Each of the Ten hold a title named from a gem.Onyx Amethyst, Quartz, Topaz, Diamond, Emerald, Pearl, Sapphire, Opal, and Ruby. Gems are important in this land,they are used in magic. Gems can be enchanted with different abilitys such as ruby helping fire users controll and manipulate fire.Each gem controlls a different element of nature. The most common are: Topaz - can be enchanted to help those who have lightning abilitys.. also enchanted with abilitys pertaining to speed. Saphire - can be enchanted to help those who have Ice and Water abilitys.. Amethyst - can be enchanted to help those who have Telepathy and other such abilitys.. can be enchanted to help those who dont want there mind intruded upon. Emerald - can be enchanted to give weapons poisonous properties.. Ruby - can be enchanted to help those who have fire abilitys or to prevent fire in buildings Diamond - can be enchanted to help those who have Telekinetic powers. There are many more gems and all gems are precious for there attributes. * * *

On to the story: Today, the king has died.So far none of the healers who examined him in his death bed can figure out how he died..same with the queen.
