Emil woke up and heard the howling again and said "That howl. . ." He then thought "When ever I hear that howl it feels like I've heard that before." He shook his head and got out of his bed and put on his with shirt with blue lines coming down it and blue pants and went out of his bedroom. He looked a his aunt and said "Good morning aunt Flora" Flora looked at him with disgusted and Emil looked to the ground until, that howl came again, he looked at the window and said "That howl. . ." Aunt Flora said "There have been more monster in the city." Emil put his head down and said "I'm sorry. . ." Aunt Flora said "Why are you apologizing? You awful child. I can't believe that this is Lora's Son. Genes must come from your father." Emil put his just said "I'm sorry." Emil went out side of the house and walked all the way until, the howling started to come again and he thought "The howling is coming from the shrine" He then went to where the shrine was. Finally, he went to the shrine and two cats were bowing their heads to the a statue of the blue fox that killed his mother, Emil looked up at it with an angry face and looked away and walked away until he heard someone say from behind him "We saw that!" He turned around to see that there was two identical looking foxes with red fur but one was wearing a red shirt while one was wearing a blue shirt and the one with the red shirt said "We saw that! You didn't give your thanks to Lloyd the Great!" Emil back away slowly and said "I-I already did. . ." They both replied at the same time "No you didn't! Give your thanks" Emil went up to the shrine of Lloyd and looked to the ground while the two foxes looked at him and one said "Come on!" and the other said "Give your thanks!" Emil clenched his paws and said "No I won't give my thanks!" They both got surprised and Emil looked at them and continued "Lloyd was the one who killed my parents and I'm not giving thanks to some murderer!" The two foxes were stunned and Emil looked at both of them with surprised and said "I-I mean-" But before he could say anything he was pushed to the ground by the foxes and hit someone's shoes, he then looked up to see who he had hit.
A wolf with red fur and blue eyes and red hair, having on a black shirt and black pants with black shoes, with one sword that was sheath and one axe that was sheath on each side. The wolf looked at the two foxes and down at Emil and put his paw on Emil's hand and said "Here." The fox in the red shirt said "W-Who are you?!" The wolf looked back at them and said "Get lost." The two foxes looked at him, terrified, they both ran away from him. Emil stood up with the wolf help and said to him "Thank you." The Wolf looked at him and smiled, saying "It was nothing." he looked at the shrine and said "Courage is the magic that turns dream into reality." Emil looked at him and said "What?" The wolf turned away from him and said "You should stand up for yourself." And then, the wolf walked away from him and Emil heard the howling again and thought "That howling again. It sounds like it's coming from the lakebed. But that would mean that I would be leaving that town and everyone would be mad at me." Hr then remembered what the wolf had told to him and said "I'll go to the lake bed to see what that howling is." He made up his mind and walked to where the lake bed was.
Finally he was at where the lake bed was and saw that it had completely dried. He remember that strange occurrences have been happening, Lakes were dried up, trees were burned to the ground while ice melted into the seas. He continued to walk until he had seen a large bear and moved back when the bear had seen him he pulled out a long sword with it's handle looking like it was formed into a shape of a "G". The bear charge at him but luckily he jumped to right and sliced the bears chest, but that didn't do much since the bear just looked at him and threw it's arm at him and he blocked it but he felled to the ground and his sword fell to the ground and he backed up while the bear got closer he said "G-Get away!" He shielded himself and the bear pulled it arm up and was about to attack when someone said "Watch out!" The cat jumped and did a twirl and sliced the bears head with her blade that had the shape of a flower. She looked at him and said "If I was one second to late then that would be the end of you. Are you alright?" Emil shook his head and said "Yea I'm alright. Thank you for saving me." She giggled and said "It's was nothing really." they saw that the bear was getting up and she got into a stance and said "Can you fight?" Emil said "W-What?" She said to him "Come on you're a man can you fight?" Emil felt like he had finally had someone who didn't think that he was a waste and picked up his sword and said "Yea." She looked at the bear, who had finally gotten up and said "Ok I'll help you from behind." Finally, the bear charged at them.
The Bear pulled his arm up and threw it down between the cat and Emil and they both jumped on behind him and Emil stabbed it in the back while the cat sliced it a crossed it's back while she was landing to the ground and finally the bear fell down to the ground and died. Emil put his sword away and the Cat put her blade away and looked at Emil and said "Thanks for your help-" She stopped and looked at him more closely and said "Hey it's you!" Emil backed up a couple steps and said "W-What?" The Cat girl put her paws to her chest and looked at him with a concern face and said "You don't. . . Remember?" Emil looked at her more closely and said "Sorry I haven't seen you anywhere." The cat just giggled and fixed her hair and Emil saw a red glowing symbol on her forehead and said "Well even if you don't remember me I'll still remember you. Sorry but I have to go now." She walked away from him and Emil just looked at her with amazement. Emil finally shook his head and said "Who was she? And how did she know me?" He remembered about that wolf who helped him and said "Maybe he knows who she is." And after what he had said, he left the water bed and went back into the village, Once in the village, he looked around to see if he was in the village and finally he found the wolf in the mayors office and looked at him. The Mayor and the wolf looked at him and the wolf said "Yes what is it?" The mayor said "Oh do you know Emil, Richter?" Richter looked back at the mayor and shook his head and looked back at Emil and said "I forgot to tell you something." Emil looked at him and said "Yes what is it?" Richter replied "Do you know a girl with a red glowing symbol on her forehead?" Emil looked at him with a surprised expression and said "Yes I do I-" Richter didn't give him time to finish and shook him with a excited look on his face and said "Really?! Where?!" Emil tried to answer him but he couldn't since he was shaken by Richter and the Mayor finally stopped Richter and said "The boy can't answer you if your shaking him." Richter shook his head and said "Oh. Right I'm sorry Emil." Emil felt dizzy but said "I saw her on the riverbed." Richter shook his head and said "Ok. Can you take me there?" Emil looked at the Mayor and he just shook his head and he looked back at Richter, who seem anxious to get to the riverbed, and said "Ok I'll take you there." Richter shook his head quickly and went outside. Emil followed him outside and saw him waiting impatiently. Richter looked at him and said "Are you ready?" Emil shook his head and they both set off to the lakebed.
