It's been 2 days now since the mysterious death of Angel. No one was the same since then, especially Demon who was usually happy but now she was always depressed never happy. It hurt Rayne to see Demon so depressed because he never ever saw Demon depressed until now she was. It seemed to Rayne that this was very bad and Demon might try to do something drastic but he had no idea what she might have planned. Windy was very weary around Ranshiin who took every opportunity to be alone with her whenever that was possible. After a few hours with being with Ranshiin and quenching his needs, Windy had gone out to the small pond nearby to clean herself since she hadn't gotten to do that in a few days when she feels something going on in her body.
Windy looks down wondering what might be happening when suddenly, she feels her stomach throw up all of its contents in the pond. What's wrong with me? Why am I so ill? Could it be what I was fearing when we were heading out the village? That I might be pregnant? Probably but there's only one way to find out and that was to ask montage. He'll know what's wrong. Windy quickly cleans herself up more before heading off to SoulWorld to ask montage about her problem. Over at the hut, Rayne was trying it figure out how Jewel's stomach had become fat when it was flat when he first saw her fighting the beast that had chased them just a few nights ago.
_Oh man that's weird......why isn't her stomach flat? Is she fat or pregnant? Oh god don't ask her......do not ask.......let it be...don't..._Rayne looks at Jewel who was making something asks "jewel? Why isn't your stomach flat? You fat or pregnant?"_Dumbass.....Dumbass.....Rayne why did you do that? Oh god now I'm sacred I'll get beat up for it...._Jewel looks up smiling. "Well I'm pregnant, that may sound weird because of how I'm thin when I had battled right?" Rayne nods. "My body does that to protect me against predators that would think I was more vulnerable to be killed." "Ah I see now thanks Jewel that uh helps, a lot." Jewel laughs before going back to her knitting.
Meanwhile outside at Angel's grave....
Demon stares at her sister's grave wondering what she had done to have her sister die like this.What have I done? I gave my heart to the SoulThieves in order to keep you alive......but in the end you die again.....why?......what have I ever done to make you die? Demon stares down at Angel's grave watching the roses on her grave wilt and die as if Demon's presence was killing the roses. Demon sits there for what seemed like an hour before slowly going to her knees, leaving her hair to cover some of her eyes which were blank. Demon slowly takes her paw and slides it to where her knife was that usually stayed in her black leg straps in case of danger. Just at that moment, Angel's soul appears in the air as an adult. She watches her sister bring the knife that she used on SoulThieves and brings it high above her head with one paw.
_What is she doing? Oh NO! She's going to-to....._Demon doesn't move as the sky turns black with rain beginning to down pour on her, making her wet but she didn't care because it won't be long before she would be reunited with her sister. Angel watches in horror as Demon says clearly while baring her teeth. "Gods above! Give the power I beg of you! I want to be with my sister that you had taken from me.......my soul's what you want well you can HAVE IT!" Demon brings the knife down to stab in her stomach but its stopped when in unseen force shouts "DEMON NOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Demon confused and utterly angry looks around her not knowing that voice was Angel's. "WHO'S THERE? SHOW YOUR SELF YOU BEAST!" Angel clutches the knife that she caught as she had screamed not wanting Demon to kill herself but to live and grow. Angel slowly pulls the knife away as she panted seeing Demon's shocked face at seeing the knife being pulled away. "Demon please I'm not dead, I'm not dead." Angel's voice was choking in sadness as she made herself appear in front of Demon in her full adult body.
Angel was wearing a golden choke necklace that covered her bosom with her pilot's cap on her head. On the brown cap were goggles and she also wore brown gloves with blue gems in the wrist of them. Demon's eyes widen as she watches Angel become more solid as she lands in front of her. Demon's eyes fill with tears as she gets up slowly to meet her sister's gaze. "A-Angel? Is it really you?" Angel nods as she smiles her sweet smile to Demon who hugs her tightly while crying. Angel smiles before hugging her back just as a figure is sitting in a tree behind Angel grins before throwing a knife to hit Angel but Demon sees the figure throw the knife and knocks Angel out of the way as the knife goes into Demon's chest. "DEMON!!!!!!!" Demon's eyes widen in shock and pain as blood gushes from the wound and some spilling from her mouth before going to her knees as she tries to get the knife out of her chest.
The figure disappears after cursing under his breath seeing that his plan didn't work out to well. Angel with tears in her eyes runs over to Demon who was now perhaps dying. "D-demon please don't die.....I need you please....stay with me." Demon smiles softly as Angel lays her on the ground. "Angel you must run now or gah!" Demon moans as the pained worsens. "Here give me that flower it's called a hayla it has many healing properties but hurry." Angel picks a beautiful flower that looked like a tiger lily but was purple with its petals dripping nectar and puts it on Demon's wound. Demon moans as her body heals up but she grabs Angel just as the ground begins to shake. They're coming where should we-ah ha! There alright that tree should do. "Angel?Let's go, Blood's SoulThieves are coming come on!" Angel confused feels demon grab her arm and takes her to a tree that seemed very old.
Damn they're catching up! Over in the distance were a ton of species all having red eyes and all wanting the same thing. Blood and guts from two SoulKeepers both in season. Demon throws Angel up the tree before climbing up as well just as the first wave of the creatures slams into the poor trees trunk. Angel screams out crying as she hugs demon who hugs her tightly to her body when she hears a familiar voice. "DEMON HOLD ON I'M COMING!" Demon looks over to see to her surprise to see Montage flying to them as quick as he could. What is he doing here? Aaaaahhh! "Angel hold on were going to aiiiieeeeee!" both Demon and Angel go flying in the air before montage catches them in his strong arms before flying over to a cliff and sits them down. "You two okay?" both nod glade that they were all safe. "I'm glad Demon I came here to-gahhhhhh!!!" "MONTAGE!" a SoulThief that was a demon grabs montage and drags him into the mass of the SoulThieves. Demon and Angel watch as his body disappears with his howls of surprise.
Demon cries as she tries to go out to the mob but angel wouldn't let her. "DEMON NO! He's gone he's gone." Demon falls down sobbing as Angel's words eco in her mind.He's gone.....he's gone.....he's gone...Why? Oh Montage! Please be alright! Demon looks up to see that all the SoulThieves were gone now and all that was left was montage's body in the middle of the landscape. Demon runs over to his body with Angel right behind. Once close enough Demon lays her head on his chest hoping to hear a heart beat but gets nothing as tears fall down her face making her crumble to the ground crying next to his body. Angel weeps seeing her sister so upset. As Demon cries her body glows as does Montage's and seconds later, Demon was wearing what looked like a priestess dress with a small blue gem that sat on a golden metal face band on her face. When Angel looked at Demon she was in shock there standing before her was demon the new priestess. Demon looks up from her weeping to see what had happened and finally took it in that she was chosen to take montage's place as a SoulPreist. Demon looks up and places her hand on Angel's head to make her change from dragon to her angel form. Angel was now Holy Angel, the being the made a World by just being born.
Angel had larger white wings with her long blond hair even longer than before that went all the way down below her hips. She also had the symbol of the light/wind goddess on her bosom and she was now a soft light peach skinned human being. Angel and Demon both stare at each other both now understanding why Windy was brought to them. They were her protectors and she needed them both and she was heading off to Soul Temple alone. "We must leave now come Angel let us protect our mistress Windy." Angel nods before taking off into the air after her sister to protect Windy the SoulGoddess.
