Alex smiled, humming to himself as he looked into the mirror. Tonight was a special night for the red fox. He made sure his hair was just right straightened his collar... a black dog collar to be specific. He was also wearing boots, leather pants and no shirt. Tonight was the 2 year anniversary with his boy friend Snow, and he was going to surprise him the moment he got off of work. Only trouble... well Snow was a male stripper at a local gay bar. Alex didn't mind. He knew Snow was a boy with a lot of love to give. He was an entertainer and liked to make people happy, in one way or another. It just meant that Alex would need to dress the part to get in the club before changing for their diner tonight.

He stopped for a moment seeing a flash of light behind him and turned to see it was light reflecting off of a medieval knight's helmet mounted on their wall. Alex smiled as he remembered why he bought it. He had once worked in an antique shop. Snow had come in looking for a gift for his old boyfriend and the helmet fell off the wall, hitting him on the head. This was how the 2 first met. A month later, Alex went and bought the helmet himself, sure that it must be good luck if it brought him to his love. He let out a small chuckle and rubbed the spot that had been indented by Snow's head for a little luck tonight before heading out the door.

Across town the lights flashed and the music pulsed inside the night club "high tails". The pink furred arctic fox on the stage in just pink hot pants danced for all he was worth, the song "take it off" by Ke$ha playing loudly as he showed off his plump ass to the boys all around. He was one of the more popular dancers, partly for choosing a friend to play with after each show, sometimes turning into a threesome when Alex came around. (another reason Alex didn't mind Snow playing around, he enjoyed joining in because it was when his baby was happiest) As the song was coming to an end, Alex made his way inside, smiling at a large horse bouncer out front "Snowy staying out of trouble tonight Max?"

The equine sighed and smiled "Does that pinky ever?" Alex smiled knowing the answer to that as he made his way through the crowd just as the song ended and Snow started scanning the crowd till he saw the topless fox and jumped off the stage to glomp him "Lexi!" he squeeled, hugging his love tightly.

"Nice to see you too darling." There was much laughter and a few 'awwws' from around the pair as Alex kissed him on the nose and got up, leading him back into the dressing room. Alex suppressed a chuckle as he could clearly hear 2 of the other dancers having fun in the next room over.

"So what do I owe this little visit cutie?" Snow asked, sitting in his lover's lap.

Alex smiled and pet his love's head "you know what tonight is don't you baby? I came to take you out for a romantic diner."

Snows ears went up and he hit himself in the forehead "I knew there was something I meant to do... but it's a good thing you made diner plans and not me"

The red fox kisses him on the nose "just relax hon. I know you forget these sorts of things so...." He got a mischievous smile "I am treating you to diner and you can have anything you want, but it's at my favorite restaurant and I brought that evening dress I love to see you wear. That's more than enough of a gift for me!"

Snow smiled wide and blushed "You little snake in the grass; you say it's my gift and you get more fun out of it!"

He smiled and kissed the boy on the cheek "clothes are out in my car. Let's get out of here so we can get you femmied up...." He took a moment to look closer at his love "ok you can't get much femmier but we can try!"

"Oh hush" the pink fox giggled still, hiding his blush behind his tail as they made their way out to Alex's car. Alex had needed to park a block or 2 away from the club because the lot was full and it took a while to get there. But something was wrong. A tire had been slashed and a figure sat on the hood of the car.

"Well well well. What do we have here?" the figure toyed with a knife, throwing it in the air and catching it. He was notorious in this area. His name was Spike. A biker street punk and a Fennec Fox. Because of his small size and big ears growing up, he had picked on by everyone and anyone, people making gay jokes right and left because he was small and cute. Well spike fixed that problem by building a reputation up around him, and gays were his favorite targets, his way of getting back at all the gay jokes about him.

Alex froze, holding Snow's paw tight. He had heard of this guy but never actually seen him. The smaller fox hopped off of Alex's car and put his knife away. Snow tried to talk their way out of the situation "L-look, we don't have anything you want! Look at these shorts; do I look like I have a wallet on me?"

"That is true. But I don't do this for the pay. I do it for the pleasure"

The Fennec was easily a full head shorter than the couple, but the stories about his beatings was more than enough reason to make Alex run, brining Snow with him. They went dashing down the alley away from him, but the punk called after them "you think you can run? I know every brick of this city!"

Snow and Alex looked at each other "we might be able to take him if we have to. We have to stay together."

The pair ran deeper and deeper and deeper into unfamiliar territory trying to get away. One turn down the wrong alley was all it took to get lost, and yet Spike keep pace with them the whole way, only a little ways behind. The punk would lose sight of them for a few seconds when they turned but would get right back in their line of sight. He loved the chase because it made the capture more satisfying. Spike turned another corner and stopped. There was a road to his right, a road to his left, both deserted, both quiet. He cursed softly under his breath till he heard a clang in front of him and his ears perked when he looked closer at the building in front of him "Ornox Chemical plant? Getting a bit desperate I see" he smirked, cracking his knuckles and hopping the fence.

Inside the 2 foxes had slowed their pace, having to move smarter, not faster. The plant seemed relatively deserted, most work done by machines. "Alex stop please" Snow panted "if he's still back there then we have no choice but to fight."

Without turning or stopping Alex darted under a conveyer belt moving across the floor "I promised I'd protect you no matter what happens! I promised him and I'm not going to break that promise" he stopped long enough to up his paw, a ring gleaming on his finger. Not a wedding ring but a ring that meant even more to the pair of them. Tears started to form in Snow's eyes. He wanted to embrace his lover tightly for but they heard the doors open and knew they had been found out.

"Where are you ya little Fags?" called Spike as he made his way in, taking a moment to look at one of the bottles of chemicals. He couldn't make heads or tails of what was inside but still took it with him. "Come out and play! I thought you boys liked having your asses pounded!"

Alex couldn't help but growl as he opened a door to hide inside. The room was full of more bottles, more chemicals or different verities. The pair ran inside but it took a moment to realize there was no door except the one they came in through... and that door was being blocked by the leather clad biker, smirking as he played with the bottle in his hands.

"Well well what do we have here? 2 little girlies trapper in a corner. Now what to do with you"

Alex and Snow looked at each other and took a deep breath. Paw in paw side by side they stood their ground, ready for him. Not liking this sudden surge of confidence from his prey, he threw the bottle he was holding at their feet, making them jump apart in different directions. A little bit of the substance landed on all 3 of them and when the lovers jumped, they both crashed into shelves of more and different chemicals, spilling it onto them and even 2 landing on Spike from a shelf above the door. Though in pain, the pair knew Spike was worse off than they were and took this chance to dive around him and out of the factory, getting far away from there in before their pursuer even knew they were gone.
