This story came from a dream i had one night when i was asleep at home in bed.

*The forest dragon named Kran and his human friends know the ledgend of a golden furred dragon that is suppost to bring order and justice to the land and all the kingdoms, but and evil king does not want the golden dragon freed from his prison, as he wants total control of all the kingdoms in the realm, as he will stop at nothing to gain it. So he sends out his guards to capture the forest dragon and his friends*
GUARDS FIND THAT BAND OF THE DRAGON ORDER AND BRING THEM TO ME NOW!!! *the evil king said*
*A young man named D'nel walking down a wooded trail in the forest outside of a kingdom of a evil king. A skilled bowman, he just soundly beat the kings son in a archery tournament for this magnificant bow. It was extremely well craft and built unlike any he has ever seen. It is supposedly called the Dragon Bow. It has very odd writing on it. In the middle the handle has the shape of a dragon claw with as ruby in the middle tightly intwined the the claw. Noone has ever been able to get the jewel out. Theres allot of mystery and legend behind the origin of the bow. HE left the kingdom when he heard that they were hunting down the BAnd of the Dragon order. Nothing make him angier than anyone hurting a dragon. He was outraged and he swore he was going to find this Band of Dragons and lend him the services of his bow.*In the distance he heard a loud commotion like there was a big fight going on*
Hey mind if i go hunting for some fresh deer meat for you?
sure and take what you need my big friend. *the leader as thehuman reaches out to rub the forest dragon's small sheath that causes him to moan in pleasure then Kran nuzzles and licks the leader's neck and purrrrrrrrs softly then turns around to walk off to go hunting for the deer*
*As D'nel walks through the forest, he is feet are geting tired and he is definatly getting hungry. HE looks down on the ground and sees a number deer tracks in the area.* Hummm, deer meat. That would make a great meal and will tied me over several days and theres nothing like soft deerskin. He quietly walks through the forest then he near a noise in the distance. He moves quietly towards the noise*
*The herd in the clearing have no idea that two hunters are out to get some meat, as Kran soon sees the deer then sinces a mind close by as the forest dragon looks around and gets low to the ground to keep from being seen by the other unknown human, then puts a mind control spell on part of the herd to come over to the forest as they soon find Kran waiting there for them and follow him back to camp, as human watches the deer leave the herd*
*D'nel seesing some deer in the distance draws back his bow then stares in amazement as he watches several of the deer in the herd simply walk off together. He retracts his bow and the noise scares off the rest of the herd. *Darn, there goes dinner* Now what. Then he thinks to himself. Could it be something is controling those deer. Theres only one creature he knows thatmay be able to do that. His hopes are high as he follows the trail of deer tracks towards the camp site. He stops behind series of large bushes a short distance away from the camp site to check out who it there and see if its safe to enter the camp site*
*Kran looks at his friend and nods towards the bushes that they are not alone then the leader nods to some men and they run over to catch the one spying on them, as the grab his arms and pins them behind his back*
*D'nel struggles hard to free his arms holding firmly onto his bow but the men overpower him. He walks stubornly into the camp, then his struggles stop as he stares at the forest dragon. *I don't believe it* as he walks without struggle the rest of the way into the camp looking carefully at the rest at the camp.*
Are you a spy sent to watch us by the evil king? *asked the leader*
A spy? *He skoffs as he tries to free his arms* I am no spy that mad evil king. I would rather have my heart cut out before I would in the services of that king.*as he looks over at the forest dragon then back at the leader* I am looking for ones who call themselves the Band of the Dragon order. I am here to offer them the services of my bow. If you can tell me where I can find them. I will be on my way.
*Kran looks at the leader and his friend then gently takes him by the arm and walks off to talk with him alone*
Well what do you think can we trust him? *the leader asked*
He has a good heart my friend and i think a weeks trial to see if he is on the level.
*The leader nods at that* you are the best at advice my friend.
*D'nel stands there with his arms still held* Well, *As he looks at the leader impatiently* Well either you are or your not. I feel that you are. *looking at the dragon* But if you are not you have nothing to fear then.
