The Destruction part 2
Stromkiller was sitting on a chair with his 3 month old son in his arms, he could not be any happier.
There he is in his modest home in the River Bend Fortress, it almost a year to the date since his very 1st
visit here. As Vixen was saying to her now husband, "What a year this had been, if some one asked me
before this began would I be sitting here in my own house, with my husband a former slave of the
humans now all 3 of us living among them. I would say they were crazy". "Crazy in love", Stormkiller
says with a grin. "I forgot to ask you what did David and you talk about this morning?", Vixen wonders. Stormkiller replies feeling a bit unhappy about it, "My rescue missions, I was asked to stop, it seems we can grow enough food to feed everyone here, plus all we want to rescue". "I almost forgot, it took all we could salvage from all the nearby towns was just enough seeds to get last years crop started, I have been told that this years harvest they say will be slightly better", Vixen said. "Only slightly better", Stormkiller added. "I stand corrected, and your language skills are are much improved, I know everyone has been trying to help you", Vixen said. "It is also hard to believe we help each other out so much", Stormkiller remarks. "I find that is a little hard to believe too", Vixen said but that was when there baby started crying "Time to feed your son", Stromkiller adds as he hands their baby over to Vixen, "I could hear those words forever".
Suddenly there was a knock on their, it was Gordon Rivers, "Harry wants you to see him now". "What for?" Stormkiller wonders. "It seems we have a prisoner with some real information", Gordon said. A bit puzzled Stromkiller asks, "You mean when and where this all started". Gordon replies, "No, as is where all those crystals are coming from". "I will be back later", Stormkiller said
There in the pit, it's cells now vacant save for 1 prisoner, a human dressed as a Vengeance Warrior with
one notable exception this one wasn't wearing a black crystal around his neck. He stood just under 6 feet tall with full beard and long black hair, and very will built all the while seemly whining, "I gave myself up to you, I handed over all my crystals and you treat me this way. Not to forgot some of you threatened to take my life". Around him where a pair of humans including David Muller and Harry Little (a human Stormkiller rescued), and a pair of wolves he had once saved named Shaun and Gus, strangely enough they were twins. "You are a danger to us, I say execute him!!!", Gus shouted. "We have agreed to a new set of laws", David insisted. Stormkiller knew well these new laws, after all he was there when they were discussed and agreed to by everyone. As these laws set guidelines for all crimes including what to do with this Vengeance Warriors. "You are a problem to us, you got to understand many of us including me know your kind 1st hand and forever regret doing do", David said with tears in his eyes for all he endured. "Good enough", the Warrior said. "It turns out all I heard about this place is true. That both sides of the animal kingdom live and work in harmony". The he got a look at Stormkiller dressed there in a leather vest and pants which Vixen made for him, "What is up with him?", The warrior said. Stormkiller then went up to the bars and says, "I am your worse nightmare, I know your secret and have told everyone here how to break your control. Many here including me have been effected by them. But we are we again and vow to fight your kind until the end of time itself". That was when the warrior started clapping he hands as he says, "Good speech", he then pulled out his penis and flapped it about all the time saying, "Get a good suck on this pigs!!!!". David and Harry left in discuss, and so did Shaun. Suddenly Gus looked Stormkiller straight in the eye, and suddenly they knew what the other was thinking. "I'll give it a suck!", Gus shouted. "At last that warrior shouted, "Someone here who knows what they are only good for", as the warrior extended his cock thought the bars Gus snatched it and held on tight as he pulled and pulled hard. The warrior suddenly started to scream in agony, "Let me go, let me go!!"
That was when Stormkiller leaned up against the bars and calmly said, "Who is in control now, pull harder dear friend". The warrior began to scream louder. "What would you think he look like without his manhood?", Stormkiller wondered. Gus just grinned and says, "Perfect!!", and prepared to rip the man's penis clean off until the warrior shouted, "Ill tell!!! I'll tell!!!"
