Confession Of Confused Teens

Chapter 1.1: Just feeling right

*Ding! Ding!*

The bare empty hallways of James East High school came to life as the third period bell rang. Students stormed out of their class rooms to greet each other talk about later events. Few people walked away quickly from the others, trying to quickly get from one classroom to another. Other completely stopped in the middle of the hallway, causing the traffic to build up and make some people become aggressive. The minute bell sounded and soon everyone started to hurry to their classrooms.

As others ran around, scrambling to their classrooms, an otter and fox stood side by side. The fox made a tired and pained face at the otter as he spoke, "Yeah I've played it before. Can't say that I liked it though."

They started walking into the classroom and the fox made a jab at the otter's shoulder, "Keygon my friend, I understand you don't like sports, but who doesn't like football?!"

The otter grinned and shrugged walking away and taking his seat in the classroom. The tardy bell sounded and a chubby panther stood up in front of the classroom, "Good afternoon class, Please pull out your homework and pass it to the left."

Pulling out his homework, Keygon sighed and handed his papers over. He looked at his friend thinking about what he had said. There was quite a few reasons why he didn't like football. In fact, 17 reasons were in this room. Football players wore their navy blue and silver jersey's for tonight's football match. 3 football players sat to the right of Keygon and started shoving their homework towards him, paying little attention to him. The otter looked at the homework chuckling in his head at how many problems were done correctly or how many problems weren't even done. A folded piece of paper fell out of the stack of homework landing in his lap. He passed the homework further to his left and grabbed the folded note, spotting his name on a flap. He opened it up expecting crude remarks about him. No, he read the note over twice blinking in astonishment. "Mr. Walker! Pay attention!"

Keygon looked up feeling his face heat up with embarrassment, as many of the students started laughing at him. He folded his note up and placed it in his pocket paying attention to the teachers lecture.

Keygon Streamwalker gave on the false impression that he was as smart as the other students in the classroom. The fact was that Keygon actually had a thirst for knowledge compared to what he called his, "Neanderthal classmates." The short otter stood about 5'8, paled in comparison to the height of the other students. He knew everything about the lecture that was happening in front of him. Keygon was the newest student to the Jackson school district in the last 7 years. The otter remember when he first moved from living in the big city to what he called, "Hick central."

The facility had based almost all of its resources towards their sports programs, only letting their students out with a minimal education. The otter had complained to his parents when he was younger about how much he wasn't learning, making them start giving him home lessons. The time ticked by slowly to the otter, making it feel like years before the bell finally rang.

*Ding! Din!*

"Chapters 14 and 15, all even problems!

Everyone jumped from their seats, bolting out of their classrooms and into the once empty hallways again. Keygon walked through the crowds towards the other end of the building. Teachers might have given him hell for being smarter than most of the other students, but his next class was even harder on him than the all of his other classes put together. He stopped in front of the door to his next class. The smell of sweat, and musk was prevalent, even in the hallway. Gym, weightlifting to be exact, and the otter felt himself grimace at the thought. He walked into the locker room, getting hit with even more scents of males from his classes. Keygon walked up to his small locker, twisting his lock and opening it. Trash fell all over the floor in front of his locker and people around him busted out laughing at the aggravated otter.

'Fucking football players.'

Keygon dug the trash from out of his locker and looked his gym clothes. They were stained with garbage, liquids, and other scents that he didn't want to know about. He walked over and threw them away. The other people around him started going back to discussing with each other while Keygon started picking up the garbage and throwing it away. His locker now cleaned of the garbage, he took his lock and walked to the coaches office. A ageing wolf looked at Keygon and sighed knowing full well what happened outside. The otter handed him the lock and spoke softly, "You said I could get one with a key instead if they did it again."

The wolf nodded and tossed another lock to him, "Don't loose the key. Get dressed, I know you prepped yourself for this."

