[The Dorian Grey; Dark Spire, Prisoner Cell: 264; 3,568 A.D, November 26th, 4:50AM]

Arjun repeatedly kicked Serverus in the chest who was lying on the ground covered in his own blood.

"Fucking set us up! You're god damn piece of shit!" Arjun yelled angrily as he took out his frustration on the zealot alien

"Beat this form to an inch of its life, for the master will take my energy and re-forge it in his image!" Serverus spoke like the religious nut he was

"You fucking bet I will!" Arjun said as he kicked the alien in the chest again "Tell me where that portal went!"

"I don't have to tell you anything, human. Soon the Void God himself will descend upon this realm of mortality and all of you miserable little organics will be lambs to the slaughter! The Void God isn't some pagan deity you humans have conjured up when you crawled on land for the first time, his power is endless like the droplets in an ocean world you cannot even grasp the nature of his existence!"

Arjun Fiaz slammed his fist into the side of the zealot's head as he saw there was no point to the interrogation as Serverus kept spouting nonsense at him. A VALOR marine greeted him with a salute as he left the cell before the guard activated the invisible barrier that blocked Serverus' escape.

"He's not breaking, is he?" The guard asked

"Hell no, they took good men..." Arjun said "and Liken..." he whispered afterwards

"What was that?" The guard asked

"Nothing"

As the guard offered a chance to play a game a cards the Seer's apprentice, Xross, walked in strides towards them.

"Arjun has the traitor given up the location." Xross asked

"Are you kidding me?" Arjun laughed "I listen to his bull shit for like ever..."

Xross walked past the brown skinned human and the marine guard into the cell, the blue and white guard turned to Arjun.

"He thinks he can do better?" The marine asked in his filtered mono-tone voice

"What's he going to do? Ask him ni-"Arjun answered before he was interrupted

"Dark Spire! They are at Dark Spire!" Serverus yelled as Xross walked out of the cell smugly

"What did you say to him?" Arjun asked

"Do you really want to know?" Xross said as he starred down at the human

"Properly not..." Arjun then sighed, "So they are at Dark Spire, eh?"

"Indeed." Xross answered

[The Shadow Core; Dark Spire; Construction Quarter 3,568 A.D, November 26th, 5:20AM]

Shadow Master Malero Alterus walked back in forth in front of his chained up prisoner who continued to struggle her way out. The valgary watched as the half dragon mad scientist took notes in a blood stained journal as he looked up at her every once and a while.

"What are you waiting for?" Liken hissed "Just turn me into one of your fucking experiments already!" she yelled using a swear word she had heard Arjun use

Malero stopped dead in his track who was dumbfounded by the demand; he slowly turned his head back at the valgary in disbelief and shifted his monocle.

"Pardon me?" Malero asked to see if he heard his prisoner wrong

"Just do what ever you want." Liken said

"Turn 'you' into one of those..." Malero said as he pointed at a nearby gunner who sluggishly walked through his huge construction quarter were seasoned cultists produced cult monsters on assembly lines. "That would be like...being...like well I can't think of a metaphor but it would be wasteful, a complete waste it would be!"

"A waste?" Liken asked

"Yes! You are special!" Malero said happily "You are one of the Seer's champions, imbued with the power of the guardian of life himself! Not to mention the last of your species, I'm not going to waste it by turning you into a monster, wasteful it would be!"

Liken growled at his deranged compliment as Malero closed his journal shut with one hand and placed his pen in his pocket on his undersized stained lab coat.

"And your in great physical condition as well...a shame to think I'll be taking you away from what ever mate you had." Malero pondered

Liken answered the doctor with anther rage induced tantrum as she twisted and screeched from her bindings to get free.

"It appears I hit a nerve...I'll have to note this." Malero examined as he took out his pen and journal back out

Liken screamed, "I'll rip you apart just like I did to the other who captured me!"

"Are you saying you killed Xoro'tanth?" Malero asked as he took a shot in the dark

"Yes." Liken answered as she bared her sharp teeth

"Well that wasn't very nice, not at all..." Malero said as he shook his head "Good student, bit creepy if you asked me. But at least I have you to examine even though the portal closed abruptly and Lord Havoc hasn't reported back..."

Liken smiled, "Looks like you forgot to factor in the Justicar into your ambush."

"The Justicar?" Malero questioned as he shifted his monocle, "I've heard of him I have, defeated the Void God's avatar, and killed countless of my creations"

Dr. Alterus seemed to look off into space as he wrote down more notes as two infinite drones behind him started hanging deceased draconian dragons onto huge meat hooks that hung from the ceiling of the morbid factory.