"Let him go", Stormkiller said calmly, and when Gus released his grip, as the warrior who fell backwards in his cell, his hands held his still aching penis. "We want to know where your getting those crystals and if you know how where they discovered". The warrior then looked up at the pair is discuss, as Stromkiller adds, "You can never get the best of us wolves, we will win in the end. Besides neither of us, would not think twice about killing you...unlike the other humans here". "You both would make perfect warriors...if you were only human", the warrior said. "Of course I will tell you, no warrior of Vengeance does not know the tale of our power. A wizard back in Roman times, made a discovery of a mixture upon common crystals. But before he could act upon his discovery, Rome fell. We could only improve upon it, until a time came when man and animal were at war. We simply stepped in and took control over all. The crystal mine is only days from here, in the mountains we call Kegross". "I know where that is", Gus adds. "You can not defeat us, an entire legend of vengeance is camped there at the mouth to that mine".
That was when Gus tapped Stormkiller on the shoulder and says, "Lets get out of here, I need to tell
you something". Gus lead him up to the top of the castle wall, which now had regular patrols, and one
had just passed the pair of them as Stormkiller asks, "What did you bring me up here?". Gus replies,
"I know that man is lying. You see Shaun and I were born up in those mountains. We know them better
than anyone. You could not get a legion of men any where along there. That's 6,000 men by the way".
Stormkiller's face suddenly held the expression that he finally got it, "He is lying, if it is the mountains I am thinking about it is impossible". "See what I mean, 6,000 men would be impossible for any mountain around here", Gus said. "I agree", Stormkiller adds. "But we now have a lead", Gus said. "Huh?!", Stormkiller wonders. "Look, we did not even have a clue where any of those Vengeance Warriors could even be found up to now, and right now we got one. Hell, it's at least it's worth checking out, and what better team than us", Gus said. "What about Vixen and the others", Stormkiller wonders. "Vixen has the baby, and we are just going there to like I said check things out. Right in and right again. No fuss, no fights. You already told us all of how you hid out in the forest all those years, and no one knew you were even there", Gus said. "That is true enough", Stormkiller said. "But we should tell David and at least Vixen what we are up to". "...and I should at least tell my own brother", Gus adds.
Hours later at the main gate Gus and Stromkiller standing there along with Vixen, David and a few
others saying their goodbyes, "You be careful, I don't want your child to go fatherless", Vixen reminds.
Meanwhile Stromkiller was all smiles as he says, "I did not survive all that time in the forest alone without learning a thing or two". That was when Gus went up to the pair and says, "That is why we are going at this with just us 2, we plan to move in find out what info we can, and get out as fast as we can". That was when David adds, "We need as much info as possible, such as where and when if they plan another attack and if they are holding anyone prisoner. So that we could plan a rescue mission if our supplies allow this". Feeling like he heard all of this before Gus says, "Didn't we talk about this before". Suddenly everyone felt as if he was right. Finally Shaun spoke up, "After all I want my brother to return to me". That was he gave Stormkiller his blade and his brother a bow and arrows. "Remember quick in and out", Shaun reminds. "I wish we could take more supplies, but I know we can't spare
it...Bye everyone". But not before Stromkiller gave Vixen a kiss on her right cheek, then adds, "I promise you I will return".
Everyone watch as the pair went through the gate of the fortress and out to the world beyond,
while waving goodbye to seemly everyone until they were out of sight.
The pair traveled light and fast, making much more ground than either one expected. By the time
night fall came. It seemed strange to Gus being there without his brother, "You don't know what it is like not to have Shaun always there". "But it is better and safer for him, I have not been to those mountains in a very long time", Stormkiller said. "You never said, for what reason you were there before", Gus wondered. "That is a long story", Stormkiller said. "We have a lot of traveling to do", Gus said. "And the nearby river has a lot of fish", Stormkiler said. That was when both of them heard a strange noise as if someone had been tracking them. They signaled to each other to make their weapons ready as they hid behind the nearest tree. Waiting for this figure to come on to them before unleashing their attack. Slowly that figure came, and when it was almost there they leaped out...and it turned out to be "Shaun!!! What are you doing here?", Gus shouted. "Would you believed I missed you, and I thought you could use someone with my knife throwing skill", Shaun said. But before Gus could respond Stromkiller says, "You will make a great addition, how about you make fire for our meal. I get fish while you 2 talk, for when we get near mountains we maybe eating raw food. Because a fire could reveal where we could be found". He was right as soon as he took a few steps Gus started to say, "We agreed you would stay back at the fortress, come on what is the real reason....". Shaun finally replied, "I just had to come that's all".
