First off, I don't own any chars of the Digimon series or any names that involved in this story because they belong to respective owners. However, I do own the char named Al and the mysterious guest in this chapter. I apologized first hand if there are spelling and/or grammar errors because English is my second. Any other introduction will be the same as the previous. Anything else, please enjoy.

Chapter 47: Search and Rescue, The White Eyes and The Emerald Eyes.

Back at the forest with the senior Destinies, the human tamers began to trace their partners after minutes they left. Their speed weren't as fast as the Digimons so it takes more time to reach the last of the chase. They finally saw Kerpymon from a distant. Kerpymon also heard someone coming. He looked at where the footsteps came from and saw Kari, TK and Suzie running towards him.

Kerpymon waved at them to greet them. By the time the tamers arrived at where Kerpymon sat, they saw Kerpymon is sitting on a Snimon. "Hey everyone." Kerpymon greeted.

"Kerpymon, why are sitting on the Snimon and where are the others?" Suzie asked.

"Al said to calm him down, so I sat on him on the ground." Kerpymon answered while pointing at the Snimon. "He's probably knocked out by now. As for the others, they went that way." Kerpymon pointed at where Al and the rest run.

"Let's go. I have a bad feeling about it." Kari said gesturing the rest.

"All right." Kerpymon stood up leaving the Snimon to rest unconscious. "I'll take you guys there. Climb onto me." Kerpymon leaned down so TK can ride on his back neck. Kerpymon lifted Kari and Suzie with each of his paw. They dashed toward where the rest went.

After minutes hopping through the woods, they heard growls and explosion from a distant. After hopping several more times, they finally saw Holydramon is wrapping the Snimon and Seraphimon is holding both scythe claws with his hand face to face.

"Seraphimon!" TK howled. "Holydramon!" Kari also howled.

"Hey, TK." Seraphimon greeted with a slight growl of struggle. "I'm kind of busy at the moment. Would you mind to see how Al's doing?"

"Wish I could, but I rather help you instead." TK jumped off from Kerpymon and took a card out. He looked at the card and it was Lillymon card. TK slashed the card at his D - Server and yelled out an attack "Temptation!"

Seraphimon's wings starts glowing and faded within a second. Some pollen leaked out from his wings. Seraphimon nodded and flapped his wings at Snimon. The Snimon gagged after breathing the pollen and moved backward slowly. Soon, the Snimon tremble and fall to its knees because the effect of the pollen. The pollen also hit the bonded Snimon and grew weaker. The pollen somehow drained the life of the nearest victim who inhaled it and thus gave the weaken effect.

When everything seems calm, Seraphimon flapped his wings hard to blow the pollen away. The pollen somehow disappeared after being blown by the gust of wind. Holydramon loosen her bind and let go of the weaken Snimon. After both Snimons were weakened, Seraphimon and Holydramon gave them a knockout punch.

"That should calm them for a while." Holydramon huffed at the Snimons. "Hurry, we have to get to Al fast."

"Why should we hurry?" Seraphimon asked within pants of exhaustion.

"I have a very bad feeling about him when we fought the Snimons." Holydramon growled at Al's direction.

"I felt the same thing." Kari agreed with her left hand clench on her chest.

"Then come on, we have little time left." Holydramon growled and lowered herself.

Kari jumped off from Kerpymon and rushed toward Holydramon's back. After Kari rode on her back, they went flying towards Al. Seraphimon followed and Kerpymon too after lifting TK into his paw. By the time they almost reach the destination, they heard continues splash. All of them assumed that they heard waterfall. They rushed forward for a minute or two just to see the last Snimon still crawling around the edge of the cliff and not Alphonse or the yellow figure.

Suzie and Kari gasped in terror assuming that Al and the yellow figure got killed by Snimon, while the rest were rage by his death. Holydramon lunged toward the last Snimon and deliver a deadly bite from its mid to upper body.

The last Snimon is dead and no sign of Al or the yellow figure anywhere. Their last thoughts were either they were fell or shattered into data. "Oh my God, Al is dead." Suzie stuttered. "He can't be dead, not like this."

