Chapter 5: A New Guardian
Shalone lead Luxray and the group to the training room. It had a dragon statue in the way but as soon as Shalone pressed something the floor opened and the statue began to sink down slowly into the floor. Luxray stared in amazement observing the room with a keen eye. He was interrupted when Shalone stepped into Luxray's view. She giggled as she walked past him.
-Okay now step in the circle. Shalone said with eagerness.
Luxray stepped into the huge circle and Spyro went with him to see what he can do.
-Okay now imagine an enemy. Any enemy. Shalone said.
Luxray imagined a heartless he encountered before and it looked mad. Spyro wanted to see if he could beat it. So Spyro rushed it. The heartless summoned a katana like blade and intercepted his claws and almost flew back. Spyro doubled back and rammed him down. The heartless got up and jumped up. It did a flip and landed in front of the dragon and kicked him in the face. Spyro flew back and was hit pretty bad.
The heartless walked towards him slowly. Luxray summoned a gunblade. His blade started to glow yellow and his blade started to pulse lighting. It went down from the handle all the way to the tip of the blade. Luxray ran and jumped up. The heartless turned around and he was nearly caught off guard. Luxray swung his blade downwards in attempt to finish this quickly. But the heartless block and its blade started to pulse darkness.
-What!? Luxray said in surprise.
THe heartless only laughed evilly and pushed Luxray back. It rushed him and started to do combos on Luxray. Luxray blocked as many as he can and dodged the rest he couldn't block. Luxray lightning blade started to fade away and was replaced with a light like energy. He was surprised but took the chance to slay the heartless. He rushed him once more and the heartless blocked. The heartless started to combos on Luxray but her blocked them all and counter one the hits. Which sent the heartless upwards. Luxray jumped up did a flip then kicked him down on the ground. THe heartless hit the ground pretty hard. Then Luxray finished it off with a powerful energy wave from his blade. He whip the blade and a wave of energy left the blade and hit the heartless and it cut it directly in half horizontally. Luxray landed on the ground to only fall on his back panting for air. Shalone was shocked on how he can fight so well.
-Wow Cynder said walking to Spyro's aid.
-Oh crap. Flame said walking towards Spyro.
Shalone walked towards Luxray with Ember close behind. Luxray caught his breath and sit up to get a better view on what just happened.
-Luxray? Shalone looked at Luxray with concern
-Yes?
-Your an awesome fighter.
-Well thanks but i still gotta train.
-Luxray. Ember said with concern,
-Yes Ember?
-Are you crazy!? You could of gotten killed out there! You gotta be more careful.
-Gee i didn't know you was so concern.
The doors opened behind them and it was Cyril. THe Ice dragon looked at the group.
-Luxray Venessa wishes to see you.
-Venom?
Luxray got up and followed Cyril. Luxray waved good-bye to the dragons and the doors closed behind him.
-So what does Venom want? Luxray asked.
-I don't know she wouldn't tell me.
-Hmm?
Luxray and Cyril walked down the hall towards the guardians room. The doors open upon their arrival. Terrador and Volteer was waiting for them. Luxray was unsure on whats going on but he would soon find out.
-Okay so whats going on? Luxray asked eager to get an answer.
-Well Venom know another Fire Guardian but refuses to tell us unless one of us finds her friend.
-Well i can help her.
-Good Luck Luxray she won't let nobody in. She's in a room we gave her and she locked it tight.
-HA watch this. Luxray said with pride. Lead me to her room.
The dragons lead Luxray towards her room. Luxray knocked on the door.
-Go away. Venom said sounding depressed.
-Watch this Luxray whispered to the other dragons. Venom may I come in please its Luxray.
Venom got up and unlocked the door.
-See i'm good. Luxray said with pride as he walked in.
Luxray entered her room. It was dark but he could sill see. He closed the door and it was completely dark he couldn't see nothing.
-Lock the door. I don't wanna be disturbed.
Luxray locked the door and walked towards Venom blindly.
-Venom please don't be sad. It's not cool to be sad. Luxray said.
-Please Luxray just leave me alone. I don't want to be disturbed.
Luxray walked towards Venom's voice. He felt her body laying lifelessly in a bed. Luxray found her head and began to rub her softly on her back. He got a cute purr from her.
-Now Venom please tell me whats wrong.
Venom lifted her head and nuzzled Luxray's chest softly.
-Luxray i have a friend her name is "Dakara". She's a dear friends of mine. And She's the Guardian Of Darkness. She ad I been through a lot together. And i miss her.
Luxray felt sorry for her and rubbed her face and lifted her head towards his head.
-Listen to me Venom. If we...no WHEN we find your friend you will tell where the Fire Guardian is.
-Yes i will.
Luxray gave Venom a light kiss.
-Come on Venom lets go tell the guardians.
Venom led Luxray to the door. Luxray opened the door to only see the Guardians waiting for them.
-So... Cyril started to say.
-Okay I will go now. Luxray said slightly annoyed.
Luxray went on a balcony and hit his right shoulder piece. His armor then flashed on. He had a helmet shaped like a dragon. He then jumped in the air and threw his gunblade. It flashed and turned into a air bike. He jumped on and rev the bike. The dragons watched in amazement.
-So Venom where is Dakara? Luxray asked.
-She is by Malefore's lair. She's been imprisoned.
That made Luxray's blood boil and he zoomed east towards Malefore's Lair. He zoomed on his air bike going very fast. He made it to Malefore's Lair within minutes. Luxray landed his air bike jumped off and race towards the caves. He ran as fast as he could to only see a Black Dragoness about to get raped. Luxray jumped summoned a gunblade sliced through the bars and impaled the creature. THe Dragoness looked at him in fear. Luxray slice her chains holding her down. She was to weak to move so Luxray came up to her and picked her up. He walked out the cave and out the dragoness on the back of his air bike.
-Don't worry your're in good hands. Luxray said trying to comfort her.
THe Dragoness past out and Luxray quickly jumped on his air bike and zoomed from Malefore's Lair. He went fast and made to the city. He landed the bike on the balcony. He got off and went to the back of the bike. He picked her up and ran towards the Guardians room. He ran with all his might. He nearly burst through the door. He sat her down in front of the guardians and all was quiet.