"Once he finds that this is the place where the portal went you better run because there will be no stopping him from levelling this place into the ground." Liken said hopefully

"A rescue mission?" Malero said positively as he got an idea, "What a perfect time to test out my most deadly of creations and a great time to take more notes!"

The half lizard folk mad scientist walked off as he muttered to himself on what experiments to deploy and at what times.

[Uncharted World; 3,568 A.D, November 26th, 5:40AM]

Azerigan walked across the dense jungle; knocking large trees out of his way to get out his built up anger and sorrow that tore him up on the inside. The green scale dragon picked up a rodent with his claw and lifted it off the ground by the tail as it squirmed for its life but as he got ready to drop the small creature into his mouth he decided against it and dropped the rat like creature back onto the jungle floor allowing it to scamper off.

With all his might Azerigan swung his tail in anger, flattening the huge trees onto the ground that scared away the last remaining animals that were brave enough to be in the proximity of the dragon.

"It's their fault I'm here!" Azerigan said to himself, "Short-sighted fools! All of them! If they want to be killed than so be it but when they come crawling back to tell me I was right I will spit back in their faces!"

Azerigan felt empowered for a little bit as he tried to get the consequences of the soon to be deaths of the draconian people off of his chest and onto the Queen Matriarch herself but as he thought about it his thoughts of personal freedom quickly became that of his children. Although he had anger towards his former consort, Talsora, he wasn't going to allow his own anger get in the way of protecting the hatchlings he helped born and raise.

As Azerigan started to make a nest for himself in the dense jungle he saw three portals opened up in the sky thanks to him knocking down the trees around him. Each portal shot a red lighting bolt into the ground as they sucked up everything in the vicinity of them and in mere moments three infinite drones surrounded the dragon.

The machines walked towards the green scale dragon that stood onto his hind legs while spreading his wings to make himself that much larger as the drones stood closed in without firing their weapons.

The drones charged.

Azerigan threw the drone that attacked him from the front over his shoulder so it landed on his attacker that came from behind. The third machine swung its fist into the underside of the large dragon's chin that was so powerful it flipped Azerigan onto his backside causing his massive weight to knock several trees out of their roots that created a domino affect with the surrounding flora. The drone stood over the draconian and aimed its right mounted wrist cannons at his head, but in retaliation Azerigan opened his jaws wide and set the infinite drone ablaze in molten fire. The red hot drone flailed its arms about before melting into itself.

The two drones pulled themselves up and began to charge up their primary shoulder cannons as they aimed at the enormous dragon. When the drones got ready to fire a dragoness jumped onto the back of the left most drone causing its weapon to discharge accidentally that sucked up its ally into the black hole it had just fired. The remaining drone grabbed its attacker by the shoulders and threw her against Azerigan who caught the small dragoness with his claws and let her down gently.

Azerigan charged the drone knocking the massive machine to the ground and with both of his claws he smashed the red eye of the drone and ripped out as much of the inner wiring as he could before the construct finally died out.

"Azerigan, there you are! I've been looking all over for you!" the unknown dragoness yelled as she threw herself at him

"Who are you and why are you here." Azerigan demanded as he pushed the young draconian away

"I believe you Azerigan, and I want to help you." She answered

"I also asked for you name." Azerigan asked who kept his distance from the dragoness in fear that it may be anther trap set by Vurdamis

"Oh" the dragoness laughed, "My name is not important."

"I would still like to know." He repeated himself

The dragoness sauntered up to Azerigan and stood on her hind legs so she could be at eye level with the once proud Prime Consort. She placed her claw under his chest and could feel his scarred and toughed under scales from his constant fighting to help soothe his anger that had been with him since he was banished.

"I'm sorry if I didn't help you during your public run in with the royal guard but if they didn't believe a word from some one such as your self, then why should they believe me?" she said while avoiding his question

"If you really want to help me then tell me your birth name"

The dragoness nodded, "If you want to know my name is Balsora"

"That wasn't so hard." Azerigan smiled for the first time in a long while

"I guess it wasn't" she laughed awkwardly

Azerigan looked towards the sky then back at the small dragoness in front of him, "Well I have to say it's finally nice to find someone who shares my view on those deceitful infinite."

Balsora laughed, "They do have a way with words."

