Pleasure. It consumes us. It's like a parasite. I guess that's why we prefer the more pleasurable things. But, sometimes pleasure leads us down a road. It's a strange road, a road we would have never picked. What if, pleasure made us go against our very principles? How would it change it us? I know. It's the story of my life. Most people are afraid of change. I was, as well. But, with some help, I made it through, and making it through, made the difference. Sounds like a poem I know.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-

I took the one less travelled by

And that has made all the difference

Pleasure: The story of Vladimir Drako

My name is Vladimir Drako. I was an exchange student from Germany, though I had the most natural American accent. I am a black wolf, with golden eyes. I had gone to America, to live with my grandfather, Setsuna Villio. As I got off the plane, I saw him. A rough, small, gray wolf with calming blue eyes waited for me. He welcomed me, like a lost son, and went to his car, a rusty Mustang. We got in, and drove off. As I looked around the new world, I knew this was it. I could finally start a new life. Though, I didn't know the true meaning of my thoughts, and I wouldn't, till October the 5th.

Hello, I'm writing this from the car of my Grandfather, Setsuna! I'm finally in America! Just looking around, I know I'll fit in. Though, Grandpa has warned me about the behaviors of the American people. Well, I guess I'll learn. Not everyone can perfectly find a place. We just pulled up to his house. Have to go, wish me luck!

I hopped out of the car, and looked around. I was greeted with a scene from the story books. A lush, green garden blossomed before me, with its wonderful grace, and powerful beauty. There were not many gardens where he used to live, so this was paradise. Flowers of every hue poked out from the greenery. Light trees slowly swayed in the wind. A chuckle broke my train of thought. "Impressive, isn't it?"

I turned around, to find an old bunny, standing before me. She had her curly gray hair in a bunch, which was covered in a striped cloth. She wore an apron covering a green sundress. Her spectacles couldn't even hide her piercing green eyes. "I've spent many years making it this picture perfect, and I won't stop today!" She laughed, warmly, clapping dust off her hands. She walked up to him, smiling.

"Hello, you must be Vlad. Setsuna hasn't stopped talking about you coming! I wouldn't be surprised if the night guard knew about it! Well, shoot, where are my manners? I am Elissa Cartwright, groundskeeper, and chef." I took her hand, shaking it firmly. "It's a pleasure to meet such a lively woman. You are a lot like the women back home, except most of them don't dress up." That earned another hearty laugh.

Setsuna came up. "I see you've met Elissa." I nodded, not able to help myself from smiling. "Yes, she's very friendly. I am also honored to be in the presence of such a wonderful gardener." She chuckled. "Thank you! Now, how about I cook us up some lunch?" With a chorus of nods, she headed into the house.I picked up my bags, and started towards the door. "My dear boy! Let Fenrir handle it!" A wolf came out, and picked them up. "A butler?" "Of course! Your mother didn't tell you of my wealth?" "No. But, I don't care." I grinned, running in.
