Lioness 3

, , , , ,

Part three! Mostly talking about hyena culture. No actual sex!

Ray had dumped her clothes out on the bed and was reorganizing them. The dorm room had just a few drawers built into the wall on her side, plenty for her modest needs.

It was a _big_ room, still laid out in that institutional style that she liked to ironically think of as 'prison cell with less concrete and more reading.' But it wasn't cramped, tall ceilings and everything just seemed scaled up a few notches. The office chair looked big enough for her butt. Maybe Ray was on the borderline of ranking a king size suite, but it was most likely one of the benefits of a large roomate.

Who was in the shower. After the threatened unashamed stripping once the door closed. Ray had immediately started a haphazard unpacking process (which was why several socks would have to be retrieved from behind the bed) when that started. The lycra was wadded up in an oversized hamper now along with some more ordinary looking casual clothes, black jeans, a red concert tee with a hyena skull logo on it. Not, thank goodness, a stripper outfit from an evening job, which was an absurd thought when she was laundry snooping.

('Lioness accidentally pulls out main support during dance routine, strip club collapses' was a fleeting absurd thought.)

Ray was NOT poking through laundry, that would be creepy, she just happened to notice while glancing past the laundry hamper (which was giving the room a sweaty gym odor, not objectionable but definitely there, and a whole lot more lion scent than she had ever been exposed to) at the bookshelf. THAT was a window into the soul, what books a person kept on a shelf, and there was no shame in looking, they were put out there for people to see weren't they?

But...'English clothing, 1799-1850', 'Three phase power', 'Modern english literature' (meaningless, that was a requirement, no statement made except perhaps that it was a general class'), 'Dyes and skin paints,' ...she was drawing a blank. Something art-sy?

The stickers on her roommate's laptop were mechanical in theme. Logos-Makita, DeWalt, a few depicting tools and bolts, and a band logo incorporating a suggestive version of a wrench.

Something art related, she decided. When it looks insane, it's probably art. Or actual insanity, or both. The overlap in that venn diagram was considerable.

There was a metal squeal of the tap being turned off from the bathroom. A few moments of sock-sorting later the lioness emerged, dripping wet towel around her, massive paws leaving big wet prints on the floor.

My socks are going to get so wet when I have to pee, Ray thought to herself, I hate wet socks!

She flicked her ears back up and smiled, but the lioness noticed and opened her mouth a little. "Oh shit. Sorry," she said, taking the towel off and grabbing another one. Ray jerked her attention back to the socks. "It's okay!" Ray said brightly. "Maybe I'll get a little rug for the bathroom!"

The lioness laughed. "Yeah, cool. I'm not THAT much of a slob, I promise, these towels are just too damn small to dry off with. So, you ah." There was a pause. "You sort your socks."

Ray picked them all up and dumped them in the left side of the drawer. "No! Just...making order. It's a new place."

"Yeah I get it. Hey, I'm being a bit of a dick about boundries, I'm not actually that bad about them. Just messing with you a little bit, curious how you'd react. I can behave pretty well. S' your room too, you seem pretty cool." She leaned forwards a bit. "Honestly I'm a little confused, I assumed you'd be a bit more flustered."

Ray gave up on the busywork with her hands, more comfortable with conversation, and sat down in the chair. "It's cool. Meeting people that surprise me is one of the best reasons to leave home. It's very nice to meet you, Zainabu. And I'm really not offended at all. Just a -little- flustered."

The lioness smiled and nodded at the last. "Yeah, I have a nose." She flashed her teeth in a sly grin. "Soooo..." She leaned against the wall, crossing her arms under her large breasts, and cocking one leg to the side, The towel around her middle didn't remotely go that far, just providing shade for the thick, light skinned penis flopping against her thigh, There was the slightest nimbus of cream-colored fuzz around her balls.

She knows you're looking, Ray's inside voice noted.

Of COURSE she knows, she didn't accidentally sit like that, and look at that smirk!

The lioness continued. "So you aren't a tiny member of the wolfy tribe, but I'm pretty sure I see why student services put us in a room together, and it ain't because you're eight feel tall. You play for Team F too?" Ray laughed and she kept going. "The only one in your sex ed class? The reason some teachers stop calling students up to do problems on the board early in the semester?"

Ray nodded, laughing. "Yeah. Don't be silly, I know you didn't have to ask."

She grinned back. "Nope. F-dar. Also I'm not blind." She clicked her tongue. "So are you a top or a bottom?"

"What kind of...what? I am not telling you that!"

The lioness nodded, grinning. "But it's less creepy when I ask, right? Being what I am?"

Ray exhaled and nodded thoughtfully. "Yeah, it is."

"Cool. This is gonna be awesome. Glad we get to room together. And Ray, you keep pulling the 'I'm cool with everything, nothing offends me' shit, I am totally taking advantage of it. So, yeah, keep doing it."

Ray smirked and crossed her arms right back. "Well, maybe I'll outrage YOU. If I do, please let me know."

She got a grin and a nod in response. "Maybe. You heavy reading types are in to some freaky shit. So hey. You want some food? Let's go down and get some. Maybe we can outrage someone along the way." She stood up and pulled the towel off, using it to rub under her tits and underarms. "And, wolfiekins, if you are going to be totally comfortable around my rockin' body but act all prudish yourself, I -am- keeping track and I -will- call you on it, hear?" She gave a open, friendly grin.

Ray opened her mouth for a moment, nodded and smiled back, not shying away. "That is totally fair."
