I decided to get over my writer's block by writing little blurbs about Vorel. Hopefully it'll get the creative juices flowing.

"Interesting. I didn't know you were a life alchemist," Vorel said, holding her hands above the small creature radiating dry heat in the back of the wagon. A small figure behind her grinned, his jagged teeth peeking out from beneath his sickly white flesh.

"Yes... quite adept, quite adept. Why?" The whisper issuing forth from the gaunt little man was akin to rustling of dead reeds in a winter breeze. Some would think he had lost his voice, that he was ill or perhaps fearful of being overheard. They would be wrong. Q was a creep- a faerie, and a damned brilliant one at that. His wagon was decorated with strange, fleshy substances, plants, and hand-crafted living organisms that made some of the most horrifying sounds and stenches even the undead had ever witnessed. The necromancer weighed her bag of gold and shot a sly look over her shoulder at him.

"How much for a body?"

"A.. body?" She nodded.

"One with fully functioning organs, if you're able..." Q's black eyes lit up with interest as his listened to her proposition, making calculations on a small writing pad and doing the math as quickly as he could.

"All in all for a suit of flesh? One thousand gold pieces. I can bind it to your aura for anther five hundred, and it would benefit from your artifacts. I could have it done in, say, a month. It's a living organism, so it will need to eat. However, it won't need to eat until the apex of your power. Your flesh should be enough to fuel it until then." There was a resounding clink as Vorel tossed a bag of gold on his desk.

"No tricks. This is important." Q bowed low, his eyes never leaving hers.

"For the money you're paying, it will be perfect." The jackal stood and thanked him, taking her leave. Outside she was greeted by a young wolf with white fur and a air of smug confidence about him, stringing a bow with a grim look etched upon his features.

"Valgar, what it is?"

"Pixies."
