You might be strong. You might be the best. But even the bravest warrior falls in front of an horror from another world...

Day 10 of Hypnovember goes to... Nekrozs!

Day 10 - Monsters

"More than you can chew"

By Patrick D. Lambert

Commissioned by Nekrozs

The wooden mug jumped and fell after the newcomer dropped a leather bag on the table, spilling the remaining beer over the surface. It was hard to tell what expressed his discontent in the best way: the expression or the visible wounds all over his arms and chest. Nekrozs bet on the bloody eyes.

"I was starting to get worried," he said casually as if the Hunter was a mere messenger who couldn't arrive on time to his destination.

"Fuck you. Where's the rest of the money?" The Hunter said with a threatening deep voice.

The words he spat at him didn't bother the young Nu Mou. Almost reaching 6-foot-tall, an impressive height among his kind, he threw a glance at the Hunter, not looking intimidated by his bulky aspect or rude attitude. It wasn't the kind of smugness one would expect from a chubby creature with soft canine features and a long draconic tail with whitish fur on top of it. Too adorable to intimidate someone, too cocky to let himself be intimidated.

"Not so fast. I gotta check everything's in order," he mentioned, his hands moving to the leather bag to open it up.

The inspection of the small spheres stored in it went with an over-exaggerated thoroughness, more to piss the Hunter rather than verifying the souls were in good shape. They were souls, after all. They wouldn't break like a porcelain glass. And the Hunter knew it, but he was bound to a contract that didn't say he was allowed to beat the living shit of the client for acting like an asshole.

Luckily, there were other methods...

"Looks like you got everything," Nekrozs said after revising the 8 souls in the bag. "Very impressive. It is good to know I didn't waste my money on your services."

"Yeah, yeah, give me the rest, dickhead."

"Too bad there is not enough amount of money to teach you manners," he threw at the Hunter a heavy pouch with the promised gold coins, trying to match his behavior.

"Try using your hands next time instead of paying others to do your job. You'll see how useless manners are."

Unlike Nekrozs, the Hunter didn't bother to count the coins. Despite his attitude, he knew the Nu Mou was no idiot, and that stealing from a mercenary like him was pretty much a death sentence. So he put the pouch in his backpack and prepared to leave when the idiot opened his mouth again.

"Trust me, if we could use the skill Hunt, I wouldn't even waste my breath talking to you."

That cocky smile was the reply he expected. He could have let the offense pass if the Nu Mou had stayed quiet. But not now, not after that answer. Not after seeing the shine in his magenta and yellow eyes begging for it.

"If you're really that good, why don't you try these?"

Nekrozs wasn't paying attention until a pair of leather gauntlets fell over the table, right next to the bag. The impact startled him. He was about to reply when the cheeky smile of yellowish and crooked teeth forced him to stop. Humans were so... dirty, sometimes.

"Those are magical gloves."

"They're gauntlets, idiot. And I don't remember asking you."

"These gloves allow the wearer to use the skill Hunt one time per day," the Hunter continued, ignoring what Nekrozs said.

The No Mou was preparing a snarky reply when the explanation caught him. The leather emanated real magic. He couldn't tell if the Hunter was telling the truth. While enchanted items did exist, very few carried a particular skill; and he had never heard of one that mimicked the skill from another class. It was an oddity, exactly the type of artifact that could be worth a fortune.

However, for a Nu Mou, the price of being able to use the skill Hunt, even once per day, was incalculable.

"And why exactly would you give me these?" Nekrozs asked cautiously.

"Not giving, lending--for now," the Hunter sat in front of the Morpher. The look from his brown eyes told Nekrozs of the upcoming challenge. "A dungeon was recently discovered 10 miles away from here. It hasn't been fully mapped; it seems to have some very nasty monsters. Especially the one waiting at the end."

He already knew where the Hunter was going, yet he let the nasty human finish what he started.

"It seems to be unique, though. Nothing we have ever seen before. You wouldn't let pass the opportunity to be the only Morpher with a unique creature, would you? And I know you're no weakling. Only a skilled Morpher can use the souls inside that bag," he pointed at the leather bag.

Despite the look in his eyes, Nekrozs could tell his compliment was sincere.

"And let me guess. You'll give me the gauntlets if I catch him."

"You said it yourself. You wouldn't waste your breath talking to me if you could use the skill Hunt," he gave his lips a slow, creepy lick as he leaned forward. "You mean it, right?"

He and his big mouth. The Hunter did exactly what he was supposed to do and cornered the Morpher, giving him only one way out of him. Of course, he could just ignore his challenge and leave, knowing he had paid for his services and wasn't obliged to stay and do what he said.

Nekrozs, however, wouldn't give him the satisfaction...

