How should I know?
Chapter 1: is this the beginning?
"What the hell!" Was all I could say as I awaken in a grassy meadow. At that moment I started to notice that the sky was turning very cloudy and dark. I started to lift myself off the ground I notice something was off... Something like my hands was really large and my nails were even longer.
"What the hell!" I said again as I stood up immediately and rushed over to the nearest puddle of water, and gazed into it and saw my reflection. For a while I just sat there looking at my reflection wondering how something like this could have happened. For about another ten minutes my needle sharp yellow irises stared at my reflection, and then came the sound of thunder. I quickly perked my head up and look towards the sky. With that I made my way towards a wooded area and sat underneath a tree continued my pondering of my current state and situation.
At that time I started running a few simple things threw my head, like how to count and spell. Using my claws started to make numbers and words within the now moistening dirt. And now doing simple math making sure not just my looks weren't the only thing missing. I jumped at the Roar of the thunder and ran deeper into the woods. I noticed that I wasn't making much ground as I ran do to the short legs that I now possessed, but the rain fall on my back started feeling much better the longer I was exposed. I guess even crappy days like this would have some sort of silver lining.
For what seemed like an eternity of walking I came to a halt. At that time I saw a large body of water, it looked to be about a half a mile away, I did everything I could to get to it as quick as I could I was becoming so tired I began to crawl. "Hmph this is better than walkin." I thought to myself as my speed doubled now that I was all fours. As I entered the body of water a cool sensation ran over me and not just from the water, it was like I belong there. I started doing laps in the water moving faster and faster felt great! It was like nothing could stop or catch me.
When I was done playing in the water, I began to crawl on land panting slightly. I rolled over on my back and my hand trailed down to my stomach. That's when I notice my stomach was roaring almost as loud as the lightning. That's when I look up into the tree and I saw some berries, by this time I was really starting to become very hungry. That's when I thought to myself 'if I look like the creature I think I am then I should be able to use an ability to get the berries.' So I took a deep breath and I felt something gathering at the back of my throat, and with that I blew with all my might. With that came a very powerful stream of water out the back of my throat. I coughed a bit having that is the first time that's happened to me, feeling a few knocks to the head from the newly falling berries I quickly picked them up and quickly devoured them.
Feeling pretty good after the feeding I was still kind of hungry, but didn't want to waste too much time on the effort of just finding food. So I continued on my trip looking for some answers to 'what the hell' happened to me. I found myself walking/crawling deeper and deeper into the woods, and then I stumble across something familiar yet wrong for some reason.
There was a woman that looked about her late teens or her early twenties. She was mild dark ebony and wearing a white tee short sleeve shirt and black biker shorts. Her Shoes were scuffed and worn out assuming that she was running or something for a while. She was crouched in a defensive stance, striking a pose as if it were to be a fighting stance. That's when I notice that the top of her forehead was bleeding. I didn't want to make any sudden moves till I got a full view of the situation. I stealthily crawled into some bushes that would be suitable to hide my large body, the bushes stick and stems were tickling me as I crawled under. I saw something I didn't want to see especially at this time in my confusion as is.
There stood a group of bug Pokémon; they slowly started to surround her. I actually recognized a few of them, some were Scyther's and the others were Pincer's. Something told me not to get involved, but something also told me I couldn't sit by and watch as someone get torn apart like this. As I was about to stand up the first of the Scyther's made its move and leaped towards her rear with a heavy slash to the back of the head. My eye's doubled in size when I saw her quickly duck the lethal blow, and kicked it in the face with a mean left roundhouse. When that happened several more including a pincer attacked her with the most rage and hate I've seen thus far. She jumped straight into the sky and down with an axe kick to one of the scyther's head and buried it in the ground from the force of the kick. I guess when others saw this they started to back off and gathered together with the others in the group. As it remained on the ground lifeless my Jaw nearly dropped off my face in amazement.
At that moment all of them started yelling something about "take her, we must not let her go." From the fact that I could hear what they were saying was creeping me out even more than me being in this form. After that thought I focus on what was going on because it seemed like the scyther's were going to try and swarm her at once. That's when I knew I had to help her. As they all jumped up to attack her, I took the deepest breath I could take and shot out the largest blast water that I could muster from my body. It knocks most of them unconscious and the rest of them were blown away and made a quick run for it.
I looked over where the girl was standing and she was swaying back and forth mumbling something... "I'll kill you all, I'll kill you all." She said it over and over again till she eventually passed out. My heart was racing I didn't know what to do at the moment, so I just walked to her and made sure that she was out...didn't want to receive any of those lethal kicks. She was out cold and the blood on her forehead was still running so I gave it a quick lick, then another lick, but deeper. The taste of blood wasn't my taste so as I kept licking I spat it out. I picked her up and placed her on my back and got down on all fours and started making my way out of the woods...hopefully.
She was sleeping rather peacefully for someone who just came out dire situation like that. As I continued to crawl out the wood it was a welcomed relief to not see an area not guarded by trees. My speed picked up as I exited the woods. I grew rather tired after that whole ordeal, and the hour of walking, but I tried to keeping going not knowing how things would turn out if I were to get too tired to defend myself if the time should come. Plus I still wouldn't know how to deal with her when she comes to. So I gently grabbed her off my back and sat her down beside me.
The rain had stopped by then, so I used my claws to dig a hole within the earth to get us somewhere to sleep. The moist ground made it easy to dig up I dug my claws into the ground. Once I was done I pick her up and laid her down inside the hole.
She had such a small form it was hard for me to believe that she was as strong as she was. I giggled slightly after remembering what she had did to that unfortunate scyther and shook it from my head as I noticed her head was still bleeding but not as bad as before. So I gave it another quick lick and looked around for something quick and tangible that I could use to help her. I saw a small pond not too far off from where we were, so I made my way to the pond and drunk a lot of water, afterwards I made my way back and sprinkled some on her head. The bleeding seem too came to a halt I was relieved once I noticed. I basically was exhausted and I started to pass out myself....
In my sleep I dreamt about this small girl something felt like I should know her but I couldn't bring myself to remember. And in my Dream she kept asking me questions and my responds to all of them was "I don't know...."
My face started to twitch do to the morning sun rays, when I looked up the girl was setting up looking at me with a pained look in her face. I immediately jumped back landing in a crouched stance thinking that she was going to strike me down or something. She started to giggle and said "No need to worry big guy I won't do anything to harm you. As you can see I was awake before you so if I wanted I could have taken you out," She said playfully. After hearing that I still didn't lower my guard, she stood up out of the hole then she looked the other way as if trying to tell me something so I followed her gaze. And just like that she was gone when I looked back for her, I did my best to try and see her but it was too late. She was lying on top of me I didn't make a move.
"Gotcha," she said. I couldn't help but blush, but keep looking straight trying my best not to invoke anything or provoke her into doing anything.
"Ok Ok Ok, Krystal you got me," I said.
"Wait how you know my name Mr. Feraligatr not only that, you talk as well?!" she asked questioningly
"How the HELL should I know?!"
