This is based off of a dream I had last night

The Dream

***

I woke up this morning the usual way, dragging my lazy ass out of bed. Heading down to the kitchen to find something to fix for breakfast, Medicine was not a issue that day for some odd reason. The kitchen seemed a tad denser, yet spacey. First of all, I noticed that the kitchen sink was full of filthy dishes, what was even more odd was that it was mostly Silverware, Not a single dish. Last time I checked, There was 3 cups, a plate, and five forks in there. Why the change all the Sudden?

I decided not to bother with that, but once I got one thing out of my head, another came in. I looked around, no one was home, whilst no one was home usually, the house felt dead, like that feeling when ever the power goes out, absolute silence. Leaving it at that, I threw on some clothes and headed outside

I had not even made it past the garage before I was grabbed by the scruff of my neck, I looked up, and was staring into the eyes of a six foot statue of a man. He told me he was my coach but he seemed more like a drill sergeant, I found him screaming into my ears.

"YOUR TWO HOURS LATE!! GET YOU HEAD IN THE GAME BOY!!!!" His voiced roared into my ear, and at that he gave me a swift kick in the rear and told me to go do my jogs.

That prompted me to bolt off in the direction of the driveway, I felt that I never ran so fast. Yet looking behind and shocked as I saw the Coach was hot on my heels, quickly caught up to me, just screaming "FASTER FASTER!!"

Halfway down the street, the Coach calmed down somewhat, actually trying to hold a conversation with me, yet my replies seemed to fall on deaf ears. I ran for three hours, yet it only felt like five minutes.

Eventually I stopped at the end of the street, where a house used to be, there was a basketball court filling my view instead. It looked as if someone literally ripped up the earth and stuck it in.

The Coach told me to take a break, saying "Go take a break, good jog." Which surprised me due to his semi constant screaming.

Only one person was on the court, yet he made it appear that he was on a full team, just with the way he was moving. He took a glance at me and spoke, "care to play?"

I simply just shook my head and said "No thanks" in reply, just settling down in the corner, letting a tear roll down my face, I didn't know what the fuck was going on. This was not the same place that I was yesterday. I just laid out in the corner and contemplated over what was happening, nothing added up. Family was gone, forced to exercise by a person whom I've never seen before, and seemed like the odd one out of everyone. Yet I felt good, like I could walk through fire.

I got up, wiping the tears from my eyes, looking up, it was only high noon. So I decided to walk home, not really caring as to what other oddities to feast upon, like the fact that my backyard dropped off of a cliff, just from the view across the way, I knew that it was a major drop.

I head upstairs, starting to laugh maniacally, the crazy world seeming to infect me now. Taking out a pen and paper writing a note. Which read as follows.

Dear whomever this concerns,

I have not gone to the edge of the abyss, I have gone to free myself, and freedom I shall achieve. Do not try to stop as I will not be found.

With that, I set down the paper, wincing a bit as it slices the skin a bit in a paper cut, not finding it as unusual, I smear a blood on the bottom of the paper to wipe the wound clean.

Placing the paper on the paper on the table, I head downstairs, finding a hammer in the closet. Wielding it like a samurai warrior, smashing the walls in, knocking the cabinets off the hinges. Not even deciding to open the door, just jumping through the glass door.

I raise my cut and sliced body from the ground, not even caring about the cuts. Or the fact that my clavicle was broken, I felt like I could take on anything!

Across the yard, My eyes fixated on the cliff, appearing to call my name. Subconsciously I heard a cap gun fire off, and dashed off towards the gaping drop, with a maddening leap and a yell, launching myself over the edge and plummeting down. Heart racing, eyes drying out from the increasing speed, finally hitting the ground in a deathly impact, my vision going to darkness.

In the Darkness of my mind I heard a beeping, my eyes opening up. Staring at the ceiling of my room, dragging my lazy ass out of bed and heading down stairs to the kitchen, taking notice that the sink was full of silverware...
