Picking Up Gifts at the Last Minute

"There's only ten minutes left until mall close, only ten minutes! Happy holidays!" The intercom blared over the frenzy of last-minute shoppers. The shops that had been full to bursting the entire day finally started to be unburdened of their customers. One particular shop, called Wrap It Up! by the small sign out front, was one of the smaller shops that seemed to be almost empty, save for the black-scaled dragon that sat behind the counter and lazily read a magazine. He didn't seem to mind the lack of attention, nor when his silence was broken as a potential customer wandered in to look at their stock of wrapping paper and wrapping accessories.

"Welcome to Wrap it Up, the last stop for all your Christmas needs." The dragon said in a monotone before he looked up from his magazine to see the man right in front of the counter. It was a husky, a rather friendly looking one with an unusual purple coloration in his fur instead of the usual black or grey. He wore a football jersey, some team he hadn't heard of, as his blue eyes looked down at him. The dragon smiled slightly to himself as he saw a small slip of paper in his hand, what appeared to be a hastily clipped coupon.

Right behind him he noticed another canine walk in behind him, this one definitely a wolf with rather strange clothes on and an air about him he couldn't quite fathom at the moment. His attention was quickly brought back to the husky as he cleared his throat and waved the piece of paper in his face. The dragon gave him a toothy smile and plucked the coupon from his paw, which he knew was good for a free item of their choice. "So what do you want for your free item?" He asked as he stood up.

"Uh, I'm not sure actually." The purple husky replied with a sheepish grin. "I almost forgot about it until I passed by here, I usually just get all my stuff gift-wrapped by the store. Care to suggest anything in particular?"

"Oh, I get that a lot." The dragon replied with a grin as he looked down at the name on the coupon. "So... Lightning, I think I may have just a thing for you." Lightning could have sworn he saw the dragon's eyes glow as he ducked down beneath the counter and came up with several rolls of different colored wrapping paper. "My employers don't like giving away our special stuff, but for a stud like you I think I can make an exception. This is paper made with fibers from a type of rubber tree; it prevents the paper from crinkling and makes the smoothest edges I've ever seen. Anyone you give a gift wrapped like that too will think that you spent hours wrapping the thing. Trust me, it'll be a sure hit. Now normally I'd suggest red and green for Christmas, but I think purple and white would suit you better."

Lightning blushed slightly as the dragon shamelessly flirted with him as he handed him the two rather large rolls of paper and grabbed the coupon from his hand. "Thanks... uh..."

"The name's Renzyl." The dragon replied with a smile. "I'm happy to have provided for all your wrapping needs." He could tell the husky was thoroughly embarrassed, which only caused him to smile even more as he left and the brown wolf took his place at the front of the counter. Now that he had a better look at him he noticed what made him stand out, he was decked out in clothes of a definite mage design and his hair was the color of steel.

"I have the same coupon as that gentleman did I believe." He said as he placed the piece of paper from a hidden pocket in front of him. Even when he talked he had the air of magic about him, something that made the dragon very uncomfortable as he looked underneath the counter. He quickly shook it off and came back up with three rolls of ribbon, one red with a white twist along it, one green with a white twist down it, and one a solid shade of blue. "What is this? You gave the man before me special paper and all I get is some ribbon."

"Not just any ribbon!" Renzyl replied with a sheepish grin as he laid them out for the customer to see, at the same time taking a look at the name on the coupon. "This is ribbon specifically designed for the mage in mind. Tiny silver circuitry runs through the entire thing, which coupled with telepathic abilities allow for perfect bows in nearly an eighth of a time! It will make all your wrapping go by in a flash so you can attend to more important things, right Baylith?"

The mage narrowed his eyes at him with scrutiny, and as he did so Renzyl though he saw a purple haze pass over his eyes before they returned to their normal blue coloration. "That sounds... reasonable." He said finally as he scooped up the three bundles and put them in his bag. "Good day to you... Renzyl was it? Merry Christmas."

"You too." Renzyl replied as he waved the wolf out, and then shuddered. "Mages..." with the store once more empty he went back to his magazine, only to have someone else trigger his door chime. He grumbled and put his magazine down one more, this time to see a brown python naga slither his way through the small aisles. The sight brought a ping of recognition, though he couldn't for the life of him know why. The snake was rather cute though, perhaps they had flirted somewhere before...

"Greetingsss shopkeep!" The python said as he made his way up to the dragon, then had a look of recollection himself as he looked up and down Renzyl. "Sssay, have we met before? You ssseem familiar."

