Evil Doesn't Die Book One Chapter Two.

I plead the fifth. I'm not revealing why I'm going crazy with these story ideas. Now that we're past that, we left off with Alex meeting a human, after crashing into him. Ariel is a hunter and killer of the Supernatural. That's where I'm finishing the recap. Now then, I'm sorry for people who don't like gore, but in this series, any supernatural creature that gets killed, will leave behind a body. They will not sparkle, or turn to dust. Before this chapter officially starts, I must say that the human Eric met, and Eric have been speaking for over an hour. Anyways, this series will now start up again, but it will not start exactly where we left off. I will not reveal more, y'all will see for yourselves what the chapter will take off. Anyways, Ladies and Gentle-furs, this chapter starts up.....NOW!

Evil is everywhere.

Trust no one, not even your family.

Location: an office building in Michigan. Time: 7:40 pm. Date: 2 months before the events of chapter one.

A wolf fur by the name of Aaron left his job and headed over to his car. As he was walking, he looked up at the sky, and noticed the colors of the clouds. They were all a bright red, and seemed to be caused by the setting sun. Almost as soon as he noticed the colors, Aaron ignored them, and returned his attention to his car. As he turned his gaze away, the multi-colored clouds in the sky started moving, with amazing speed, towards the wolf. As Aaron opened up his car door, the cloud reached his head, and started flowing into his ear. Aaron dropped his stuff, and clutched his head as the last of the cloud entered his ear. When the final traces of the cloud disappeared into his ear canal, Aaron let his arms drop to his sides, and grinned wildly as his eyes briefly turned completely red. When his eyes returned back to normal, Aaron started walking away from his car, and out onto the street, silently saying, "the day of reckoning for the furs in this small city has come. I will enjoy toying with the family of my host here, before I kill them, and all the furs in the city. My standard two months of 'toying with my prey' sounds long enough, heh...heh...heh." The demonically possessed Aaron continued walking, laughing evilly, as Aaron's soul screamed loudly to be let out of his mental prison.

Location: same place chapter one left off. Time: an hour after the events of chapter one.

"So Ariel, we've been speaking for the past hour. It's getting late, so can I ask if you can give me a ride to where I'm going?" asked Eric as he leaned against the damaged hood of his car. Ariel regarded the lion with an emotionless look on his face, and then nodded slowly. "Alright Eric, I'm willing to give you a ride. You grab your stuff, and I'll get my car ready." With those words, Ariel turned his back on Eric, and walked over to his car. Initially surprised by Ariel's sudden change in attitude, Eric got over it, and went to the trunk of his car, and took out his gun, ammunition, and clothes, then closed it and walked over to the Camaro. While he was doing all that, Ariel had climbed into his car, and was busy pressing a combination of buttons on his dashboard. Once he pressed the last button, a surge of electricity went through the metal body of his car, which made all the buckled metal in the rear of his car, straighten out, making it look like new. Well, that's my car fix. And look, _thought Ariel as he saw Eric approaching his car in his rearview mirror, Eric is on his way here. Looks like he's carrying a stick in his hand. Wonder why. Smiling, Ariel didn't think anything of the stick, until Eric's reflection grew a little larger. What he thought was a stick, was really an assault rifle. The sight of the gun caused Ariel to immediately pull out his gun, and load it. _What's this lion doing with a rifle in the middle of a highway? Tense, Ariel watched as Eric opened the back passenger side door, and dropped his stuff, including the rifle in the backseat. As soon as he saw the barrel of the rifle touch the seat, and heard Eric close the door, Ariel relaxed, unloaded his gun, and put it back in his pocket. Hearing the door next to him open up, Ariel turned his head, and was greeted with the sight of a grinning lion. "I really hope I didn't make you feel like you were tight when you saw my rifle. I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm going hunting." said Eric. Raising an eyebrow, Ariel didn't say anything. Taking in Ariel's silent response, Eric climbed into the car, and closed the door. As soon as the door closed, Ariel turned to regard his passenger, and asked, "Where you headed?" Eric quickly gave his answer, "I was heading to Michigan. Can you take me all the way there?" If Ariel had been surprised by Eric's answer, he hid it well, and nodded. Turning his eyes to the highway in front of him, Ariel put on his shades, started up his car, and pressed down hard on the gas pedal.