The now trio made there way slowly towards the mountains, they talked to pass the time, they even told stories, like how Stromkiller knew those mountains as well as they did. The answer was rather simple he just saw them shortly after his escape and thought he be safer there. Not that he almost starved to death, and had to learned from the animals that live there what was safe, and most importantly how to hunt but he also had another thing to tell both Gus and Shaun. "I know Gus how you complained that there is not enough women around, we can not simply grown enough food. We also can not hunt or fish our way of this. If we did this, we would not have enough when we really need what this world has to offer". Gus seemed to understand but all Shaun did was sigh, "It is really had to find anyone single in town", Gus admits. "I myself have dated a human woman or 3. They are just as desperate as us to find someone just to be there to let them know they are important". "Looking at Shaun there, I would agree", Stormkiller adds as he knew that look.
But still it took 8 days to get to the Kegross Mountains, and no amount of talking or storytelling can make those 8 days seem any shorter to get to the foothills of those mountains.
The Kegross Mountains where the most unique site in the entire region. At it's base was a smooth
slopping hillside. While it's peaks were sharp and jagged with sheer cliff and risk of rock falls were common place. In fact most think the border between the two was far to dangerous for any one period. Regardless of the reason the Vengeance Warriors where there alright. In fact the 1st thing they spotted on the main an only path up those mountains were 2 of them, one of which was standing outside of a tent holding a pike, speaking to another nearby in the forest. As the 1st one was saying, "Did you hear about the new prisoners". "Strange looking creatures are they", 2nd soldier replied. "So you have seen them?", 1st soldier wonders. "I sure did, I never seen anything like them in my life", 2nd soldier replied. replied. "So what you think the Commander is going to do with them?" 1 wonders. "I think he said, if he can't get anything out of them he is going to make rugs out of them" 2nd guard replied. "They would make interesting rugs", the 1st guard agreed.
The trio just looked at one another, as they knew this just inadvertently turned in to a rescue mission and they were not going to leave this for some later date. After making there way far around the pair of warriors. They suddenly spotted a patrol of roughly 9, they followed them for a while at a discreet distance of course, up towards those jagged peaks. Until they finally heard something that just plain stopped them in their tracks. It was someone screaming in some sort of language, "It that for real?", Shaun wonders. "Any way it's down there", Gus replied. But still that patrol took no attention to that same sound, it was clear they heard it before.
There not too short of a distance away was this giant panda tied to a tree. It was dressed in a robe made of red silk, with gold geometric designs woven in to the fabric. Standing off to one side was 3 warriors one had his sword right up against the panda's throat shouting, "We know you can talk, and understand us. Tell us where are your men, who many others are there, and what is that black powder we found in that cart of yours". This man just keep on repeating the same set of questions over and over again. "Whose a bigger idiot?" Gus wonders as he watches this spectacle. But Stormkiller was the one who motioned that they had to rescue this whatever. As they had no idea what even was a panda or where it was from.
Even though that panda did noticed them, he did not react as the trio came up from behind those
warriors. Stormkiller was the first to react as he locked on his famous sleeper hold, at the same time Gus let loose with his arrows, while Shaun came up from behind the last and slit the last warriors throat. While Stormkiller broke the neck finally of the one he had attacked. Now signaling to keep everyone quiet Shaun quickly cut the panda loose. Who seemed to be fine, but was frantically motioning everyone to go further down the hill. Which to Stormkiller seemed like a good idea, mainly because of the patrol was still quite close.
They had gone not really that far from where they were before there panda friend ran in another direction. The trio had no choice but to follow, meanwhile they hoped the would not attract the attention of any patrol. As they neared that panda, they discovered he was running towards this snow leopard warrior who had also been lashed to another tree. But unlike the panda, this warrior had been severely beaten. Both it's face and what ever exposed fur was covered in it's own blood. In fact Stormkiller was surprised that this warrior was still breathing, because he really looked that bad. Once again Stormkiller motioned to cut this one loose. But when Shaun had trouble helping the warrior, simply because he was not strong enough. Stromkiller lifted that warrior with ease over his shoulder and lead them all down the mountain.
