#1 of Betrayed
I must profess I was rather angry when I wrote this so the gore factor may be beyond the blue I don't know if you don't like the violence from some of my earlier stories this certainly isn't for you. Oh and on a side note if you are younger than 18 why are you on here?
Betrayed: The Lab
"Where the fuck am I?" groaned Robert
The room Robert was in was white, pure white, the door slid open
"You are here because you are the best and as the best your country has chosen you for a very special program" the scientist said his voice filled with evil intent
"Who the hell are you? And where the fuck am I?" Robert roared
"You might as well relax those bonds are stronger than steel there is no way you could break them" the scientist continued "As I said before you have been chosen and as such you will obey even if we must bind you, we will do as our country demands shouldn't you?"
"What the hell is the meaning of this? My men will destroy you!" Robert shouted
"Oh no they won't" laughed the scientist "As of yesterday you were killed by terrorists and your men mourn your death. You are officially dead and our property"
Robert continued to struggle the scientist produced a firearm and shot him, Robert looked down to find a dart sticking out of his leg.
"Sleep for now Robert when you awake I can assure not even you will recognise yourself" the scientist said and then walked out of the room
Robert struggled against the darkness clouding his vision but he could hold on no more and faded into unconsciousness. After Robert stopped moving the scientists entered the room and unstrapped his body "I can't wait to see what the radiation does to this subject, it is most fit it should survive" one of the scientists said eagerly
The scientists placed Robert in a sealed room one blackened and burned from previous disasters in the room,
"Experiment 4-11 beginning subject is Robert Grant Australian SAS commando specialist; subject has peak physical fitness and is not stricken by any disease. Radiation from the meteorite than crashed into the Earth shall be used on the subject results expected are unknown" an electronic voice said then cut out
A strange glow filled the room as the meteorite was unsealed from its casing in the wall and its glow began to pervade Robert's body moving around him and inside him changing him on a level very subtly but the change would grow with time and with time who knew what was possible.
The meteorite was resealed and the voice once again clanged across the room "Subject has not negatively responded to radiation and the second phase may begin" one of the doors opened and a scientist clad in a radiation suit strode into the room holding a syringe filled with liquid very much resembling blood. The scientist approached Robert and held out Robert's arm quickly injecting the fluid into Robert the scientist quickly retreated from the room.
"Subject has been exposed to the DNA of Canis Lupus (Grey Wolf) and the waiting period shall begin" the voice once again clanged off
The DNA of Robert's body began radically rewriting itself already some of the changes were visible and some of the scientists were afraid for if the subject could morph that fast what else might it be possible of.
"The change is surprisingly quick tell the Australians that their subject soldier will be ready for pick up in two weeks by then the changes will be complete and then we will receive our payment" the scientist said greedily
"Alright sir" said one of the armoured soldiers hollowly then marched off
By the end of the two weeks Robert finally began to come around and regain himself "Where am I?" he moaned
"You are the best of the best" said the scientist
"You!" Robert snarled then checked himself that actually was a snarl, he looked at his arms they were covered with a grey fur his teeth were sharp and pointed and his face has evolved into a muzzle.
Soldiers marched into the room and levelled their rifles at him "It would be wise not to annoy my soldiers they have itchy trigger fingers" the scientist warned
"I swear" Robert said darkly "You will live just long enough to regret this"
"Somehow I doubt that" the scientist mocked "Take him to the delivery point"
The soldiers parted at the door and marched Robert out rifles still levelled at him as he walked past the scientist he smashed out with his fist dropping the scientist to the floor leaving him moaning in pain.
One of the soldiers laughed hollowly and pressed his rifle into Robert's back "As much as I love to see someone kick his arse keep moving"
Robert walked onwards towards what he was unsure but of one thing he was sure as soon as possible he was going to kill whoever did this to him and he would do it slowly. While he was walking he tried to remember his men, he couldn't his memories were flowing from him like water from a cracked glass by the time he reached the delivery point he was empty of all memories a husk of a human or whatever he was, all that was left was a burning hatred with no target.
