"Nolan..."

"NOLAN..."

"NOLAN!"

I open my eyes and sit up, feeling confused as I look around. Gradually, my vision returns.

"Wha...?" I rub my eyes and let out a sleepy yawn.

"We gotta go. C'mon now, get up!" Sebastian's voice pierces my drowsiness.

"Woah, you don't have to yell," I mumble sleepily.

Sebastian leaves the room and shuts the door behind him. I yawn once more and look around. I find myself on Sebastian's bed, still tucked in well. 'Sebastian must have tucked me in or something...' I think to myself. I get off the bed, stretch, and yawn again. I look at the bathroom door; the idea of a refreshing shower lures me. So I walk into the bathroom and gaze at myself in the mirror. I smile and open the glass door to the shower room. I turn on the water; the warm water hits and flows down from the top of my fur onto my skin. There's a knock on the door, then Sebastian shouts through the door.

"Are you almost done?"

"I'll be out in a minute!" I say loudly, quickly applying shampoo and soap.

I quickly rinse away the soap with the soothing warm water. I turn off the water, shake some water off me, and step out of the shower into the blow-dry room. I turn on the blower for a minute. After I'm dry, I put on fresh clothes and quickly go downstairs.

"Good morning, sunshine, hurry up," he urges. "We're very, very, very late. I made sandwiches; grab one and let's go!"

I rush to the kitchen for a quick drink of water and two sandwiches.

"Sebastian, did you pack my luggage?" I call out.

"It's in my suitcase," he replies. "I'm gonna be in the car!"

I dash towards the garage, throw on my shoes, and lock the door behind me. As I crawl into the car and take my seat, Sebastian checks, "You've got your phone and stuff?"

"Yep," I confirm.

Sebastian opens the garage door and hits the pedal. As we merge onto the highway, he starts some music, humming softly to the tune and drumming on the steering wheel. I glance at him briefly before turning my gaze to the passing scenery. The traffic is dense, but there's no gridlock.

"About that basketball game, you didn't tell me what happened to you," I say, trying to start a conversation.

"I didn't?" Sebastian glances at me, "Well, it wasn't anything big. It was just me jumping too high and landing on my head."

"Wait, on your head?!" I look at my brother, "Did you get a concussion or something?"

"Nah, it wasn't a hard fall anyway," he replies.

"But I thought the coach said you had a sprained ankle or something?" I look at him again.

"Mhm, I just had a sprained ankle and some bruises here and there," Sebastian said.

"I see," I reply.

I look out the window and admire the views flying by. My phone dings, and I check the notification.

"Tommy said that he and Johnson are already there. Nat said that they're still on their way," I read, "Should I tell them that we're also on our way?"

"Just tell them that we have thirty more minutes," Sebastian said.

"Kay," I say and text.

After I'm done texting, I go over to an offline game and start playing.

"Pawstars...how old are you..." Sebastian sighs as he looks over.

"What? Don't act like you don't play it too," I taunt back.

"I do not, I stream on PC," Sebastian said in a high ego voice.

"What stream are you doing? Last time I checked, streamers don't stream naked," I tease.

"I have no idea what you're talking about..." Sebastian said and looks away.

"You're blushing, aren't you?" I laugh evilly, "Do you have any idea how loud you are?"

Sebastian doesn't respond, and I chuckle a few more times.

"Let's drop that topic, shall we?" Sebastian finally says.

"What platform do you stream on, eh?" I continue to tease him.

"I said drop it," Sebastian said.

"How many viewers do you get each time?" I taunt again.

"I said drop it!" Sebastian said, getting louder and angrier.

"Do you think your viewers like what you-" I lean towards Sebastian and taunt again.

"I SAID DROP IT!" Sebastian said, fully angry.

"Ok ok! Chill!" I back away.

"NEVER talk about this ever again," Sebastian said, "Never bring it up again, and don't you dare tell anyone about this."

"Fine..." I say, "I'm sorry..."

"It's alright, I won't do...uh...those types of streams again," Sebastian said.

I smile awkwardly and look away. Sebastian focuses on the road again. Soon after, we finally arrive at the campsite. I text in the group chat saying that we have arrived. A second later, a white wolf comes running towards us.

"Hey Tommy!" I wave, smiling.

"Nolan! Sebastian!!" Tommy hugs both of us, "It's been so long!"

Tommy is a white Arctic wolf that's about six feet tall. He was one of the best basketball players in my school. But now he has graduated and is playing professional basketball. My brother and he are good friends, and Tommy is a very nice person if you know him personally.

"Come on, let's get going!" Tommy smiles and leads the way.
