#20 of Next Generation- The Digivolution Saga

Feline Species:

Soramon: About 5 foot on average, some can be almost 6 foot tall. Tend to have blade or pulse type attacks, most common elements are wind, lightning and water. No real distinguishing features.

Sharamon: Digivolution of Soramon. Usually 6 to 7 feet tall. Secondary abilities are almost always related to speed, or escaping. Have forked tails, lengths of forks vary for a few inches to almost the entire length of the tail, making some appear to have twin tails.

Meramon: Female version of Soramon. Are born with a Roman-istic style dress/toga which become more extravagant as they Digivolve. Attacks tend to be missile type.

Theramon: Digivolution of Meramon. Female version of Sharamon, but are slightly shorter and do not have tail forking. Secondary abilities tend to be 'Buffs', though are used more for defence than attack.

Canine Species:

Ocsunemon: Heights can range from that of a child to a fully grown human adult and can be male or female. Are vulpine in appearance, looking similar to Renamon in build. Are highly social and will gather in small villages and towns. Elements tend to be earth, water and fire, and they normally have pulse or wall attacks.

Mitsunemon: Digivolution of Ocsunemon. As very few Ocsunemon actually digivolve, most Mitsunemon gain a prefix to their name to do with their element, common ones are Flame, Rock and Wave. Secondary ability tends to be control of their element.

Canimon: Digivolution of Puppimon. About 6 feet tall in general, females can be shorter. They are thin and lithe, with the appearance of a grey hound or whippet. Elements are normally light, air and lightning, most have a focus type attack, but some have a slash type. Secondary abilities tend to be stunning of their opponents.

Lycamon: Wholly human in appearence, they can have a variety of height and figures. Element is always shadow, they are one of the few mono-element digimon species. All have the ability to alter their form through varying degrees, though the more they become altered, the harder it is for them to return to their original form.

Plant Species:

Dendromon: 4 to 5 feet tall. Look like forest nymphs, basically green humans with plant matter growing from them. Their blood is similar to sap, and has high nutritional and medicinal qualities, allowing Dendromon to heal extremely quickly. Elements are either nature or earth, attacks are always missile types.

Humanoid Species:

Celestemon: Heights can range from that of a child to a teen. Look like angels, with the youngest having a similar chubby appearance to cherubs. Element is always light, and they can have pulse, missile or focus type attacks, though a rare few have immensely powerful blade type attacks.

Archenglewomon: Digivolution of Celestemon. Tend to be on slightly shorter than Archenglemon, and are muscular, but not overly so. Secondary abilities tend to be group buffs or healing.

Achillemon: Basically male form of Celestemon. They tend to be more brash than their female counter-parts and often take part in challenges and dares.

Archenglemon: Digivolution of Achillemon. Tend to be at least 7 feet tall, with large muscular builds. Secondary abilities are often buffs like rallying or war cries.

Reptile Species:

Zarumon: Digivolution of ...Large muscular lizard man. Elements tend to be earth, fire or water. Attack are always focus, this means they tend to live in an environment akin to their element.

Taur Species:

Garumon: Digivolution of... Cross between a centaur and a minotaur. Elements tend to be earth, nature and shadow. Attacks are normally wall or pulse.

Avian Species:

Insectoid Species:

Vespamon: about 5 ft in length. Basically a giant red and purple wasp. Elements are either wind or nature, and all have the ability to sting an opponenty, their venom able to knock out and prevent tohe use of powers for several hours after injection. Usually have both missile and pulse type attacks.

Attack types:

Blade: Forms a short, close-range blade comprised of user's element over dominant hand. Strong against slower foes with melee attacks, but weak against those with range attacks.

Pulse: Sends a wide-spread blast or focused bolt of user's element at target. Extremely powerful, however, wide-spread pulses do very little damage, and focused pulses can be highly inaccurate. Both are best used at mid-close range.

Missile: Fires a normally thin dart-like projectile at target. Extremely fast and accurate, they tend to be very weak attacks, easily brushed off by foes with armour or even thick enough skin. Best used at mid-long range.

Wall: Launches a literal wall of user's element at target. Good for defensive manoeuvres, but extremely slow and weak damage unless at point blank range, where it can have similar effects to a pulse attack. Defensive-close range.

Focus: Causes user's element to gather around body, allowing them to manipulate it in various ways. Extremely powerful in close-mid range, allowing for attacks similar to pulse and blade, however, it requires a lot of concentration or the elemental 'coating' could backfire and damage the user and those around him.

Slash: Sends a wide arc of elemental energy at target. While very powerful, and reasonably accurate, it takes a lot of energy to perform, and is difficult to perform in close quarters. Best used at mid range only.
