It had been a year since Michael had visited Nieragon, and Nier was still happy to be with his Sophie. He had new friends, all who loved reptiles and the community knew him. "I've been watching. You are the only one who actually did something good with your abilities. You have created a sanctuary for reptiles and have given Sophie a wonderful home with you as a brilliant mate. I've chosen you because you actually mean something to me too. I saw your love for reptiles and being one, I want to help and be with you as a friend."
Nier looked at Sophie, who was enjoying the rubs from the Dragon and then at his feet before looking at a hopeful Dragon, "Ok. You can stay with me."
"Wonderful. Thanks Nier" Michael said as he leapt across the room and hugged a surprised Nier. After separating Michael and himself, Nier showed the room to Michael, who curled up next to the heater. Nier looked at Michael, "Need anything?"
"A few blankets would be nice to have. This floor is not comfortable."
Nier went to the closet and got out some spare blankets, giving them to Michael before retiring to his own bed. Sophie got in with him and rolled on her belly, looking at Nier.