"NO!" Holydramon shouted, tears bursting out from her eyes, teeth were clenched and hitting the ground. "This isn't happening." Her body slowly glowed and her form was reverted back to Gatomon. "He can't be dead." She said still crying.

"We... we don't k-know for s-sure, Gatomon." TK replied within his clenching teeth. His fist is also clenching hard that blood coming out because of his nails. "W-we h-have to tell them w-hat was going on." TK placed his hand on Kari and Suzie to tell them to move out.

Seraphimon landed closer to Gatomon and starts to glow. He reverted back again as Patamon and placed his paw at Gatomon's shoulder. "Come on, Gatomon. We should get out of here first and fast."

Gatomon yanked her shoulder so Patamon's paw got swatted. "NO! I won't go until I know that he is still alive." She yelled.

Kerpymon sighed in defeat because of the prophecy won't be fulfilled. He suddenly heard roar coming from a far. "Guys, I heard a roar coming from a far. The Snimon that I sat on is awaken and its calling more help."

"Damn we are out of time." TK grunted. "Patamon! Evolve into Pegasmon now." TK showed his D - Server and it start glowing.

Patamon nodded and jumped backward for some space. His body starts glowing as well; attracting some ribbons of data and cover him like a cocoon. Inside the cocoon, Patamon's body starts to shatter leaving only grids of his body. Patamon's body, legs, neck and muzzle starts expanding, long enough till he is as sizeable as a horse. In front of him lies a yellow egg like armor with an orange wing like Patamon's ears and long blond fur. The egg started to dismantle separating different parts of armor for Patamon. Four parts jolt onto each foot and forming armor hooves. One part jolt to his torso, and last part embed onto his head like a helmet. After the armor pieces were set, the data started to fill in the blanks and adding wings and long blond mane and tail to finish the transformation.

Pegasmon expands his wing to shatter the cocoon, telling TK that the evolution is complete. TK nodded and looked at Kerpymon. "Take Kari and Suzie to the portal. I'll deal with Gatomon." TK ordered. Kerpymon nodded and carry them out. "Come on, Gatomon. We've got to go now." He told her with a pat on her shoulder.

"NO! I don't want to and I don't care!" She yelled while crying her eyes out.

"Well I do, whether you like it or not!" TK yelled at her and picked her up. She starts struggling, telling him to let her go. TK did not comply and hopped onto Pegasmon. Once TK was fasted, Pegasmon expanded his wings and starts flapping off to the portal. Gatomon is still struggling in TK's grasp. She even clawed her way out. TK endured the pain while Pegasmon worried about TK. She kept on clawing him to let go until she felt a drip of water at her head. She looked up to expect a rain, but she saw TK crying. "I know how you feel, but right now safety of the team is our first priority. If I know better, he would say the same thing." TK said it within gritted teeth. She slumped in defeat after hearing the words Al might say. Gatomon's eyes wide in shock just to see his body have gash and cut marks because of her clawing her way out. She starts whimpering in TK's arm while flying to the gate.

At the waterfall scenery, the area is considered beautiful to average eyes because of waterfall falling down from the river cliff. Beneath the waterfall lies a large pond, followed with a stream for any habitats to drink. The forest itself holds beauty like any rain forest. But, where they are waterfalls, they mostly have a small cavern behind it. Behind the waterfall, lies a medium size cave that can be use as a hidden storage. It is also had a small pond that connects to the outside of the waterfall. From it, a claw burst out from the water, struggling to grab any dry surface it could reaches. Seconds afterwards, someone burst out from the water, gasping for air. It was none other than white eyes WarGreymon named Al. 'Thank God I'm still alive.' He looked around in panic to find someone. He saw a yellow fur body floating on the surface of the pond. He quickly grabbed it and let the head on the surface. It was a female Renamon and she starts coughing for air. Al kept the head on the surface for a while until she stopped coughing. Al put his head closer to her mouth only to hear a wheezing breath, telling him that she has an internal injury. 'Oh no, I must hurry.'

