Chapter Two

"Wow, only 6 left, and it was only 1 minute in."

A fox stood in a room outside the fight, watching thru a window. Blood had stained it after a boar was kicked in the face so hard he lost a tooth. The red kangaroo had taken out 3 of the fighters within 30 seconds. Two had come at him from the front, and with a swing of his legs he had kicked the first on in the face, then spun forward and landed in a handstand to spin around to kick the other opponent, a very muscular wolf, in his midsection. To the wolf he took out all he saw was a red tail trailing in front of his face, as Toggle had moved so fluidly, it was the only thing that still remained where he was watching.

The third one was a rabbit. Right as Toggle righted himself onto his feet, the rabbit had come to hit Toggle square in the nose. The punch looked very successful, and the roo fell backwards as the fist collided with his face...except that it was timed too well. A bit too late, the rabbit had realized the roo was rolling with the hit, his tail under his back to catch his fall. Both his legs however had come up and kicked the rabbit right in the gut. The rabbit, who was 36 years old, and had trained for 30 years to be as strong as he could be, was thrown across the room from a point blank kangaroo's kick and knocked out for the first time in his life, after only fighting for 27 seconds.

Ichigo had only just finished unsnapping the buckles and buttons when the first opponent who wanted to take down the weakest looking fighter took their shot. He held his arms in a defensive block as the bear punched the bat. His knuckles met Ichigo's forearms and he felt blinding pain from the impact. Ichigo, like most bats, had wings. But the evolution of most bats differed in this area. While some had them on their backs, most had them on their arms, which made clothing and movement difficult. Ichigo's had the standard five fingered hand, but at his wrist, 4 long bones were attaches, with a very thick looking segment of between them. The skin between the fourth and his elbow was a bit looser and thinner then the rest. Upon closer look it actually ran as a very slight skin that went even farther down to his underarm, but was not as long as the skin on his wings. They were the length of his forearm and were held against his arm with the straps on his sleeves. As the sleeve opened, the bones extended outward in a flash and the bear was hit under the chin.

Now usually the bone on a bat was much longer, and was weak, along with the skin being more taut, but the bear felt the bone across his cheeks and felt what was clearly metal. Ichigo at a young age, had the bones from his wings surgically replaces with a segmented metal contraption. It was the last thing his wings felt. Since then he had lost all feeling in his wings, and even if he could, his bones were heavy now, and the best he could manage was a halfhearted glide, instead of a full on one. He had no choice in the operation, and could not remember the feeling of air beneath his wings. He could not remember if he missed it. The bear rolled back in pain, nursing a broken tooth, and a very sore jaw. He started to get up before Ichigo turned his arm up and swung downward with his hand turned to the side. The bones in his wings extended with a rapid speed from a spring-loaded mechanism that was put in with the operation and the thicker skin stretched into the tight veined skin of a bat. The bear felt the hit to the side of his head and was knocked unconscious, never truly knowing what hit him.

A fox was the next down attempting a jab, Which Ichigo brushed aside, using his wing like a cape and the fox like a bull, allowing him to run into a nearby metal beam, followed by a leaping cat, whom was caught in the stomach with a flap, knocking the air out of him. Ichigo held his now fully open wing in front of him, shaking it some to try to remember what it felt like it. He rarely opened it, not wanting to see the healed scars on the leathery skin between the bones. But somehow, amongst all this violence, it made him want to remember some of that...till he looked over to his friend, and noticed that their were only three left in the room. Him, Toggle, and the Alcohol drinker. He willed the wing to slide back to its half extended state, and walked over to his friend, being wary of the clearly drunk fellow.

Toggle had taken out 3 more fighters after his first three, one of which he felt bad about, as he saw the tooth go flying, but according to his math, the second highest body count for knock outs belonged to the wavering individual, whom Toggle now stared at closely.

"Drunk Boxing. Amazing. And you are dedicated to your..." Toggle ducked as a leg swung over his head. The Drunken silver wolf swept the leg over him, which landed on the floor, allowing the wolf a chance for a second kick aimed at Toggle. Toggle blocked it with his arms, which hurt like a bitch as he was knocked back by it. As he rolled back he moved his entire body backwards into a handstand, then back onto his legs. Ichigo stepped in front of him and swung his wings outward in slashing motions. The Wolf easily dodged them, moving as fluidly as possible, or so it appeared. A close onlooker could see each sweep was a near hit, barely missing. The wolf countered after one of swipes, attempting a kick at the bat's legs, which he leapt over, and took a flap to gain some altitude over the Wolf. The wolf turned after the bat, which Toggle appeared to take as a chance to attack him from behind. The wolf turned around with a stagger, and aimed a fully extended kick to Toggle...Which Toggle smiled too.

The fight ended in the next four seconds, but the move used looked like it took half a minute. Toggle leapt over the kick, spinning as he did, and putting his hands on the shoulders of the opponent, which forced his leg back down to catch his balance. Toggle swung his body downward, and before the wolf could do anything, he hooked his legs under the arms of the wolf, and swung his body down, throwing the wolf off balance enough so that Toggle could take a swing at the back of his knees allowing Toggle to get his hands to the ground. He shifted his weight into his legs, and pulled the wolf by the arms over his own body, and slammed the wolf into the mat with all his strength. The wolf was out cold. Leaving only Ichigo and Toggle the only ones not unconscious in the room.
