Crystal looked at Rodo with a look of pure sadness. "Why are you breaking up with me?" she asked with a distressed voice. Rodo just looked down and mumbled that he could no longer be with her. She found herself judging Zero, not just by his politeness but he didn't look half bad either. He looked a lot better than Rodo did, and he already seemed like twice the gentleman. She found herself wanting to get to know Zero a little better. "So what brings you to the park Zero?" she asks him as she finds herself moving a little closer to him. "I thought I'd just go for a walk today." They start to walk together and Zero's paw moves to her back and rubs it softly. He quickly retracts his paw. "It's okay Zero, I don't mind now, I was just a little edgy at first and didn't know you." His paw goes back to her back and rubs it lovingly as they walk. "So Zero, would you like to come over to my place tonight, maybe we could spend some time together and get to know each other a little better." "I would love to come over Crystal, when and where do I need to come over?" She writes down her number and address for him from a piece of paper from her notebook she always carries with her. "Do you write Crystal?" he asks curiously. "Yes it's how I make a living. Be at that address at 7:30, and please don't overdress. On second thought come as you please, I shouldn't be telling you how you have to dress." She says with a giggle. He smiles warmly. "Okay I won't overdress."
Crystal finds herself becoming more and more excited as the clock gets closer to 7:30. Zero gets the 2 gifts he got for her, one of them being a dozen roses the other he stuffs into his pocket before leaving. He takes a cab to the address she told him to be at. On the way there the cab gets caught in traffic. "I hope she will accept my tardiness." He thinks to himself. She walks off her tail flicking side to side as she walks leaving Zero in the foyer of her house. He watches her tail as it flicks then walks around the house.