Keygon walked out giving a angry glare at anyone he looked at. This was why he didn't like football players. He didn't really like anyone around in the school, but the football players made it harder on him. He knew the reason why also. The otter pulled his over shirt off and placed it inside his locker. Around him people talked amongst each other, a few comments about him. The comments included hateful words that made his eyes squint in annoyance. Since 7th grade the otter dealt with hateful actions from his tormentors. A whistling sound and the otter ducked, dodging a empty bottle from hitting his head. He turned around looking at the other people who were smirking at him, almost asking him to start something. Keygon turned back around and slid his jeans off and threw them in the locker with his other item of clothing. His backpack, only pulling an I-pod out and locking his stuff up. The otter slid left, dodging another empty bottle from hitting him. He clenched his fists, sighing with frustration.

"Places, Faces, and Crap!"

Everyone sat down in their respected spots as the coach walked out and started taking attendance. A tiger sat down next to Keygon, grinning happily at him, "Hey dude. How's your Friday going?"

It amazed the otter how the tiger didn't notice him, almost seething with anger, but he smiled anyways because of his friends goofy smile, "Lamboia, it's terrible. I'm ready for this class to finish so I can go home."

Lamboia Steele looked down at his friend and gave him a quizzical look. The tiger was taller than Keygon by a few inches, 5'10, but they both held the same body structure, skinny. The tiger had been the otter's first friend since grade school, being shunned from other people. When they started hanging out they were almost inseparable. Keygon trusted Lamboia with his deepest secrets, which still got out because of his younger brothers friend. The otter was gay and while almost all of the school completely shun Keygon, Lamboia stayed faithful with him. The tiger didn't care what his friend was, even asking Keygon if Lamboia was cute to him. Middle school seemed like a distant memory to the both of them and high school became the next chore. Lamboia started dabbling in football, trying his hardest to get others to start hanging with him again. The otter didn't mind to much about it, even helping his friend by tossing the football and running drills with him.

"I'm sorry to hear that. What happened?"

Keygon tapped his locker and placed a headphone in one of his ears, "People put a bunch of trash in my locker and messed up my clothes."

Lamboia made a serious face at his friend and sighed, "The football team didn't plan it. I would have heard about from talk."

Keygon nodded at his friend and the coach walked by to the last set of lockers. Two people walked quietly into the locker room and the white wolf turned pointing a finger at them, "Late! Ten push up's each of you!"

They both cringed and turned placing their stuff beside them and getting into position. As they started Keygon stared at them blushing softly. Both of them wore a football jersey but to the otter, they were completely different people. One was having trouble with his push ups, grunting angrily and starting to sweat already, while the other one did them with ease as if to say that he could do more. The one who finished first was a German Shepherd, and was the secret crush Keygon had. The other finished with labored breathing, was a rather bulky bull. The bulls name was Jax, and the otter was tutoring him in math. Jax put up a fuss in the beginning when he found out who was tutoring him, but when his coach threatened him with the bench the bull accepted. That didn't help Keygon a bit with the torment, the bull only making it worse by telling all the other players when the otter was busy so they could trash his other locker.

The otter felt a nudge from his friend and he looked up, seeing people start standing and walking towards the weight room. Lamboia nodded towards the door, following closely behind the group, while Keygon stood up and walked slowly behind everyone else. Soon even Jax and the German Shepherd started jogging out from behind him towards the weight room, Jax making a comment about the otter and getting a slight chuckle from the German Shepherd. Keygon felt himself stop in the hallways as they started running around a corner towards the weight room. It hurt how much the person of dreams was just like every other slack jawed idiot in the school. The otter sometimes wondered to himself why he stared at the German Shepherd with lust.

The German Shepherd had a nice body, compared to the other members of the football team. Most of the other team members had some flaw with them, most of which was having fat over their muscles, but he looked like he didn't have an ounce on him. From what the otter heard from his friend, the German Shepherd seemed like a nice guy. Keygon tried to forget the guy and tried to push him as just another football player, but every time the otter tried his heart just started pounding harder. It wasn't like the otter tried to ignore the guy, but the damn shep was almost everywhere he was, classrooms, hallways, even gym now.

Footsteps came from behind Keygon and he turned to see his coach jogging up behind him, "Walker! Your walking slower than usual, something the matter?"

Of course the only that actually gave a decent amount of care to Keygon was his gym coach. He put on a fake smile and placed a hand on his stomach, "Sorry coach, my stomach just hurts a little."