A couple of hours later he arrived at the location. A small cave hidden in the middle of a forest, with small glyphs carved around the entrance as a way to keep the monsters inside. In recently-discovered dungeons, it was common to find adventures camping outside not wanting to lose any time to raid the place for any possible treasure they could find. But at his arrival, Nekrozs couldn't find a single soul around.

And he understood the moment he jumped off his horse. A devilish aura in the air bristled his white fur and the lush mane. His legs almost faltered under the weight of his chubby body. The long, floppy ears caught bits of a demonic chant coming from the underground. Memories of a summoning ritual trapped on the scorched earth left behind.

It was very rare to meet with creatures whose sole presence made the bravest hero tremble, not out of fear, but from how heavy and powerful they were. The warning given by the Hunter made sense as he, foolishly or heroically, moved forward, ignoring the shriek that was his gut telling him to walk away.

Among the many monsters' souls he carried with him, his ego was the one he couldn't control. It was the kind of disadvantage that came when you're extremely good at what you are and no one has humbled you in your life. The Nu Mou felt an obligation to keep showing everyone just how good he was. Rejecting the Hunter's challenge would be like losing his honor.

The cave was nothing special at first sight. It was mostly occupied by flans, bombs, goblins, and some dragons down below. However, not even the dragons represented a threat. And still, the presence became potentially stronger as he descended down the dungeon. Something sinister waited for him at the end, something that didn't belong to this world.

And that's what bothered the Morpher. Nekrozs knew that kind of monsters corrupted dungeons and caves in a very strange way, and that included the creatures living in it. But the monsters he had faced were nothing extraordinary. They were regular monsters in a regular dungeon that had a not-so-regular creature within it. A creature strong and sinister enough to scare away all the other adventurers that should have been already raiding the place.

Only his presence was a weight over his shoulders. The more he descended, the heavier the aura became. And the air became hotter, so much he started sweating. A weak scent in the air, sweat with salty touches on it, also caught his attention. By that point, Nekrozs met no monster on his way down and only fought the overstimulation coming from all directions.

The heat got him dizzy. Why he took his robe off was a mystery. The heat, perhaps, judging how sweaty his white and bluish for already was. It was getting hard to breathe too. And his vision got blurry. He slapped himself a couple of times to snap out of it, only for his hands to fail his target miserably and instead caress gently the skin of his belly--and down his cock, leaking furiously despite still being flaccid.

Nekrozs imagined an infernal creature waiting for him at the end, something big in the middle of a sea of lava, with big horns and massive claws. His eyes blazing like the doors to hell itself, and his muscular body visible across the fumes of dark smoke coming from the fiery fire surrounding his waist like a belt. And below it... a long... fat... musky... delicious cock begged for attention, already hard and throbbing, with pre pouring from the tip...

The image went as fast as it came, leaving Nekrozs perplexed over what he imagined. But the evil presence soon reminded him what he was facing, and the chubby Nu Mou pushed forward with his mind clear and his clothes on.

"What is this?"

The dark robe with blue outlines still covered his body, held closed by the purple cloth that acted as a belt. He touched and pulled it several times, convinced that he undressed moments ago. But the clothes were very real. Behind him he found nothing. Even the leather gauntlets were on his hands, emanating its unique enchantment. His confidence in believing he undressed moments ago faded quickly when he perceived even the touch of the delicate silk.

"I should leave now..."

He whispered. With a fearful look, he saw the path leading to the exit. The only path behind him. Nekrozs trembled at the thought of what was at the end of it and moved forward down the cave.

And he kept moving in what felt like a downward spiral, his finger touching the right wall of the cave being his only link with reality, as the descent fogged his judgment and consciousness. The heat came and went. The scent came and went. A sweet smell with salty touches he could taste. It put a smile on his face and made him whimper when it faded. And in his dizziness, he felt again the urge to take his clothes off, dragging them along the path to cover up the trail left by his paws and tail.

The light orb above his head couldn't fight the darkness. It became dimmer with each step taken, flashing whenever Nekrozs recovered a bit of energy, only to get weaker again when the evil aura crushed his spirit a little more, leaving the Morpher at moments in a deep and crippling darkness that crushed more and more and more an already weakened mind.

Until he saw it. The end of the tunnel. A blue light just right around the corner of that maddening spiral. His way out of that endless nightmare. Nekrozs let go of the wall and ran with what little energy he had left, and then...

... then he saw it.

