Thanks for the comments and advice, I'll definitely try to make my chapters longer, but also because I think that I tend to cram too much information and description into each paragraph I'll try to simplify things so that the flow is easier. :) Oh BTW, I do not own Zoroark, and copy right this blah, blah, blah, you get the point. Enjoy!

Chapter 3

The morning routine now complete, Hiranose and Shinaji, talking about how Laurran and Kenshi were a more reliable way to know what time it was than an alarm clock, made their way to the dining room and left their brother and sister to pry themselves from the wall,

In the dining room Toshinamase, or Toshi as Sherro and his family called him, was already up making breakfast. The wolf had been both a bodyguard and friend of Sherro for little over seventy years (in case you're wondering why both Sherro and toshi aren't piles of bones in the dirt is because the average lifespan of a Persian is about 350 years) but Toshi really had always been more than a friend and bodyguard to the royal family, he was also a cook, nanny, and somewhat like a second father to Kenshi and the others. But when you say "nanny" it's sort of meant like a nanny that can give you advice and take care of others as well as cook a mean meal as well as kill you with a pinky finger and a spoon.

Noticing Hiranose and Shinaji walking in and sitting down at the table, "Kenshi and Laurran already up?" asked Toshi as he looked up from the stovetop while scraping scrambled eggs on six plates next to the bacon and toast. "Yep, they should have managed to get themselves off out the walls about..." Shinaji said while reaching for a glass of orange juice. "Now," Hiranose finished as dull thumps and grunts reached them from down the hall. "You're really getting good at those you know, now maybe you can find a better use for them than slamming your siblings into the walls." Toshi laughed as he grabbed the plates and started placing them around the table as Kenshi and Laurran limped in groaning about how using kekkai on them wasn't fair and that the design of them plastered in the walls was starting to look rather good. Now that almost everyone was here Toshi headed out the dining room yelled down the hall towards his and Sherro's rooms. "Sherro! Get your lazy cat, ass out of bed and in here, breakfast is starting to get cold." A grumbled reply came from further down the hall and a door slid open and out stepped a lion dressed in faded green sweats and a rumpled tank top, his one side of his golden bronze fur matted from being pressed down against the bed. His mane, cherry red with slightly golden-yellow highlights was utter plastered against his face looking like a massive hair ball made his way towards the rest, bumping into walls and slightly tripping. As Sherro finally made it to the dining room and sat down with the rest, Toshi handed him his plate and sat down to his own. He couldn't help but look around and say "What the hell is up with this family and sweat pants? Out of an entire wardrobe of the finest garments and stuff you guys wear sweats and t-shirts like its required attire." Kenshi, Sherro, and the others couldn't help but look around and notice that Toshi was right, when at home or even when walking down the streets with friends they seemed to wear sweats all the time. "We really don't know why but, there just comfortable and just seem right to wear." Said Kenshi, while nervously eyeing his sister across the table, making sure nothing important was lined up with her feet. With breakfast over, Toshi cleared the table and got ready for the day Sherro went back to his room to prepare for another boring day of reading proposals, listening to foreign dignitaries, sitting in on meetings and going through the rest of the boring crap at the palace.

In the throne room at the palace...

Tomanashiburama, or Tom as Sherro and his family called him was slumped in the throne, his fingers drumming on the arm as he pondered why his fate was playing high advisor to some moron like Sherro and his brood. Tom was the son of some disgraced noble back in the old days, while Tom's father was said to be a great and powerful warrior, Tom himself was nowhere near the strength of his father. He used deception and low tricks to get things to go in his direction. Which is exactly what he's been doing for the past thirty years, gathering a secret mass of supporters as well as supplying and training them in forbidden arts for the future when he would be king. For now that all the pawns were in place Tom decided that it was time to put his plan into action and take the throne and become the rightful king of Persia.

At the palace gates...