I will keep and eye on him and if he does any thing wrong i will eat him my friend. *said Kran*
*The leader nods to Kran's idea then looks back over to D'nel still bound by his men*
Well, *As he looks at the leader* OK Who are you all? If you are not who I think you are then release me. I want to find them soon.
*They walk back over to D'nel and nods to let the human go* if you get out of line or betray us i will eat you human gor it! *said Kran as he licks his lips*
You are the one!!*As D'nel drops to one knee and bows his head. He extends his arms out straight with his bowoutstreched flat clenched in is hand.* To you, I pledge my life to you and offer you the services of my bow. I am quite skilled at the bow. *As he looks up at the dragon* I understand you clearly dragon, sir. I promise you will have no trouble from me.
*Kran gasps as he looks at the bow D'nel owns* i don't believe it that bow used to belong to me a very long time ago, and i first thought it was destroyed by some raiders.
*D'nel looks at the dragon rather surprised* Thats, Thats, impossible. You mean this use to be your bow? Its been in my family for several generations. It has been passed down from father to the elder son along with the story of the bow but I never imagined this was a dragons bow. *AS he bows his head again* This is your bow, sir. I hand it back to you with pride and honor.
No you use it for now D;nel and what would i need it for any way. *said Kran as the forest dragon pushes it back to the human*
Thank you, you are very kind. *laughs* That is true, you are a dragon.*As he stands up* I always thought the stories I was told were just that stories. I never thought it may be true. I was seaching you out to join in your fight against King Damar. *As he smiles broadly*
*Kran sends a thought to the leader to ask him to let the dragon show D'nel how to become one of them*
*The leader smiles and nods then points to the private tent so Kran and D'nel to have some fun tonight*
*D'nel watches as the leader points to a private tent* Hummm, you want me to go in there. Well, OK. *not really sure why, but he steps inside the tent, he puts his bow and arrows down and looks around the tent*
*Kran crawls inside the special tent then has D'nel to get naked for him so they can have some fun tonight* come on take all of your clothes off for me ok.
*D'nel looks at him quite surprised * Ahhh, you want me to take clothes OFF? *As he looks at the dragon carefully trying to figure out why he asked such a strange request., but he sees looking into the dragon's eyes that the dragon does not mean him harm. I fact it seemed like he was actaully happy to be with him* OK. *as D'nels eyes get a very excited look to them* His hands actaully start to tremble in excitement*
*The forest dragon smiles gently at the human as his cock slides out side of his cool body to be over a ft long, as Kran lays down on his right side facing D'nel then moves his head over to nuzzle and lick D'nel then purrrrrrrrrrs softly to him*
*D'nel looks down in amazement at the dragons huge cock and it gets him very excited as he starts to get hard. He takes a deep breath and sighes deeply as he Kran nuzzels him* Hummm, thats very nice. Ahhh, I do not know your name*As he moves down on his knees and layes down next to Kran and rubs his hand along his muzzel.* I have all drempt of this. OK, I will try. This is very exciting. I am D'nel, by the way.*as he takes a deep breathe slow and lets it out slowly.*Ahhhh, OK.Thats much better. I am much more relaxed. So what did you have in mind? *as he moves closer to the dragon*
*Kran rubs D'nel's chest gently with his clawed hand as the claws lightly scratch D'nel's skin but does not cut him any, then rolls over to lay down on top of D'nel and purrrrrrrrrs softly*
Hummmm. Ohhh my. Thats very nice*as he feels Kran lay on top of him* Ohh, I never knew dragon purred. I was never told that. *AS he rubs his hands along his back*
*D'nel feels how smooth Kran's back is to his hands that causes the forest dragon to purrrrrrrr more then the human feels something press against his body*
And your scales, I mean skin is so smooth. I always thought..... Ahh who cares*as he moves closer to the dragon. Carassing his back then he feels something against his body.*Chuckles* ahhhh whats that I feel down there?