It would be almost by sunset that they all felt safe, and talked of food. Once they came to this sort of clearing Stromkiller and Gus went hunting as Shaun built a fire. His heart went out to that warrior and as the panda's near feeble attempt to get some water to clean up his companions wounds. It was Shaun to the rescue with his canteen and a small cloth he always kept with him.
By the time the others returned with a brace of rabbits, the warrior looked as if he was coming around. "I'll stay with him", Shaun said as he stroked the warriors head.
But by the time those rabbits had been nearly cooked, that snow leopard began to come out of it, and despite being very weak says, "It's good to be among friends again...at least I hope". Shaun who still was sitting next to him says, "You are, we have so many questions". Gus thinking better scolded his brother, "You should not put it like that, he is going to think we are like those Vengeance Warriors, only wanting information". "I agree", Stormkiller added. "Let me introduce ourselves I am Gus, the one sitting next to you is my brother Shaun, and the big guy next to me is Stormkiller", he said. "May I ask
one thing", the snow leopard said. "Sure you are welcome to ask us anything", Gus said. "What brings you all here", and Gus told him the truth.
By the time they were all eating the snow leopard was now being supported by the panda, who seemed more than happy that his friend was fine as he was able to eat by himself . "Easy Bam-bo...oh I forgot" then he spoke in that strange language again. Which caused Shaun to ask "Where are you from?", the leopard replied, "I see no harm in that, I am Shar, my rather large friend is called Bam-bo. We are
from the Kingdom of Karma. You see we have just gone through our own problems with humans, and
thankfully like you we have all agreed to live in harmony. That was when Bam-bo here, who is an official in the Karma government decided start trading with our neighbors. It seems our ruling council did not want to do this. Simply because they heard rumors and felt it was unsafe, solely based upon what they heard. That was when I decided to go with him, little realizing those rumors were in fact quite true". That was when Bam-bo said something, "You are right, I better tell them. You see we decided to go through this passage on the way to this fortress we heard about, Bam-bo and I were pulling this cart. You see my sword was inside it, and all all the goods we were planning to offer as trade". "I don't know what the odds are of getting it back, we have not even see it, in fact I don't know what it even might look like", Shaun comments. "No it's not that", Shar said. "It's just the black powder we had brought with us, it's enough to cause quite of bit of damage". With the puzzled expression on their faces Bam-bo asked Shar to explain what the danger was. "But it is like, what Shaun said, we have no idea where that cart of your is", Stormkiller explained. "I know exactly where it was", Shar said. "It was right next to the crystal cave". "The crystal cave!", they shouted. "Right where they have been mining for these strange black crystals, I don't know for what purpose though". That was when Gus says, "I think it would be better if Stormkiller tell you all that he know about those crystals, after all he is the expert here". Then he recounted all that he knew about those bloack crystals.
Once Stromkiller was finished, Shar and Bam-bo began talking in their language once again. After
which Shar says, "Black powder can be used to destroy caves, and given what I had seen higher up on the mountainside. I say we could keep those warriors out of the cave forever". That was when Shaun spoke up, "Before anyone of you think what I think you are thinking. Shar is in no shape to not only show us where that cave is or let alone show us how to use that black powder of theirs". Reluctantly the trio had to agree, even Shar when he tried to stand up on his own and he needed help. They all soon agreed to wait the few days they must before Shar would be ready and the warriors would get the surprise of their lives.
Which was not the only surprise, it seems Shaun was interested in Shar more ways than one. As he was always with him, more so than his companion Bam-bo. That was when the other learned more about there new friends. Meanwhile Bam-bo seemed more annoyed by this interest in Shar than anything else. Frankly Stormkiller did not know what to make of this, nothing more than his brother did. That Shar was from a strange land, which ways different than theirs. But this interest seemed to be mutual, and no one other than Bam-bo thought different.
So after traveling a bit further on so they could be safer, as well as a better situation to protect themselves. They eventually neared this lake, there was an abandoned fort there, that was connected to a system of caves if the Vengeance Warriors came looking for their escaped prisoners. That was when Shaun helped Shar to walk at first. But they always seemed to be doing something together, the main thing Stromkiller noticed was Shar's swordplay lessons to Shaun. It was on Shaun insistence they wait a bit longer. That was when they took walks together, as a way to build up Shar's strength.
