Oh and this means Authors note * it means I'll explain it at the end
Well this is my Betrayed series I know you were expecting a Hunter Hunted story but if I don't do this series it will be on my mind until it drives me nuts. So enjoy or don't whatever your fancy but word to the wise if you are going to bitch don't expect a warm reception.
Betrayed: Let the Hunt begin
"So what's he like?" Io asked slyly
"I don't have a clue about what you're talking about" Hecate said
"Please even that blunt force idiot Mars could one see your attachment to Prometheus and two I am fairly sure even Aries could smell the sex on you" Io said bluntly
Hecate blushed "Fine so what if I am seeing him" she said snippily
"Just wanted to know" Io said
"Oh and don't get any ideas he is mine and mine alone" Hecate said sharply
"What?" Io complained
"I never went after Aries so don't you touch him" Hecate warned
Io hissed "Oh alright have your wolf boy" and then went off to talk to Hera
"Mine and mine alone" Prometheus said emerging from the shadows behind Hecate
"Jesus how did you do that?" Hecate asked
"I am a wolf and I also have very good hearing" Prometheus said
"Please don't do that again" Hecate pleaded "Scared me half to hell"
"Really only half" Prometheus said
"That just creeps me out" Aries said as he watched Hecate and Prometheus talk
"What?" asked Io
"Look at Prometheus he is the pinnacle of what we are, he has Mars' strength, my speed, your intelligence, Hecate's stealth and Hera's ability to command. If he chose to he could be unstoppable and I think that urge implanted by those scientists lurks below his surface" Aries said fearfully
"Sometimes you surprise me" Io said happily but continued "I think that as well but what can we do Hecate pretty much controls Hera who commands us so we could never get rid of him unless we can stop Hecate from controlling Hera"
"I don't know we just have to watch him" Aries said doubtfully
"Somehow I don't think Io likes me" Prometheus said darkly
"Why would that be? She was drooling over you" Hecate asked
"That's just it she went from desire to planning to get rid of me in about twenty seconds" Prometheus said "There is something hidden about her, something dark"
Hecate looked at Prometheus, he truly was the best of them the question was whose side was he on?
"Where are we going?" Prometheus asked
"South America we'll use Mars' old friends to get there" Hecate said
"What mercenaries?" Prometheus asked
"No of course not FFL" Hecate said
"FFL?" Prometheus asked
"French Foreign Legion, Mars was trained with them and their current commander was his squadmate so we can depend on them for transport. They run training exercises down there" Hecate explained
Prometheus nodded "Alright sounds good now if you'll excuse me I am going to sort out Io" he said suddenly
Prometheus walked over to Io and Aries "Alright what's your problem?" he asked
"I don't know what your talking about" Io said
"Okay stop being stupid I could hear you speaking I have exceptional hearing, now I'll ask again what's your issue?" Prometheus said his voice heavy with anger
Hera walked over "What's the problem?" she asked
"Io has been planning on how best to rid the group of me" Prometheus said flatly
"Is this true Io?" Hera said anger flashing in her eyes
"Of course not he's lying" Io denied vehemently
"Sound familiar I quote 'what can we do Hecate pretty much controls Hera who commands us so we could never get rid of him unless we can stop Hecate from controlling Hera' evidence enough" Prometheus said darkly
'If looks could kill Prometheus would be dead' Hecate thought as she saw the looks Io was giving Prometheus
Hera turned angrily on Io "If I hear of one more incident involving you Io I will throw you to the British"
Io blanched visibly at that threat evidently no-one wanted to be caught by their countries 'I wonder what they fear' Prometheus wandered
"Look I personally don't care what she plans" Prometheus interrupted "I just want to be myself again"
"Don't we all" Mars said walking up to Hera "We will be picked up at Hanoi by my friends and go from their to South America"
"How far are we from Hanoi?" Aries asked
"About three days walk" Mars answered
"Which means?" Hecate asked
"Really only about a day and a half" Mars replied