[The Dorian Grey; Briefing Room; 3,568 A.D, November 26th, 6:10AM]

"We simply don't have the troops to spare on assault on Dark Spire." Ranorin said as he shook his head "Nor are we in any shape to do anything as we have wounded and to accommodate our newest additions"

"You warm bloods are a lot more generous that what our leaders let out." The lizard folk arch mage spoke "The infinite betrayed us and we will see them dead for it."

"What about a stealth operation?" Arjun asked "I mean, the Seer opens a portal weak enough for only me to go and I'm sure the magi they have will only pick it up as a disturbance...or something."

Carpender raised his hand, "Make that a two man operation, I am the only medical personal on board who can treat wounds with little to no tools not to mention we can't spare your medics down in the wards."

Arjun turned to the mummy like creature, "He's right, I can keep what ever we face off of him while he does his medically stuff."

Ranorin nodded at Ethan who sat crossed armed in his chair, "What about the Vanquisher?"

"Please, those people are as good as dead. Brownie here only wants to go because he has a thing for valgaries." Ethan smugly laughed

"You take that back you bastard!" Arjun demanded

"Or what?" Ethan laughed "You going to kick my ass? You only won because your bitch animal friend got me by surprise. Besides I'm not going to go on some suicide mission to save a bunch of nobodies and freaking animal."

"I don't need your help, Carpender is all I need." Arjun then turned to Captain Ranorin, "We will do it, you guys make repairs."

"I'll make sure to tell this once the Seer has finished his meditation, crew dismissed." Ranorin said

All the different important figures got out of their seats and proceeded to exit the room but Arjun approached Carpender who was waiting for everyone to leave before he did.

"I suppose you are going for Liken?" Arjun asked

"The human, Ethan, is partially correct the marines are already dead, Malero would have no use for them but I'm sure he's aware of Liken's uniqueness."

Arjun shook his head as he sat back down in the conference room as Carpender followed him back to his seat.

"Fuck man, I don't know." Arjun sighed "I mean in all honestly I'm not going to rescue the soldiers."

"The valgary is more important than any number of VALOR soldiers; she is one of the Seer's chosen."

"True, but that's not all of it. I mean I feel something more...god this is so fucked up." Arjun said as he placed his forehead into his hands

"Well Liken can be very sweet when she wants to be." Carpender said as he floated beside the seated human

"Hey, I don't love her!" Arjun said as he turned to Carpender

"I never said you did..." Carpender answered

Arjun shook his head, "Fuck man. Is something wrong with me?"

"Nothing is." Carpender argued "The infinite see us all the same, human, darkspawn, draconian, it doesn't matter to them we are all equally edible. We aren't fighting for power, wealth, or freedom in this war against Pandemonium we are fighting for our right to live, to exist. If the Void God were to take over this realm he would have the numbers and power needed to take over the other realms to provide even more life energy to devour and once all the realm's guardians have been killed off he will remake reality into his image."

"Thanks for the prep talk but what are you getting at?" Arjun asked

"It should not matter which race you are Arjun or what sexual orientation; it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. If you have any feelings then peruse it." Carpender nodded

"But shit look man, she's not even the same species as me! Hell I don't even know why I brought this up, I mean sure I care about her but it feels like this is evolving into something more." Arjun stated

"Do you love her?" Carpender asked

"I really care for her, don't get me wrong but I wouldn't call it 'love"

Carpender placed his armoured gauntlet on Arjun' shoulder, "Isn't that what it is, to care for someone?"

Arjun nodded in agreement, "Thanks 'doc' I'll think about it."

Carpender watch the human get out of his chair and walked towards the door before he stopped him one last time, "She's been through a lot and you're a good person for helping her through this."

"Yeah, she has and we are going to get her out of Dark Spire, alive." Arjun nodded

[Planet Drakos; Talsora's Cave; 3,568 A.D, November 26th, 6:20AM]

Talsora landed on the edge of the entrance to her dwelling with the animal her family would have for dinner in between her jaws. She walked into the torch lit cave as her children waited for their meal as they yapped and play fought each other in the mean time.

"How did your date go, mother?" Mazerigan asked as he pulled the smaller hatchlings apart

"He was nice..." Talsora nodded as she dropped the dead beast onto the ground "He was from the Steel Wing family"

"Oh?" Mazerigan asked as he helped the runt, Vitee, with getting his portion

"He works as a smithy at the armoury in the main part of town, he's very busy from making equipment to supply the knights in the war effort. I asked him if he wanted to go out during his break and he accepted."

