This is a small series that is quite different. I once was watching a piece of art being drawn through a live stream. The other people watching were telling the artist what to do. I thought 'Hey, why not do something like that with writing?' And so, here it is. This entire thing is driven by the readers. This gives it flexibility and is able to go in any direction. You, the reader have the power to control the exact direction of the story. So, if you like this idea, let me know and give me your suggestions and I'll get to work.

Enjoy!

"I can't believe it!" I said angrily as I kicked at the dirt on the forest floor.

_ What,_ said a voice inside my head. That your girlfriend couldn't handle the truth? You know that kind of information is hard to swallow.

"Talon, shut the hell up!" I screamed at my other half. "You had an equal part in this. We both agreed to tell her one of our closest secrets."

Let's go for a flight. I feel the same amount of stress from school and the rest of life as you do. We share the same body, remember? What affects you, affects me. Flying will help clear your mind and calm you down.

"Alright." I said reluctantly as I relinquished control. I felt Talon's mind push past mine and take control. We removed our cloths as our body began to change. Our hands grew into those belonging to a dragon; fingernails elongated and hardened into large, shiny, onyx black claws; we fell over onto all fours. Our body grew longer and taller; growing to a length of around 64 feet from chest to tail to tail and having a height of around 42 feet at the shoulders. Our skin turned blood red as scales sprouted from our pores and covered our body. Two gigantic wings shot form our back with a sickening *crack* along with a bladed spade tip at the end of our tail, sharp enough to slice through anything. Our joints inverted to accommodate or quadrupedal stance. Two large, black horns grew from the top of my skull accompanied by an impressive set of facial spikes of equal color. To finish it all off, A row of sharp, obsidian dorsal spikes ran from our snout, down our back and ended at our tail tip.

With our transformation complete, we leaped into the air and took flight with our 120 foot wingspan. We gave a few pumps with those membranous appendages and quickly gained altitude, soon high within the clouds. With Talon in control, I let my mind wonder just a bit as he performed various loops, rolls, and other aerial acrobatics. Because I was technically a dragon, I had a certain affinity towards fire. As a human, I could control a flame from the intensity of it to even the size and shape of it. As a dragon, it was possible to breath fire and set an entire area alight with flame. Within my circle of friends, I had gained the nickname of "Pyro." But no one, not even my parents knew how true that title really was

My mind reverted back to just a few hours earlier when my girlfriend had broken off our relationship:

"Marie, there is something that you need to know." I said to her.

"What is it, Alex?" She asked with a hint of concern.

"Do you trust me?" This was either going to make or break our relationship.

"Of course, I'd trust you with anything."

Do you REALLY trust me?"

"Alex, just tell me already."

"Okay." I felt a chill run down my spine as Talon tried to soothe the mounting anticipation within me. "I'm...well...a dragon."

"Alex, What do you mean?" She asked. She sounded like the was suddenly afraid of something. "Do you mean figuratively?"

"No." I said, already knowing that I'd lost her. "I mean literally."

She just backed away from me and ran the opposite direction.

I got an email from her when I got home:

'Alex, I don't think you're mentally sound. And I can't be around someone that thinks they're a dragon. It's childish and I think it would be better for us to go our separate ways.'

I ran off into the woods while Talon tried to comfort me. I wanted a woman that would be able to accept every facet of me. And that included Talon.

Talon sensed my darkening thoughts, "C'mon, Alex cheer up." He said, "There are plenty other females in the world for us.

Yeah right. I retorted.I've always been told that. And I have yet to find someone even remotely close.

"Just give it time. We are young," I knew that he was trying to be encouraging. "and there are over 6 billion people on the planet."

How acan you be so upbeat about things? We are most likely the only one of our kind and I doubt that anyone would be very accepting of that fact.

"Oh, I don't know why I am." He said, "I just have a felling that it will work itself out. Trust me"
