And here's part 2 of the series! NO sexual material this time. Maybe. Ok, there is no YIFF! There, that should be clearer.

Anyway... It's the continuance of Tal's struggle through Anubis' incredible tourney. Of course, there's always the gut punching fun that I do adore.

Enjoy! And as always, I ask that you PLEASE leave COMMENTS! I need feedback to continue!

Thanks for reading ^_^

EDIT: Just in case anyone was wondering, Yes. this a fetishistic story. A fetish of furry gut punching/fighting

Tal's Grand Journey; Foe to Friend

Tal's sharp claws gleam in the sunlight on his raised left paw, and his eyes glower with red at the wolf. Tal had the wolf pinned to the ground with his knee digging into his red furred stomach and his right paw clutched into the wolf's red chest fur with an unrelenting eagle claw grip. This wolf, no longer prancing around so sporadically, looked surprisingly naïve and his eyes were filled with fright. "Unbelievable", Tal muttered, seeing a piece of downy fur flutter near his nose. Looking over the wolf again, Tal began to realize how young the wolf actually is. Practically a cub still shedding tufts of downy fur, he couldn't be older than eighteen? He was definitely twenty at the oldest. Tal's eyes return to brown, but he kept his claws extended, "What's your name, pup?" The wolf snapped mildly "Vance! Don't call me a pup! I'm twenty... no twenty-two? Yeah, it's been about two years..." Tal eyed the oddly flustered Vance suspiciously, "Vance, why were you following me?" Vance shifted uneasily under Tal's weight; he had a hard time keeping eye contact with the hulking tiger, "I'm part of the tournament too. I got a little lost once I crossed into the Egyptian jungle. You look like a guy who knows what to do, so I figured I'd stick with you to the pyramid..." Tal shook his head at the wolf's sheer ignorance "Your cover was blown and I made that clear to you." Tal then snarled "So, why did you attack me?!?" Vance cowers down into the high collars of his coat "You threw a freakin' boulder at me! I didn't know what to do, so I just fought back like I've been doing since I started this thing!" Tal couldn't really blame Vance for that, heck, it was basic survival instincts. Still, that wolf should've revealed himself as soon as he knew Tal noticed his presence. Vance started fidgeting slyly. Tal immediately saw this and put his razor claws at the wolf's throat. "Hold it! Do you want to die?!? Slowly, put your paws directly above your head where I can see them..." Vance whimpered and shakily obeyed the tiger's orders. As his paws became more outstretched, Tal saw the concealed locket Vance had had in his coat. It was open, and Tal could just make out the picture of a young white and grey wolf with deep violet eyes. Tal gave a small grin, "She's quite pretty. Is that who you're fighting for?" "Nhghm...!" Vance gasped and nodded; outstretched like this, with minimally developed muscle, the tiger's knee had sunken in nearly to Vance's back. "You mind?" Vance grunted, "Jeez, humans treated our ancestors better than this." Tal adjusted his weight and semi-mounted the wolf to keep him pinned. Tal gave another look of curiosity at the now.... blushing wolf. He'd be hard-pressed to have a stranger encounter. Never before had he heard someone refer to humans so casually, nor behave so oddly. Vance looks back at Tal, "W-what?" Tal knows that Vance is avoiding the truth behind his actions. Tal retracts his claws and sighs, "Look, boy, just tell me why you stalked me and I'll let you go." Vance gave a look of disbelief, but complied, "Well.... you have one of the artifacts. At first, I was gonna steal it..." Tal sternly glared at Vance. "BUT," Vance continued, "After our little scuffle I figured we could make a small trade."