The ageing wolf nodded at him and started walking slightly faster, "Alright, but I expect to see you up in the weight room ready to go. Got it?!"

"Yes sir!" The otter exclaimed as his coach jogged up to the weight room. He sighed mentally preparing himself for what was going to come. After a minute or two he started jogging up the stairs and reached the indoor track. Sounds of clanging, grunting and hissing were heard from the weight room which was right next to the track. The routine was usually the same as everyday, go in, work out with Lamboia, leave. Keygon walked in and noticed Lamboia standing next to their bench. He started walking towards his friend when he saw the German Shepherd sit down next on the bench and talk with the tiger. Lamboia looked over at the door and smiled waving his friend over. The otter's stomach really did hurt now and he quickly turned away towards his coach. Keygon walked up to the coach's desk and gave him a sickened look, "Sir... My stomach seems to be acting up. Can I go to the nurses office?"

The wolf looked up at him and waved his finger to make the otter come close before whispering hoarsely, "I know what your really trying to stay away from. I didn't know my son had such an admirer. Don't worry not everyone is as keen as I am on noticing things. Word of advice though, don't stare at him while he is doing push ups in front of everyone."

The otter's eyes widened at the older man, one from the fact that his coach knew what he felt, and another from the fact that the shep was his coach's son. He looked away and the aged wolf and felt his cheeks burn with embarrassment. The coach pointed at the track, "Why don't you jog for class today."

Keygon nodded and quickly walked out, onto the track breathing heavily. He felt his stomach churn and hated himself for making it so obvious. He breathed in deeply, turning his I-pod on and started jogging on the track. His pace began well enough for himself to keep himself going around the track twice without stopping, but after halfway on the third lap he slowed down catching his breath. The otter pulled his head phones out listening and hearing people behind him. He looked back to see the people from his class jogging on the track, trying to catch up to him. They slowed down near him giving him unpleasant smiles towards him. Two cheetahs walked behind a horse as he began talking, "Well look who it is. The little faggot couldn't stand to watch real men work out, so he had to go and run around the track instead."

Keygon ignored him and started jogging again only to be shoved to the ground by the horse, getting laughter of approval from his friends, "What I tell you guys. The little faggot can't stand not to be on his knees."

They jogged off back towards the weight room and Keygon stood up wincing at the pain in his knee. He walked back to the weight room, but the sounds of clanking was gone. His coach had been yelling, and when he walked to the doors he saw that the horse and cheetah's where the ones getting yelled at, "I don't care if you feel like you need to push him out of the way! He wasn't harming any of you in any way! No game for any of you tonight, and your lucky I don't send you to administration. The three people walked away grumbling and the coach looked at everyone else, "I didn't say for everyone to stop working out! Back to work!"

Again the clanging of weights was heard and Keygon's coach looked at him. He looked over the otter's body before calling out again, "Steele! Get over here!"

The tiger bounded away from his bench, walking up to the desk, "Yeah coach?"

"Take Mr. Walker to the nurses station. Hurry back!"

They both started walking away from the gym towards the nurses station. Lamboia looked at his friend and away from him constantly, "So... You going to the game tonight?"

Keygon stopped, frozen in astonishment at his friends question, "Am I going? Am I going?! Why would I go somewhere that I'm not wanted!?"

The tiger looked down and noticed his friends knee. Blood was slowly sliding down his smooth fur and Lamboia looked worriedly at the otter, "What did they do to you?"

The otter rolled his eyes and continued to walk towards the nurses station, "They shoved me. Don't change the subject!"

Lamboia jogged up next to Keygon and walked with him, "Well... I might need some help before the game man... Lily isn't gonna help and I might actually play today."

Lily Sanders was Lamboia's girlfriend and the love of his life. When Keygon and Lamboia were freshman the tiger begged his friend to help him hook up with the tigress. Of course the otter helped his friend get them hooked up and found later that they were almost a perfect match, with the exception that Lily didn't put out as much as the tiger wanted. Yet again he begged for help from his friend before games so he could let out some steam. The otter reluctantly agreed, as long as it stayed between the two of them only.

