Heh, I, uhmm, don't really know how to start one of these things, seeing as its my first journal. So, i suppose I'll just start with me. My name's Caylen, I'm a fennec, 16 years old, and well, I'm gay =3. Yes, that means I like other males...hmm, I guess I should write about how I came upon this realization, huh? Well, it was last semester at school, outside of the preforming arts centre during a choir concert. I had walked outside because my tux was starting to get my fur all ruffled and messed up =/. I was surprised to see my friend Elliott, a handsome gray wolf with the voice of a god. He was outside in the brisk winter night, singing as he did. I joined him, and when we finished the song, I sat next to him when our tailes swished and met, getting all tangled up and causing an embarrasingly hot moment. I don't even think he knows I like him (wheew), but its not as if it matters, anyways, mostly 'cause I'm pretty sure he's straight...Secondly because I know he's waaaaay outta my league....i mean, I come nowhere near him in talent when I sing, I mean, sure, we're both in the top choir at school, but he's just so much more amazing. heheh, I'd love to-- OH! he's looking right at me....maybe school isn't the best place to write this...oh well. I'll write here again soon.

Caylen~

I closed my notebook just in time for Elliott to not have seen my writing in it. He smiled "Hey, what do have there? More Poems?"

I answered "No, not this time."

He looked a little dissapointed. "Aww, I like reading your poems, they're nice."

My heart jumped. I managed to let out a stuttered "R-Really?" Although I couldn't see it, I knew I was blushing under my fur, and I think he knew too, because instead of blushing or making a weird noise like somefurs do, I fold my ears back a little. We smiled at eachother for what seemed to be an eternity until the bell rang and we had to go to class. "Man, why can't I just tell him....Why can't I just say 'hey, ummm, I like you.'" My thoughts always race like that after we talk, ever since he told me that he was open in his sexuality. "Maybe next time." I sighed. I tucked my notebook into my pack, and went off to class, tail swiching side to side, as I normaly have it do.
