Sunny walked along the halls of the Jade Mountain academy, the other dragonets greeted her with smiles and hellos, and she smiled back at them. Wonder what Starflight's being read today She thought, probably something about Pantala. She entered the library, and smiled over at Starflight.

"Where's Fatespeaker?" She asked. "I thought she would be here today."

"No, she's trying to get a new class." Starflight told her.

"Good for her." Sunny replied. "How are you?"

"Good, just sorting." Starflight replied

He seemed out of focus, as he picked up each scroll and set it into its place. Sunny walked up beside him and tapped his talons with hers.

"Are you sure you're okay? You've been acting strange lately."

"It's just a headache, nothing to worry about." He shooed her back as he set another scroll on a shelf behind her.

Sunny sat back, and sighed, wondering if this was about her.

"We got a message back from Blue and Cricket." Starflight told her.

"Oh? What is it?"

"The council, along with Hazel and Sequoia, have decided to send five dragonets of each tribe here."

"Fifteen more dragonets? That's going to be interesting."

We have to start preparing, we need to set up silk hammocks for the Silkwings, some sort of elevated platform for the Leafwings, an I don't know what for the Hivewings. Sunny thought. And what does everybody eat? She heard a thump behind her and waved the thought off, it was probably Starflight bumping into something, but when she turned back to him, she saw him on the ground, writhing in pain.

"Starflight?" Sunny called, and rushed to his side.

One of the Skywing dragonets rushed out to get help, Sunny grabbed Starflight and pinned him to the floor. He groaned and called out her name.

"Starflight! I'm here, what's wrong?" Sunny called to him.

Starflight gasped and fell back, Sunny noticed he wasn't breathing and rushed forward to start pushing on his chest.

"Starflight! Stay with me!" She called.

Starflight gasped again and he arched his head up.

"Find the Guardian

Find the Healer

He is the light and the dark

The king of kings

Of a tribe more powerful than any other

_ _

His statue lies frozen

In a land of ice

Break it and free him

Bringer of sun,

Find the Guardian

_ _

He is the one that can use magic beyond any other

There are few limits to his power

_ _

Heal the Night

Tame the Fire

Save the Rain

Free the Sea

_ _

Find the Titans"

Starflight repeat the last line several times before passing out again. Sunny sat back with a sigh, thankful that he was breathing again. Something deep in her heart had been brought out at the thought of him dying, and it made her feel scared, and impossibly alone without him. She didn't have time to think deeply on these thoughts before Clay rushed into the room and up to Starflight.

"What happened?"

"I think... I think he had a prophecy." Sunny replied

Starflight groaned and felt around. "Clay? Sunny? What's going on?"

"You had a prophecy." Clay told him.

"It nearly killed you." Sunny added.

Tsunami rushed into the library and looked down at Starflight.

"You scared me!" She gasped. "Citrine said you were dying."

"I think he was." Sunny told her. "He stopped breathing, then he had a prophecy."

Tsunami froze, and looked over at Sunny. "What? How? Why?"

"I don't know. Starflight, out of every scroll you have ever read, have you ever heard mention of somebody called 'The Guardian'?"

Starflight thought for a moment. "Yes, there are a few mentions of him. He was the dragon who helped build the tribes after the scorching. Legends say he is immortal, and helped to protect many tribes from entering wars with each other. Why?"

"The prophecy said 'Find the Guardian.' It actually had instructions on how to find them, and where." Sunny replied.

"Where is he?" Clay asked.

"The Icewing kingdom, trapped, or imprisoned." Sunny replied. "And I think I'm meant to go find him."

"Oh, no." Tsunami cut in. "No more prophecies!"

"You said that two prophecies ago, and here we are." Clay replied.

"It also said a bunch of other stuff. 'Heal the night, tame the fire, save the rain, and free the sea. What would that mean?" Sunny added.

"Night could be Starflight, I'm the sea, and Glory is the rain? But who would be the fire?" Tsunami asked.

"Peril." Clay replied.

Everybody gasped at the realization.

"It does mean us." Starflight replied.

"It said bringer of sun, that's me. I think I need to go to the ice kingdom and find him." Sunny replied.

"Who's going to the ice kingdom?" Qibli asked, walking into the library.

"Nobody, not even you." Tsunami told Sunny.

Qibli looked down at Starflight. "Uhm, what happened?"

"I had a prophecy." Starflight mumbled, rubbing his forehead.

Qibli gasped. "Find the guardian?"

Everybody went silent and looked over at Qibli.

"Moon had the same one, she said something about death and destruction if we don't follow it."

"That's the same for every one." Tsunami groaned.

"When?" Starflight asked.

"Just now, I came to find you and ask you about a guardian." Qibli answered.

"I'm leaving tomorrow morning." Sunny stated. "This seems important if it almost killed Starflight."

Qibli gasped and looked over at Starflight, who nodded, and tried to get up. Sunny helped him, and the group walked out of the library. They were walking back to their quarters when Fatespeaker rushed up and nearly knocked them over.

"Starflight! Are you okay? I heard something happened, what happened?"

"I'm fine, don't worry, just a prophecy." Starflight told her.

Fatespeaker sighed, then jerked up again. "Wait? What?"

"I'll explain, he needs rest." Clay led her away, but she kept shooting worried looks back at them.

Tsunami walked them to Starflight's cave and he let go of Sunny and stumbled inside.

"You should stay with him." Tsunami told her. "Make sure he's okay, I have some work to get done."

Sunny nodded, and walked into Starflights room. His desk was filled with the his and Tamarin's project. They were trying to figure out a way for blind dragons to read.

"You shouldn't go, I don't want you to go." Starflight told her.

"It said 'heal the night,' That could mean that there is something wrong with you." Sunny replied. "But that could also mean your eyesight. If there is a possibility that you can see again, I will try my hardest to make it happen."

Starflight gasped slightly, and turned his head toward her. She could see the surprise on his face, as if he hadn't thought she would do something like that for him. She noticed his wings perk up for a second, then droop back down. What was that about?

"You don't have to do something like that for me." Starflight replied.

"Of course I do." Sunny replied

Qibli snuck into the cave and glanced around.

"Your not really supposed to be in here Qibli." Sunny told him.

"I snuck in to give you something." He told her.

He handed her a pearl bracelet, she took it and examined it closely.

"What is this?" Sunny asked.

"Anemone made it a while back. It's a bracelet that allows you to fully turn into any tribe of dragon you want. Don't worry, you fully remain you, and the only things that change is that you fully understand the workings of the tribe you become." Qibli explained.

"What is it for?" Sunny replied

"So you can get to the ice kingdom. This will get you past the Great Cliff, and will hide you from other Icewings. It will also protect you from the cold."

Sunny turned the bracelet over, and slowly put it on.

"Nothing will happen until you hold the bracelet and say 'I want to be an Icewing.' Then the bracelet can only be seen and touched by you." Qibli added.

Sunny looked up. "Won't Anemone miss this?"

Qibli smiled. "I used Turtle's bowl, and I made one for myself too, just in case."

Sunny frowned. "I don't know how I feel about you having an animus touched object like that."

Qibli chuckled. "Really, that is so interesting."

He flicked his earring, and Sunny rolled her eyes.

"Nevermind." Sunny sighed. "Thank you"

Qibli nodded and walked out of the cave.

Starflight settled into his sleeping area with a sigh, and set his head on his front paws. Sunny curled up on the floor not far from him and looked over at him with worry. Is this a seer thing? Or could there be another thing going on? Is he sick? Sunny hoped that he was okay, and that being born on a brightest night might have caused what happened. She felt her eyes close shut and slowly fell asleep.