"Is that so?" Tal enquired, "You want this bracer in exchange for your 'Amulet of Light'?" "Yeah, that's the idea," Vance nodded, "I'm already quick enough without it, and seeing as how you handle the Bracer of Ruin, the speed increase would more than make up for the loss in strength..." Tal chuckled, "Pup, how do I know that amulet is what you say?" Vance growled "Don't call me a pup, pussy! I know you don't trust me, but you seem like a goody saint. So you can try out the amulet first." Tal frowns and retorts, "Watch your tone, pup." Vance scowls at Tal as the tiger begins to remove the amulet from the wolf's neck. Suddenly a din of crashing trees and quaking ground breaks the silent tension between the two warriors. The clearing begins to buckle, as trees drop, canopies collapse, and birds and simians alike scatter in disarray. Vance panics, "What in the hell's happening??!? Get off me!" Tal still has the wolf pinned down, and puts a hushing paw over Vance's muzzle. Tal tries his best to keep as still as possible; he hoped it wasn't who he thought it was, and if so, he prayed that they'd pass. Unfortunately for Tal it just wasn't his day. Vance's amber eyes grew wider as the sound of hissing and garbled growling grew louder, the gigantic form approached the two. Tal had managed to lose them earlier that week after taking out half of their crew, but they had tracked him down. Atop the head of a giant basilisk with a scorpion tail, was the leader of the Reptilian division of the Chimera Clan, Seth. The Chimera Clan is a group of misfit beasts from the hellholes of the dilapidated country, Neuropa, just west of Tsi-China. This breed came from decades of raw experimentation, which was partially responsible for Neuropa's fall centuries ago. "Oy, what 'av we 'ere then?" The lizardman, Seth, looks down from atop the scorpion-tailed basilisk at Tal and Vance. His gang of horrors is made up of all long-fanged nagas (anthro snakes) and they looked on malevolently; their eyes are full of pure bloodlust. The lizard beast perversely licks his chops, "A quick fling before headin' to the pyramid eh? Tal and Vance both shoot daggered glares at that remark, but Tal dares not remove his paw from that fast-mouthed wolf. Seth hisses a laugh eyeing the wolf, "I see you found yerself a young'n too!" Seth leans back casually on the basilisk's snout. "I'd just take those fangled artifacts and leave ya to yer business, but after the trouble ya caused me mates back in Kenyata....nothin' doin'!" Seth lets out a piercing screech, sending his minions in for the kill, their armor and studded clubs clattering unruly.

"There's 18 of them, move!" Tal tells the wolf. Vance rolls his eyes "Don't tell me what to do!" The Amulet of Light flashes around the wolf's neck as he readies his iron-chained whip from his belt. Blurring into a group of 5 nagas, the sound of metal clanks and shears as Vance deflects all of their blows. Tal looks on, impressed, but returns his attention to his own group of opponents that surrounded him. The nagas hissed disdainfully, prepared to bludgeon that tiger for what he'd done to their comrades. "Hey don't take things so personally, they attacked me first," Tal said calmly. One of the nagas mock him "Don't take it persssonally, but we're gonna beat you to death!" He takes an overhead swing at Tal, but Tal grabs the club for leverage and flips upward kicking the snake's mouth in. As Tal flips over landing upright he ducks avoiding another blow. With the club in hand, Tal spins around 3 times quickly swinging the club and smashing it into each of the 4 surrounding reptiles. BAM! THWACK! CRACK! 12 hits! They all fall to the ground holding their faces, their tails thrashing in contempt. Tal smirks looking at them and doesn't notice the 5th much larger, heavily armored naga, rushing towards him with his club thrust out in front of him. THUDUNK! The large snake rams his studded club right into Tal's modestly toned gut. As if the club itself didn't do the trick, the studs embed themselves right into Tal's cream colored fur straight to his flesh. The reptilian continues forward smashing the tiger to a nearby tree. "GRAGHGAAHH!" Tal gasped gagging as he slumped up over the club. His black furred ears pointed straight up and tail writhed furiously, as the enormous club found a new home underneath the tiger's ribcage. The stripes outlining the fur on Tal's abdomen pinch together, as the studs were grinded around by the barbarous naga who twisted the club. Swallowing hard to keep his undigested meal down, Tal wipes away the volumes of drool pouring from his muzzle. "Is that all you can do?" Tal coughed at the chimera abomination. The naga hisses loudly flashing his fangs, venom dripping from them. With a great roar, Tal's eyes shift to blood red and he stretches out his paws as the bracer glows brightly. The naga squints his eyes in the brilliant light. Tal's muscles along his chest and arms bulge as he claps his claw bearing paws into the club shattering it to splinters. The studs and broken oak shower outward into the snake's face, blinding him. Tal lands lightly on his feet inhaling deeply to regain some breath; he then puts his left paw out in front of himself focusing a mighty strike with his right. The punch crushes the armor into the snake's belly like a tin can, his eyes roll up to the back of his head and his tongue sticks straight out as he curls over and collapses. Tal holds his fist there after the naga falls, then he leaps back doing a wide ground sweep, kicking away all of the remaining enemies from around him. Vance stared, mouth agape, at the fighting aptitude that the tiger possessed. His moment of awe is abruptly smacked with a large reptilian tail strike to his face. The smug wolf stumbles back slightly "Seriously guys, you don't want to piss me off." In a dash, Vance has his iron chained whip wrapped around the nagas neck, standing back to back with him. "Too late!" KRACKLE! Vance snatches on the whip viciously, instantly snapping the snake's neck. Vance looks around as the nagas now warily approach him. He looks down at that naga he just felled and its contorted neck. Vance wasn't much for killing unless it was necessary, but he needed to get these nagas to back off so he could figure a way out of this mess. The snake's broken neck begins to contract and crack sickly to Vance's distaste and utter disbelief. Tal sees the surprised wolf's expression, "They're regenerative!" He yells out, delivering a crushing elbow to a nearby naga destroying its skull. "You have to annihilate their brains!" Vance, bewildered, then looks up at Seth, who was hopping around maniacally, "Yesss, yess!" Beat 'em! Beat their bloody bodies bloodied!" Vance couldn't help but wonder how in the hell this idiot got these mindless monstrosities to follow his lead. The wolf catches a glimmer of something in the lizardman's hand, "Maybe they're not so mindless after all. Or at least not with their own minds..."