"Well that's great!" Mazerigan answered happily as he stopped Vitee from trying to swallow a chunk of meat without chewing it first

"It was, but when it got towards the end and he wanted to mate I rejected him." Talsora said as he tore out a chunk for herself with her right claw

"Why not?" Mazerigan asked

"He's a very sweet and hard working but over the course of the entire time together...I just didn't feel a connection." She answered

"Like with dad?" Mazerigan said

Talsora looked at her eldest son with a cold stare but she soon shrugged it away, "I hate to admit it but yes."

"I would be lying too if I said I didn't miss dad." Mazerigan said in agreement

"He will be home soon, right?" Vitee asked innocently

Talsora gently rubbed the top of the young whelp's head, "He will" she lied

"You ever thought of just going back to him?" Mazerigan asked

Talsora looked at her son and nodded gently, "Our last talk didn't go as well I thought it would. I tried I really did but some one such as him can't act such ways."

"If you ask me, I could care less what my other class mates think of my heritage. Dalatora loves me all the same even though she has heard what father did." Mazerigan explained

"If it were so easy." Sighed Talsora

"It is that easy mother." Mazerigan answered as his siblings proceed to go back to fighting each other playfully "Dad loved us to his bones and would do nothing to hurt us. You and I both have never seen him act like he did before he met Lord Vurdamis, maybe he is right."

"Are you saying you believe Azerigan?"

"Not completely but I wouldn't go so far and label the person who loved us a traitor to the Kingdom." Mazerigan said as he defended his father

"You think I should take him back?" Talsora asked

"Dad loved us and I don't care what others think of him and you shouldn't either."

Talsora lowered her head to her son so the smaller hatchlings could not overhear, "But he was banished."

"Then we find where he was sent to and help him get the proof he needs, father needs us."

[The Shadow Core; Dark Spire 3,568 A.D, November 26th, 6:40AM]

A blade dancer patrolled down a hallway in the huge red fortress that stood in the empty void that was the realm where the infinite had came from. The cult monster turned around as it felt a tap on its right shoulder, the bandage wearing freak saw a silver color knight in front of it.

"Surprise, fuck-face!" Arjun said as he slammed his fist into the monster's head sending it to the ground dead

Carpender looked around where the Seer had teleported them in the glowing red hall way with its rusted walls and grate floors allowing the two to see the endless drop if the grates had ever gave away.

"Seer we are in safely." Carpender said out loud

"It will not be wise to talk anymore." The Seer communicated telepathically to the two, "The cult magi will grow more aware."

Arjun gestured towards the way the blade dancer was previously walking towards but as he got Carpender to follow him two gunner class cult monsters turned the corner from behind and started to spin up their chain guns. The Justicar immediately pushed the floating doctor out of the way as he blocked the oncoming projectiles with his shield protecting both of them. When the two gunners stopped firing as their weapons had overheated the Justicar took a step forward and heaved his shield that spun like a Frisbee disk that cut both of them into halves before returning back to the knight.

"So much for a stealth operation." Arjun laughed

Carpender followed the human down the twisting passages of the only physical manifestation in the Shadow Core that was Dark Spire. The Justicar pressed a button on a wall that summoned an elevator with no walls that must have been used as a service lift for heavy cargo.

As the lift took the two organics upwards Arjun looked around as his jaw dropped in awe at what he saw. He couldn't count the enormous hallways the lift was passing; each of the huge rooms had infinite drone types he had never seen before, some wore armour plating so heavy it would be classified as the same armour VALOR used to make their flag ships with, others had their shoulder cannons on their wrists and a much more powerful cannon on their backside. Tens of thousands of advance drones waited dormant in the countless hall ways with huge mechanical arms placing the suits in their spot for storage. The Justicar could even see in one hall way had five fully operational spider mech suits that he had fought before. The spider like drones marched down the hall way as their steps echoed throughout the entire storage bays.

"My god..." Arjun commented

"Dark Spire, the hub of all of the Void God's activates, this is but one of the endless of storage bays. There are enough drones here to threaten every realm a hundred times over" Carpender said

"Their race's name is a fitting description."

"Quite." Carpender spoke briefly

"Let's be glad they haven't decided to use this army yet because if they did we will be up shit's creek without a paddle." Arjun said

The lift came to a stop as it hit the highest floor it could go as Arjun watched anther spider mech activate from its row of thousands of dormant ones and proceeded to walk towards the end of its huge hall way.