*Kran smiles down at him then slowly pushes his member inside D'nel's body but does not start to thrust inside yet, to let D'nel get use to the thick feeling inside him*
Ahhhhhh.*AS he grits his teeth as he feels his huge member enter him. He tries to relax but it is big. He leans forward and hold him tight and takes a deep breath*

Every one in this camp has a bite mark on their right shoulder, and every one that joins us gets one to D'nel so you know ok.
I consider it an honor being marked by you and to be part of your group. I hope I can now earn your respect. *D'nel snuggels close to Karns smooth skin. He sighs from the pleasure of being close to him. His shoulder still a bit sore from the bite wound As he hears people in the camp stir. * Before you leave, I want to talk to you, OK?
Sure what would you like to know D'nel? *Kran rests with his new friend and purrrrrrrrrs softly to him then licks the bite wound on D'nel's shoulder*
Hummmm, thank you. That does make it feel allot better *As turns toward him*Well, its something you probably know, but the king has heard of your Band of the dragon Order and when I left the city the king had sent out hundreds of troops to find you and the others. How he found out about you worries me? I am sure your people are all trustworthy but your being worried about spies is well justified.
I see then the only reason he could know we are coming is that there is a traider in our camp, but who could it be? *Kran asked*
I don't know. We have to be careful. We don't want to tip anyone off that there may be a spy in the camp. It will raise suspision and start people suspecting each other. We are going to need everyone to band together if we want to past all the soliders. *As he looks away angerly* All except one.
Witch one is that D'nel? *asked Kran*
The leader of the troop. He had my parents killed just because he heard that they were tellers of the story about the golden furred dragon. He burnt them at the stake and made me watch. Then he burnt down my village and enslaved its people. HE thought he broke me. He let me live so I be an example to any who would even think of defying him or the kings rule.*as he burys his head in Kran's shoulder as he tries to hold back his tears*
*Kran holds D'nel to his cool body as he cries for his dead mom and dad and his enslaved people also then rubs the back of D'nel's head gently as well*
*He hearing Kran start crying causes him to break down and cry. As he does its like years of pain and heartake flow out of him. He hugs him close and takes a deep breath*I am ashamed. I shouldn't cry like this.*as he looks away*
Its alright D'nel and i think i have a plan on how to catch the traider in our camp to. *said Kran*
Excellent. *As he gives Kran a warm hug and gets up and looks at his naked body* But I think I better get dressed first before we do anything.*Laughs* AS he quickly gets dressed and puts the bow over his shoulder.*So whats your plan?
Call the leader over here to come inside the tent so we can talk about this ok. *said Kran*
Ok. *As he walks to the edge of the tent.*Ahhh, whats the leaders name?
Karl is his name. *said Kran*
Karl, OK. Thanks* as he the flap of the tent and steps out side and looks at the leader* Karl , Kran said he would like to see you in the tent . *As he stand back and holds the tent flap open*
*Karl nods and walks over to the tent and crawls inside to see what Kran could want with him* what is it Kran? *asked Karl*
We have a traider in our camp Karl and i have a plan on how to catch him. *said Kran*
A traider? *said Karl shocked*
Yea. I think is Kran's right.*As he looks at KArl* Somehow the King has found out about you and the others. When I left the city he had sent out hundreds to troops to find you and take you all back to the king so you will never free the golden furred dragon. Kran has an idea how to kind him out*As he looks at Kran*
I still can't believe it a spy in our camp. *said Karl*
I just met all you and I don't want cause trouble but I want to see dragon freed and this King removed from power. He has to have found about you some how.We just have to find out how.*as he walks about the tent thinking*
Your right D'nel so i have a plan as to catch the traider Karl, and all it needs is a bite mark on the right shoulder of our men my friend. *said Kran*
*Karl nods and grins*
OK, I am a little slow today. What is it exactly are you planning to do Kran? *As he scratches his head looking at Kran and Karl*
Every one in our camp has had a night with me to get the bite mark on their right shoulders, and the ones from the king would not know of that. *said Kran*
Shheesh*as he shakes his head*Of course, You just told me that.*As he rubs his shoulder* That is so simple and so clever. Hummm, how do plan to look at everyones shoulder?.*AS he thinks a minute* Is there a swmming hole nearby? Maybe if everyone takes a swim we can easily find the one without the bite. Just hope he doesn't see hes different.
