The next day when Windy wakes up, she finds Demon and Angel already awake and was eating their breakfast. "Morning girls, what's up?" Angel looks up at Windy smiling while holding in her hand a doll that looked familiar to Windy. "Just eating breakfast! Demon says you'll be going on an assignment today." "Ah I see but Angel? Where on earth did you get that?" Angel looks down at the doll before answering. "I found her by the SoulTree. Why?" Windy swallows not sure if she should say anything about the doll as Demon was reading her magazine not listening and apparently didn't want anything to do with Windy's little problem at the moment.
"Well I had a doll that looked just like that when I had died. My mom made it for me on my birthday; she means a lot to me." Angel looks at Windy then at the doll before holding out the doll to Windy. Windy feels herself go numb as she waves her hands in the air. "Angel you can keep her I was just wondering I mean it would be nice to have her but if you want you can have her." Angel blinks before smiling as she holds the doll close to her warm body. "Did you hear that Mary? I can keep you!" Demon looks up for the first time since Windy came into the room looks curios but then shakes it off as a blue wind fairy comes in with a scroll in her small arms.
The fairy was wearing what appeared to be a mailman's outfit. As she gives Demon the scroll she salutes her before flying out the door. Windy runs over to the door with her eyes wide in excitement. "Is that our mail carrier? AWESOME!" Demon laughs quietly as she opens the scroll to find out their assignment. The assignment for today was an eight year old human girl who had died from starvation in a forest. The forest was located in Allegan, Michigan to which this state was much known for having a lot of forests or woodlands. The picture on the scroll showed a much wooded area that had a small lake close by. What in the world? Where's the picture of the girl's body? Oh here it is looks like she struggled trying to survive. Irk.....creepy.....so her name's Anja not a bad name. Indeed it seemed that way because of how Anja's body was sprawled on the ground with her mouth wide open and her eyes were too. Anja was wearing what seems to be a Girl Scout uniform that was covered in dirt and grime.
Demon wrinkles her nose in disgust but sees Angel trying to take a look at the picture. Demon tucks the scroll in her vest as she walks over to the door way and whistles. Angel jumps up and grabs her pilot cap and puts it on her head as she runs over to Demon's side to see that she was watching for something. "Uh Demon? Who did you whistle for exactly? A dog?" Windy then laughs at her joke as Demon doesn't answer her. Suddenly a large blue and white WindDragon and a Blaze Dragon lands in front of Demon while scaring Windy who jumps a few feet back.
The WindDragon smile showing his dazzling teeth as Windy looks at him more closely. This dragon's wings were white like his underbelly that was covered up by his outfit. The dragon's outfit was a white tank top with cameo pants and black combat boots. The fur diamond on his face was blue that trails all the way down to partial of his tail. "Rayne and Blaze! How are you two? You both look good by the way." Rayne (the blue WindDragon) laughs as he hugs Demon gently as Blaze stands by the railing while smiling. Windy looks over at Blaze to see that to her surprise that this guy was only wearing a black vest on his very muscular chest which was open showing Windy giving her an eye full. Blaze also had black horns that sat on his head with his fiery wings spread out a little. "So what's the assignment for today?" Demon smiles as she takes out the scroll that was given to her just seconds ago when another dragon jumps up from nowhere that looked just like Demon.
Windy slaps herself with her palm as the Dragon had a blond ponytail that was neatly pulled back and beside the fact that he was male not female. The Dragon walks over to Demon and lays his chin on her shoulder cutely. "Can I go? I want to know this WindDragon more." He says purring as he looks at Windy. Demon rolls her eyes as she looks back at the scroll. "Yes Ranshiin you may come too. But we need to leave now if were to find the girl in time before a SoulThief does. Come on and Angel? You go to the SoulNursery okay?" Angel's eyes widen before she starts screaming her head off. "Duo okay then stay here but stay out of trouble got me?" Angel stops crying as she nods excited. Demon nods to everyone else as they run off to meet each other at the SoulGate.