The Justicar exited the elevator first so he could take point allowing Carpender to follow from behind. Arjun pressed anther button on an access pad on a door that opened up to a large chamber that was filled with cultists and their creations. The whole room looked at the silver knight who stood in the door way.

"What's good?" Arjun asked before the religious zealots barked for their experiments to rip the two apart

With his sword and shield in hand the Justicar carved a path through the cult monsters that varied in races, ages and sex. Blood and gore covered the knight's armour as with every swing he bloodied his power armour from his constant hacking away at the disfigured mutants who rushed him in a rage induced assault.

The Justicar looked up to find a legion class cult monster towering over the huge mobs of experiments. The massive undead raised its unholy fist into the air to bring it down upon the human but Arjun rolled out of the way as the massive hunk of flesh crushed the remaining abominations.

As the legion charged the Justicar the knight ran forward and leaped onto its headless body where the neck should have been. Arjun drove his sword as deep as he could into the monster's body before leaping off as he ordered his suit to cause his weapon to release the energy contained within his blade to disintegrate the beast in a blinding flash.

As the Justicar looked around the now empty chamber several view screens flickered on around the ceiling showing the full face of one Dr. Malero Alterus.

"I was beginning to think you wouldn't show up! Having disbelief I was having!" the half lizard folk spoke

"Where's Liken!?" Arjun demanded

"Oh don't worry human she's in fine condition" Malero said with a crooked smile

"Then show me her!"

"One thing at a time human, I must conduct research!" Malero answered before the view screens shut off

"Dammit!" Arjun yelled in anger

"Malero..." Carpender said

"You know that bastard?" Arjun asked

"He taught me on how to make the genesis creatures you fought in the war against Khaos, he wanted me to test them out on the field and send back the research to him. He is an insane but brilliant scientist who takes pleasure in sadist acts by turning victims into the most gruesome experiment he could fathom." Carpender answered

"But what does he mean by 'conduct research'?"

"If Malero wanted to kill us he would have done so by now, best way to save Liken is to play his game until we can get to her." Carpender answered

"But we don't even where the fuck she is!"

"Malero's own personality of wanting to learn would take priority than his common sense, its one of his few downfalls."

The door that led out of the chamber unlocked itself and opened inviting for the two to proceed to the next area.

"This is obviously a trap." Arjun commented

"But if anyone can beat Malero it is you Arjun." Carpender said

[Uncharted World; November 26th, 6:55AM]

Balsora waited for the large dragon to finally fall asleep in the nest he had made for the both of them, she backed away from Azerigan as he laid near the burning campfire he also set up for warmth. The dragoness quietly walked deeper into the jungle and when she could not see the fire or smoke anymore she opened a communication portal to Lord Vurdamis.

"I demand to know what is taking so long! Now!" Vurdamis boomed from his end of the portal

"Don't take that tone with me Lord Vurdamis." Balsora sneered

"By the Void God's name if you are stalling my plans just so you could mate with the organic than so help you I will take your life energy from your cold body!"

"Your plan is still on schedule it takes time to earn the trust of somebody such as this." Balsora answered

"Did the drones I had sent do their job?" Vurdamis asked

"Azerigan killed them just like you wanted and he doesn't think I am lying to him." Balsora reported

"Excellent." Vurdamis grinned "Continue as planned, once this is over Azerigan will make a powerful experiment to be used in the wars to come."

"Of course, give me a few hours and you will have your super experiment."

Balsora closed the portal and walked back to the sleeping Azerigan with a sadistic grind across her face.

[The Shadow Core; Dark Spire; November 26th, 6:55AM]

The cult monster the Justicar had slammed the edge of his shield into flailed about as it hit the ground in a bloodied heap. The last remaining blade dancer charged towards the knight before Arjun twisted around and sliced the monster in half at the waist.

"Common blade dancers seem ineffective against champions of the guardian, lets see what they do against magic." Malero said over the view screens in the hall way

Several portals opened up and a squad of skeletal lizard folk magi exited the swirling vortexes carrying their staves and tattered robes.

The closet of the undead mages started to conjure a fireball in both of its claws but before the mage could get off its spell the Justicar threw his shield at the magi causing it to fly apart into pieces before returning to him. The rest of the ground raised their staves into the air that caused the once previously defeated magi to reanimate into its form allowing it to fight once more in a dark haze.

The Justicar hid behind his shield as a plethora of conjured fireballs slammed against his bulwark. The undead mages continued their bombardment of magical spells when quite suddenly the next wave of fire balls reflected off an invisible wall in front of the Justicar that obliterated the entire group.