"Nope, not that I can think of..." Renzyl replied as he held out his hand to take the coupon the naga produced for him. "So, Amethystine, have anything-" He stopped mid-sentence as he read the name once more, then had to struggle to keep an evil sneer off his face as he suddenly remembered the name attached to a 'gift' he had received some months ago. Now he didn't feel bad at all about what would happen to him, though his two weeks skulking along as a naga were not that bad. In fact, as he recalled, it was rather fun as he gained better control of the form.

"Um, hello?" Amethystine said as he waved a clawed hand in front of Renzyl's face, which snapped him back to the present.

"Sorry about that, thought I had an idea of where I may have seen you." The dragon quickly replied as innocently as he could as he reached below the counter and pulled out several packages of what appeared to be tissue paper and several bags. "Why don't you try this? Instead of spending all that time with boxes and wrapping paper you can just put your items into bags and put this decorative tissue paper in with it! Not only will it keep, say, glassware or other types of storage containers safe and upright, but this paper is designed to disintegrate several hours after opening the bag, which makes clean-up a snap and no clutter! What do you think?"

"I think I'm sssold." The naga replied as he quickly snatched up the brightly colored paper and put it in his shopping bag. "You've been very helpful, it'sss too bad that you have to spend your Chrissstmasss Eve ssstuck in a place like thisss. You probably don't want to even look at another gift after you're done here."

"Oh, I still have gifts I need to pick up." Renzyl replied dismissively as a large, black-furred werewolf quickly took a spot next to his chatty customer. "They're usually already wrapped though, so I can get them at the last second."

"Lucky you." Amethystine replied as he glanced over at the werewolf. "Well, I should probably get out of your way. Good luck with your lassst-minute giftsss!"

Once more Renzyl had to hide a smirk as he watched the naga leave before he quickly turned to the werewolf. "Welcome to Wrap it Up, how can I help you?" Out of the three canines he had seen so far, this was seemed to be the most normal looking, as well as possibly the most muscular as his pecs and abs could clearly be seen through the tight shirt. He also noticed quite a generous bulge in the leather pants he wore, a mental note he made as he looked up into his yellow eyes and gave him a smile.

"Uh, yeah, I have this thing..." The werewolf, apparently called Kale from the name on the coupon, said sheepishly as he slid it too him. It caught Renzyl a little off guard, the massive creature before him actually seemed a bit on the subby side as he stated he had no idea what he wanted. "Why don't you suggest me something?"

"I think I have just the thing for an impressive clawed beast such as yourself." Renzyl pitched as he brought up several squares of what looked like black silk. "No wrapping required with this product, just place your gift in the middle of it and then grab the edges, and it's like they're getting a cloth goodie bag! Just place some string around the neck and that's it! Plus with claws like yours it would be easy to cut it down to the size you need to avoid wasted excess."

"Sure." Kale replied as he slowly took the parcels, the dragon swore he could see him blush as he gave him a smile back. "Thanks, I hope to see you around sometime."

"You can count on it." Renzyl said with a wink as the werewolf left the store. He chuckled to himself as he watched the cute tail leave, and then breathed a sigh of relief when he looked upon the clock and saw the mall only had three minutes left until it closed. Perhaps the others wouldn't come, either they were stuck in traffic or perhaps were distracted by other things. If no one came in, he would have to close the store down because everyone would be leaving... and almost as if on cue, two more customers entered the door about a minute before he would have been able to close. He resisted the urge to facepalm and instead mustered up the biggest smile he could before he turned to appropriately greet his customers.

The first one took him aback slightly, though he managed to maintain his composure as he looked at the creature most commonly referred to as a 'mewthree', or a mix between human, feline, and reptilian. He hadn't really seen one before now, and as he stared at him he realized they were aptly named. "I had received one of these at my home. Though I really don't have many gifts to wrap it seemed like too good of a deal to pass up."

"Of course it's a good deal Daniel." Renzyl replied as he grabbed the coupon and added it with the small pile he had gathered. "Especially... with this!" Daniel stepped back a bit as the dragon whipped out what seemed like wrapping paper in each paw, one gold and one silver. "This specialty paper makes your gifts seem like they were wrapped in pure gold and silver, which will make them gifts and decorations! Your guests will be so impressed they probably won't even be able to bring it upon themselves to open them."

"Thanks." Daniel blinked as he caught the two rolls of paper the dragon threw into his arms.

Before he could say anything else, the second customer, also black-scaled as the mewthree in front of him, slithered up to the counter and slapped the coupon on the counter. "I made it!" The naga said breathlessly as he placed his clawed hands on the counter. "You have to give me something now, right?"