An abomination defying all rules of nature. His sole existence ravaged the concept of reality and threatened to break Nekrozs' sanity. It stood in two paws, a figure that resembled a canine of some kind. Well above the 15-foot-tall, its elegant bearing and slim figure were only tainted by the rotten roots entangled around its body, piercing through the flesh and bones and chaining the creature to the ground. The roots started at its ankles, leaving a spiral pattern behind on their way up, ending at its neck and tangling around it. A yellowish pus and green blood suppurated from the open wounds, leaving a trail on the darkish skin. Its face had no expression, the empty eyes sockets emanating a black fog. With both hands crossed on top of its chest, the monstrosity was completely still.

Nekrozs knew he couldn't look at it for too long. His mind was tearing apart trying to understand how a creature of that nature could exist in this or any other reality. He prepared himself to fight, pulling out the spheres from his leather bag. But as he held them in the air, ready to cast their powers on the abomination, the Morpher witnessed the souls turn into dust and fade from reality, condemned to oblivion.

He did it with each soul sphere he had on him, and every single one vanished before he could even attain their powers. The unknown powers of the creature had stolen the only way Nekrozs had to attack and defend himself. And with no souls left, he was nothing more than a helpless Nu Mou...

When he looked up, the monster had opened his maw. And it opened more and more... until he heard the jawbones dislocate and break. A lump appeared in its throat, and the monster retched to get it out. The disgusting sound almost made Nekrozs vomit, but it did send him down to his knees. The monster continued its painful retching until a giant eye came out of his throat, carried by its viperine tongue. The eye darted in all directions until it landed on the weakened Nu Mou. And that's when the rest of the eyes opened up.

Dozens of them, scattered across its body. It all appeared in an instant and looked straight at Nekrozs. And that was all it took. The twisted sight crushed what was left of his will. Invisible strings tangled around his brain, moving the now-turned puppet forward in clumsy and sudden moves, exactly how a puppet in the hands of a novice would move.

He heard no voice. He followed no command. He just acted. And he didn't know it. With a weak smile of joy, he dragged his paws towards the creature, ignoring the roots that had come out of the ground. They held it from wrists and ankles and lifted him up in the air until he was facing the big eye trapped in his maw.

Small black tentacles came from the tip of his fingers and wrapped around his body like hungry parasites looking to feed from a host. But instead of feeding, they fondled and abused Nekrozs' body, tearing apart his clothes in the process, until they found their way in through mouth and ass once the Morph had been left completely naked.

Already slippery from a goo oozing from them, the tentacles had no trouble getting inside him. One... two... three squeezed their way into his asshole, while the thickest one invaded his mouth and throat. His body squirmed by sheer instinct, stimulated by an intense pleasure he had never felt before. But with his mouth occupied on the tentacle, no moan came out of it, only a weak whimper that didn't express how intense and unbearable the pleasure was.

Nekrozs, however, never noticed it. His mind was a mess. The monster had disappeared. He was in an endless void, staring at the giant eye before him while many, many tiny eyes looked at him from all directions. And he was frozen, a living statue enjoying the intense waves of pleasure running through his body over and over and over again...

He didn't try to fight it. He didn't know what he was supposed to fight, or why he went to the cave, or what he was doing before that... and before that... and before that... and before that...

The pleasure spread across his mind like a disease, staining and washing the color and shapes from his memories. Faces, names, secrets, stories, adventures; everything disappeared while the pleasure and lust became stronger with each passing second. His mind slowly turned into a white canvas, devoid of everything that he had ever cherished.

And he didn't mind...

He didn't fight...

He didn't complain...

Nekrozs continued descending, pulled by the pleasure the tentacles provoked. They fucked his ass and mouth at a slow but steady pace, while still pouring a darkish slime that stained not just his mind but his body too. Fed straight into his throat, the slime fused with flesh and bones, corrupting Nekrozs' very essence with the touch of a creature from a twisted, unnatural dimension.

And the pleasure continued. A seemingly endless orgasm that only got stronger. The poor Nu Mou squirmed violently in the monster's grasp, his body too weak to break the bindings that had him controlled. And more tentacles wrapped around him. They came in and out his ass, spreading the insides and breeding the chubby Nu Mou, while the thickest one stayed locked on his throat, leaving only a small window for him to breathe.

He was a mess of sweat and slime. The unbearable pleasure forced upon him ravaged his will and spirit. And it was a matter of seconds before he broke for him, after having fallen victim to a mind control no living being in the world could've ever resisted.

He just squirmed and came, squirmed and came, squirmed and came. And it went on and on for minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, an eternity. It all lost meaning. His mind broke and became a completely white puzzle, with the pieces scattered everywhere, hidden in plain sight in an endless white void. It was all meant to keep Nekrozs in a trance forever, still descending an endless downward spiral, leaving behind the path outside that nightmare...

Leaving behind his mind... his body... himself...

... and becoming nothing else but a puppet, like all the other eyes the creature had gathered inside his twisted and nightmarish body.