"I learned a few tricks over my years." Carpender laughed when he was interrupted by his former teacher

"It appears lowly mages don't have the reaction times to correct their casts, I'll have to fix this immediately." Malero commented "And it seems the subjects are slowing down through the testing, I'll have to motivate you two."

"What are you talking about?" Arjun angrily asked

Malero's face left the view screen showing Liken was grafted onto the wall behind him through the use of machinery before the doctor's face filled the screen back up again, "Her life energy is being fed to the drones you must have saw on the way up here, and you better hurry as there won't be much to save if you dawdle"

"I'm going to fucking kill you Malero!" Arjun yelled

"I would sure hope not, once this valgary's body is been drained I will have all the research notes I need and may even reanimate her to serve more...physical pleasures." Malero grinned

"No amount of experiments will stop me from getting to you and then killing you myself you sick fuck!" Arjun yelled

Malero laughed, "We'll see about that."

The view screens turned off and the Justicar stormed on ahead through the hall way with Carpender frantically trying not to lose the human who ran at high speeds thanks to his power armour.

The Justicar and Carpender entered a huge coliseum like area where the ground was littered with the dead of cultists and cult monsters and at the end of the huge arena stood a massive closed gate. The view screens across the area flickered on.

"Its time to stop running pre tests and get right too the juicy data I so desire! I present you my pet project, my ultimate master piece, my greatest creation!" Malero cheered

The Justicar took an offensive stance with his sword and shield ready as the large door at the end of the bloody arena slowly rose up. The Justicar's HUD lit up as it started to scan the undead that walked from its domain out onto the battle field and when his helmet zoomed into to see the monster fully, Arjun took a step back.

The cult monster was shaped like a blade dancer except it was three times the size of the Justicar; the bandages its lesser kin wore were replaced with steel strips that covered its entire body like a suit of armour. Its left arm had a massive curved blade that touched the ground even when the undead stood completely upright and its right arm had a spike ball that replaced its entire fore arm. Heads of different races were impaled onto spikes that stuck out from its heavy black armour do doubt they were all that remained of the innocent people that were combined to make this unholy construct.

The blade lord teleported right behind the two organics and slammed its huge curved sword at the two that both of them avoided just in time not to get pounded into paste. As the Justicar back tracked away from the blade lord the undead turned its head and raised its right arm towards the knight. The spiked ball launched towards Arjun with a chain attached to the end of it.

"Oh shit!" Arjun shouted as he leaped from his position the massive spike ball exploded the ground he stood in moments before hand

The blade lord slowly retracted its ball and chain weapon back up into its right arm as the Justicar ran toward the armoured cult monster and swung his sword at its legs that weren't knives like its smaller kin. When Arjun hit the black plated legs his body shook from the impact as he did no damage to the blade lord.

"My pet is quite well protected from your attacks, Justicar; he is protected by the same defences of that of a drone!" Malero said as he shifted his monocle on the view screens

The blade lord swung its foot and kicked the Justicar into the air where he hit his back against the ceiling then plummeted back to the ground.

"Oh that's smarts..." The Justicar said groggily as he got up

The blade lord readied its ball and chain weapon at the dazed human until Carpender who focused his entire mind into lifting the armoured cult monster into the air with his thoughts before sending it into the wall nearest to it. The room shook and crumbled as debris fell from the ceiling from the loud impact caused by Carpender powerful magic.

The Justicar joined Carpender's side as the powerful undead stood back up and launched its ball and chain at the two. Arjun wrapped his arms around the base of the chain that connected to the huge spiked ball weapon and with a powerful tug he pulled so it fell onto its chest. The blade lord proceeded to stand back up once more but the Justicar raised the chain into the air and began swinging its own weapon around before he threw it back into the face of the giant armoured undead that crushed its armour and sent it back to the ground.

"A minor design flaw..." Malero commented

The beast shook its head and watched the Justicar run towards it with sword and shield in hand, the blade lord struck the ground where the human was with its large blade arm but the silver knight dodged the massive attack with a frontal flip as he rushed the monster.

"Divert all auxiliary power to weapon!" Arjun ordered

The Justicar leaped into the air in front of the huge blade lord but instead of throwing his weapon like he did before he held onto his glowing sword and began taking powerful swings against the monster. Every time is glowing sword hit the blade lord an explosion was caused from the release of energy of the impact, the Justicar grabbed hold of a spike that was near the monsters neck allowing the silver knight to fling himself into the air again as he brought down his unbridled fury on the blade lord's head.