He pointed towards the gym and continued to walk, "Go back to class. Meet me at the south parking lot and we'll see if I'll help."

The tiger just looked at his friend as he walked away, then turned back and started walking back to the weight room. He turned the corner only to see a body obstruct his path. The horse and cheetahs from earlier stood in front of Lamboia glaring at him, "We need to talk."

Keygon sat in the nurses office and watched as the nurse cleaned up his cut. She stood up and started writing down information on a clipboard, "So who did it to you this time?"

The otter looked away and shrugged, "I don't know."

"You don't have to be scared. You can tell me, and it's my job to hold responsibility to those who did it." The nurse spoke to him gently. Keygon looked up and gave her a serious look, "I really don't know ma'am. If I knew then I would really tell you so they could get what was coming to them."

The nurse left it at that and sat down at her desk helping another student who had come in. A low tenor voice rung out and Keygon's head snapped up trying to look from the health bed he sat on, "I'm here to drop off Keygon Streamwalker's stuff from his locker."

Keygon's eyes widened and he looked on his body for his key. It was gone and he looked up to see his crush in front of him holding his items, "Hey there. Coach said for me to bring you your stuff, and also to remind you not to lose this."

The German Shepherd placed the otter's bag and clothes down on the ground and showed him his key, "Jace and the others had your key but coach got it from them."

Keygon tried swallowing the lump caught in his throat and reached out grabbing the key. He felt like he was burning up in front of the canine and said hoarsely, "T...Thank you.... Um... What's your name?"

The shepherd turned around and called back before leaving the nurses station, "My name is Spark. Spark Williams."

Spark left the room, leaving the shaken otter looking at the ground with embarrassment. The nurse chuckled at the poor boy, "I can see you've got a crush. What its like to be young again."

Keygon looked up and stood, wincing at the new found pain in his knee. He grabbed his stuff and walked to the door, "Thank you ma'am but I have to go to my next class."

Just as he left the bell rang signaling for the end of 5th period. The otter walked up and signed out of the attendance office before walking out to the south parking lot. He noticed Lamboia sitting on the hood of the otter's car staring at the ground. As he got closer he heard sniffling and Keygon's protection instinct kicked in. He ran over to his friend and stood in front of the tiger, "Lam, what are you doing here!?"

The tiger looked up and Keygon saw his friends face matted with tears. The feline gave a faint smile before looking back down, "Oh... Key, what are you doing over here? Is school over already?"

"Yeah for me, but that's because I don't have a 6th and 7th hour. What's wrong bud?"

The tiger looked up and noticed one of the cheetahs smirking at him distastefully. He stood up and looked at his friend, "Key... Please get me out of here..."

The otter looked at his friend with a worried look, "Lam, tell me what's wro-"

"Please! I... I'll tell you when we leave!" The tiger shouted and stood next to his door cowering. The otter looked back and noticed the cheetah. He walked to his side of the door and unlocked his car. They both got in and Keygon drove out of the school. He pulled his phone out and made the motion for Lamboia to keep quiet, as he dialed the schools number. After a few rings a nasally voice answer the phone, "James East attendance office."

"Yes this is Keygon Streamwalker, I just signed out to go home. My friend Lamboia Steele isn't feeling very well and threw up after gym today so I'm taking him home."

The otter listened to the attendance office secretary speak about them calling Lamboia's parents and telling them about what he did. He agreed to everything and thanked them before closing the phone. Keygon turned to his friend who had been staring down at the floor of his car and sighed, "So... Wanna tell me what's wrong?"

The tiger didn't even flinch, looking to the ground and speaking, "Ca... Can I tell you at my house?"

The otter looked back at the road, turning down onto a dirt road. Before long he was stopping in front of Lamboia's bright blue house. The tigers gaze didn't leave the floor, only a paw being placed on the door, "C... Can you come inside? I need to talk with you..."

Keygon looked at his friend and gave him a frustrated looked, "Fine, but you better tell me what's wrong with you."