"Shall we leave now?" Hera asked the group
"Fine let's go" was the general response
The strange group trumped through the thick forest "Did it ever occur to them that it might be nice to make a freaking path?" Hecate said then swore loudly as she hit her foot on another hidden root
"It might but even if they did we couldn't someone spots us and we'll be world wide news. God knows there are enough reporters around at the moment" Mars replied
"Why is that?" Hera asked
"Wolfy boy here planted some kind of powerful explosive and blew a secret Chinese military base to hell" Mars answered
"Not entirely my fault" Prometheus said "The Australians gave me gear that contained explosives and I ditched it in the base"
"What do you mean?" Io asked
"Well the GPS system they gave me blew itself to hell about twenty minutes after I ditched it in the base when I was leaving. Hecate told me it might have something like that so I ditched it and I am glad I did" Prometheus replied
"Shit they really wanted you dead" Aries said
"Well didn't they try the same thing with Hecate?" Prometheus asked
"Yes but they gave her a suicide mission they deliberately tried to kill you" Aries said as if that was all the answer the world needed
"There's no real difference" Prometheus said flatly
"Not really but still" Aries said attempting to be serious
"So this Lab what will be there?" Prometheus asked trying to divert the conversation to a more serious note
"Information" Hera said "Above all we must get Io to the central computer she is the only one who can crack the codes that the scientists use"
"Don't see why we can't just get a computer to do it for us?" Hecate grumbled
"Oh would you like to see the code those fucks use it would blow out any code cracking computer" Io yelled
"Oi calm it down" Mars said "We might not be alone, it's possible to walk past someone here without seeing them but it won't be if you are shouting understand"
Both Hecate and Io turned quiet instantly but both continued to shoot poisoned glances at each other, suddenly Mars stopped "No-one move we are standing in the middle of a mine field" he said calmly
"What? How?" Prometheus asked
"Look around you can you see all those irregular shaped lumps in the ground" Mars warned "We are in a spider mine* and if it goes off we are dead. When I say we will all walk to the right the trigger is in the centre which is about two steps forward of where I stand so be bloody careful not to bump me"
The group carefully picked their way out of the trap and as Mars finally exited he sat heavily on the ground "That was a hell of a lot closer to death than I would have liked" he said finally
"What would you have preferred five steps?" Aries asked
"Shut man" Mars said and gave Aries a shove "How do you felt that close to killing everyone?"
"Doubt I would have set it off I don't weigh as much as you" Aries laughed
Mars growled and jumped on Aries and pinned him to the ground "Really well let's try that theory out shall we?" he suggest
"No thanks" Aries said hastily
"Oh come on it'll be fun see how fast you can evade the shrapnel" Mars said darkly
"Put him down Mars as much as I'd like to see that you know we need him" Hera said tiredly
"You're lucky I still listen to her" Mars said to Aries as he put him on the ground
"You always listen to me" Hera said
"True" Mars confessed
"Should we keep going? Being this close to something that lethal is slightly nerve wracking" Prometheus said
"You're right let's keep going" Hera said "Oh how close are we to Hanoi?"
"Not far we made better progress than I thought only a couple more hours" Mars said over his shoulder as he pushed through more of the thick jungle
It took about two more hours to reach Hanoi the last thirty minutes were the worst, out of the jungle the city was incredibly crowded even at one in the morning.
"Why are these people still up?" Io asked
"Who knows" Mars said "Let's just find the ship and get the hell out of here"
"Can't find any fault with that" Prometheus said
It took them another two hours to get from the outskirts of the bumbling city to the docks without being in the major crowds. Once they reached the docks the FFL ship was immediately obvious and fairly close to them there was only one issue.