"So this is the Prometheus project" a decorated general appraised
"Is that what my name is?" Robert asked
The general flinched "I thought you said he would be unchanged by the process"
"The process is not perfect but you still got what you paid for, this hunter is a killing machine and he will serve your needs well" one of the scientists said
"Who am I?" Robert asked he looked at his arms "What am I?"
"You are Prometheus" the general said "and you are a killing machine who is going to kill our enemies"
Prometheus formerly Robert thought for a moment "Where are these enemies?" he asked coldly
"We will tell you that later" the general said offhandedly
Prometheus snarled "I need enemies"
The general started then spoke "I know some enemies that are nearby the building you just came from kill everyone inside"
The soldiers laughed and climbed into the truck as Prometheus walked back into the facility, Prometheus walked through the hallways killing anyone he came across using his new abilities gifted to him by the scientists' twisted lab.
One had hidden from him at the start and Prometheus had hunted him using his superior nose another had tried to shoot him by Prometheus had charged him and ripped his throat out with his teeth leaving the body behind him the blood spilling out on the floors a tremendous amount of blood but it was only the first drop compared to what was spilt by the time Prometheus left the building howling triumphantly covered foot to toe in gore.
"You have done well Prometheus" the genera; praised him "Get in and we will take you to some more enemies"
Prometheus got in licking the blood from his elegant muzzle and wiping his bloody claws on the seats, the General smiled he had gotten the prize and now he didn't even have to pay for it his day was just getting better.
The soldiers got out of the APC when they reached the military base and escorted the APC to the General's office as he got out his dismissed them and motioned for Prometheus to follow him.
"Alright Prometheus are you ready to hunt some more of our enemies" the General asked and laughed as he saw the blood lust reignite in Prometheus's eyes
"I am always ready to join the hunt" Prometheus replied darkly his eyes glinting dangerous
"We will put you two kilometres outside an enemy base and point you in their direction and let you hunt till they breathe no more" the General said
"Good let me destroy our enemies" Prometheus replied
"We have body armour to stop the enemy from shooting you do you want it?" the General asked
"Let me see it" Prometheus replied shortly
The armour was brought out and after Prometheus tried it on he removed it and tore it in half
"It'll slow me down to much" he said curtly
The General and quartermaster stood there to shocked to reply for a moment "Fine then you shall hunt as you are"
Prometheus checked his clothing to remove anything he thought as unnecessary, he removed his shirt because it constricted his movement and it was stained horribly with blood.
"I need new jungle camouflage just the shorts and boots nothing else" Prometheus said coldly the Quartermaster darted out quickly relieved to be out of the new weapon's presence
The Quartermaster tossed in the gear Prometheus requested and as he did the General spoke "There is a chance that you will find the enemy has a woman like you except she is a dragon if you find her... Kill her"
The helicopter flew over the dense jungle of Vietnam the Australians had heard that the Chinese were having expansionist dreams and had begun to move troops and tanks into North Vietnam and the Australians were determined to crush the move.
The helicopter descended and Prometheus jumped out snarling as they gave him a GPS to point the way. Prometheus took off into the thick forest and gave a loud bloodthirsty howl that sent shivers down the spine of anyone who heard it.
Prometheus found the fort that was shown on the GPS and walked up to the concrete wall, he reached out and began to scale the wall as he reached the top he found a gun barrel in his face.
Prometheus smiled as he pulled himself upright then he lashed out grabbed the man by the throat and threw the gun away "Should have shot me" he snarled before ripping the man's throat out
Prometheus walked along the wall casually killing anyone in his path bathing himself in their blood by the time he reached the stairs his chest fur was matted and sticky from the blood and all he could taste in his mouth was blood and it drove him it fuelled the hate inside of him and made him thirst all the more for blood.
Prometheus saw one of the guards on the ground look up and spot him though in the darkness the guard mistook him for a friend as Prometheus neared he sprang and tackled the man to the ground silencing with a single bite of his powerful jaws.
Prometheus continued his path of destruction gaining entry to the main complex using the dead guard's cardkey he was in and the slaughter would be complete. Prometheus strode through the halls as he strode through the labs killing anything and everything that showed signs of life he finally came to a door of reinforced steel with its hinges embedded in the walls.
