Fire, water, earth, air I CAN control every single one but what does this mean..this profound power I now possess. Controlling fire well let's just say it's harder than you think.
It was a hard friendship fire..Burning uncontrollably, hot like volcano lava it took me 3 weeks to control that lively element. Now I have the power to stop burning buildings in its tracts, burn down a forest to help newer healthier trees grow, to set a house on fire trying to make a healthy meal to support myself.
Now water, that's a completely different story, so beautiful and clear the water is, it was a lovely spirit and it let me control it in a matter of ten seconds. First, I made the clear flowing water fly in a small whirlpool out of the river bed, than I stretched it to its limits making all sorts of magnificent patterns.
Earth, ah earth how I remember the smell of sweet flowers and wheat from a breath taking yellow field, earth was not so challenging first to calm its rambunctious soul I drew three circles in the ground and I said "heal thee soil, heal thee, calm thee soul and bring friendship".
The ground opened up like it was opening a gate to the heart, wider and wider it went until I saw a spring and it spoke to me not through the feel of my bare feet touching soft fresh soil nor the spring rippling from the slight draft but the whispers of the whole earth around my delicate body.
Let me see if I remember clearly, air that's it, well there's a slight problem air has tricks ways to think it takes your friendship to heart than when you need it most it completely ignores you but it always brings the scent of him the one unknown to me.
Now, shall I continue and speak my name and who I am actually. Well, my name is Aurora Ripple, I am an angel who got cast out from my family years ago, I have great mighty sunset coloured wings, my red rose hair is wavy and has a tinge of blue to it, I have high cheek bones which makes me look older then I really am. My light delicate features make me look small and vulnerable but actually I'm quiet tough for my race.
Long elegant legs to help me take off in stormy weather, long lean muscularly arms help me balance in the air and help move faster or slower when I'm soaring. The scent of the one unknown gives me shivers down my spine; I don't understand the sensation that comes over me when I smell it. It smells of pine, and rain it reminds me of a mighty rainforest strong and can take anything on.
If only I had the strength to break this spell that binds me to this rich land. My wish no my ultimate goal in this boring life is to try and use my beloved elements to help me get through this awful bind. My feelings will stay the same until I meet this mystery thing, until I plant my feet on new earth and taste different foods then just this tropical fruit. Now time to work with air and see if I can break the spell.
"Air, come to me, cleanse my soul and help me break this bind to this land where they dropped me". No small breeze and i don't hear the trees swishing either, dammit why won't you listen to me? I can control every single element besides you and I DO NOT understand I practically scream in my head why are you so different from the others if you don't help me I will never get off this terrible island.
I will try again "Fire, come to me, burn this bind to this island with all your might, Water, come to me, cool and wash the tension from my body help me think clearly, Earth, come to me, send delicate waves through the soil try to unravel the mysteries of this bind".
Now air "Air, come to my aid, cleanse my soul and help me break this bond to this land where they dropped me, UNLEASH"! I scream out loud, I feel fire working its magic, water swirling around my feet, earth traveling up and down my naked body searching for a way to break the bind, and air blowing through my red hair sending cold shivers all over my bare body.
I might do it this time, I might just do it, and I feel different. Now Aurora you can do this spread those wings and see if you can fly farther then you usually can. The wind ruffles my feathers as I go into a light quick jog than a full on fast run, there is the edge of this island. I am going to jump, now Aurora deep breaths remember, and i fling my body off this edge and i dive until i open my wings and the wind catches them right away sending me to fly up inches from touching the sea and soaring into the clear blue sky.
I bring my wings back just so I can get enough air speed, the air currents whip around my whole body creating a tornado. Come on Aurora you need to get faster I mentally tell myself, and I dive going faster than I shoot up and right through the barrier that has been keeping me captive for all this time. I scream "woooooohooooo" and I fly around happily in the sky like a baby bird who just found out that it can actually fly.
I look at my island imagining that if I haven't actually broken the barrier I would have been on the island still trying to break the bind. I sigh pleasantly what more could I ask for? I finally broke free of that bind and now I can find the one that has been attracting me by its scent.
Ok, Aurora calm down go back to the island and gather everything you need for a very long travel and don't forget to bring the cloud so when you need to rest you won't need to find a rock. I smile to myself glad that I have an inner voice, I gently flap my wings although not very excited to go back to the island that I just broke out of.
I fly to my cave and start to pack tons of food and the cloud, tools just in case I need to get some fish, and what else? Hmm oh yes I can't forget this I reach over to where my bed was and I pick up my pearl necklace. It's very valuable and there are about seven pearls in it. I look around making sure I didn't forget anything once I was pleased I walk out of the cave and took flight, I am glad I won't ever be coming back here again.
