"I don't understand what the big deal is. It's a star," Said Kyten as he looked up to the night sky next to Irvine and Witch.

Witch shook his head as he put a hand on Irvine's shoulder speaking softly, "Each star in the sky is another world Kyten. They are falling to the darkness and... oh dear..."

Irvine looked up as his eyes went wide and he shook his head as one of the stars began to twinkle. He took a few moments to make sure he was right in his belief before he spoke, "We are moving. Kyten you have to come with us. There's no telling what could happen if we left you hear on your own and that monster came out."

Kyten looked to his two companions and shook his head, "Moving? Where are we going? I just want to go home guys."

The siren nodded slowly as he spoke, "I understand your desire to see your home Kyten dear but there is no way for us to just let you go now. You have a deep darkness in your heart that summoned that monster... You are a danger to yourself and others. I suspect he's looking for you..."

The human looked down at his hands again as the words stuck in his mind. He was a dangerous person now. He felt fear welling up inside again as something squirmed. He clenched his teeth as he started to breathe fast hearing the words in his head again, "Give into the power. Feel the might of the darkness flowing through your veins. With its power you are invincible!"

Kyten looked up as his eyes were starting to go black where the white should be. Falling to his knees he let out an inhuman howl as he felt the blade burn against his cheek. Looking up he saw Witch holding the harp like keyblade against him with a frown, "It is not your fault what you are Kyten... but we will strike you down if we have to."

The blade sizzled and seared the flesh of his cheek making him cry out in pain as the black disappeared from his eyes.

Irvine helped Kyten up as he shook his head, "Kid you got dealt a bad hand. I'm sorry."

Witch floated towards the two before taking Kyten's hand in his own and nodded, "There is no avoiding this. You need help containing the darkness... this will hurt."

Kyten's eyes went wide as the light appeared in Witch's hand and the black and red keyblade appeared. He let out a howl as his insides churched and he could have sworn he heard something inside him screaming. The pain was intense as he touched the hilt making witch have to shout his words.

"In your hand take this key! So long as you have the makings, then through this simple act of taking, it's wielder you shall be and you will find me friend. No ocean will contain you then. No more borders around or below or above. So long as you champion the ones you love. "

Intense light surrounded Kyten again and as he opened his eyes he saw he was falling through the darkness again. Looking down he saw the lit and shattered platform mended though the center had a large crack. The far side was dark and pooled with a blackness that seemed impenetrable.

Landing on the glass Kyten began to pant heavily again as the darkness began to swirl into a huge monstrosity in a black robe. Leaning down he could hear it laugh as it reached for him. The human stumbled backwards putting his hands up to block the creature while looking away in fear.

The creature howled and recoiled as Kyten felt something heavy in his hands. Opening his eyes and looking forward he saw a blade had been placed in his hands. Its length looked much like the crack in the center of the stained glass with one side white and the other black while at the tip a broken heart served as the key's head.

Kyten stood as the voice returned booming in his head with its words, "Your fears you will face and through them you will be forged anew. No longer broken but whole again."

The human spun the blade in his hand before taking up a stance in front of the massive avatar of the Crusader making it laugh. It was then the serpent returned appearing in the heartless commander's hands crying out in agony as he twisted its length. Kyten fell to his knees holding his chest as he shook his head.

"leave it alone," panted the keyblade warrior as he held himself up with the blade in the ground.

"what was that whelp?"

Kyten grit his teeth and got to his feet pointing the keyblade with both hands towards the man in the black robe as he shouted, "I said LEAVE IT ALONE!"

Light traveled around the key before firing a thin beam blasting the Crusader in the wrists causing him to drop the serpent which quickly slithered its way to Kyten coiling behind him afraid of the monster. Kyten looked over his shoulder and nodded slowly, "You've done enough... I won't let you hurt my friends anymore."

"You embrace a creature of the darkness and you believe you can see me as wrong. Such hypocrisy keyblade wielder," shouted the Crusader as he threw out his arm brandishing his own blade. In an instant he was on Kyten swinging at impossible speeds. All the human could do was defend himself keeping the blade in front of him to block the attacks.

"You are wrong! The creature may be of the darkness but he is not a herald of evil! He only wished to protect me," Shouted Kyten as he finally saw an opportunity to strike. The crusader's keyblade swing wide giving Kyten a chance to smash his blade into it and knock the Crusader off balance. He stumbled back only to cry out in pain as the human's blade ran him through.

The man in black laughed slightly as his hood fell back showing Kyten's own face looking at him. It grinned showing yellowed and broken teeth while its eyes were completely black, "This isn't over... It's only the beginning."

The stained glass shifted under Kyten's feet and the other side that was once black lit up showing a dark copy of himself sleeping much like the one on the light side. The serpent entwined around the crack as if holding the platform together appeared to walk the line between the light and the darkness.

"The broken shall protect you warrior of twilight's call. With their help you will not fall."

Kyten gasped loudly as he was helped to his feet by Irvine. Looking around he had to let his eyes adjust as they had been completely dilated. Blinking a few times the human looked down to see the blade still in his hand. He griped the hilt tightly before looking to Witch with a nod, "Th...thank you."

Witch nodded slowly to the man from Tanyo and smiled, "I didn't think it would work but it appears the keyblade has chosen you. An interesting design I must say."

"There's no time to admire it Witch we gotta go," Said Irvine as he threw out his arm and his keyblade appeared. Its design was a twist of white and gold while where the two met there were blue gems. The whole thing had a sort of seraphic look to it with wing accents. It was almost what one would expect an angel to wield in battle.

With one smooth motion the wolf threw his keyblade forward and leaping towards it he was covered in a suit or armor. The armor seemed to hold his form tightly as it seemed to be perfectly formed for just him while large bladelike spikes came off the back of the helmet and at the shoulders.

Witch was soon to follow tossing his own keyblade he was covered in a bubble of sorts allowing him the same agility and speed in the air that Kyten had witnessed in the water before. Witch's keyblade came back first as a harp he held tightly to himself while Irvine's was a sort of hovering board.

Irvine swung about grabbing Kyten's arm and with the momentum was able to toss the human onto the back of his craft, "Hold on Kyten. We're about to break the barrier."

Witch was kind enough to take the brunt of the force breaking through to the space between worlds first allowing Irvine and Kyten to glide through without a problem as they were quickly on their way to the twinkling star in the distance.

The trip was uneventful leaving Both Witch and Irvine with a relieved look on their faces as they reached the orbit of the world below. It was then they saw the darkness swarming around a mountain range near a large desert. Irvine nodded slowly to Witch as he shouted, "It's Nibel. Ivellios and Shino are living there I'm sure they will know what's going on. Best get you some legs though."

Witch nodded slowly as he played a few notes on his harp. White light enveloped the Siren and when it faded a white fennec with pink eyes was floating in the bubble. Kyten quirked a brow confused as the fennec was wearing a rather tight fitting purple dress with a slit over the right leg being the only thing that really allowed movement.

Irvine chuckled slightly with a nod, "It's good to see you again Raine."

Reaching into the dress the fennec pulled a rather large six shooter free and nodded, "Well let's get down there and see what all the ruckus is about."