He quickly walked towards to higher ground to let her rest. He quickly changed back into an Agumon to help her. He quickly reaches for his card only to feel something wet on his gauntlet. 'What the...?' He looked at his gauntlet to see that the cards were soaked because of the water. He cursed himself for unfortunate luck and event, but the healing cards are the best option to heal her and now they were useless because they were wet. 'There's no way I can use this anymore. Even if I waited till dry, she won't make it.' He wanted to get help but he can't go further because of the injuries from the waterfall. He was thankful because of the Glitch for giving him high recovery.

It struck him like a bat that he still has the Glitches, but he don't want to use it on her. It might infect her and gone berserk, but she is dying because of internal and external injuries. He don't want to give her but he had no other choices. He slowly raised his right claw and starts focusing his power on his claw. 'I'm sorry for this.' He jabbed his claw into Renamon's body with a yell "Data Manipulation!"

Renamon gasped from the impact and her body tensed but she is still unconscious. Al started uploading his high recovery Glitch into her body, but he can only gave her small part because it was the first time he ever done it to a real Digimon. He retracted his claw when he thinks he gave her enough Glitches. All he has to do is to wait for it to work. Her breathing began to recover slowly after five minutes, telling him that she is going to be fine. 'Thank God, she survived the Glitch.' Al sighed in relief and slowly collapse next to her to recover.

At Gennai's mansion, the team received grief news about Al's death again. "My God, this isn't happening." Yolei gasped.

"We don't want to believe it either, but we didn't find any body or the remaining of him." TK answered.

"What if he was been devour by Snimon?" Rika asked.

"If he does, then the shattered data will be mix with Snimon." Lopmon answered. "So far, I didn't see it."

"If that is true, then he is still alive and suffering." Juri responded.

"Not to mention, there is another Digimon with him." Gatomon replied.

Some of the group looked at Gatomon. "Another Digimon?" Ken asked.

"We saw someone before the Snimons. We believe that the Snimons were chasing it." Gatomon answered.

"What kind of Digimon is it?" Renamon asked.

"It looks like you, Renamon." Gatomon answered. "Only Al and I can guess it."

"What should we do now?" Davis asked while scrunching his forehead to think.

It is a quarter hour of silent until Izzy make a suggestion. "Maybe we can do something. I could trace where he was before you guys return." That gave them a slight hope to find Al. Izzy nodded and quickly sat at the front of the computer and start typing. "One part of the data contains every activity all of you did these days. All I need is to zoom in the map at where you were before and upload the previous data."

"How did you collect all of this?" Davis asked.

"The comm. that our partner use contains a GPS signal and it shows on the radar map." Izzy answered. Every Digimon in the room spontaneously touched their ear piece and pull it out to see in disbelief. They went silent for a minute to watch the playback on the radar map. They saw five green dots on the map where Al's team was gathering some flowers. After an hour or two with fast forward, the five dots were moving and headed towards the portal. Next up, all the five dots stopped moving for a minute. "This is where we heard a roaring sound and Renamon appeared being chased by Snimons." Gatomon explained. The four dots went into the forest while the last dot went to the portal and stop. "That is when Al told me to guard the portal." Tentomon explained. The four dots keep on moving fast and one of them went stop. "That's when I body slam the last Snimon." Lopmon explained. The three dots keep on moving for minutes until two more went stop. "This is where we intercept another two Snimons and that was the last time we see him." Patamon explained.

The last dot keeps on moving until its stop at the edge of a river. Minutes afterwards, the dot moved directly at the river and at the large pond. Second later, the dot turned yellow at the pond. "Oh-oh, that can't be good." Izzy responded.

"What is it?" Palmon asked.

"The radar told me that Al was lost at the pond and pretty much survives." Izzy answered.

"Oh-no." Tentomon gasped.

"What is it?" Tai asked.

"That's where the large waterfall should be, and that place is beautiful too." Tentomon answered.

"No wonder." Lopmon responded. "I heard splash like waterfall at that cliff."