"How the fuck did the Americans get here?" Mars almost shouted but restrained himself
"Can't we just take them out?" Prometheus asked
"Be my guest try get yourself killed if you want" Mars said
"Fine give me a shout if reinforcements show up" Prometheus told them then walked straight out into the docks
"That is one crazy motherfucker" Aries said
"You won't find any argument here" Io said
"We have to help him" Hecate said getting ready to rush out to help him
"Don't you'd just be in his way" Hera said restraining Hecate
Prometheus walked straight up to the American commander "Looking for someone?" he asked in a deadly tone
The commander jumped back and ordered his men to attack
"Bad idea" Prometheus said then slammed into the Americans
The American soldiers didn't stand a chance, Prometheus leapt forwards into the first one and ripped his throat out before his could even get the safety off his M16. Prometheus almost walked through the Americans felling them with blows to the throat or simply ripping their throats out, eventually he reached the commander "Think you stand a chance" he asked the man who had just witnessed his men's slaughter
The commander dropped his gun in front of Prometheus and surrendered "I am not going to kill you today but if I see you or any more Americans there won't be any survivors next time are we clear?" Prometheus told the commander and on a side thought told him "Also tell the Australians and British that to"
The defeated commander scattered into the city, Prometheus turned and waved the group in.
"I don't think we'll see him again" Prometheus said
"Good now let's get the hell out of here" Hera said "Before he can find more of his men"
"He won't come back" Prometheus said "I said that if I saw him or any American soldiers there wouldn't be any survivors, he seemed to get the message"
Hera laughed and shook her head "Good he might not come back but still let's hurry"
The group ran onto the ship and were greeted by the FFL "Who the hell are you?" asked one of the FFL soldiers
"Don't tell me you can't recognise your old squadmate" Mars said
"What the hell did they do to you?" asked one of the soldiers stepping forwards "Who did this to you?"
"My government saw fit to make these changes" Mars said sadly "And my friends here had the same problem with their governments"
"We had heard rumours but this surpasses what we had thought possible" the soldier said "Well I don't care what you look like and as far as I am concerned this form is an improvement on your previous looks"
Mars shook his head and laughed "Well let's get out of here I assume you saw what our wolf friend here did to those Americans?"
"We did they weren't expecting that" the soldier laughed
"Well our friend here also saw fit to let their commander go with a message but I see it more likely the guy coming back with reinforcements" Mars said
"Right let's get out of here the Americans might be coming back" the soldier roared
The crew moved quickly to ready the ship and soon they were gone leaving Hanoi far behind them only problem was it turned out that Aries got seasick which he did in the cabin, good start to a worse trip.
Prometheus soon got sick of the cabins which were now individual 'Thank God' he thought as he moved up to the main deck
"Couldn't stand the cabins any longer?" Hecate asked
"Could you?" Prometheus replied
"Good point, feel sorry for Aries?" Hecate asked
"What after he upchucked on my gear?" Prometheus said
Hecate laughed "It's not like you have much gear" she said
"Which is the problem now all my gear stinks of horse vomit" Prometheus replied
"Eugh bet that stinks" Hecate said
"You have no idea" Prometheus said dryly
Mars and his friend walked up to Hecate and Prometheus "Who's your friend Mars we never did learn his name" Hecate asked
"My name is Charles" the FFL soldier said "I am currently the commander of the French Foreign Legion"
"How long till we get to South America?" Prometheus asked bluntly
"Around a week the ocean currents aren't with us" Charles answered
"Christ a week of Aries chucking that isn't going to be pleasant" Hecate complained
"No shit" Prometheus said still annoyed at having to change his Australian camo gear for FFL camo because Aries chucked on him
"Oh get over it" Hera scolded him as she emerged from below deck
"It was good gear" Prometheus said
"And your new stuff isn't?" Hera asked in her superior way
"Of course this stuff is good but I hate to waste something perfectly good for no reason like having someone chuck on you because he isn't fast enough to dash to the bathroom" Prometheus retorted
"Oh you're impossible" Hera said