Tal and Vance rendezvous at the center of the chaos in hopes to conference some kind of plan to escape. They face outward back to back in their fighting stances, facing the encircling Chimera Clan. "We could make a run for it," Vance eagerly suggested. Tal shakes his head. "No chance of escape with that idea. They're snakes, and it's a four hour hike through the desert to the pyramid. We'd get hunted down and slaughtered like dogs." Vance whines resentfully at the tiger's figurative speech. "Oh, sorry," Tal apologizes. "Well, at least I'd have a chance to get away," Vance mumbled. Tal's ears perk up, "What?!?" Vance tries to brush it off, "Huh? Nothin'...."

Tal looks around at the seemingly hopeless situation. All but the three Tal took down were up and rearing for a fight. "Did you do anything to contribute to this battle, Vance?" Vance woofs at Tal, "Give me a break man, I don't have that monster strength that you've got. And you can't take them down quickly enough." Vance lashes his whip out to keep the nagas at bay. He eyes the little device in Seth's hand and then looks to his rod still stuck in the palm tree. "Listen- it's Tal right? I've got a plan, but we need to switch artifacts for this to work." Tal scoffs almost humorously at the suggestion. Vance's features fall, "Come on Tal! I stuck with you up til now! That's gotta count for something!" Tal looks at Vance, "Exactly, up until now. Once I give you the bracer, you'll just take off running with that speed of yours." Vance is nearly hurt by Tal's lack of trust in him, "Dammit! I'm not the bad guy here! Give me some credit, pussy!" With that he snatches off the amulet and forces it onto Tal's neck. The tiger is taken aback slightly but suddenly feels a surge of energy throughout his body. "I feel...so light," Tal remarks. "Go on, give it whirl!" Vance encourages the cat. Tal dashes forward, in a circle at an impressive velocity, not nearly as quick as Vance had been, but very fast nonetheless. The nagas stop their ambush, looking in shock. In a rush, Tal repeats the action this time delivering crushing blows that knock back the reptiles. Tal looks back to Vance and, hesitantly, parts with his bracer, tossing it to him. Seth is infuriated, "Kill 'em, ya buggers!" Vance dons the bracer proudly, "Whoohoo! Let's tear them up!"
