Chapter 8 Heated Hunt

The king was in a crouch. Hidden from sight by the reeds that tickled his hide, he slowly approached his prey. Lifting his paws carefully, he inches his way quietly forward. Standing in front of him was a pair of oblivious gazelles. The afternoon sun blazed overhead. Not a wisper of wind had been had for a few days. The previous rain had been more than a full moon cycle ago. And yet, on the horizon, dark thunder heads could be seen, their size making it difficult to guage when the inhabitants of the pride lands could expect the full force of the storm. Simba had concluded that it was for that reason this pair of herbavores had broken off from the main herd to graze. Away from the safety of the herd, one or both were about to be the main course for the evening meal of the pride.

The king watched his prey as he approached. His daughter was somewhere near by getting into position. The plan was for him to take one of them down himself. However this was probably not gonna happen. If he didn't time it right, the two would bolt before he could reach one of them. If he failed, the plan was for him to drive them to the left of a group of boulders where Kiara was ready to grab one as they passed.

Normally, the king did not hunt while on patrol. However, if he came across an opportunity for easy game, he would leap into action. And so it was with these two... It had been three days since his daughter's heat had begun, and the king had been preoccupied with satisfying both of their carnal desires for each other. They had been in the middle of a session when he spotted the two foolish gazelles in the distance. Kiara had been on her back with him over her. He had his member buried in her mound while her rear paws had been behind his ears. His orbs were slapping her tail hole gently as they enjoyed the different angle. This unusual position had been the result of her horny desire to change things up a bit. After 3 days of almost the same routine, her muscles were too sore to raise her mound up for her father. So he had decided to show her a position her mother particularly enjoyed as the pressure of the different angle ment his barbs were able to flare a little wider every time he withdrew. This position was also very affective to encourage ovulation in lionesses that had a hard time with it the normal way.

Kiara had not had that problem as she had ovulated the first time she had been seeded, but older lionesses sometimes found it difficult to release eggs to be fertilized. The extra stimulation from the barbs usually was enough to pry stubborn ovum from the depth of their wombs where they would be drowned in the King's waiting swimmers almost immediately after. The king had been getting close to release. Eyes shut, he enjoyed the buildup to the heavy morning load that had his daughter's name all over it. "Ah, Kiara!" He grunted. Still pistoning his way in and out of her mound. She herself cried out. The stimulation from the barbs was more than she could handle. It took all her self control to keep her claws tucked in as her paws curled behind her father's ears. She was riding her own waves of release as her passage clamped down on her father. The rhythmic twitches milking his shaft for its contense. He could not hold back anymore. He came in the midts of her contractions. Feeling every pulse of seed being sucked in deeper as her walls pulled on his member.

After a few moments in this locked embrace, they disengaged from each other. Her father pulling out with most of his seed staying in her as gravity forced the copious amount of fluid to rest at her cervix. He had stretched and observed his surroundings as his daughter purred. Still on her back, she made no effort to get up. She was busy enjoying the feeling of his morning load soaking into her body. It was only when her father had called her name that she even opened her eyes. He was looking over her, his posture now tense but excited. Getting to her feet, she felt his emissions shift as well, some of it dripping out of her and on to the ground. Following his gaze, she saw the two gazelles walking from one patch of grass to another.

It had been at that point that they hatched a plan of action to take down a meal. Now it was time to put it in play. Simba stalked closer to his prey. He would get as close as he could. As soon as his presence was detected, he'd go for it.... he was close. The whites of their eyes were clearly visible as they kept their heads lowered to the patches of clover at their hooves. Taking a few steps forward, he crouched again to study them. It was a couple. One female and one male. Discernable by the presence of two magnificent horns on him, and a small udder on her. At that point, the king began to suspect the upcoming storm may not have been the reason for their departure from the heard. In fact, he began to suspect that this pair may have desired alone time for the same reason him and his daughter did. His suspicion grew into certainty the longer he observed them.

Their movements around each other was intimate. A nuzzle and nibble here and there. The more he watched, the more he felt like a peeping tom. When the doe squatted to relieve herself, the male stuck his nose into the stream. Much like the king, he then raised his head with his lips pulled back to analyze the scent. The look on his face was one any male of any species could recognize. The doe, seemingly amused by his reaction, gave a soft nicker before straightening back up and presenting her own mound to him. Her delicate lips, almost invisible in the strip of black that ran down the middle. Before the king could do much more than consider leaving them to it, the male reared. Climbing on to her back, a thin long red member came shooting out of his sheath. With practiced ease, the male shoved it all in. Hilting himself, he gave a short grunt before pulling back out. Before the king could do more than gawk at the site, it was over. The male had already turned away and they resumed grazing. The only change was a trail of seed now dripping from her.

"That's it?" Simba thought to himself. Not that he had hoped for a long peep show. But he could not imagine any of his lionesses being satisfied in just a few seconds. What was the point of having a ridiculously long member if it was only put the use for a few seconds. His lionesses would be sneaking away to be bred by other males if that was him. Still, if they were both satisfied, who was he to judge. The only problem was now he had a slight moral dilemma. Normally a lion would not care if their prey was pregnant, young, or mates. Survival of the fittest was the only real law of the land. The king had gorged on the bellies of pregnant or nursing prey many times before. In fact, the young were easy to chase down and kill once their mothers were doomed. But as king of the pride lands, he had to consider the full health of the land. The gazelle population had been cut in half by some disease recently and this female would be valuable to rebuilding the numbers. While her presence may not be critically important, the fact that she would be a mother soon gave him pause.

But the male was not in that position. Simba found his paws angled towards him now. While the male may be slightly faster than the doe, the trap he had set with his daughter was perfect for this. Making up his mind, he continued to creep forward. The doe's head snapped up. Her ears swept forward and nose quivering. The game was up. In a flash the king broke cover with a snarl and rushed at them with all the speed he could muster. Their reaction almost as quick, they bolted. The king tracked to the left slightly as he herded them to the right torwards where his daughter waited. It worked. He was one body length behind them when they flew by the formation. As planned, Simba let loose a deafening roar. His signal to Kiara to strike. Like a graceful Panther she shot out from cover and latched on to the male. Her clawed paws getting a good grip on his hide as he stumbled with the full weight of a lioness. He was doomed the moment he hit the ground. As the female jumped over the thrashing bodies, the male only had time for a terrified bleet before Kiara's teeth found his windpipe. With her powerful jaws she squeezed down and collapsed the windpipe. Unable to breathe, the gazelle thrashed for a while before the lack of oxygen made him lose conscience and he was still. Kiara continued to hold tight until she felt the throbbing heart stop. The female was nowhere to be seen. She did not stay around. No matter how close pray felt with their counterparts, they never stayed around.

Panting, the king praised his daughter for her excellent take down. Kiara asked why he did not go after the doe and he explained his reasoning. She threw her head back and laughed when he described the scene that he had interrupted. Leaving her kill on the ground she embraced the king with a full bodied rub that she knew would only result in another mating, but she didn't care. Her heat would be ending in a few days, and with the storm approaching she might as well get as much alone time with the King as possible. Sure enough, in no time she found herself on her back, calling for her father to finish as deep as he could. They would have to start dragging the kill back towards Pride Rock soon. The thunderheads slowly approaching in the distance.