Prometheus reached behind him and pulled out a key card he took from the complex's commander and swiped it in the access terminal the light blinked green and the door hissed as it swung open. Prometheus stalked through the open door and saw the dragoness he had been told to kill, she smiled at him and walked over and slammed her fist into him dropping Prometheus.
Prometheus coughed on the ground spitting up blood "You will pay for that" he snarled
"Oh come now I didn't hit you that hard I just needed you to come off the bloodlust" she told him
Prometheus checked himself the blow had severely broken two off his ribs and probably caused internal bleeding and she said she pulled the blow; Prometheus sat down heavily feeling his ribs yes two were definitely broken but there wasn't any bleeding as far as he could tell.
"Well if you pulled that blow you obviously are the superior warrior are you going to kill me?" Prometheus asked bluntly
"Of course not I want to talk to you, if you must know I don't work for the Chinese I work for the Australians" she told Prometheus primly
"The Australians?" Prometheus asked "Well I was sent by the Australians and my orders were to kill you, so obviously I can't trust them and I need to know what you know"
"It's good to see that I could bring you out of the process blood warp so easily means you are going to be incredibly strong" she told him
"Blood warp what's that?" Prometheus asked
"Well if you remember you were once human... wait you didn't know that did you?" she asked
"I was human?" Prometheus breathed out his eyes widened
"Yes we all were at one point" she said "My name is Hecate and you are?"
"Prometheus you said we, there are more?" he asked
"Yes there are the Lab created us and it is really our only hope of changing back" Hecate said
Prometheus swore loudly
"What's wrong?" Hecate asked
"Well my first mission was to kill everyone within the walls of the lab" Prometheus replied
"Shit! You can't be serious" Hecate swore "Well we might as well go tell the others"
"Where are they?" Prometheus asked
"A small village about two clicks from here" Hecate said "Oh and smash that GPS it's probably booby trapped to explode after twenty four hours or something"
Prometheus tossed the GPS to the floor "If I leave it here looks like I blew the place up" he said
Hecate laughed "Brilliant well let's go before the reinforcements show up"
Prometheus opened the gates and fled with Hecate into the forest to hide from the Chinese and the Australians, about two hours after they left the complex there was a resounding explosion that left a mushroom cloud visible for miles.
"Fuckers never wanted me to return did they?" Prometheus asked
"No mine mission was very much the same as yours but in a different country they intended for me to die but Hera saved me though the Chinese patrols nabbed me last week which is why you found me" Hecate said
Prometheus ran his tongue over his teeth and wished he hadn't after Hecate smashed some sense into him blood didn't taste very nice and he couldn't get the taste out of his mouth.
Hecate noticed his discomfort "What's the problem?" she asked
"Can't get the taste of blood out of my mouth" Prometheus said
"Eugh never like the taste of blood try this" Hecate said then leaned over and kissed Prometheus pinning his back to the tree pulling at her clothes
Prometheus smiled and let himself flow into her embrace, Prometheus subtly loosened his belt when Hecate started pulling at them he had a feeling that if he didn't she would rip them off. Prometheus wasn't far off his guess when he loosened the belt Hecate pulled his pants down in a flash.

"Yes that is an understandable view" said a gryphon
"Oh lay off her we need all the help we can get" said a snake
"Well let me introduce you to our mismatched group" Hecate said "The horse is Aries, the bear is Mars, the gryphon is Hera and the snake is Io and the new meat I bring is called Prometheus"
"Interesting who sent this one" Aries asked
"Australians and I also have some bad news, Prometheus first mission was to depopulate the Lab in Australia so that leaves the ones in South America and Antarctica" Hecate said
"Well I can put this simply, Shit" Hera said
"Well Prometheus" Mars asked "Are you with?"
"Of course" Prometheus replied
"Who were you before your change?" Io asked
"I don't know I have no memories before when I killed the Lab" Prometheus said "Do you have yours?"
"Some of them mainly where we are from and what army but we still don't know who we were, that's bad luck" Io said "I used to be British SAS, Aries used to be Delta, Mars was Delta, Hecate was Australia SAS, Hera used to be British SAS. Since the Australians sent you I'd say you were Australian SAS"
"It's just us against the world" Mars said
