Chapter 1
In a distance a red, tired sun melts away in the ocean, the waves washes away the last trails on the sand.
The beach is silent; a malamute is sitting on the sand. He picks up a shell and throws it as far as possible; he gets up and walks to his car standing on the road not far behind him.
He gets in and closes the door -waving one last time at the ocean. A tear rolls down his muzzle, he starts the engine.
As he drives away he looks at the stars forming at the sky, he closes his eyes and says softly:
"I wish he was here; it has been six months now"
The car drives into a small garage; he gets out and walks inside his little apartment.
As he enters it, a German shepherd awaits him at the door; he runs and hugs the dog tightly.
"Your back, I missed you so much Ralph"
The dog kisses him on the muzzle and hugs him lovingly
"Yes, I missed you too Ray"
Ray picks up Ralph's suitcase and as he start walking to his room, Ralph grabs at Ray's paw and says:
"No, wait"
Ray looks at Ralph and smiles
"Yes Ralph, Something wrong?"
Ralph takes the suitcase from Ray's paw and puts it on the ground
"I am already staying with someone else; I just came to say I am back"
Ray looks confused and looks at Ralph's brown eyes:
"What do you mean? I thought you were moving in with me"
Ralph takes both Ray's paws in his and looks at him
"I have met someone incredible while I was away. We have fallen in love, I am sorry but it is over between us Ralph. I thought I should tell you later, but now I did...please don't be mad at me. We can still be friends..."
Ray looks down and a tear drops on the ground, he looks up and asks really angrily:
"I loved you so much, now you come and tell me it is over? No! I won't accept that. You told me you loved me. Why...why...Ralph"
Ray turns around and walks in his room, he smashes the door close. He locks it and falls on the bed, he hugs the pillow as he cries.
Ralph, who was standing in front of the locked door -takes a small key that was in his pocket and unlocks the door.
He walks inside and lies next to Ray; slowly he caresses Ray's shoulder and whispers:
"You know you can't get away from me, I am sorry but we must talk this over"
Ray turns around and looks at the German shepherd dog in front of him, he grabs Ralph's chest and softly cries against it.
"Why...don't you love me?"
Ralph hugs Ray and looks at him, holding he's head up with his paw
"I do love you Ray and always will, but I can't be married to two people at the same time"
Ray looks up and rubs a tear from his eyes and asks:
"What do you mean marry?"
Ralph puts his head on top of Ray's
"I am getting married to him"
Ray pushes Ralph away and screams:
"If you are getting married to him -that means you rejected my feelings for you. I asked you to move in with me and we marry when you get back...you answered yes. You rejected me for some scumbag you met, whilst you were away!"
"I hate you Ralph, get out of my apartment now!"
Ralph moves closer to Ray
"Please Ray understand...I do still love you, don't be mad at me please. I am deeply in love with him and really want to marry him."
Ray looks even angrier at Ralph
"I guess what we did in bed was just for your fun, you screwed around with me just for your pleasures."
Ralph moves even closer to Ray
"No, don't you hear. I loved you too Ray, what we did in bed has nothing to do with this."
Ray rips of his shirt and starts pulling of his pants, Ralph jumps up and tries to stop him.
"Stop it Ray! what are you doing?"
Ray stands naked in front of Ralph
"Screw me Ralph, I don't care anymore. At least I will mean something to you as a screw toy"
Ralph grabs Ray's arms but Ray punches him to one side with his paw
"Come on, rape me Ralph!"
Tears form in Ralph's eyes and he touches the place Ray hit him on his muzzle.
"Why did you hit me Ray?"
Ray looks at Ralph as tears start flowing out of he's eyes, he lands in front of Ralph and hugs him as he softly cries.
"I am sorry...just...just leave, I beg you. You are breaking me apart"
Ralph gets up and walks out of the room; he picks up his suitcase and exits out of the door. Ray puts his clothes back on and follow him; he stands at his apartment door and watches as Ralph gets in a black car waiting outside. Inside an Alsatian is waiting for him, he puts his suitcase in the back and gets in.
The Alsatian hugs him and rubs the tears from Ralph's eyes, the Alsatian looks at Ray with a questionable face. Ray and Ralph stare at each other -both with sad faces. The Alsatian starts the car and they drive off slowly disappearing down the road.
Ray closes the door and leans against the wall, tears roll from his eyes as he stares at a photo hanging on the wall.
