The Strange Umbreon And The Sadness Of The Heart
Hey looks like I finished this chapter finally! I hope you all enjoy chapter four in the series!
July 2011: Hey guys just editing the first four chapters a bit, no more huge random gaps between each sentence. Anyway, chapter 5 should be done by the end of this week. (3 days) I wouldn't really call this a chapter because it's so small, well some books have really short chapters. I was reading this one book and there was a couple chapters that were about 2-3 pages long.
Chapter 4
Exile
"Elina what are you doing with him!?" Kyurone roars as he approaches the two eeveelutions.
"Father no you don't understand chase did nothing wrong!" Elina says in a rather panicked tone.
"No Elina! Why are you here chase?!" The huge Arcanine barks.
"W-well Elina was being attacked by Mike so I came to save her... And we just fell asleep u guess..." Chase said nervously, scared of what the giant dog could do to him. It seems like hours before Chatot finally breaks the silence.
"Thats him, thats him! The siny Umbreon I knew my eyes were not deceiving me!"
"Father please..." Elina managed to blurt out before being interrupted.
"Silence Elina!" Kyurone roars.
"Father... How could you!" Elina says before running further into the forest.
"Elina wait!" Chase says as he starts to run after her.
"No, your business is with me... And Umbreon." Kyurone says stopping Chase.
The walk back to Umbeons den seemed like ages to both Kyurone and Chase, but when they arrived Umbreons eyes went wide. "Umbreon you have some explaining to do!" Kyurone says before Umbreon can interrupt. "It seems that Chase spent the night with Elina and he is a shiny pokemon..." Kyurone says leaving Umbreon speechless. "because of my own personal matter and the fact that you did not notify me of this... I'm afraid that you will be put to death." Kyurone finishes.
"yes well Chase was a normal Eevee so there was no way of me telling that he was to become shiny soon after evolution." Umbreon says in his defense.
"in this case that is no exu..." Kyurone gets out before Chase buts in.
"You cant kill him!!" Chase says in a sad panicked voice. "you cant kill my dad!!" He says a moment later.
"Umbreon is not your father! Get that through your head!" Kyurone snaps.
"well hes the closest thing I've ever had as a parent!" Chase retorts.
After a few minutes Kyurone sighs and says.
"I will need to put some thought into this... I will be here again tomorrow morning with my decision. Don't go anywhere!" Kyurone says with some sympathy.
"Chase Kyurone is right I am not you father..." Umbreon says a good time after Kyurones departure.
"Yes but you're the only parent I've ever had." Chase says a minute later.
"We will get this whole thing sorted out tomorrow, don't worry Chase." Umbreon assures, feeling Chases sorrow. The two Umbreon snuggle together and fall asleep.
The Next Morning
"Umbreon! Chase! Wake up!!" Kyurone said a bit louder than normal to wake the two Umbreon.
"Huh what is i.... oh I remember now." Umbreon yawns.
"I'm up, I'm up.." Chase yawns after Umbreon.
"I have decided your punishment." Kyurone says in a serious tone. "You will both be exiled." He finishes.
"Huh, what does that mean?" Chase questions.
"It means we will be kicked out of the forest, for good." Umbreon explains.
"B-but Elina!" Chase says stuttering a bit.
"You are both to travel different paths and Chatot will make sure of it." Kyurone starts.
"But then I cant see Umbreon." Chase says a bit confused.
"Thats the point Chase!" Kyurone growls.
"Wa..." Chase mutters as he starts to get confused and frustrated.
"Umbreon you come with me, Chase you will go with Chatot." Kyurone says to the two Umbreon.
"C'mon you little twit!" Chatot says pecking at Chases head.
"Ow, ow, okay!" Chase says before starting off in the opposite direction as Umbreon and Kyurone.
After about 10 minutes of walking Chase turns and runs in the direction of Umbreon and Kyurone. "Daaaaad!" He screams as he runs.
"Hey Chase get back here!!" Chatot ssays flying after him.
Umbreon turn as he hears Chase in the distance.
"Dad where will I go? What will I do without you!?" Chase says bombarding Umbreon with questions.
"Chase.... You will find a place, lots of nice places. And you will always find a way through your problems. You will make new friends who will help you through tough times. Right now we must go our separate ways, but I'm sure we will meet again, Chase. My son. Umbreon says before continuing his path with Kyurone.
Chase feels a new confidence after his "fathers" strong words. *thanks dad you're the best* Chase thinks as he runs back in the opposite direction, leaving the forest behind him.
But a part of him still longs for Elina as he runs into the distance.