But thankfully the patrols were few and none of them looked in the right places, so they were able to hide there presence with ease.
Then came this one day, that Stormkiller went looking to Shar and Shaun. It seems that Bam-bo was trying to tell him something rather insistence on letting him know. That was when he made a point to Bam-bo signaling, "You stay here, I get Shar and he will tell me what your trying to say". It was deep in that old fortress that Stormkiller found a trail of clothes that belonged to both Shaun and Shar. Finally after hearing a loud moan, Stormkiller wondered if Vengeance Warriors could of found them by accident. Then suddenly rounding this corner he saw Shaun ramming his erect penis up in to Shar's ass. Worst to Stormkiller they both seemed to be enjoying it. Instead of stopping them he thought better, and returned to Bam-bo who instant knew what was up, and surprisingly so was Gus who just happened to be standing next to Bam-bo. "I know what your going say, my brother likes the company of men like the same way you like Vixen", Stormkiller just had this rather puzzled expression on his face. The Gus proceed to explain, then later they both agreed not to say anything, unless they brought it up first.
Finally they both returned meanwhile Gus seemed angry at his brother, "What took you so long, don't know the patrols are getting closer". "Sorry", Shaun said that was when Shar spoke up, "Blame this upon me, Shaun was telling me more about the land he grew up on and how this world changed since the warriors came". But Gus seemed discussed and stormed off, meanwhile Stormkiller had no idea why Gus was so angry, it all made no sense to him. But those patrols, were bothering him, "I think we can not wait any longer here. We are making too much impact upon the land, I fear it will not take the warriors too much longer before they find us. We must now make final plans to not only find where Shar's and Bam-bo's cart can be found, but what must be done to destroy that crystal cave". When Gus heard hat he instantly returned, that was when plans were finally made.
But 1st that cart had to be found, the search began the very next morning. Which wasn't easy mainly due to the patrols which seemed to be everywhere by then. It was only do to his experience that Stromkiller kept them from being discovered...more than once. But finally after what seemed like hours their cart was in deed found. Shar with Shaun by his side went on journey of their own and confirmed it was still right next to the cave. But they also reported, "We seen at least 20 warriors there", Shar said. "If that isn't bad enough, we think the leader of the warriors are also here", Shaun added. But for some reason of his own Stormkiller smiled. When Gus asked why Stormkiller than laid out his own plan which could put an end to this mess once and for all. ..But first they had to wait to night fall and them getting as close to the cave as possible.
For some reason their leader was still there directing patrols until it was frankly too dark to see. Then all of them saw one warrior bring their leader some food, who then said, "I will sleep by the cave, like I always do. But be sure someone is always awake to hear my cry for help". Finally they all got it and the warriors leader was about to get it in ways he never dreamed.
As their leader slept Stromkiller approached him without making a single sound, then in one move almost faster than anyone could see he locked on a sleeper hold and minutes later the leader of the warriors was out cold. Shar's next step was to drag that man deep inside the cave, and with the return of his sword, after he had slit that man's juggler and his blood just as quickly spilled all over the floor of that cave. Then all of them working in almost total darkness unloaded the black powder and pilled it up high just inside the entrance of that very same cave.
Then they all waited, none of them slept. They could not even risk anyone falling asleep for even one
second. They all helped out each other as the hours grew late and even later still.
Finally the first rays of sunlight started to break over the horizon, when it became just light enough to see. It was agreed Gus was to guide Shar and the rest of them on a route down and away from that mountain, and hopefully they would not run in to any of those warriors. Meanwhile Stormkiller would wait until they were hopefully far enough away to light a fuse, then run as fast as they could before the side of the mountain came down upon him. Stormkiller, hoped that his size and strength would save him, from what looked like now that he just volunteered for a suicide mission
The further and further they got away, but still everyone was quite scared. Not for them as they had
not seen any warrior on this little used path. That both Shaun and Gus gambled on that the warriors
would not spot Stormkiller by that cave until they were far enough away, since the cart was so heavy Bam-bo had help Shar, who could move as fast as the rest of them wanted.