It was taken on new years day, he and Ralph holding each other like they were inseparable. He walks over to the picture and throws it on the floor; the glass frame explodes as it hits the ground. He stares at the picture and falls to his knees; he picks up the picture and rubs the broken pieces of glass off it.
"Why didn't you love me enough to pick me?" He thought as he held the picture against his chest.
He puts it on a small table and walks to his room; he lies on his bed.
Softly Ray whispers to himself as he falls asleep:
"I wish something really bad happens to them"
Meanwhile...
Ralph and the Alsatian drive into a garage, Ralph stares at the Alsatian and says:
"I am going to the bathroom; just wait here for me Cale"
Ralph walks over to the bathroom; he enters it and relieves himself at one of the toilets. As he exits he stops as he watches Cale filling the car with petrol, a tiger stands behind Cale and walks closer to him.
The tiger stands behind Cale and says:
"Hey puppy, see you had a little friend back there"
Cale turns around and stares at the tiger
"Yes, what of it?"
The tiger walks closer to him and takes grabs Cale's shirt
"I don't like faggots"
Cale pushes the tiger off him and says angrily
"Get alive; it's not my problem if you don't like us."
The tiger jumps on Cale and starts smashing his fists in Cale's stomach
"Yes, but I can still have fun beating you up."
Ralph runs and jumps on the tiger, he smashes his fist against the tiger's mouth but the tiger throws him to one side.
"You will pay for that dog"
The tiger removes a knife from his jacket and plunges it in Cale's throat; he takes it out and stabs Ralph in his stomach. The tiger runs away and laughs while doing so...
"Die faggots, die..."
Ray's apartment...
Ray wakes up as a sun beam falls on his face; he gets up and walks to the front door. Ray opens it and picks up the newspaper. He walks to the kitchen and puts it on a table; he takes a slice of bread and his coffee and reads the heading:
"Two stabbed at Garage"
He starts to panic as he reads the article:
"Two dogs, an Alsatian and a German shepherd have been stabbed by an attacker last night at the north city Garage.
The dogs have been found this morning by the locals, they described it as a gruesome
site. The ambulance were called in and they were both hospitalized, the German shepherd
Is currently in a comma and suffers a great amount of blood loss. Sadly the Alsatian didn't make it, police and detectives are searching for the attacker.
We rest our heads for these poor souls and hope the German shepherd recovers from the comma.
Justice will be served"
Ray jumps up as he reads the last words; he puts on his shoes and runs to the car. He drives out of his garage and drives to the local hospital. He parks outside and runs inside; he walks to the front desk and quickly asks the nurse:
"Where is Ralph Anderson?"
The nurse looks on her computer and slowly she lifts her cup of coffee, she slowly starts to drink it. She looks up and says very slowly:
"Are you friend or family?"
Ray jumps up and down and says quickly:
"What does it matter, I just want to see him"
The nurse slowly looks up and says:
"Please sir; it's a very simple question."
Ray rolls his eyes and quickly says:
"Friends, Ok! Now where is he?"
She looks under the table and she takes out a form and slowly takes out a pen from her coat:
"Please fill out the form...sir"
Ray looks really frustrated at the nurse and says:
"I don't have time! Just tell me where he is."
She puts the form in front of him and says:
"If you fill in the nice form you can go see him"
Ray grabs the pen from her and starts filling in the form. After he has filled it in he smashes it in front of her.
"Here, now tell me...Where is Ralph Anderson?"
She looks at the computer and slowly says:
"Room one"
He smashes his paw against his head in frustration, he turns around and walks in room one which was right behind him. He looks at the nurse and whispers:
"I hate these slow nurses"
The nurse smiles at him and rolls her eyes:
"I hate these fast locals, always trying to push poor miss sloth."
As Ray enters the room he sits next to Ralph and he says:
"I am sorry something this bad had to happen to you Ralph."
Ray caresses Ralph's head; softly he puts his other paw on Ralph's bandage. He lays his head on Ralph's chest and softly whispers:
"This would not have happened if you stayed with me Ralph. We had so much potential as a small couple; I could have made you the happiest dog in the whole world..."
Ray's eyes fills with tears, he caresses Ralph's face. He hugs Ralph and sits on the chair as a doctor enters the room. The doctor looks at him and smiles:
"Don't worry sir, he is doing very well."
Ray looks at the doctor and replies:
"I know, I can see it in his appearance."
The doctor takes a pulse reading from Ralph and looks at Ray
"Did you study medical?"