Sherro, now dressed in his royal attire, golden-red silk robes lined with jade green over his armor (samurai style) which was cherry-gold to complement his now groomed mane. Made his way up the palace steps along with his close-as-a-shadow bodyguard Toshi. Sherro, returning small bows and pleasantries to dignitaries and workers alike, made his way to the throne room were upon opening the doors saw a surprising sight, Tom sitting in his throne, eyes closed lost in thought. Thinking to teach him a lesson, Sherro motioned Toshi to stay quiet and follow him as they stepped back into the shadows and vanished. Only to reappear stepping from in back of the throne, where Sherro put a finger to his lips to shush the stifled laughs of Toshi as Sherro whispered "Dosing off your Highness?" into Tom's ear. The tiger yelled and jumped up in fright and seemed to nearly vanish as he appeared a few feet away from the throne his hand clutching his chest and heaving like about to pass out. "Y-y Your Majesty, I-I I was merely dusting the throne off and must have gotten tired and fell asleep, please forgive me!!" was all that Tom could manage, but Sherro and Toshi were near tears, holding onto the throne for support "Oh God, your face was priceless...oh God, I can't breathe!" managed Sherro through his laughing fit. After Tom quickly apologized a few more times he quickly left the two laughing their asses off and went back to his quarters to plan his next step that would put his plan into action.

At the Musashi Institute for the Gifted...

While their father was at the palace Kenshi, Laurran, Hiranose, and Shinaji were at school, and when your royalty it kind of makes school a bit awkward when you have teachers bowing at your feet. But since they've been going to school here for so many years the student body and teachers have gotten use to it and don't bother bowing anymore, because to them they're just students like everyone else. Except other students don't have a bodyguard, all of them, Kenshi, Laurran, Hiranose, and Shinaji all have a bodyguard they already know, Toshi. Talk about a super-nanny, Toshi has a shadow clone follow each of them so he doesn't have to leave Sherrro unattended so he can keep him in line. But unfortunately Kenshi and the others all by far, surpass Toshi's clones and often leave them wondering to each other where they went. By far, Kenshi is the easiest by far to find if they bothered looking hard enough. After his classes Kenshi likes to lay back and rest in his favorite tree with his long-time friend Benaji, a Zoroark. Benaji looked like a zoroark but she had more raw power and talent than many others attending the school. But like Kenshi, Benaji was laid back and just liked to lounge with friends in the shade while resting and talking about whatever came to mind. But what she was hiding was that for over the past few years is that her love for Kenshi has continued to grow up until the point that if he were to leave it would feel like she would drown without his support and care. But Kenshi, like most guys, tends to be oblivious to the signs around him, and seems like that with a number of the girls in the school that just flat out flirted with him. Speaking of which, "Hiya Kenshi, watcha doin'?" said a very pretty fox walking up to them. She was twirling the fur of her tail around her finger and doing her best to look innocent. Benaji scrunched up her face like she smelled something foul, I think I'm gonna be sick, come on Kenshi you've got to see that she wants you real bad. Benaji thought, looking up at Kenshi who yawned and opened up one eye to look down at the fox with a slightly uninterested look on his face. "Nothing much, just relaxing till next the school lets out." He said while stretching. The fox, excited that she got him to even speak in the first place put the flirting into overdrive, twirling her fur in her fingers she slightly turned around so that her back was to them them slightly twisted around to show her ears back eyes big, the classic puppy-dog face in overdrive she told Kenshi that her parents were going to be out of town for a couple of days and that she was having a party at her house and was wondering if he wanted to come by. After yawning again Kenshi sat up and told her that he was sorry but he promised Benaji that they would be studying at her place for the exams next week. The fox's face went from uber puppy-dog to surprised that she had been turned down. Every guy she did that face on melted in her hands like putty, she pouted and stormed off muttering about Kenshi being as dumb as a bag of rocks and just as heartless. Hearing this Kenshi looked down at Benaji and shrugged his shoulders before settling back down, while Benaji was having trouble not bursting out laughing at his lack of finesse with the opposite sex. But that was one of the reasons that Benaji liked him, he always cut straight to the point and told you what he thought, and with that, Benaji sighed and settled back and drifted to sleep not knowing what chaos would await her, Kenshi, and the others just down the road.