Further and further down the mountain they went, as the sun grew higher up in the sky. It actually came to a point they hoped Stormkiller would not wait before it was too late.
When suddenly an explosion rocked that entire mountain, it took all 4 of them completely by
surprise. They all just stood there watching the entire mountain shake, then as the mountainside collapse downward and out. It looked as if the entire mountain was literally coming down on everyone, they hoped that Stormkiller survived.
Meanwhile the dust and the falling rock literally grew by the second to finally covering the entire foothills becoming so bad even it became hard to breathe. Bam-bo then pulled out small cloths to cover their mouth and nose so they could. It became so dusty that it was literally impossible to see anything, let alone your own hand in front of your own face.
As it finally started to subside and no sign of Stormkiller they was concerned for there friend and started to call out his name..."Stormkiller!!!" Over and over again they shouted and still no sign of their friend. They feared he had died and wondered what to tell Vixen and there child.
But when the dust finally cleared enough and they were able to see again. It was Bam-bo who suddenly spotted something in the dust cloud heading towards them. Once again they shouted, "STORMKILLER!!!", even Bam-bo gave his best to say his name. Then to their delight they got a reply, "Yeah, it's me I think I am still in one piece". Everyone was covered in dust, Stormkiller more so and saying, "Did you see that entire mountain go down?!"
Everyone was so happy, and so grateful Stormkiller survived. That finally Shar admitted the truth, "In my world when someone saved your life more than once like you 3 have done. I think it is finally time to admit the truth. Shaun and I are lovers and have been since we first caught eye of one another". Bam-bo finally seemed satisfied that the truth was finally known. Everyone seemed to understand, why when Gus patted his brother on the back saying, "It's your life, live it how you choose".
But when they finally had a chance to figure things out. Bam-bo and Shar finally showed what was so important about the cart. The rest of them could not help but notice the bags of seeds, there were more than enough to feed everyone at the fortress 10 times over. Plus as Shar later said, "We have farm animals, more than enough to trade and even more to give as a thank you for saving our lives"
When the fortress was just in sight all of them was surprised when Vixen came running out towards them with her baby in arms. Stormkiller almost asked her was something wrong until she kissed him then told him, "I missed you so much", his reply was "I don't know who I missed more you or my son", he then kissed Vixen on the cheek then added "You of course". Vixen just smiled then asked, "Were you responsible for that mountain collapse". That was when Gus said, "You should of seen it, he not only save all our lives but the lives of our 2 new friends".
By the time all of them arrived back to the fortress Vixen was not the only wondering about their new
friends. In fact David lead a group of humans that almost seemed angry by just their pretense. But
before David could say anything Shar closely followed by Bam-bo came right up to David and says, "We know that are arrival here is a surprise but none is more surprised that us. I sir am Shar, chief Guardian and protector of our most esteem ruler the King of Karma. Before any confusion could take place my friend here is Bam-bo, I should say Prince Bam-bo 4th son to the King of Karma . We came to your land to offer items of trade. Little did we realize we needed rescuing ourselves. Stromkiller, Gus and his brother Shaun should be honored for their bravery. Not only did they rescue us and our trade goods. But with our help we believe we have eliminated the treat you and your people have suffered at the hand of the warriors you know as Vengeance. To honor such an event, that could unite our peoples for times to come we offer you knowledge and our seeds". "Seeds?!", David exclaimed. "There is enough there in the cart to feed our people 10 times over", Stormkiller shouted with a smile. "Is that true?!", David wonders. "It is and then some", Gus adds. "Of course you will need our knowledge of what to do with some of what we have, namely the herbs and some of the vegetables to bring out their flavor. But we also have recipes to share with all of you".
It took David a moment or two to take all of it in, but he then slapped Stromkiller on the back saying, "Once again I find myself grateful for what you have done". Smiling from ear to ear Stromkiller replies, "I am happy to be at your service once again" feeling extremely proud of himself. With Gus at one end of the cart and Shaun the other, as Gus says, "We will handle the cart, you need to be with your family". Then Shar added, "And we need to talk to you David about the future, for both Green Bend Fortress and the people of Karma". At that moment Stromkiller did not know what to say, but Vixen had the answer, "Stromkiller I love you". She then kiss him on the cheek as everyone else went back inside the fortress.