Ray blushes and answers:
"Yes, but I left medical and studied web publishing. I like doing stuff on the computer."
The doctor grins and softly whispers:
"I like doing stuff on the computer too, but don't tell my wife about it."
Ray laughs at the doctor's words and says:
"I think you just told her, look behind you."
The doctor turns around and an angry looking vixen is standing behind him. She starts to laugh at the doctor's shocked face.
"Don't worry we will talk later mister."
She walks in front of Ray and puts out her paw
"Clarice, I am the doctor's wife."
Ray shakes her paw and stands up from the chair
"Ray, pleased to meet you misses Clarice."
Clarice puts her paw on Ray's shoulder and says confidently:
"Your friend will be alright, my husband is the best doctor in this facility."
Ray smiles at the young vixen and walks to the door, he turns around and waves at the doctor and his wife.
"I have to go now, thank you and goodbye."
The doctor and his wife look at Ray and wave goodbye, the vixen walks to Ralph's bed and puts another pillow under his head.
"What a nice dog, we should take good care of his friend here."
The doctor agreed and they both exit the room, leaving Ralph to rest in peace.
Ralph's dream...
Ralph is standing in a forest carrying his trusty machine gun; he turns around and sees Cale next to him. They are both wearing bullet proof vests and are equipped with knives, revolvers and machine guns.
Cale looks at Ralph and kiss him on his muzzle; they both smile at each other and look concerned at each other's bodies.
Ralph puts his hand on Cale's shoulder; he puts his gun down and hugs Cale. Cale puts his gun down too and looks at Ralph.
"Ralph, we can't do it here. What if they find out...we would be in great trouble."
Cale ignores Ralph and starts removing his clothes.
"I don't care Ralph, I love you."
They run deep in the forest till they reach a small cave, they climb in and lay against a big rock. They put their guns down and start removing each other's clothes and extra items they were wearing. Ralph and Cale pant as they remove their vests, Ralph moans as Cale started pulling of his underwear.
Cale and Ralph kiss each other passionately, Ralph's member pushes against Cale's stomach; Cale takes Ralph's member and rubs it against his sac. Cale moves down and puts Ralph's doggy meat in his muzzle. He sucks at the tip as semen drips from it.
Cale pants harder and moans as Ralph licks his knot; He takes Cale's member and messages it with his paw. They both started humping each other as the anxiety raised; Ralph released his load in Cale's mouth as Cale caressed and sucked his member.
Cale's member stood erect, Ralph moved down until his muzzle touched Cale's member. He started to suck at Cale's member; Cale humped faster, as he does so Ralph sucks on his member.
Finally Cale release streams of doggy semen in Ralph's mouth. They both position themselves over each other and they kiss passionately.
Ralph tastes his semen as he kiss Cale, as he does so he tastes something, he licks at the strange fluid leaking out of Cale's mouth. His tong licks at the fluid, "What is it, it tastes familiar" He thought tasting the fluids.
He opens his eyes and as he does so he sees streams of blood flowing out of Cale's mouth. He quickly gets up and there at the entrance stands Ray with a gun, he gets up and grabs Ray's shoulder.
"Why...why did you do that Ray?"
Tears flow from Ray's eyes; he throws Ralph against the rock.
"If I can't have you no one can!"
Ray lifts the gun and points it at Ralph
"Goodbye Ralph...I will join you soon in the underworld!"
Ray falls on his knees and begs Ray:
"Please...please don't kill me Ray"
Ray cries and falls next to Ralph, he softly whispers:
"You did not pick me Ralph, you picked him and you can die with him too."
Ralph feels as Ray shots a bullet in his heart, he falls against Cale.
Ray looks up; he puts out his paw as he sees Ray point the gun to he's own head.
"Ray...no...don't...kill yourself!"
He hears the bullet and Ray falls over him and Cale.
Chapter 2
All the doctors and nurses run in the room, they all stand around the bed as Ralph's heart meter runs faster.
"His heart is speeding up doctor"
The doctor screams back at the nurse
"Tell me something I don't know, quickly we must send electrical impulses to his heart or he could risk heart failure."
Ralph jumps up and everybody falls on the ground
"Ray, Ray! I want Ray!"
The doctor runs to him and quickly calms him:
"It's alright Ralph, you're in the hospital. Be calm everything is going to be alright, if you want we could call him."
Ray screams out loud:
"Yes, where is he?"
