Tales of the Lost Chapter 9: The other Chosen one Zelos, the battle with Alice begins!
Once they were all at the entrance of Palmacasta, a sword almost came down on Marta, but luckily he was protected by Emil's sword. Emil then looked closer to see that it was Richter who was holding the sword, Richter then put pressure on the sword and Emil had to move back a little, Richter then finally said "What are you doing!?" Marta was blushing and said "Thank you Emil!" Emil only focus on pushing back and said "I-I made a pact, a pact to Protect Marta and get the Centurion cores. I'm not letting you get in the way!" Richter got surprised and said "What?!" But then, a short sword came at him, but he blocked it with his axe. Richter and Emil and Marta looked at where the short sword was thrown and finally saw a fox with red fur but with a black star on his right eye, he had on a red armless shirt and a white long pants with a short sheath behind him, also having long red hair and looking older than Emil and Marta but not to old. The fox had on a smile and said "Whoops, sorry, my hand kind of slipped." He then walked over to his short sword and picked it up, after that he then walked over to them and said "But you know, you shouldn't go and hurt people like that." Richter put his sword down and looked at the fox, Emil was right next to Richter and saw the fox spin Marta around and put her around his arms and said "Your not hurt are you?" He gave her a smile, but she looked disgusted by him and turned her head away. Richter eyes then widened and said "Wait are you-" The fox turned his head to Richter and said "Well it seems like you know me, but I don't know you, frankly I don't care, but if you hurt a fine lady like this, then I would have to fight you." Richter looked at him some more and then said "I'm not going to fight both you and Emil." He then put his sword and axe away and turned his back to Emil and said "Alice is plotting something, I suggested that you not let her find you." After he said that, he left Palmacasta. Once Richter left, the fox looked back at Marta and said "Are you alright, my lady?" Marta then looked back at him and said "Thank you, but who are you?" the fox said with a smile "I'm the great Zelos Wilder." Marta then got surprised, but Zelos said "I'm sorry, I have an appointment with the Governor general. I would love to meet you again some day, bye now." he than unwrapped his paw from behind her and slowly slipped his paw off of her and then left in the other direction of them.
Emil and the other walked up to her and Emil said "Are you alright?" Marta shook her head and then looked back at Emil and said 'Oh, yea I'm fine." Ventus suddenly said "Who was that?" Marta looked at Ventus and said "I think that was the Chosen of Tethe'alla." They all got surprised, but Marta said "But, I don't thin so. A chosen would never say something like that." Emil let out a sigh of relief and said "Yea he's nothing like Collette." Marta shook her head and said "Yea I know." Tenebrae said without hesitation "We should be going to the Dynasty Ruins." They all looked at Tenebrae and said at the same time "Yea." And then they all walked out of the Palmacasta go to the Dynasty Ruin." Finally, they all got to the entrance of the Dynasty Ruin. Emil finally said "Oh yea I forgot." They all stopped and looked at Emil and Marta said "What is it?" Emil looked at Marta and said "Richter said something about the Vanguard reviving the Sylvarant Dynasty." Marta had a shocked look on her face and then said "This is one of the places that was constructed during the era of the Sylvarant Dynasty." Ventus tilted her head and said "But what dose that have to do with reviving it?" Tenebrae said "I heard the Vanguard is trying to get a Mana cannon." Emil turned to Tenebrae and asked "What's a Mana cannon?" Marta said "I heard that it's some type of ancient machine, but that's all I know." Emil and Ventus understand and Emil said "Well, we should get going." Marta and Tenebrae shook there heads and they all finally went into the Dynasty Ruins.
Once they were in the Dynasty Ruin, they all looked around for Thomas. Finally after looking around the first floor of the Dynasty Ruin, Marta yelled to everyone "Hey guys, I found him!" They all looked at where Marta was and saw that she was near a door at the. They ran up to her and Emil crouched down to get a closer look at Thomas. Once he saw that it was Thomas he said "Thomas is that you?!" Thomas then woke up, but still looked like he was about to die he said "W-Who is that?" Emil picked his head up and said "It's me, Emil." Thomas looked confused and said "Emil? That can't be you." Emil looked at him with an odd looked and then thought "Am I really that forgettable?" Marta crouched down and said to Thomas "Thomas, why did you come here?" Thomas looked at Marta and said in a weak voice "I thought that if I came here, then I would find a way to get rid of the storms, but all I found was this." He then pointed at the huge fish that had it's jaw open and it looked dead. Right after he pointed to the fish his eyes closed and he passed out. Emil shook him to wake him up, but it didn't seem to work, so then Tenebrae went to the fished and investigated it. Ventus walked up to Tenebrae and said "What's wrong Tene?" Tenebrae looked up at Ventus and then back t the fish and said "This is. . . A dead Remora." Emil stood back up and said "What dose that mean?" Tenebrae walked up to Emil and looked at him, saying "Remora are sea creatures. It's pretty rare to find them near the ocean." But before he could say anything else, A young girls voice said out from behind "Well, it looks like the deal is off." They all turned around in surprised and saw that it was Alice and she was on Porthos and Athos was right behind her. Alice gave them a smile and said "Well it looks like you got far, but not very far." Emil pulled out his sword while Marta pulled her blade out, Alice got off of Porthos and said "Well either way," She pointed her toy rapier at them and said "It's time to die!" And then, the battle began.