Good idea D'nel and yes there is water hole near by to swim in, so lets have the men go there to take a bath, one at a time. *said Kran*
*Ahhh, very clever. OK. That sounds like a great plan.*As he puts his hand on Kran shoulder* I will have my bow ready in case the traitor try to run for it. *As he smiles* Trust me I will not hurt him. We need him for questioning
I will need a bath today any way to get cleaned up from last night's fun ok Karl and D'nel? *asked Kran*
OK, thast fine, just be careful out there, Kran. The forest are not safe anymore. The kings soliders headed out not too long after I left the city. We want to be extra alert *As he looks at Kran very concerned*
I know D'nel and Karl would you two mind joining me there to watch my back and each others?
Sure. I would be happy to watch your back along with Karls *As he adjusts the bow on ths back and shuffles the arrows around* I will follow you Kran.
Just don't shoot me in the ass ok D'nel. *Karl nods and gets ready to defend their big friend*
*Laughs loudy* I will try. *as he looks down at his ass*It is a pretty big target though. *he laughs, as he takes off running following Kran into the woods*
Don't think about shooting me there D'nel or i will make things hot for you ok. *Kran look back at him, then grins as the forest dragon walks over to the cool lake to get cleaned but stays alert for any signs of the guards*
Ahh, relax. I am just kidding around. I would never do that. I would much rather stick my arrows in the asses of Kings soliders instead *as he smerks at Karl as he stands near a big rock and puts his foot up looking carefully around him* This thick part of the forest should give us some cover from any approaching soliders
*Karl nods and playfully grabs D'nel's ass to pinch it some as he to stay alert for any trouble, as Kran cleans his body up then turns to walk out of the water dripping wet*
Arrggg!!*As his ass is still a little sore from his fun with Kran.*OK OK. I 'm watching I'm watching *as he watches Kran get out of the water. HE quietly walks behind the rock and heads along the edge of the pond but far enough back to be in the thick brush.*
Only playing D'nel so relax and get your bath ok, me and Kran will watch your back this time. *said Karl*
*Laughs* Sure. Thats sounds like a plan. A swim will feel good *as he takes off his bow and arrow and clothes and puts them in a pile. As he undressed, Karl and Kran can see his muscular well formed body. As he walkis into the water his back turns to them and they can see several old line scars on his back where he was beaten by the leader of the Kings guard. D'nel slides in quickly and swims around a little*
My god Kran look at that, it looks like they totured him? *said Karl*
*Kran nods as he to looks at the scars on D'nel's back then keeps watch for any danger*
*D'nel looks around and exits the pond, drys off the best he can and gets dressed. He walks over to Karl and Kran* Humm, that was nice. *As he looks at Karl* Your next, Karl.
*Karl nods and walks into the pond to get cleaned up as Kran and D'nel watch to trouble*
*As D'nel watches Karl get undressed, he gets an uneasy feeling.* Kran, I don't like this. Somethings not right. Its gotten quiet all of a sudden* As he pulls around his bow and puts an arrow in the quiver. He takes a step forward looking into the forest*
*Kran sinces a few minds in the forest but they are not human minds either but griffin minds walking through the forest*
*D'nel looks back at Kran* What is it? You look like you sense something. What is it? *As he draws back his bow looking around*
**We are in trouble because i since griffins coming and they can be dangerous to us dragons.** *Kran sent*
Griffins? What in the world are griffins? *As he steps back closer towards Kran and yells to Karl* Karl get over here quick! We got trouble!*as he looks around.* I am here to protect you Kran.