"Um, of course." Renzyl replied as he actually had to lean back slightly to avoid the scaly snout that was several inches from his own nostrils. The snake was young, a cobra from the stylish hood that swept down his back, with a rather lanky humanoid torso. He looked back to the mewthree, only to find the last of his thick tail wave into the crowd of customers that were leaving the closing mall. What is his sudden attraction to the nagas? _ He thought to himself as he grabbed what should be the final coupon in the set. _Perhaps that time spent in naga form really turned him on...

"I have a few thingsss that I need, and they're rather oddly ssshaped, plusss I'm not good at wrapping." The black naga, the name 'Rian' on his coupon, said as Renzyl leaned down beneath the counter. After a few seconds the dragon came back up with a dozen small tins sealed together in plastic. "What isss that, sssome sssort of glitter? I'm going to need sssomething more sssub-"

"It's called liquid paper." Renzyl interrupted as he looked up at the clock to find he should have closed the store already and hopped over the counter, he stuffed the package into the naga's hands as he walked him out the door. "Just take the brush and give an even coating over the gifts and when it dries it tears off just like regular paper. A must have for the novice wrapper. Now I really must be closing, have a merry Christmas and thank you for using Wrap it Up!" He didn't let the snakeman get a word in as he closed the shutters, nearly nicking his tail as he closed and locked up the entire store.

"Finally..." The dragon sighed as he turned off the lights and moved into the back of the store, but not before he grabbed the small stack of coupons with the names and addresses of the last six customers he saw. He took the punch card from the wall and put it into the clock, and then put the slip of paper next to the naked, brown-furred fox that lay sprawled out on the floor. Renzyl saw the complete blackness in his eyes and sighed, the innocent store clerk had been more then friendly to him before he seduced him so he could take his place. Even though he would wake up with little more than mild euphoria, a sore tailhole, and no recollection, the lustful corruption from their coupling would change his life forever. The least he could have done was punch out for the poor guy...

The ride home from the mall to his place was a madhouse, and it was almost half-an-hour until midnight before he unlocked his place and flopped down on the couch. "I hate this..." he muttered into the pillow as he kicked off his shoes onto the floor.

"It was very nice of you to punch out for that fox." A deep voice said that caused a shiver to run down his spine. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the previously overlooked silver raptor that sat in his easy chair, a sly grin on his face as he clicked his claws together. "It was a rather touching sentiment, I was so moved. And you remembered the mailing list, right?"

"Chrono, I should have guessed he would have had you keep watch on me." Renzyl replied as he groaned and got up. He looked at the raptor in slight disgust; it was his personal lackey, his pet. He took the slips of paper out of his pocket and tossed them at him, then turned away to start up his computer. "All his victims wrapped up in a little bow, just like I said I would. Now if you don't mind, I still have half an hour before the day is over, and I was promised a little personal freedom. You don't have to go anywhere, but I don't want you hovering around while I try to relax."

The black dragon was suddenly surprised as he felt the smaller scaly's arm wrap around him with surprising strength, the other hand grabbed his horn and wrenched his head to bring their snouts in for a forced kiss. He tried to fight back, but the raptor was like a vice grip and kept him firmly in place. A slight growl escaped his throat as he realized he had been betrayed. "There's been a slight change in plans." The raptor hissed in his ear as he broke the kiss. "He has to be out for his gifts to take effect, and he wants me to have everything ready before midnight."

Renzyl tried to protest, to swear at him, but as he opened his mouth Chrono stuck his tongue as far into his mouth as he could. He tried to shake his head, to break the passionate appendage that roamed through his mouth, but as he felt his groin stir to life he felt his resistance quickly start to slip. As his eyes started to close he could feel the tide of lust rise, small tendrils of black began to edge their way towards his iris as he let out a small groan.

The raptor sensed his weakness and immediately took advantage, using the gift of his master's strength to maneuver the dragon to the couch and lay him down on his back. The impressive dragonhood had already slid its way almost completely out of his sheath, pressed against his silvery scales as he straddled his hips and grabbed his tail. He broke the kiss momentarily, only enough to lower his always well-lubed ass down on the thick rod of black flesh. Both scalies moaned loudly as he let gravity slide him down, every ridge and bump could be felt against his walls as he hilted himself.

"You're always so easy..." Chrono giggled as he gave himself a second to adjust, he could feel the dragon expand even more as the black scales began to grow glossy beneath him as he leaned back. Gently he took the panting dragon's mouth and guided it to his own silver member, not nearly as long or thick as his master's, who without prompt stuck out his tongue and drew it into his maw and began to suckle on it. "Oh Renzyl..." Chrono moaned as the hips below him began to thrust upward, which shoved more of him into his now hungry mouth as black saliva began to leak onto him. "I... always... love... this... part..."