"Could they be dead by the waterfall?" Yolei asked.

"If I know better about Al, he is a tough being for a human or Digimon." Guilmon answered. "Takato agreed with me, as well as most of us. I am sure he is alive. Have faith in him."

"All right, we should begin the search once the team is complete." Gennai concluded. Everybody nodded and Kari send message to Jake, Zane and Derek.

Back at the cave, Renamon regained her conscious and gasped in surprise and pain. 'Where am I?' She looked around just to see that she is in a cave and it's behind the waterfall. She tried to remember how she got here. She then remembered that she fell from the cliff because someone dragged her. 'That WarGreymon, where is he?' Her emerald green eyes wondered more just to find an Agumon with white armband and weird gauntlet lie down at her side unconscious. 'Is he the one?' She moved closer to sniff him. 'It is him, the one I've told to watch for it and alive too. Most of all, is he the one who save me?' She won't know the answers until he woke up.

An hour has passed; she got nothing to do except looking at the waterfall and Al to check everything up. She is also slight hungry and wanted to get some food, but she can't leave him here alone and defenseless. Then again, no one expect a cave behind the waterfall so she moved out to get something to eat. At nearby trees, she found variants of fruits and berries for her to eat and few leaf balms to heal her wounds. She took several fruits, berries and leaf balms and brought it back to the cave.

When she arrived at the cave, Al is still unconscious. She takes her time to put down the foods and herbs and enjoying the fruit. Al started to stir after 15 minutes passed. Al looked at his surrounding with his squinted vision. "You finally awake." Al heard a female voice. "I was worried that you might be dead." She said.

"If I was, I would be bits of data by now." Al answered in mumble. Al slowly rose up to sit. "How long I was out cold?"

"Not long after I woke up." Renamon answered. "Why did you save me?"

"One of my newly develop habits, to save innocent life whether they were human or Digimon." Al answered. He looked at the entrance to see the waterfall. "Lucky I found this cave by accident, otherwise we won't be alive till now." Al's stomach starts to rumble. "And it is almost noon."

Renamon throws a fruit she picked at him. "Eat it."

"Thanks for the fruit and cold shoulder, sister." Al thanked her and ate the fruit slowly while looking at the cave entrance. Al considered quite annoyed by her cold shoulder. He then noticed that she has the chance to run when he was out cold. "Can I ask you something?" Her emerald green eyes focused on him. "Why didn't you run?" she remained quite. Al didn't see any reaction, he remembered about being spied by someone. "I re-phrase, why did you stalk me?" Again, she remained quiet to maintain her coldness. "I re-phrase, Why didn't you kill me?" That's when her pupil and ears twitch but she remain quiet. Al saw it and remained quiet waiting for her answer. "I see, I won't argue again. Oh, for a Renamon, you need to lighten up a bit." He continued finishing his fruit and gets a second by himself. When he starts biting his second fruit, he heard her voice again.

"I... thank you, for saving my life." She said with a mumble voice, feeling uneasy to say it.

"That's a start, shall we started again from the top?" Al asked her with a smile. "Hi, you may be known who I am, but I'm Alphonse Revenant. You can call me Al for short. I am a unique Agumon. What is your name?"

"I... don't have a name. We Renamon know each other by scent, but you can call me Renamon." She answered.

Al scratches his head, feeling a bit confuse. "Sorry, I can't call you that because it is already taken." Al responded.

"Then I guess I don't have one. Sorry." She replied with a blush.

"Please, do not feel sorry for it. Although in the future, I will be confuse between you and another Renamon. Oh wait, I do now. You have an emerald eye while the other one is blue sky. Then again I do confuse. Who knows how many Renamon that have the same characteristic?" Al explained. He began to scrunch his forehead to think hard, which confused her.

"Are you okay?" she asked but no answer. She slightly tilted her head in confusion.

"I'm trying to find a nice name for you, and I just got one. How does 'Amelia' sound like?" Al asked to her.

She thinks that name and repeats it again in her mind. "I think it is a nice name and I like it." She answered.