Richter and Emil finally come to the lakebed and saw the dead Bear and Richter looked at Emil and said "Did you do this?" Emil looked away from him and said "Y-Yea" Richter gave him a smile and said "I'm impressed" Emil blushed and rubbed his head and said "I-It was nothing really." Richter started to move again and said "Let's go." Emil looked at him and followed saying "Y-Yes." Emil and Richter saw a cave and they both went in and looked around to see that there were a lot of crystals and they were all lighting up. They both continued to walked until Richter suddenly stopped on a door and Emil had heard someone say "Master Richter!" Emil looked around and said "What was that?" Richter looked back at him and said "Probably just the wind." Richter looked back and closed his eyes and said "There a monster in here I advised you to stay here until I tell you to come." Emil looked back at Richter and shook his head, saying "Ok." And Richter finally open the door and went in.
Emil had finally been alone and looked up at the ceiling of the cave and said "I wonder what he is doing in there right now?" Suddenly, he had hear a girl scream from the other side of the door and he said "What was that?" He started to pace around and thought "Who was that? Isn't Richter in there? He might be in trouble. I have to know" Suddenly, without hesitation, he ran into the room and saw what he hadn't believe. Richter was clashing blades with that cat girl that had help him. Richter had jumped and said "Immortal Summer!" His sword caught on fire and he sliced down to where the cat girl was and she said "Radiant Rose!" She had jumped back and jumped into the sky and came down about to slice Richter. Richter looked up and said "Immortal Spring!" He place his sword next to his face and pushed up and wind started to generate on his sword and he pointed it to the cat. Emil just looked at them as they were fighting and finally said "Stop both of you!" The both went to the ground and looked at Emil. Emil said to Richter "Richter What are you doing?!" Richter pulled his sword up to the cat and said "This is Marta. And she is trying to revive the daemon lord, Rataosk." Emil looked surprised and Marta said "That's not true! He's not the daemon lord. He's the lord of all monsters and your not having him." Richter looked back at Marta and snarled at her and said "Well then I'll have to take it by force then." He was about to attack until, Emil pushed him down and went to Marta and shielded her with his body. Richter got up and said "What are you doing?!" Emil looked at him feeling his body getting heavy and said "You can't go and kill people it's just wrong!" Without anyone knowing, Marta went into the other door that was closed and when she opened it they both looked at her and she looked back at Emil and said "Thank you Emil, for saving me." And with those words she went into the door and it closed. Richter ran near the door but was stopped by Emil and he said "Get out of my way!" Emil just shook his head and Richter said "I said Move!" Emil shook his head and said "You can't do this it's just wrong! Maybe if you just talk about this-" Richter's patients stopped and he said "No I must go and get her is you want to get In my way I'll just have to get rid of you! Come, Aqua!" A blue dolphin blue skin and wearing a blue dress said "Did you want me, Master Richter?" Emil looked surprised at what he had seen and said "A dolphin?" Aqua looked at Emil with an angry expression and said "I'm a Centurion, Centurion Aqua!" Richter looked at Aqua and said "Just take care of the boy but don't go and kill him ok?" Aqua shook her head and said "Yes Master Richter." And then she went from behind him and knocked him in the head which made him pass out.
Emil woke up on the ground and saw that he was at the first door that Richter told him not to open until he said so. He looked at the door and said "I'm not getting any further unless I get stronger." He looked at the ground and heard the howling again and someone said "Do you want to get stronger?" Emil looked behind him and saw that no one was there until a young dog boy with purple and black fur, pitch black eyes, and black short pants and shirts was looking at Emil and said "You, you're the one who save Marta once." Emil tilted his head and said "I did?" The young dog shook his head and said "Never mind about that you have to save her now!" Emil looked down at the ground and said "B-But I'm too weak to even get passed Aqua." The young dog looked at him and gave him a smile and said "I can help you with that. But you have to be a knight of Rataosk." Emil looked at him and shook his head and said "Ok I'll be a knight." The dog shook his head and said with dark energy coming out of him "I call upon, Lord Rataosk, that you give Emil the rights to be a Knight!" Emil felt a surge of energy coming through him and finally he felt his body get stronger. Emil had on a new black short shirt and black long pants on with a black scarf round his neck and a sheath blade behind him, he open his eyes and saw that his eyes had change from blood red to pitch yellow and said "Come one let's go Tenebrae." The dog that was named Tenebrae shook his head and followed him into the door which lead to Aqua.