They both got out and started walking inside the house. The feline's house was cozy but tight for his family. The tiger had 5 other siblings, making things tough for him. He had been lucky enough for the school to help him out with his football uniform. Lamboia walked down the first floor hallway and opened his bedroom door. The otter followed his friend in and felt himself get depressed about how small it was. A bed, desk and chair was it's only contents. Sure, posters were on his walls, but the room still felt bleak compared to other's he'd seen. The tiger sat on his bed, breathing deeply before looking at the otter finally, "Lily... She broke up with me..."

Keygon looked at his friend with astonished eyes and pulled the chair up, sitting in front of the feline, "What happened?"

"She's got gym like us... but she is with the girls... Well the guys who got kicked from the game today... They found her and fed her rumors that we were secretly fucking behind her back..." He clenched his fists on his legs, "And she believed them! She told me that she would rather date someone that looked terrible then date a cock sucker like me! I tried to explain that it was all a lie... but she wouldn't listen to me." Lamboia had tears fall from his face again. The otter got up and sat next to his friend putting an arm over his shoulder. The rumor wasn't entirely false to Keygon's standards but he didn't want to bring that up to the tiger. His eyes lit up with shock and he pulled his arm back, "Didn't she accept a promise ring from you sophomore year?"

The feline nodded and sighed unpleasantly, "What is that going to do? Put salt in an open wound."

"No, did she give it back to you?" The tiger looked at him and shook his head, making the otter grin, "Then that means that she doesn't really want to break up with you, or she could have forgotten. The point is, is that there is still time to salvage the relationship. Let me get a friend to talk to her ok?"

Lamboia nodded, still sulking next to the otter. Keygon unwrapped his arm from his friend and stood up, but his arm was tugged from the tiger. Lamboia looked at the otter with a mixture of emotions in his eyes. Keygon saw that fear and nervousness were the predominant feelings in the tiger, "Lam... There is something else wrong..?"

"Key... Can we lay down on my bed?" The feline asked nervously. Keygon looked at the tiger in a surprised way. Lamboia had never been to much a fan of affection, even after the otter had finished off helping him blow steam. Hearing this made the otter feel disappointed in his friend, "Lam... I know that Lily and you just had a fight and everything... But you don't need to seek affection fr-"

Lamboia looked up, growling and fighting tears, "Please! Keygon I really need you to do this for me... I... I promise that I won't ask for you to help me anymore... But please, I need you to do this one thing..."

Keygon looked at his friend, openly start sobbing in front of him. It pained the otter to see his friend in the condition he was in, and reluctantly he sat down, holding Lamboia's arm, "Fine... Just relax now ok?"

The tiger's body started shaking, however even more violently. He looked up at Keygon with tear filled eyes, "Ke...Keygon, don't go the game tonight... People on my team... they said that they would jump you and..."

"Lam... just relax like I said. I didn't say I was going to the game." The otter spoke softly and leaned back laying himself and his friend down on the bed. The otter completely ignored the warning and held his shaking friend. Lamboia wasn't really as weak spirited as he showed himself now, but Lily and him were meant to go places together.

"But... But I need you to go to the game with me..." The tiger spoke softly, in a hoarse whisper. Keygon sat up looking down at his friend, "Lam... what would you rather me do? Go to the game with you or stay home?"

Lamboia looked away, whispering to himself, "I want you to go to the game... But-"

"Then I'll go. Come on buddy, lighten up some. We need to get you ready for the game."

The tiger nodded and smiled a bit before standing and grabbing his football equipment. He placed it all in his bag and walked off, leaving the otter alone in his room. A minute later he came back and pounced his bed, cuddling with Keygon, "You know something... I've never felt more comfortable with someone other then you..."

"What do you mean?" The otter looked at him, trying to push the bigger tiger off of him. Lamboia only growled softly and pushed harder to stay on top of Keygon, "What I mean is, even when I laid in bed with Lily, I felt more comfortable to lay down with you... Does that make me gay?"

Keygon looked up at his friend and gave him a bemused face, "No Lam... I think that right now your just trying to-"

!SLAM!

"Lamboia, Where the hell are you!" A loud and powerful voice called from the living room. Both of the boys jumped and scrambled to get to their feet. A taller, more muscular version of Lamboia stood in front of the door glaring at the two of them angrily. He pointed at Keygon, "Two steaks are on the counter. Get cooking."

