This story takes place, three months after Joe's wedding.
Joe wakes up, feels a swollen abdomen in the middle of his back. He gains his sense's, it
his wife Shelly. He recounts the events in the last three and half months. He was once a 35-
year-old male human. Living in a RV in a trailer park, single. Dating a beautiful 38-year-old

Joe turned his head and looked at his wife. She was still asleep, he got up and got dressed.

"I am wondering why the federal government is just letting them do this?" Joe looked at
his wife.
"I talked to some people. They got their hands tied. The armed forces by the presidents
order is set-up for defense only. How will it look on the news for us attacking our own cities?

two guns." she looks at her husband.
"There goes my fishing trip this summer." As he fixes breakfast.
"Joe you can still go on your fishing trip, but you just got to buy a fishing license for East
Washington." She sits down and watches Joe fixes breakfast.

having contractions. Samantha walked to her desk to call an aid car, and then pushed a button

"Joe! Your wife's in labor, there taking her to the hospital right now!" John yelled. Joe was
under a truck doing an inspection. Joe got out from under the truck, removed his coveralls and
went to his truck. He drove to the hospital.
Shelly was in the delivery room, when Joe got to the hospital. He was put in one of those
outfits. He walked in. Shelly's legs were up. He watched as the first infant came out. The
infant had the same coloring as him. It was a girl. The girl had the same brown, black and
tan coloring with white as him. She had very dark brown hair like he had when he was
human. She a patch of blonde hair in front, where her hair starts. "Can I see her?" Shelly
asked. She looked at her daughter. "I am naming her Nancy."
Mary walked in, at that time the second infant started to come out. This infant was larger.
It was tri-colored. Like the mother, it was a boy. "I am naming him Mike." Said Shelly.
"Rest now, dear niece you had quite a day." Mary took a damp towel and wiped Shelly's
face. She looked at the two infants, and looked at Joe, She smiled.
Joe and Mary talked for a few minutes, than said their goodbyes. Mary said, that she will
stop by tomorrow to check on her niece. Joe stayed late as he was allowed, then drove home.
The house seam so large and quiet without Shelly, he went and lay on the bed. He felt lonely.

going to talk to Shelly about it, I think she might let you do it. You fly us on Friday night and
you will be back home by 4:00 Saturday afternoon." She looked at Joe.
"Sure no problem, I'll do it. You help out me and Shelly, I won't mind giving you a hand."
Joe replied.
"Thank you Joe don't worry about the fuel for your plane, I'll buy it and help out on
keeping your airplane maintained." Joe shook Mary's hand and got out of the truck.