Location: Aaron's home.

Aaron sat at the dinner table. His wife, a Dalmatian fur by the name of Alicia, sat down in the seat across from his. His son, a wolf fur by the name of Trent, sat down in the last available chair. As soon as Trent sat down, the family started eating their breakfast. About halfway through their meal, Aaron stopped eating, and turned his attention to his son, "Trent, what's going on in school today?" A little surprised by the question, Trent didn't answer right away. "Trent, when I ask you a question, I expect an answer immediately." said Aaron coolly as he gazed at his son. "Um...we're going to be doing the same old things we usually do. Why?" asked Trent. Smiling, Aaron turned his attention to his wife, and asked her what she was going to be doing at her job. "My answer is the same as Trent's. It's going to be the same old thing." said Alicia. Nodding, Aaron returned to eating his food, and so did his family. Trent would finish first, and made to leave the dinner table, but Aaron stopped him. "Trent, you're not going to school today. And your mother isn't going to work today either. We're all going to stay here, and enjoy ourselves." Trent and Alicia stared at Aaron in surprise, but didn't say anything, knowing full well that they wouldn't be able to change his mind. Getting up from the table, Aaron beckoned for his family to follow him into the living room. Once inside, he had them sit down on the sofa, and close their eyes. His family obliged, and Aaron smiled as he saw how trusting they were of him. _Such a sweet family. It's a good thing I'm going to kill them, _thought Aaron as his eyes slowly turned red. Still smiling, the demonically possessed Aaron walked into the kitchen, and picked up a steak knife from the counter. Clutching the knife, he walked back to the living room, walked up to his wife's face, and slowly caressed her arm. Alicia let out a small giggle, and asked Aaron what he was doing. When she didn't get an answer, she opened her eyes, in time to see Aaron plunge a steak knife straight into her chest, hitting her heart. She felt no pain, and died two seconds later. As Aaron stabbed his wife, Trent opened his eyes, and started screaming once he saw the knife in his mother's chest. Aaron turned towards Trent, taking the knife out of his wife's body as he did so. With an evil smile on his face, Aaron grabbed Trent by the throat, and swiftly stabbed the boy in the back of the neck, killing him. As the eyes of his son slowly turned glassy, Aaron let go of the boy's throat, letting Trent's body hit the floor. The evil laughter coming from Aaron's mouth, filled the whole house, and across the neighborhood, as Aaron watched the blood flow from the bodies of his family.

Location: Just outside of Michigan.

Eric regarded Ariel with piercing eyes, as he watched the human boy drive at insane speeds, expertly avoiding any kind of accidents. Eric almost jumped out of his seat when he heard Ariel start speaking. "Buddy, why you looking at me for?" asked Ariel, never once taking his eyes off the road. Eric's response was to just start babbling, as he was caught off guard. Ariel smirked, and shook his head, "alright, let's start over. Why are you looking at me like I'm a criminal?" More prepared this time, Eric said, "I'm just trying to figure out how you're able to drive so fast, and not cause an accident." Ariel's only answer was, "skill. It takes a bunch of skill." With those words, Eric was ignored again as Ariel returned his attention to the road. For the next hour and a half, Ariel and Eric didn't speak a word to each other. Finally, after driving since he allowed Eric to ride with him, Ariel saw the sign that told him he had entered Michigan. Finally. I'm now one step closer to finally reaching that demon. Sighing, Ariel looked down at his G.P.S. and saw that the exit for the town he had to go to was coming up. Looking to his right, Ariel saw no immediate cars approaching, so he immediately turned his car into the exit.