The otter stood up and Lamboia followed, stopped by the older man, "Where do you think you're going? Living room, Now!"

The smaller tiger followed the man to the living room and sat on the ground, while the older man sat in a stuffed chair, "You playing today boy?"

"I don't know dad... I'll play if they'll let me play." Lamboia spoke softly looking towards the ground. Felix Steele, the father of Lamboia and his 4 siblings, stood at 6'4 and was a hulking brute with his muscle mass. Felix wasn't a man to be trifled with, even more so when the man decided to start drinking. Lamboia's mother couldn't stand to see Felix while he was drunk so she took the younger kids out on the days they knew he would be.

Today was going to be one of those days. Every time there was a football game, Felix would be one of the first people to get drunk. He usually ended up getting kicked out of the game a little after the first quarter started, only for Lam to come and spend the night at the otter's house. Surprisingly the older tiger wasn't wasted yet, "Hey! Otter bitch, bring me a beer!"

Keygon flinched at the comment and opened the fridge, pulling one of the Budweiser's out and walking to the living room and hanging it to Felix. He turned around and headed back into the kitchen, listening to the top of the can make a loud snap. The otter hated the routine, but couldn't complain to much unless he didn't want to see his friend anymore. The older tiger caught them when Lamboia asked for help before an earlier game. Felix used it to keep the otter around the house when his wife wouldn't stay. Lam's father looked down at the poor tiger and sneered, "I thought you told me that this cock sucker stopped coming after you."

Keygon's eye's widened and he gritted his teeth while he continued to sizzle the steaks in the skillet, "I told you he didn't come after me... I asked him to come."

"Right, and that's what your problem is! You wonder why no girl comes around and asks you to fuck them!? Its because your to worried about that little faggot in there! Wouldn't you rather have your girlfriends company over here then his!?" Felix shouted at his son, making the otter cringe, "And another thing! When are you going to bulk up like me?! You've been in that weight class for 3 months now, you should be as big as I was in high school by now. What are they making you do cardio all the time or something? No... That's not the problem, it's cus you don't take working out seriously, do you?"

Lamboia eyes didn't shift from the ground, "No dad... I take weights very seriously."

The smaller tigers voice came out quietly and his body shook with fear under the gaze of his father. Felix just kept giving his leer towards Lamboia, sipping his beer, "Sure you are... Hey bitch! How's those stakes comin'?!"

Keygon bit his lip and clenched his fists at the name. He looked down and seeing that the steaks looked ok to serve to the tiger. He pulled two plates out, making sure to make a it sound like it was done so he didn't have to answer the man. It worked, soon two sets of footpaws started moving into kitchen and sat at the table. The otter placed the stakes on the plates and served the two tigers before sitting and looking down at his paws. Lamboia rub his footpaw on Keygon's leg trying to comfort him a little. The otter looked to his friend with a shaky smile, but looked back down and started fumbling with his paws, "I'm not going to the game. I know that you're not playing today because you're not good enough. So if you want to go you'll need a ride from someone else."

Lamboia looked at his father and nodded before pushing away from the table, "I'm done. I'm going to head to the game... If Keygon is willing to take me."

Keygon stood up also and moved away from Felix, "Yeah... It's not a problem bud."

They looked over at the older tiger, who stopped eating just to glare at the two of them again. He looked back down, giving them a dismissive glance, "You better be home tonight Lamboia. Since I'm not going you're going to have to tell me about your game."

They both turned and started walking towards the door, Lamboia grabbing his stuff from the closet next to the front door and exiting the door, ignoring the command.

Keygon felt a lot more relaxed when they got on the road, breathing deeply and smiling. He looked at his friend and slapped him on the arm, "Why are you trying to put me under the bus like that?! You need to ask before I decide anything, you know that."

Lamboia yowled at his friend and rubbed his arm looking down at the floor of the car, "I'm sorry... I was just hoping that you would take me since he wouldn't... Coach said he would let me play today."

"Well then... Won't your dad hate you when he doesn't see you make the big touchdown." The otter giggled and sped up towards his house, "If you don't mind... I need to eat also."

The tiger just nodded towards his friend and they drove off towards the otters house.