One of the nurses runs to the phone and quickly dials Ray's number
Meanwhile Ray is sitting on his chair watching television...
Ray gets up and walks to the phone as it rings, he picks it up
"Hello, Ray speaking."
This is the hospital; we want you to come as quickly as possible. Ralph has just woken up and he said we should call you.
Ralph puts the phone down without saying goodbye and gets in his car. He starts it and almost crash against another car driving past him. The driver curses him and drives off; Ray ignores the driver and quickly drives to the hospital. He stops in front and runs to Ralph's room, he find Ralph crying against Clarice as he enters the room.
Ralph doesn't notice Ray but he hears as Ralph cries out:
"It can't be; I was going to marry him."
Clarice hugs Ralph as she looks at Ray coming closer; Ray puts his paw on Ralph's shoulder and whispers:
"I am sorry about your loss Ralph."
Ralph turns around and hugs Ray, Ray doesn't hug Ralph...
"Ralph, You came...I am sorry about...last night"
Tears roll from Ray's eyes, he looks down and says:
"Clarice, Can you please give us some privacy; we need to talk about something"
Clarice looks at Ray and walks out the door -closing it behind her.
Ray looks at Ralph and puts his paw on Ralph's shoulder; Ralph looks at Ray very concerned.
"What's wrong Ray?"
Ray looks down at his feet, tears roll down his muzzle:
"It is my fault this happened to you Ralph, because of me you got hurt and Cale died."
Ralph lifts Ray's chin with his paw and says:
"It is not your fault Ray; some tiger attacked us for no reason."
Ray jumps up and screams at Ralph:
"I wished it Ray! I wished that something really bad should happen to you and it did!"
Ralph gets up and hugs Ray tightly against his chest as he starts to cry.
"Ray, I made you mad. I made you wish those things, I am sorry..."
Ray turns around and walks to the door, he puts his paw on the knob.
Ralph walks closer to him and says:
"You know you can't run away from me, Ray"
Ray looks at him and closes the door as he exits it, while doing so says:
"I can try, Ralph."
Ralph walks to his bed; he puts his head on the pillow and thinks to himself:
"I love them both so much, but now I only have one love left. My only love is fading away too and there is nothing I can do but watch."
A month later
Ralph gets up from a long night's sleep; he walks to the shower and turns it on. The water flows over his fur; he washes himself and gets out. He finished and put on his clothes; he walks down stairs and picks up the ringing phone.
"This is Ralph, who is this?"
The person on the phone is a general, he asks quickly:
"Ralph we need you on a new mission, we are sending you on a permanent one this time. We will pay you double what you get now and your job means a lot to the state."
Ralph answers with a strict tone in his voice:
"Who will I be working for?"
The voice answers Ralph:
"The s.a.p.s"
Ralph looks more interested and he asks:
"So where will I live?"
The general answers him:
"Probably not a place you would know, it is deep underground. That's all I can say, that and everybody who took this mission before died. Be sure you want to take it...we leave in tomorrow morning"
The general says goodbye and puts the phone down.
Ralph turns around and stares at the pictures on the wall, he looks proud at them and says:
"Working in the military has its goodies to."
Ralph walks to his kitchen and eats breakfast. He looks at a photo of him and Ray; he gets up and walks out the door. He gets in his car and drives to Ray's apartment, the car parks outside Ray's gate.
Ray gets out and walks to the door; he rings the bell and waits. Ray opens it and looks at Ralph.
"Hallo Ralph, can I help you?"
Ralph blushes and looks at Ray's feet, he realizes he drove all the way for no real reason.
"Hallo, just wanted to come over to see how it is going."
Ray rolls his eyes and says:
"Very well; come in then."
Ralph looks inside the apartment as he enters it; he looks at the picture of him and Ray lying on the small table. He picks it up and stares at it, Ray walks next to him and he blushes a little.
"It fell on the ground, accidents...you know happens all the time."
Ralph knows that Ray lies but says nothing he stands in front of Ray and asks:
"Ray what have you been up to?"
Ray smiles and says very anxiously:
"I got promoted to the company's head of web page publishing and development."
Ralph shakes Ray's paw and says:
"Congratulations Ray, I am proud that you are doing this well."
Ray turns around and they both enter the television room, Ray and Ralph sits in front of each other and Ray asks:
"Ralph and you what have you been up to?"
Ralph relaxes himself on the couch and answers:
"Nothing really, been to Cale's grave a few times but that's it."
Ray gets up and asks Ralph:
"Coffee or tea?"