Hecate laughed as she saw Hera storm back down to the cabin to help Aries again "I wonder why she defends him?" she asked
"Why would you ask that?" Prometheus replied
"Well Mars is her mate and Aries is Io's mate. Wait a second where the hell is Io?" Hecate wondered
"She has been with Aries since the trip started she hasn't even left that accursed cabin" Mars replied
"Huh ah well the less I see of her the better" Hecate concluded
"Amen to that" Prometheus said flatly
"Why are you so hostile about her?" Mars asked
"Ah I guess you weren't listening when I exposed Io's childish plan to get rid of me. I would have thought Hera would have told you" Prometheus explained
"I thought there was something foul about the way she talked about you" Mars said
"Who cares as long as she stays out of my way I don't give a shit what she says" Prometheus replied
"Good I doubt you'll see her much on this trip she is rather possessive to say the least so she won't leave Aries side this whole trip I'd say so you won't have to see her for a week" Mars replied "And for the Gods sake please don't argue with Hera it makes it hard for me later"
Hecate laughed suddenly "Really she allows you into her cabin" she said
"Shut up Hecate I haven't commented on your recent sleeping arrangement have I?" Mars said
"Fine be that way" Hecate said half seriously then burst out laughing
"You seem to have a very messed up group old friend" Charles noted
"Not so different from our training is it?" Mars asked
"Let's leave Mars to reminisce and enjoy ourselves" Hecate whispered to Prometheus and then dragged him off
"I can hardly bear the suspense" Prometheus said laughing but was cut off as Hecate kissed him hard
"Alright next time I'll hit you now come with me" Hecate said voice heavy with lust
Prometheus wisely bit his tongue to keep back another barb
Hecate practically kicked the door of her cabin down in her urgency to get in; the bed in the cabin presented a problem for those of you who have never been on a military grade ships the bunks are about the width of a cricket bag and about a tall as one to. For those who aren't Australian I can't really think of an adequate description so tough.
"Looks like we'll have to improvise" Prometheus said darkly
Hecate had shed her clothes almost instantly after she had entered she leaned naked against one of the walls and growled "How do this look"
Prometheus shed his clothes fairly quickly "Just perfect" he groaned as he stepped behind her and entered
Hecate moaned as Prometheus began thrusting rapidly into her driving her into the wall with every thrust "Harder" she moaned as Prometheus slammed into her
"Alright" Prometheus said with dark intent and began thrusting as hard and fast as he could into Hecate literally driving her into the air with the power of his thrusts
Across the hall in her and Aries cabin Io scowled darkly as she heard Hecate cry out in pleasure as Prometheus rode her, his thrust were audible across the hall and there was some fairly thick steel doors in the way.
"Oh gods" Hecate screamed as she came hard on Prometheus cock her inner muscles clenching and unclenching powerfully on him
Still Prometheus continued thrusting hard into her, Hecate turned her head and looked into Prometheus' eyes and they weren't the eyes she knew. His eyes had changed back to the way they had been before her bloodlust and pleasure filled his eyes somehow darkening them making them more animalistic, more dangerous and Hecate loved it, she just hoped she could snap him out of it.
Prometheus howled loudly as he came sending his seed deep inside of Hecate sending her off on another orgasm then collapsed, energy gone, and the dark light fading from his eyes.
"We have to do that more often" Hecate said happily as she came down off her high
"I agree whole heartedly on thing freaks me out though" Prometheus said "I went into the bloodlust state and you know it what if it happens somewhere like a city and you're not nearby"
"If it takes that to push you into that state I'd better be in the same room with you" Hecate said meaningfully
"I didn't mean it like that" Prometheus said "I meant attack some idiots and go berserk"
"Ah well I will probably be nearby if not I could catch you" Hecate said
Mars slammed on their door "Guys you have got to see this" he shouted
Prometheus and Hecate started then began to get dressed "This had better be worth it or he will pay" Prometheus growled
"It takes a lot to impress him this should be good" Hecate replied
Prometheus and Hecate emerged on the deck and saw a wholly unpleasant sight it appeared the Australian Navy and Air Force had gotten wind of their escape from Vietnam and had decided to stop their ship.