The blade lord staggered around as the human was far to close to its face to attack with its barbaric weaponry. The Justicar pushed with his feet off of the blade lord's head before throwing his shield straight into its forehead that knocked the massive undead to the ground, Arjun had his shield download itself back to his arm as he prepared for the final blow.

The Justicar took two steps forward with his sword and threw his blade which was saturated in unstable energies at the downed armoured giant. The blade struck its mark and detonated completely obliterating the blade lord in a blinding flash causing both Carpender and Arjun to shield their eyes.

"It appears I didn't take into consideration all variables..." Malero pondered

"Your god damn pet is dead1 tell me where Liken is and I may not turn you inside out!" Arjun demanded

"I suppose the mouse will want his cheese at the end of the experiment, very well..." Malero answered

The Justicar ran forward through the gate into the next area as the view screens that showed Malero's face flickered off. Carpender followed Arjun into the next room that looked like the same room Xoro'tanth had Zhakaev in complete with several bodies that were carved up for parts to make the blade lord and the overpowering stench of rotting flesh.

"Oh my god!" Arjun shouted as he found Liken the way Malero had shown him on the view screen.

The valgary entire lower body was covered in machinery that stuck out from the wall where she was grafted in to. The Justicar's HUD read no life signs from her body but that didn't stop Arjun from running up and start pulling the wiring that held her to the wall to get her loose.

"You should have heard her, Justicar." Malero said as he shifted his monocle on the large view screen "Threatening me that if she didn't break out then it would be you that would end my life, can you believe it?"

Arjun ignored the mad doctor's banter so he could focus on separating the machinery that had the valgary pinned to the wall.

"I can still see the disappointed look on her face I can, as she gave her last breath she asked why you weren't there to save her."

The Justicar turned to Carpender who watched in silence at his efforts as he shook his head at him, "Are you going fucking help me or what?!" the human said emotionally

Carpender floated where the silver knight couldn't reach and helped get Liken loose from the machinery where she fell into the Justicar's arms. The Justicar's helmet scanned for anything that would consider being a life sign but as he looked at her with his left hand supporting the back of her head, he didn't see Liken struggle to raise her left claw so the tips of her talons brushed against his armour.

The Justicar's armour detected the movement which notified its pilot immediately. Arjun let out a sigh of relief as the broken and bruised valgary let out a hacking cough.

"Liken!" Arjun said happily

"Arjun?" the valgary asked weakly

"We got you, your safe now." He answered

"I thought you wouldn't come..." she coughed

"Traffic was horrible on the way over" Arjun joked

Liken laughed but soon it became hacking coughs as she shivered from her body being so cold, Carpender waved for the human to bring the valgary over to a bloodied operating table where he recently just cleaned off.

"Liken's body has been under extreme stress as her very being was used to feed so many drones at one time." Carpender said as he felt the valgary's pulse with two fingers

"They can't possibly 'feed' all those drones we saw with just her." Arjun said as he looked at the valgary worried

"Of course not, the drones we saw in those storage bays would be fed by an even greater number of organics that ended up grafted into the walls, they were properly being recharged. An organic only becomes a cult monster if they are in shape if not then they are mere batteries for the Void God's army." Carpender explained

Liken groaned and shivered as she neared death with the mummy like creature trying to stabilize her with his own magic.

"With that many drones recharging at once they must be planning something big" Arjun said as he tried not letting his mind wander into dark places about the valgary's fate.

Malero laughed, "I can barely contain myself I can, but since you all won't be leaving this place alive I can say without regret that the human is right."

"What are you up to!?" Arjun demanded at the nearest view screen that was buzzed with static

"Soon we will have enough fully charged drones and experiments to sack the home world of the Draconian Kingdom. We will capture the Queen Matriarch who will accept the Void God as her lord and master giving the great god a physical form in this realm who will lead us in obliterating the rest of you miserable cretins in this realm before we launch invasions into the other realms!"

"Not if I can help it!' The Justicar yelled at the view screen

"I would let you go to see the end of your species, human, but Lord Vurdamis has given explicit orders to kill you with my trap." Malero said as the door to the room they were in began to buckle as cult monsters started to bash it down

Carpender nodded at Arjun as he floated away to contact the Seer for immediate teleportation. The Justicar grabbed Liken's claw with both hands and squeezed it softly to try and keep her from falling asleep on the rusted table.

