Emil Marta and Tenebrae were walking for days and finally, Tenebrae fell to the ground and said "I'm hungry!" Marta stopped and looked at him with confusion and said "Can Centurions even get hungry?" Tenebrae flailed around and didn't hear what Marta had said, while Emil just stood there looking at Tenebrae's flailed and suddenly, he picked Tenebrae up and he said o him "Come on I'll get you something." Tenebrae stopped flailing and shook his head in excitement, saying "Ok let's go get something, Emil!" Marta looked impressed with what Emil had done and smiled. Finally, They all went back on where they were going and finally, they had gotten into a city. The city looked like it was in ruin and some of the houses were almost destroy and the wind in the city was very heavy. Emil had put Tenebrae on his back and heard him sleeping, Marta, was next to him when they saw the city, Emil looked up at the sky and said "It sure is windy in this city." Marta looked at him and said "Come on man up!" Emil glared at her and said " You can say that." Marta whistle and looked away from him. They all walked into the city and looked around to find a store that sold food and finally they had came to a grocery store and walked in. Marta and Emil looked around and saw that there was manly bread and apples so, they only bought apple and bread. Once they got out, Tenebrae woke up and looked around to see that he was on Emil's back and said "W-Where are we?" Marta, who was in front of them said "We are in the city of Asgard." Emil looked at Tenebrae and smiled saying "Hey there sleepy head." Tenebrae stomached growled and he looked away and said "O-Oh yea I'm still hungry." Marta went to Tenebrae and handed him an apple and Tenebrae took it and said "Thank you." Emil put him down and said "It's was-" But when he was about to finish, he hit someone and they both fell to the ground. Marta looked at Emil and took his paw and picked him up and said "Emil, are you ok?" Emil looked at the person who he had fallen and put his paw out and said "I'm ok but is he ok?" The fox with green and blue fur, with orange eyes, and wearing a black suit with black pants on that had white stripes coming down and black boots wit white laces on, he rubbed his head and took Emil hand and said "Yea I'm ok." He got up and looked at Tenebrae and said "It's odd to have kids in this city without their parents." Marta, Emil, and Tenebrae looked at him but didn't say anything. The fox looked up at the sky and said "It's been so long." Marta finally said "Have you lived here?" The fox looked back at her and said with a smile "I've lived here for so long that I've been even when the name wasn't Asgard." The Fox didn't wait for them to say anything else and left the city.
They all looked at the fox who had left the city and finally, Tenebrae said "Who was he?" Emil looked at Tenebrae ad said "Beats me." Marta looked behind her and had a surprised expression on her face and said "Guys let's get out of here!" Tenebrae and Emil looked at her with a confused expression and Tenebrae said :Why should we?" Marta didn't answer but instead, She grabbed both of them and ran over to a cliff and pushed them down and she looked down. Tenebrae and Emil looked at each other and looked down the cliff to see a kitty with a white fur, green eyes, and white hair with a white and red dress with white and red boots on and a Toy rapier in her hand, the Kitty was looking down at Hawk, who seemed to be bowing to her, and said "I-I'm sorry Alice please forgive me!" Alice looked at him and smiled saying "Sorry is not going to get Colette now is it?" Emil looked over to Marta and whispered to her "Who is she?" Marta didn't look at him but said "She is named Alice and she is the leader of the Vanguard's combat unit." Hawk continued to bow to her and said "I-I'm sorry but if you could be a little more patient-" Alice hit Hawk in the head with her Toy rapier and started to beat him while saying "Don't you dare say that Alice is Impatient!" Hawk finally looked up at Alice once she stopped beating him and said "I-I'm really sorry!" Alice let out a sigh and said "That's ok. Just go find here. Alice know she's here and Alice want her now. So Alice is going to go to the Mayors house to see if she has seen her." Hawk shook his head and bowed to her one last time before she left. Once she had left Hawk got up and said to the other Vanguards who were there "Search the place for a Fox with golden fur. If we don't find her then Alice is going to take us all down." The other Vanguards looked frighten when Hawk was talking about Alice and said "Y-Yes sir!" And then, they all left.
Once they all left, Emil, Marta, and Tenebrae all got up and Emil said "Now we know that The Chosen is here." Marta shook her head but looked sad and said "Yea, but now we know that Alice and Hawk are here and if they catch us then it's all over." Tenebrae was thinking and said "Why don't we just go to the other house to see if the Chosen is in there." Emil and Marta thought about it and they both said at the same time "Ok then let's go." And so, they all headed off near the others houses.