Ariel smiled as he heard Eric grip the car door. For a feline that's called the king of the jungle, this here pussy cat is acting like a little kitten just because of a turn made a high speeds. _Chuckling, Ariel slowed his car down as he reached a red stoplight. As soon as he reached the stoplight, Ariel asked Eric what kind of motel he was comfortable staying in. "Any is fine." responded Eric. As soon as the spotlight turned green, Ariel started driving again. Within two minutes, he was able to find a decent looking motel, and drove into the parking lot. Once he parked his car, Ariel turned off the engine, and unlocked his car doors. "Alright Eric. We're in Michigan, and this is as far as I'm taking you. Time for ya to get out." Eric looked at Ariel in surprise, but quickly grabbed his stuff from the backseat. Just before he exited the car, Eric took out a pen and paper, and wrote down his phone number and home address on it. Handing the paper over to Ariel, Eric explained, "Call me or visit me so I can return the favor for helping me." Taking the paper, Ariel nodded, and placed it in his pocket. Seeing that Ariel wasn't going to say anything, Eric exited the car, and walked into the motel. Watching Eric go, Ariel couldn't help but feel like he was going to miss the lion. I don't know this guy. So why in the blue Hell did I take the paper he gave me with his address and phone number? _Sighing, Ariel locked his doors, turned the engine on, and drove out of the parking lot.

Location: the house of Aaron's neighbor. Time: Twenty four hours after Ariel dropped Eric off.

Ariel drove his car into the garage of the house next door to one that had been taped off. Glancing in the mirror, Ariel straightened his hair, and tie, and then exited the car. Straightening his 'borrowed' suit, Ariel walked up to the front door of the house. He knocked on the door, and waited patiently for the owner to open it. He didn't have to wait long. A middle aged human woman opened the door. "Good morning ma'am, I'm Special Agent Perez. If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a few questions about the murders that happened next door." said Ariel as he showed the woman a badge and an I.D. The lady looked at the badge and I.D., and then let Ariel into her house. "What would you like to know?" asked the lady as she led Ariel into the living room. Sitting down, Ariel's responded with, "First, I'd like to know your name. Then I'd like to know if you know why Aaron may have killed his family." Nodding sadly, the lady said, "You can call me Grace. As for why Aaron may have killed his family? I honestly can't tell you. The man loved his wife, and loved his son. I used to talk to his wife a lot, and she told me Aaron had no history of I.E.D., or Intermittent Explosive Disorder." Ariel took in all the information and nodded. "Grace, on the day of the murders, did you notice any smoke? Or by chance, did you smell something like chlorine bleach?" asked Ariel. Grace answered the question with evident confusion in her voice, "I didn't see any smoke that day. I did however; notice the smell of chlorine bleach." Ariel nodded, and thanked Grace for the information, then headed for the door. "Glad to be of help officer." said Grace as she closed the door behind Ariel's back.

Hearing the door close, Ariel took off his tie, and messed up his hair. Gah. This is the worst part of my job. Having to dress all nice just to pull off looking like an agent for the Furry and Human Bureau of Investigation. _Shaking his head, Ariel walked over to Aaron's house, and took out a lock pick gun. Looking around to make sure no one was watching, Ariel quickly picked the lock to Aaron's home. Putting the gun back in his pockets, Ariel withdrew his nine-millimeter pistol, put in the magazine, and entered the house. As soon as he did, his nose was overwhelmed with the scent of chlorine bleach. _Son of a bitch. That demon must've left this house in a hurry if that smell is still here. Breathing through his mouth, Ariel walked around the house, his gun at the ready. When he finished walking around, Ariel sighed, upset that he didn't find anything that could tell where the demon went. Putting his gun back in his pocket, Ariel picked up a picture of Aaron and his family, and looked at it. The picture showed a happy family standing in front of a lake. The wife and child were killed. Aaron disappeared. He's a person of interest to the cops. He could be possessed by a demon. Unfortunately, either way, he's going to die if he gets caught. Sighing, Ariel put down the picture, and went to the front door. Looking back at the house, Ariel gave it one last look over, and then closed the door behind him as he left. As Ariel walked over to his car, a pair of dark red eyes followed his every move, all the way to the car.

Well, that's chapter two of this series. And I'm not even finished yet. I've only just begun. Anyways, let's review, between this chapter and the last one, Ariel was revealed to be the human that Eric met. The rest of this chapter was just a way for me to let you all try to guess if Ariel and Eric are ever gonna meet again, and, to build up to one of the first fights Ariel's going to have with demons. Well, I'm all done here, so constructive criticism is welcomed, and that's all I'm saying. BYE!