"Then it is yours. It's the least I could do for dragging you to the cliff and fell from the waterfall." Al replied with a guilty face. He continued eating in silent.

"About your questions." The emerald eye Renamon who now become Amelia answered. "I can't run because you might get killed when you're unconscious and who know whose cave is this. It might belong to another Digimons. Second, I did stalk you recently because I was ordered to. My clan thinks you might be one of the dangerous threats for Digital World and kill you if necessary. The last one, I have a doubt at the moment. My order is to kill you if necessary. But deep inside, I can feel that you are innocent and just another victim from the plague."

"The plague?" Al asked in confusion.

"I saw what the plague did. It makes you crazy and wild for no reason." She answered.

"Ah... that. We have other names for it, and it is Glitch. It is a virus that somehow got leaked from another world into this world." Al responded. "It is still unknown to us and still looking for the cure. But some of the Glitches help me and my team to fight against it. It even helps you to survive from the waterfall when you shouldn't."

Her food left from her hand because she was shocked after hearing the news. "You... infect me with the plague?" She asked in shock and fear.

"I did it because I've got no choice." Al answered feeling more guilty.

"How COULD you, do you know what you have DONE?" she asked in anger.

"I did it so I could save you, otherwise you might die."

"But you have branded me as an outcast. I'd rather die than get infected." She yelled and stood in anger.

"But I don't want to lose you again, just like the other Renamon." Al answered and suddenly realized what he just said.

"What do you mean?" She asked still in fear, anger and confusion.

"I... had a crush for her once, but I lost her." Al answered in embarrassed. "When I see you the first time, that feeling came back to me. If you died and disintegrate, I don't know when will I see you or find you again. I don't want to lose anything again."

Amelia walks slowly to him and kneeled in front of him. Al closed his eyes, waiting for a slap, punch or scratch came to him. She hugged him instead which makes him surprise. "I'm sorry for your lost. She got killed by the plague as well."

"Actually, she was taken by other Digimon, not killed by the Glitch." Al answered.

Amelia looked at Al and then slapped him on the face. "That is for worrying me about your girl."

"I deserve that, but it won't change the fact that I love you because of her." Al answered while rubbing his slapped cheek. He suddenly heard a splash coming from the water. They looked at the water just to see a Gomamon is looking right at them.

"Who is that?" Amelia asked.

"I found you at last, Al." Gomamon replied. And he dived down again.

"That was Gomamon from my team. They came to look for me." Al answered her question. Al was smiling when he answered her question. Minutes later, Gomamon, green eye Guilmon named Derek, BlackGabumon named Jake and SnowAgumon named Zane burst in from the waterfall. Gomamon, Agumon, Guilmon, Lopmon, and Veemon followed them in. "Oh-oh, better stand back, Amelia. I expect a group hug when some of them are here." Al said that to her half just to tease her and other half were expecting it.

Guilmon, Lopmon and Derek jumped forward to hug Al and that makes Amelia stare them in surprise. Their hugs were tight, it makes Al suffocate. "I can't breathe, you guys." They quickly let go of him. "If you guys doing this often when I'm gone, I should quit ahead before getting killed." Al answered within gasped.

"We thought you were dead." Lopmon answered.

"Thanks to Izzy, we finally found you with that something-radar." Agumon continue.

"Well, I'm glad that you guys found me because I'm starting to catch a cold." Al teased them.

"Then what are you waiting for." Tai entered the cave. "Shall we head home?"

"Gladly." Al simply answered. He then remembered Amelia the emerald eye Renamon. "There is one more thing I need to do." Al looked at her as his friends followed the motion. They just realized there is another Digimon watching all of them all the time. Al smiled at all of her and offered a claw to her. "Would you like to come with us, Amelia?" Amelia had a second doubt for trusting him while looking at his claw. She know that she shouldn't trust him easily, but her feeling tell her to trust him for now. Amelia nodded and took his offer. All of them went back to the mansion not entirely empty-hand, because Al's mission was to gather flowers for Soul but ends up making a new friend with emerald eye Renamon who named her Amelia.
