A New World. Chapter 8. Battle And A New Friend
Hey Im back! Here is Chapter 8 of A New World.
As We were walking all the way to Jubilife City I tried to start up a conversation. "Derrick. What do you think of Sinnoh?" I asked. "Its actually pretty cool. I kinda like it." Derrick replied. "What do you think of this place Lucario?" I asked. "What place? Oh this place. Ya I think its pretty cool." Lucario replied.
As We were walking someone yelled out "Hey! You wanna battle!? Best out of three. The winner gets 5000 dollars. so are You up to it!?" We turn around and see a kid who was wearing a Black hoodie that was half zipped up and some baggy blue jeans. He looked like he was about 10 to 12 years old.
I look at Derrick and say. "If We can beat this kid We can get enough money to stay in a hotel." I said. "Umm... actually I have never been in a battle before." Derrick said. "Its pretty easy. all you pretty much need to do is just shout out cammands and your pokemon will follow them. Just do what I do. O.K." I told Him.
"Are you gonna battle or not!?" The kid shouted getting impatiant. "Ya We will." I told Him. "Alright. Rhyhorn! I choose you!" He yelled. "Alright I will take care of this just to show You how to battle." Lucario You wanna fight Him?" He nodded at Me and took a step forward.
"Alright I will Make the first move. Rhyhorn use tackle!" Rhyhorn started charging at Lucario and I yelled "Lucario dodge and use Bone Rush!" He did a flip over Rhyhorn and put His paws together and slowly pushed them apart making a giant blueish green bone. He ran up to Rhyhorn and hit Him across the face causing Him to fall down. "Come on rhyhorn! Get back up! Rhyhorn slowly got back up and the kid yelled alright use stomp!" Rhyhorn ran at lucario and pinned Him underneath its giant foot. "Oh shit!" I thought to myself. Lucario use aura sphear! I called out. Lucario then tried to put His paws together on its stomach andmade a blue ball of energy which then was shot at Rhyhorn and made a big explosion.
When the dust cleared We saw Lucario lying down in pain and Rhyhorn lying against a fallen tree. I rushed over to Lucario and returned Him to His pokeball and said Hey Derrick. You want to give this a try? I asked. "Umm. O.K. Weaville I choose You." Derrick yelled. Weaville stepped forward. "O.K. Charizard I choose you!." He threw the pokeball up in the air and it released charizard.
"You can go first this time." He said. "Alright. Weaville use metal claw! Derrick shouted. Weaville ran to charizard and slashed Him across the stomach. "Oh shit! The kid thought to Himself. "Use flamethrower!" The kid yelled. "Dodge it and counter with another metal claw!" Derrick yelled. Charizard shot a flame from His mouth and it Missed by an inch. Weaville slid underneath the flame and slashed Him in the stomach again. Charizard then fell over and was knocked out.
"Damn it! good fight both of you! My name is Erick by the way. Whats yours?" The kid said returning charizard to His pokeball. "Im sawyer and this is Derrick." I said. "Hey do you know were a pokecenter is?" I asked. Ya just follow Me. He said. We followed Him down the road to a pokecenter where we ran in and Erick Yelled. "Nurse Joy. Our pokemon need some medical attention."