Ralph answers Ray:
"Coffee please."
Ralph stares at the photos hanging on the wall; slowly he remembers the great times they had together and how they loved each other. He keeps on staring at the wall as Ray enters the room holding his coffee.
Ray looks at the wall and says:
"Great times bring back sad memories, huh?"
Ralph smiles at Ray and answers:
"No, I can't...stop...staring at that one."
Ralph is pointing at a picture of Ray and him. They are lying in bed holding each other; Ray is smiling at the camera -Ralph is still asleep.
Ray takes the photo off the wall and stares at it, he says:
"Yes, I remember that one very well. I took a picture of you and me on our first date, funny that I never really looked at it again."
Ralph gets up and walks in front of Ray he puts his paw on Ray's shoulder. He looks down and whispers in his ears:
"I am leaving tomorrow for another mission. This one is permanent; I won't come back ever again."
Ray looks shocked at Ralph and answers:
"What do you mean, never coming back?"
Ralph turns around and looks down, he answers with a sad voice:
"I want you to decide something; you must decide if you want me forever. If you say no; I will not ever return again."
Ray looks at Ralph and smiles, Ralph starts smiling too but Ray's face turns sad and so does Ralph's:
"You didn't like me in the first place Ralph, you picked Cale. He might be dead now and you and I can give it a try but, it is not worth it."
Ralph looks confused and sad, he asks sadly:
"Why?"
Ray looks angrily at Ralph:
"Once I asked you to move in with me, to become my husband. I was so happy to see you when I saw you that night. I always waited for you on the beach, to see your ship come in.
We always made love the night you came back; I loved you so much but my dreams were broken in half. You broke my heart; you killed me when I heard you were in love with someone else. I could not believe that Ralph -my sun and moon, left me for someone else. You threw me aside like a toy you were done playing with."
Ray turns around and looks down:
"Sorry Ralph, I guess this is goodbye then...forever."
Ralph and Ray hug each other, Ralph walks to the door. He turns around and waves goodbye, Ray closes the door and watches Ralph get in his car. Ralph doesn't look at Ray; he is too sad and drives away.
Ray walks back to his room and cries as he holds his pillow, he takes a photo album and looks at all the photos of him and Ralph.
He looked at them the whole day but fell asleep as he looked at them all again.
The moon falls over the city as it becomes night...
Ralph just packed his last bag; he looks at one of the photos on the wall and says:
"Goodbye Ray, I would have tried my best to be the best husband ever, if you gave me a chance."
A car parks outside and he locks the apartment's door, he takes his bags and puts them in the back. The car drives off down the road, Ray asks the soldier next to him:
"When exactly do we leave?"
The soldier-dog answers him:
"Tomorrow morning."
Ray turns around and stares at the passing buildings
"He waves goodbye as they drive towards the shipping docks."
Chapter 2
The sun slowly rises over the ocean; Ray wakes up and looks sadly at all the photos on the bed. "Look at this mess", he starts putting them away and as he does so the memories start to return to him. He smiles as he puts the last one away, he turns it around and a tear rolls on to it. He reads the small black imprint:
"Together forever"
Ray's face turns happier as he stares at the picture; he gets up and runs down stairs. He gets in his car and drives as fast as possible. He gets out and run to the harbor, he starts to cry as he sees Ralph getting on to the ship. He wants to scream out but he is too sad and starts to run just as Ralph gets on the ship.
He runs and he grabs Ralph, Ralph turns around and they hug each other. Ralph looks at Ray and asks:
"Why did you come and stop me?"
Ray grabs him and hugs him again
"I don't want you to go; I want to give it another chance. I know this sounds crazy but this time it will work Ralph.
Ralph whispers in Ray's ear:
"Sure?"
Ray answers with confidence:
"On Cale's grave I do"
Ray and Ralph gets in the car they drive past the beach and Ray says:
"I need to show you someplace special."
Ray's car stop on the beach and they get out, Ray takes Ralph to a rock on the beach. He looks at Ralph and sits on the rock, Ralph sits next to Ray and he holds him.
"What is so special about this rock Ray?"
Ray hugs Ralph and says:
"This rock was the only thing that waited with me when I waited for you."
Ray and Ralph kept sitting on the rock and stared at the ocean, they went back the end of the day.
A few months later they got married; Ralph quitted military and became a novelist.
Every day they went to the special place on the beach and watched the sun set, they lived happily for the rest of their lives.