"Seer we need you to get us out of here, pronto!" Carpender said telepathically

"It will be very difficult old friend, the mages of the cult have put up barriers, and I will only be able to break them in time." The Seer answered back

Carpender turned to Arjun who watched the valgary head's fall back onto the table with the silver knight still holding her cold claw as he didn't know if she passed out or passed on.

"Arjun, we are going to have to hold this area so the Seer can bring us back out of Dark Spire." Carpender said

The Justicar drew his sword as he turned to Carpender as his helmet hid his emotions well from the doctor, "I'll keep them more at bay, I'll keep them dead." Arjun said

With his boot raised the Justicar kicked down the door that lead back into the arena, the metal rusted door flattened several cult monsters along with knocking a number away. The Justicar found himself looking at a horde of the experiments with legions towering over the swarm. Arjun ran as fast as he could into the charging swarm of undead thinking only about completely ripping apart each of the hideous monsters he could get a hold on that would bring him a small amount solace.

In a fearsome yell that Arjun didn't even think he could produce the Justicar's armour became engulfed in energies blessed by the guardian of life himself that created the silver knight to become a glowing, incorporeal holy champion of awesome power. The holy warrior now consumed in yellow energies leaped into the air as he descended into the horde of abominations.

The Justicar crashed into the swarm with a deafening boom that caused all the cult monsters near him to be vaporized by his rampart energy. With a swipe of his blade his weapon unleashed a blast shaped by the motion of his weapon that turned the blood crazed cult monsters into nothing but ash. Holy powers engulfed the view ports on the Justicar's helmet as he carved a path through the never ending horde of undead as he screamed inhuman tones at his adversaries.

"You think killing us will bring you victory?" Malero laughed "This is true power organic!"

Carpender walked out of the room and yelled at the Justicar who battled the horde of monsters, "The Seer has brought Liken back to the ship and he needs you back here so we can go together!"

The Justicar unleashed anther blast of energy that vaporized the experiments in front of him giving the glowing knight breathing room as he ran back to the private experimentation area.

"Carpender the cult magi have tripled their efforts into stopping me, I only have the power to bring one back before they will completely shut me out." The Seer regretfully said

"I understand" Carpender answered

The Justicar walked up to the floating doctor as his powers began to fade away leaving him back to his original silver armour.

"Let's get the hell out of here 'doc" Arjun said

"The Seer only has enough power to bring one of us back." Carpender said without emotion

Arjun shook his head knowing what Carpender would do, "OH hell no you are not staying here."

"You are far too important to be turned by the Void God besides I am too old to keep fighting, my tale ends here."

"We will find a way to get both of us out!" Arjun yelled

Carpender looked into passageway that led to the arena, "There is simply no time to argue human! Soon the Seer won't be able to get even just one of us out."

The Justicar swore as he kicked the ground as the horde of cult monsters closed in. Carpender patted Arjun on the shoulder before the Seer teleported the human out of Dark Spire leaving the doctor alone against the oncoming swarm.

[The Dorian Grey; Medical Ward; Medi-bay eighteen; 3,568 A.D, November 26th, 10:50AM]

Liken awoke inside the human's medical bay and found herself lying on a bed used for sick patients and beside where she was resting was the brown skin human out of his power armour who fell asleep on the stool he was sitting on. The valgary smiled and moved her tail so it whipped around from under the sheets of the bed and poked the human from behind on his shoulder until he woke up.

"Arjun?" She asked softly

The human took a long yawn as he opened his eyes before he widen them completely as he saw Liken was awake.

"Scales!" he said happily trying to keep his voice for the rest of the medical bay patients

A marine in red and white power armour walked over with an electronic clipboard in hand to update the valgary's condition.

"How is she, doc?" Arjun asked

"I haven't seen anything like this before, both patient and condition. She is stable for the moment but we are going to have to keep her here for a while to make sure nothing is wrong." The medic nodded before he attached the clip board to the frame of the bed and went off to anther patient

"Are you going to be ok?" Arjun asked concerned

"The human said I was goi-"Liken answered before being interrupted

"I mean mentally."

"I was told about what Carpender did for us" Liken said quietly, "Everyone I know is gone now..."

"I'm here, aren't I?" Arjun answered

Liken smiled, "Yeah, I guess you are."

The human looked behind him at the digital clock on the wall before he turned back to Liken.

"I better get going." Arjun said as he got up

"Wait." Liken said as she looked around nervously before continuing, "I want to talk..."

Arjun laughed, "No problem, hit me."
