I talk to much, enjoy, ratings/reveiws welcome

The Tauren started removing his comfortable silk clothing made by the camp tailor, revealing his large muscular Tauren frame and began to replace it with the thick plate armour crafted by the greatest blacksmiths the Horde had to offer, as he placed on each piece he felt the power of his mothers enchantments surge through him, he felt his strength double and his mind hone, when he finished his augmented strength made the armour feel as light as the silk he had just taken off. He moved over to his camp bed and removed a large wooden case from under it, he flicked open each of the clasps holding it together and opened it. There, glowing with power, was his axe, she was called Bonesinger in his native Taurahe, the large two handed arcanite axe was part of his family, crafted by his grandfather's great grandfather and was enchanted by every enchanter in his family since. As his hands touched its leather handle the power of his ancestors flowed through him, it was more powerful than any magic could ever conjure, he had been offered better axes and more gold than he could ever dream of for this axe, his axe, but it was a heirloom and he'd never let it go, the blood of many had coated its blade and he wasn't going to let some untrustworthy goblin dismantle it and sell it as powerful enchanting tools, it was part of him, where he swung she cut, her never dulling blade cleaving through armour and tissue alike. He closed the case and refastened the clasps; he had other things to attend to first. Moving over to a small set of bubbling pots, he checked their contents, placing a lid on some, adding herbs to others and dousing the flame under one, muttering about his lack of vials as he searched for the leather pouch he kept them in, forgetting where he put it last.

"Hey" came squeaking from the entrance to his tent, the large Tauren turned to face the small goblin now standing outside, "did I give you my.." started the Tauren gruffly, "yes, you had an order placed with me and you left this..." squeaked the goblin as it held out a large leather pouch "...with me so I could store them and give them to you. They where late, I'm glad I got to you in time, else you would have left and I would have something I didn't want" giving the Tauren a sly look, he sold stuff he didn't want, and the Tauren knew it. The large Tauren dropped a small bag in the goblins hand and snatched the pouch, "pleasure doing business with you" the goblin said as he walked off, counting the money.

Dammed goblins, thought the Tauren, pulling out the appropriate vial and filling it with the contents of the cooling pot, that goblin did that on purpose, alchemy was very sensitive and he knew it, if he didn't know any better he would have left it one more minute and the potion would have failed, meaning the Tauren would need more ingredients from the goblin, but he did know better, if he did he would be footslogging his way back to camp, the Tauren had a powerful kick, and then be made to give the ingredients, very expensive ones at that. The Tauren then placed a small silver spoon into the cool potion, he got the reaction he hoped for, and it hardened slightly then turned back to its former self. Moving over to the other pots he checked them, all but one were ready, so he extracted a selection of vials and filled them with the corresponding liquids.

There was a muffled cough at the tents door, "what do you want Thalgar" grumbled the Tauren as he turned to his apprentice, "Well ... erm" the young Ork started sheepishly "it's like", the Tauren noticed the vial held in his hand, "ahh the agility potion" the Tauren said, he then saw the Orks expression "what did you do wrong"

He Ork looked uncomfortable as he produced a vial filled with a deep purple potion.

"don't know"

"Hmm" the Tauren mumbled, taking the vial from Thalgar "never seen purple agility potion before, their green"

"I know master" the young ork grunted

"I don't even think that those ingredients turn purple" the Tauren looked up "are you sure that you used the right ingredients"

"Yes yes of course, what do you take me for" the ork burst out

"I take you for an apprentice in alchemy" the Tauren replied still observing the vial "and with your success rate I think you won't get more than that" the Tauren turned away and observed a pot separate to the others

"Why have you got your plate armour of master" quizzed Thalgar

The Tauren looked over his shoulder "You've never seen me make this potion have you"

The ork shook his head "you may see why the..." there was a huge boom as the pot exploded sending chunks of steel flying, tearing holes in the tent and obliterating the supply crate it stood on, the Tauren stood and turned "that's why", he pulled a small piece of steel out of his armour, "I haven't yet mastered this potion and it has volatile tendencies" He moved over to the entrance of his tent and looked down at Thalgar "luckily that was a personal project so this mistake doesn't matter much, but yours" placing the vial of purple liquid in Thalgar's hand "was not, the rouges needed them and as sneaky and dishonourable they are they have skills we need"