After they had checked almost all of the houses, they all came back and looked at each other and Emil said "Did you find her?" Mara shook her head and said "No sorry. How about you Tenebrae." Tenebrae shook his head and said "I haven't seen her." They all looked at the ground and looked at the only two house that were near each other and that was a small house that looked like it had a second floor but it got destroyed by the wind and the other was the Mayor's house, where they'll get capture by Alice if they see her. And so, they all picked the house next to the Mayor's. Once they got in the saw a young fox girl, with golden fur, and blue eyes, and white dress with blue on, She was facing the other way and said "Oh so he's not here then?" The woman right in front of her said "I'm sorry Chosen One." The Chosen one rubbed her head and said "On it's not a problem." Marta walked right next to the Chosen one and said "Chosen one I have to ask you something." She turned next to see Marta and said "Yes what is it?" Marta continued after The Chosen was finished "Two year ago, A giant tree went on a rampage on the town of Palmacasta. It was believe that this happen because the Chosen of Regeneration ran away from her duties is this true?" The Chosen looked to the ground and closed her eyes and finally said "Yes." Marta looked surprised and then angry she pushed the Chosen to the wall and said "My. . .My mother was in the town when the tree came." the Chosen looked surprised and fell to the ground right after she was pushed and said "I-I'm sorry." Marta yelled at her "Why did you go you coward! If you weren't such a coward then my mother would still be alive!" Tears fell down Marta when she was yelling and once she stopped, she ran out of the room. Emil and Tenebrae saw everything that happen but didn't say anything once Marta had left, they both went to the Chosen and picked her up, the Chosen got up and said "Thank you." Emil didn't say anything to her but said to Tenebrae "You stay here I'll go find Marta." Tenebrae shook his head and Emil left the house and looked around to find Marta. Finally, Emil had found Marta near a cliff and saw that she was looking at the sky, He walked to her and put his paw on her shoulder and said "Are you ok?" Marta looked back him when she felt his paw on her shoulder and said "Yea it's that. . .I can't believe that someone like her could be the Chosen." Emil sat down next to the cliff and looked up at the sky, Marta sat down next to him and continued "You were there when the tree went on a rampage in Palmacasta." Emil shook his head and said "No I wasn't." Marta looked at the ground and said "Oh." Emil looked sad and said "Yea I wasn't." Marta looked back at him with her ears perked up and said "What did you say?" Emil looked away and rubbed his head, saying "Oh nothing." Marta got up and said "Let's go back to what we were doing." Emil got up and said "Are you sure." Marta jumped and said "Yea with you by my side, I would always do my best to be happy and continue this quest." Emil looked at her and smiled, saying "Ok then, let's go get Tenebrae." Marta shook her head and said "Ok." They both went back into the house.
Once they got back, They saw that Tenebrae was all alone with the other woman that talked to the Chosen. Emil looked at Tenebrae and said "Where is the Chosen?" Tenebrae looked at Emil and said "She said that she had to go and then, she just left without letting me say anything." Marta looked at Tenebrae with a surprised expression and said "But Alice is still out there and if she finds her then it won't end well." Emil tilted his head and said "Why do the Vanguards hate the Chosen so much?" Tenebrae explained it to Emil "The Vanguards thought that the Chosen betrayed the Sylvarant for supporting the Tethe'allan's ." Emil shook his head and Marta said "And there are Vanguards swarming this place just to fine her." Emil got surprised and said "Well then let's find her." Marta and Tenebrae shook theirs head and left the house. They all came back to the cliff that they had been on when they saw Alice and Marta said "Did you see her?" Emil replied "No I didn't." Tenebrae let out a sigh and said "It seems like no one has seen her." They all heard a girl scream and Emil said "What was that?" Marta looked around and saw that A girl was hanging onto the cliff with one hand and said "I see someone!" Emil and Tenebrae looked over to where Marta had seen the girl and got surprised. They all ran to the girl until, the wind got stronger, Emil and Tenebrae tried to hold onto something while Marta, was still running towards the girl, who looked like she was about to fall any second, Marta finally got to her and grabbed her paw and said "Are you all right?" The girl shook her head, seeing that she was scared, she didn't say anything. Marta looked back at Emil and Tenebrae and said "Emil! Tenebrae! I need your help." Tenebrae shook his head and slowly moved to her while Emil, shook his head and slowly walked over to her. They were about almost there until, Another gust of wind hit both of them and they fell to the ground, They both looked up and saw that Alice was right next to Marta and the girl. Alice looked over to Emil and said "Well, Well look what we have here." Emil pointed to her and said "Your Alice!" Tenebrae said "Yea Alice the sadist." Alice looked at Tenebrae with a furious looked on her and said "Hawkie! Take care of them!" Hawk was right behind them and said "Yes my lady!" Emil and Tenebrae looked at Hawk and saw that he was about to fight him. Meanwhile, Alice walked over to Marta and said "It looks like MartMart is here too." She hit Marta in the head with her toy rapier and kept stepping on her while Marta, yelped every time she was hit but held onto the girl and didn't let go. Alice continued until, Someone from a distance said "Angle Feathers!" And then two halo-like blades hit near Alice and she moved back, she looked up and saw that it was the Chosen who had use the move, the Chosen had her pink wings and flew to Marta and the girl and grabbed both of them and put them next to Emil and Tenebrae, who were still staring down Hawk, Alice looked at them and said "Oh goody! Colette and MartMart! It's like killing two birds with one stone! Now Hawkie! Porthos! Athos! Attack them!" Hawk, a Monster-wolf named Porthos, and a Monster-rabbit named Athos all came at Tenebrae, Marta, Emil, and Collette and so, the battle began.
