Into the Belly of the...Beast? (commission)

This was a commission for the lovely Emono, some soft vore with Ranga of Rimuru! Thanks as always for commissioning me

It was a quiet day in Tempest City, or rather, there was peace and quiet in the outskirts at least. Rimuru sat relaxing on the grass in the shade beneath a great oak tree. He planted his palms in the smooth grass behind him and leaned back to take in the gentle afternoon breeze.

Next to him, Ranga looked up at his master, and, upon seeing the content smile on his face, happily wagged his tail.

"Good boy, Ranga." Rimuru grinned and scratched Ranga behind the ear.

"Thank you, master." The Tempest Wolf wagged faster and licked his master's face, earning a laugh and a playful push. "It is nice to see you so happy and relaxed today, Lord Rimuru."

"Well, how could I not be? There isn't much going on that I need to tend to. Heck, I needed a day to just...relax, do a whole lot of nothing, without any distractions-"

"Hey, Lord Rimuru!"

As if on some sort of cue, two distractions in the form of Kijin jogged up to the pair.

"Lord Rimuru, will you please try my new soba dish?" Shion produced a bubbling pot of viscous, purple-hued...there was no better word for it...goop.

"Uhhh, no thanks, Shion, I'm still full from breakfast..." Rimuru backed up into Ranga, who was bristling a bit from the unceremonious interruption of his Lord Rimuru's downtime.

"Do you have time to go over some expense reports, Lord Rimuru?" Shuna gestured with a thick stack of parchment paper. "I have several questions."

"Well, atually..."

Ranga stood and firmly planted himself between the ladies and Lord Rimuru. "Today is Lord Rimuru's day off, and he will not be overworked or...poisoned, on his day of vacationing."

The Kijin ladies tried to creen around Ranga's fluffy body to get a look at Rimuru. They weren't backing down. Lord Rimuru was yet again in high demand, it seemed.

"Ladies, ladies, please..." Rimuru held up his hands, silently pleading with them to get the hint.

Finally, Ranga stood up and nudged Rimuru onto his back before he galloped away from them to give his master some space. The Kijin called after them, but their voices soon faded into the wind as the Tempest Wolf ran.

They found another relaxing spot beneath a different tree and once again stretched out together in the shade.

"Thanks for that, Ranga."

"Don't mention it, Lord Rimuru. You're the most deserving of a break today."

Rimuru nodded. He had only just gotten comfortable again, when...

"Lord Rimuru!"

Rimuru groaned inwardly and looked up. This time, two Hobgoblins, Gobta and Rigurd, came ambling up to the pair.

"Hey! We're going scouting! Will you join us, Lord Rimuru?" Gobta brandished his sword and fought an invisible opponent before he struck a pose.

"It was his idea." Rigurd shrugged. "Could be good to get a little battling in, eh? Ranga can join us."

"Well, actually... Ranga and I are taking the day off. To relax." Rimuru splayed his hands and leaned back against the Tempest Wolf in an obvious show of his intent to rest.

"Relax?! There's no time for relaxation!!" Gobta waved his sword around again while Rigurd took a small side step away from him.

Even Gobta and Rigurd are fired up today?! What's gotten into everyone....? Rimuru thought. I thought for sure Gobta would be jumping on the opportunity for a day of napping and doing a whole lot of nothing... but now he wants to go on a mission?!

While Rigurd and Gobta launched into a conversation in an attempt to convince Rimuru to join them, Ranga dutifully scooped his master up and trotted away.

"Thanks, but no thanks! Not today. Catch ya next time!!!" Rimuru called after them.

Ranga smiled. He kept running long after the Hobgoblins were out of sight.

"We're going to run out of daylight and then our day of rest will be over..." Rimuru sighed in frustration as he face-planted into the soft grass beneath yet another tree.

Ranga shuffled his paws anxiously. He opened his mouth as if to speak, but closed it again. In his head, a mental battle raged: should he say what he was thinking, or not?

When he realized Lord Rimuru could see that he had something to say and was patiently waiting for him to speak, the Tempest Wolf made his decision to speak his mind.

"Master...I have an idea for you to aid in your day of relaxing."

Rimuru sat up straight. "You do? Why didn't you tell me sooner, silly?" He patted Ranga's broad and soft forehead, which earned a wag from the Tempest Wolf.

Ranga paused to gather his thoughts again. "It is more of a...place, actually, rather than an idea for master to hide where you won't be found." He wagged tentatively and scanned his master's face for a reaction.

Rimuru brightened considerably. He scratched behind each of his companion's ears. "And, where is this place?" He prompted, after Ranga had fallen silent again.

"Do you trust me, Lord Rimuru?"

"Of course I trust you, Ranga!"

Ranga's anxiety displayed itself in a round of licks to his own nose. "You could hide in my tummy, Lord Rimuru!"

"Okay - wait, what?!"

The Tempest Wolf dipped into a play bow. Now that his idea was out, his excitement traveled through his body language. "Yes!" He exclaimed. "You can crawl into my mouth and I will swallow you gently and send you into my belly. There, you will be safe and away from view."

Rimuru pondered this. "Great Sage...is this even possible? And safe?"

