow got involved how I would be able to stop her as well...

I didn't dwell on the thought for long because my opponent threw her poke ball out and smiled.

"So you're gonna use that giant moron that doesn't look like it comprehend anything...hmph fine by me! Either way it'll be going for a nice price so I'll take it as well, after I kill you of course." She said to Krystal as her Poke ball erupted to reveal what she had inside.

Out of the showering white light formed an Absol, I was quite surprised to see one here, and something about it felt very familiar. It turned to me and smiled very creepy like, then turned back to its master and nodded to her. The Absol turned to me and said, "Hi my name is Sasha and I'm here to destroy you!"

She said that and rushed to me with blinding speeds, in that instance I knew what she was going to do so I sprayed the ground with some water. Before she realized what was going on it was too late as she slip and was on her back sliding towards me. I stepped to the left and stuck out my right claw to my rear, she caught a glimpse of what I was going to do and rolled out of the way of the powerful slash I made on the ground. She stood up and looked toward me biting her lip not wanting to do anything till her master said something.

Sasha the Absol looked at me and nodded. I looked at it questionably thinking 'Why the hell was she nodding to me for?'

That's when I heard Krystal say, "Ferali! Be careful the woman is a psychic and she's telling the Absol what to do without talking to it directly."

My eyes shot open thinking was that even possible! As I tried to comprehend what the hell she meant by that, the Absol started tensing up and then yelled 'Thunderbolt'.

I looked at her then dropped to my fighting stance on all fours waiting for an attack...the next thing I felt/saw was a yellow light engulfing me with a painful stinging sensation all over my body. I have to say it hurts like hell, but that wasn't going to be enough to stop me. I then looked back up to her furiously the only thought in my head was saying 'Kill her'. I opened my jaw slightly and spat a spec of water at her feet and then two more times.

The Absol began to laugh and say, "Either you're giving up or you don't have anything left in you. You're pathetic and I'm gonna destroy you in one blow."

I began to make my charge directly at her without any kind of plans or hesitation. I began to open my mouth as I approached her to bite her head off if I could.

By this time she tried to move out of the way...but couldn't she then looked down at her feet and saw that they were frozen solid. Her owner saw what had happened and leaped in to intervene, only to be stopped by Krystal and her amazing speed as almost instantaneously appear in front of her. She gasps as Krystal hit her in the face with a right hook; hitting the ground very roughly she could only lay on the ground and watch as her Absol be torn apart. Krystal didn't take her eyes off her for a second making the frowning smug face at her, and literally looking down at her.

I moved closer to Sasha as she used her free front-right paw to swipe at me, only to have it miss. Her eyes grew dull as I mouth now covered her head she went limp as I felt her body give up with her head still in my mouth.

As I was about to bite down something inside me told me to stop. My body came to a halt and my senses returned to me, as looked down to see what was underneath me was the body of the Absol. I quickly spat her head out of my mouth and fell over on my back. Scared out of my mind I quickly ran back towards the wood...

Thinking to myself as I ran as fast as I could, 'Have I lost my mind, what's wrong with me, am I going down the right path?'