Not too long later, everyone in Demon's group made it to the SoulGate. Demon turns to everyone her long braid bouncing off her back. "Okay you ready?" Rayne smirks as Blaze says "no I need to take a pit stop I think I've got the runs." Every one bursts out laughing except Demon who shakes her head. "Guys come on now. We better get going" finally the laughter dies before everyone nods with keeping a straight face. Demon smiles as she closes her eyes as does everyone else as Demon teleports them to the forest where that one girl's body was. The forest that they were in was huge; except for the fact the trees were much smaller than those in SoulForest so this was sort of new to them. All the trees in the forest were evergreens, the kind that never changes color at all. Demon nods to their surroundings before she counts and splits up her friends into groups. "Ranshiin, Windy, and Blaze you'll be one group so then me and Rayne will be another. We'll look for the body while you look for the possession got it?" everyone nods as the group assembles and heads out.
Rayne looks around feeling uncomfortable with his surroundings. Why is it so eerie here? There are no animals running about....not even a squirrel. This is very weird I hope Demon knows-Ack! What am I saying? She knows what's going on. I trust her....Don't I? Rayne watches Demon go towards a tree and look around before Rayne takes a deep breath and says "Demon? I wanted to ask you something um' he clears his throat. "Do you like me?" Demon stops walking as she looks back at him. "Why do you ask?" "Well I-I was just wondering." Demon doesn't answer as she charges off into the trees with Rayne far behind her. Damn she can move quick! Rayne pushes more into his muscles as he gained some distance between him and Demon.
Demon stops about ten feet from the lake before she smells the air. What is that stench? It smells of something rotting and something that hasn't bathe in years. Ugh nasty, well we better find the girl before I throw up. Demon looks around wearily as Rayne Finally catches up and looks around as his nose wrinkles up. "Ewww what is that smell?" "I don't know but check the stump over there would you?" Rayne nods and walks over while taking his knife out in case if there might be danger as he looks at the rotten stump. Demon watches Rayne look it over not knowing that something was coming out of the lake and was making its way to Demon.
Meanwhile with the other group....
"WHAT THE HELL!!!!" Blaze yells out making birds take flight in fright of the dragon. They said they would only be gone for five minutes to use the bathroom when it's been an hour! I probably better look for them because a bear might have gotten them or maybe worse a pack of SoulThieves. Blaze looks around trying to figure out where Windy and Ranshiin had gone. With Ranshiin and Windy these two were making out against a tree forgetting about poor old Blaze who was now pissed off and was trying to find them. Windy giggles as Ranshiin tickles her neck with his tongue that sent a shiver through his body. Windy looks at him as she whispers. "I love you Ranshiin and always will." "Same with you Windy." The two smile before going back to their kissing as their tails wrap around each other.
I give up! There's just too much woods to cover._Blaze sits down but gets a surprise when he feels something stab his butt and jumps up howling in pain to only find that he had sat on what appeared to be a cactus. Blaze curses under his breath until he sees the cactus and sees it glowing with not only some of his blood but a light surrounds it. Blaze blinks before taking it and sees a girl's face come up smiling. Blaze stands there stunned as he stares at the girl that happened to be in the cactus now. _Whoa! That was neat now to find those numbskulls, and maybe knock some sense into their heads. Blaze quickly heads off to go find his other two friends.
Back with Demon and Rayne....
Rayne had just found the girl's limp body when he hears an ear piercing scream. Demon! Rayne turns around in time to see Demon getting dragged into the lake by these snakes like things that grip her legs. Rayne didn't waste time as he jumps up and runs over to save his love but as he grabs her he's dragged in too. Damn what can I do? They'll kill me! Rayne looks over to see a large tadpole type thing that had legs and arms with a large coin like mouth. Rayne bares his teeth as he takes his knife and stabs it hard in its chest making blood covering both him and Demon from view. Rayne grabs demon and takes her up to the surface where he does CPR. After getting Demon on land and doing CPR, Demon finally comes around while smiling and kisses him. Rayne blushes but then kisses back as the other group watches in disgust.
Later that night....
Demon giggles in her bed as Rayne kisses her neck lovingly. They had gotten back with the girl and told the seven priests what had happened after Anja was sent to heaven. At first they didn't believe Demon and Rayne but after thinking it over they simply told them to be more careful next time and if that were to happen again was to let them know right away. But after that Demon became more attracted to Rayne than anything else and asked him to live with her. He says "yes" to that and well here they are now snuggled close. Rayne smiles as he holds Demon closer to him. "Wanna have some fun?" Demon giggles as she pulls his naked body close to her own. "Yes but do me hard."