A low horn sounded, "Well young one the rouges will be without their potions then, well if I didn't expect this, that is" the Tauren gestured to the small pot he had left boiling, "now here's some vials" the Tauren said, drawing them from his satchel, "you fill and stopper them while I go to this war council please"

"Yes master I will" said the Ork "I will master"

The Tauren headed out of his tent and towards the larger one in the middle of the camp were the other high councils of the camp were headed, most were dear friends that he had known since the earliest battles he had fought, their was the Ork shaman Grotus, the troll mage Tisin, undead priest Scorus, there was another Tauren, a female druid named Harene, the Warlord of the camp an Ork Warrior called Dranius, and finally a newcomer blood elf whom he didn't know very well, just that she was a powerful warlock sent by the ambassador of the blood elves to assist in a few battles, to show blood elves weren't as feeble as they looked.

As he entered the tent eyes turned to him, most showed respect he knew he was held higher than the Warlord in the minds of most including that of Dranius himself, but he noticed that there was a different look in the eyes of Harene but he didn't know what or have time to work it out, he then looked at the blood elf who looked back coldly. He proceeded to take his seat to the right of Dranius, "Are you okay, friend" he was asked

"Yes why" he replied to the Warlord

"You have a small chunk of metal embedded in your neck"

"What I can't feel it" he then remembered the potion he was making "Ahh I know why" he ran his hand through his coarse mane and found the offending object, and with a sharp tug he pulled it free, there was a brief moment of pain and then he felt the wound heal over, he recognised the feel of the Scorus's healing spell, one that had saved him many times, "thank you for that, it seems my experimenting worked" he looked at the metal he had removed, it was hardly small but not a deadly size.

"I'd hardly call blowing holes in your tent a working experiment" the blood elf replied maliciously

"But you try having a chunk of metal embedded in your neck and not feel it, that potion coated it, and so I felt no pain"

"Fine, whatever", blood elves seemed very arrogant and obviously saw most of those here as thugs, not the intelligent honourable people they were

"I don't much like yo tone mon" Tisin commented in his usually laid back way

"Well I don't much like your tone mon" hissed the blood elf "this is a circus full of dumb animals" looking at the two Tauren in particular "blood elves should be leading this campaign not you rabble" the blood elf started to stand

Swift as the wind the Tauren threw a bag at the elf and with a flick of the wrist two daggers followed it, one broke the string holding the elves dagger on her belt, the other split the bag spilling its powdered contents into the air around his target. The elf froze as she inhaled the dust, her eyes glazed over and her face tensed.

The Tauren walked over to where the elf was stood frozen, all that moved was her terrified eyes and the only sound was her panicked breathing, "If I were a circus thug those two daggers would have pierced your throat and I wouldn't do this" the Tauren growled as he moved his hand to a small vial in his belt, the elves eyes followed, he removed the vials stopper and dropped three drops into the elves throat. The elf started to tremble and then collapsed choking, "Y..you bastard, what did you do?" choked the elf

"Please share mon" said a tense troll "not like yo to get so frustrated"

"Paralysis powder, needed to test it on something larger than goblins" the Tauren glanced at the choking heap, that used to be an arrogant stuck up blood elf "I also wanted to test the antidote, glad it worked, just wanted to make an impression, not a permanent one" he bent down and poured another potion into the elves mouth who started to recover from the coughing fit almost instantly. "Are you ok now?"

The elf squirmed away and stood "Yes" she replied

"Are you going to continue in your ruckus making or will you sit down and act like a proper councillor" as if she had a choice

The elf nodded and sat still looking nervous. "Ok" said Dranius "to business" he clapped and a pair of peons brought in a large map of the area and placed it onto the table they were sat around.

P.S. If you play WoW you will know that trolls have a jamaican like accent, if not the way he spoke probably confused you, so now you know.