Affirmative. You have Acid Shield, which will protect you from the digestive enzymes of stomach acid and saliva, as well as provide protection from the immune system of other living beings. This ability was granted subsequent to the defeat of a Voreatian Beetle, a species able to survive being swallowed whole by its natural predators. Once eaten, the beetle proceeds to journey through the digestive tract, where at the end of which-"

"Okay, too much information on that skill." Rimuru shook his head. "I would definitely get out through your mouth, right? I could probably crawl up your throat, or you can cough me out."

"Correct!" Ranga nodded, he had thought this particular aspect through as well. "Master, I have also gained a special ability from an enemy I have recently defeated. It allows me to expand my stomach capacity as well as pause digestion." Ranga wagged.

"And...how exactly did you discover this ability of yours...? Actually, nevermind. We can talk about that later. I'll accept the invite, let's...let's try this eating thing out."

"Yes, Lord Rimuru!" Ranga got down low, opened his mouth wide, and held it open and steady. His tongue unfurled sort of like a red carpet for his master.

"Should I just...?" Rimuru gently placed one foot on Ranga's tongue and felt a rush of warm, damp air rush over him as he exhaled. He held onto his snout gently and put his other foot down on the soft, unfurled tongue. Okay, this is really happening....

Ranga gently moved his head back and effectively scooped Rimuru into his mouth. He moved very slowly and gently so as not to startle Lord Rimuru while he was inside his maw. Rimuru briefly held onto the Tempest Wolf's snout again to steady himself.

"Okay, Ranga. I'm ready."

As Rimuru started to sit down, Ranga tilted his head back and situated the human-shaped slime on top of his tongue. He kept him there for a little while and moved him carefully around inside his mouth. The purpose of this was to coat him in saliva in preparation for the impending journey down the Tempest Wolf's throat. At first, his master felt tense and stiff, but gradually, he began to relax and shift into a position that was comfortable for him.

It's so warm in here... Rimuru mused. Not to mention, the tongue beneath him felt like a soft and springy bed. Although all of Ranga's sharp teeth were clearly visible, there was still plenty of space inside his mouth to allow for a safe distance away from them. It was an interesting feeling, to be in the jaws of a huge Tempest Wolf, but to be completely and utterly safe. And now, he was about to visit the belly of the beast.

Ranga moved his head up again, gulped gently, and sent Rimuru to slide down his gullet.

Rimuru went down relatively smoothly, and felt strong throat muscles squeeze him from all sides as he slipped down his throat. He squeezed into Ranga's stomach, which stretched and distended a bit to accommodate him.

The Tempest Wolf flopped over on his side, stretched his paws, and flexed his toe beans. "Lord Rimuru, are you comfortable...?"

When there wasn't an immediate response, Ranga whined slightly and flattened his ears to his skull. "Lord Rimuru?"

"I'm great, Ranga! Sorry, I was just analyzing your tummy." Rimuru reached out and, at last, pressed his hand into the soft lining of Ranga's stomach. "It's...really nice in here, actually. Comfortable, too..."

Ranga's tail wagged uncontrollably. "I am glad to hear that, Lord Rimuru. This means very much to me!"

"You have my trust, Ranga. Thank you for telling me about your idea."

"Of course, master, I am honored!" Ranga proudly held his head up. He licked and nuzzled his tummy, earning a delighted chuckle from Rimuru as he was snuggled from the outside.

A chorus of voices interrupted the tender moment.

"Lord Rimuru...?!"

Ranga looked up to find Shuna, Shion, Rigurd, and Gobta, who were now walking up to him.

"Hey Ranga!" Shion greeted him. "Have you seen Lord Rimuru?"

"He was with you earlier." Rigurd added. "Is he okay?"

"Lord Rimuru has...gone for a quick fly, but he is just fine." Ranga couldn't help but wag his tail when he thought about where his master was safely hiding. "He will be back later."

"Oh, okay. I'll have to scout with him when he gets back." Gobta shrugged.

"He'll just have to try my dish later." Shion sighed.

"I'll save my questions for him for tonight." Said Shuna.

"Say, Ranga, do you want to get lunch with us?" Shion offered with a smile.

"He looks like he ate lunch already." Rigurd nodded at the Tempest Wolf's prominent tummy.

Inside, Rimuru remained absolutely still to play the part of Ranga's meal.

"He's right, I have already hunted down a significant meal and I need an afternoon nap." Ranga explained.

"Alright then. Catch ya later!"

Ranga lazily waved a paw as the group turned and headed back down towards Tempest City.

Rimuru spoke up after a while. "You know, Ranga, I really could get used to this."

"Really, Lord Rimuru?"

"Yeah! I think I'll take a trip into your tummy next time I need a break. Or...just for fun."

"Anytime you'd like, Lord Rimuru, just let me know."

"Thanks, Ranga. You're a good boy." Rimuru rubbed Ranga's belly from inside, and heard his tail thump. "For now, I'm going to stay right here." Still in a somewhat curled position, he stretched and put his arms behind his head. He closed his eyes and let out a deep, relaxed sigh.

I'm tired from all that running around trying to avoid doing anything...

Rimuru tuned into Ranga's heartbeat, gentle breathing, and stomach gurgles, and soon drifted into a peaceful slumber.

When he heard Lord Rimuru's gentle, even breathing, Ranga deduced that he had fallen asleep. The fact that his master trusted him enough to fall asleep in such an environment as his stomach was more than enough of a reward for his loyalty.

Ranga lowered his head to his belly and whispered: "I will be at your side forever, Lord Rimuru." The Tempest Wolf yawned before he put his head between his paws and closed his eyes for a nap.