*The first griffin appeas looking for magic to eat and sees a powerful forest dragon with two humans, as the other griffins appear to number at four of them and they charge the three of them to get Kran's magic for their food*
Damn, there flying lions eagle things. There big.*As he lets his first arrow fly at the closer Griffin hitting him right through the neck, the second flys almost immediatly after hitting almost the same spot as the first griffin falls dead. D'nel draws up two more arrows and fires as they wizz through the air they hit the front of the seconds chest. The second drops to the ground as D,nle gets ready to draw up two more arrows*
I will take care of the last one D'nel! *said Kran as he charges the last griffin and tackles him to the ground, as they start to roar and fight each other*
*D'nel drops one of his bows as he draws back the bow string tight and watches the two fight looking for an opening to up an arrow into the griffin without hitting Karl*
*Kran finally gets the openning he is waiting for and strikes by grabing the griffin's throat and clamps hard on it in a crushing grip of his jaws, as the griffin fights and claws at Kran's back to make him let go of his throat, as the griffin's beak falls open to let his pointed tongue hang out side of his mouth, as the griffin struggles to breathe with his body slowing down from lack of air to his lungs, then Kran crushes the griffin's throat in his jaws as Karl and D'nel hear the pops coming from the griffin's open beak as he dies under Kran's wounded body*
Impressive*As he watches the griffin die.Then he remember he said there was 4. As draws back is bow and looks around hoping the last griffin ran*
*Karl sees the forth and pulls his dagger and jumps the last one then slits the griffin's throat as blood rushes out of the life threating wound as the griffin dies* this one was going to attack Kran so i jumped him before he could.
*D'nel breathes hard still looking around* Excellent job. You got him good. Hes dead. Pretty impressive, huh Kran? *As he looks around for Kran and sees he is wounded.*KRAN!!*As he runs to Kran* Karl, hes hurt!!
I still live D'nel just get me back to camp please? *said Kran as his voice shows D'nel and Karl that their big friend is hurt*
Karl, you take the legs and I'll get him under the arms and lets get him back to the camp. Hes hurt bad.*As he puts away his bow and carefully lifts Kran waitng for Karl to take Krans legs.*
*Karl nods and picks up the forest dragon's tail and legs so they can carry him back to camp to be healed of his back wounds*
*As they get him they lay Karl to his side so they can treat his wounds. D'nel looks at Kran and Karl not sure what to do* OK Kran, What do you need me to do?
Put bandages on my back and put herbs to help heal the wounds to keep infection out of me please? *said Kran*
*D'nel looks at Karl* Do you have any the herbs hes talking about Karl? Cause if not, I know where the herbs are hes taking about.And you can get the bandages ready.
*Karl nods and gets the clean bandages ready for the forest dragon's wounded back and wait for D'nel to get the herbs needed to help Kran to get better*
Karl, quick. Tell me where your fastest horse*as he looks around the camp*
We don't have many horses here D'nel and we do have the herbs here for you to use. *said Karl*
Ahhhh, excellent. I wasn't exactly crazy about going in to the woods with those griffin things out there anyways. *AS he shakes his head.* Ok get me the herbs and some water quickly. We want get his wounds covered quickly.
*Karl nods and calls in the medic to help D'nel with Kran to get the dragon bandaged up and to keep the infection down, so Kran won't get sick*
*D'nel takes the herbs and mixes them with water to make a paste as he looks at the medic.* I am not expierenced with dragons like you maybe but this combination worked real well with farm animals I tended to. Do you want me to use it or do you have something better?
*Kran sends the right herbs to D'nel and the medic's minds that will heal his back faster then normal*
Your guess is as good as mind, wait a minute i am getting thoughts from Kran about the right herbs to use.
I got it. Wow, thats amazing. I never even imagined that was possible. He sent it to our minds.*as he shakes his head* OK. I 'll mix them up and well put them on the wounds and together we'll wrap him up.*As D'nel works favorishly mixing the herbs up like Kran said. He puts the medication on the wounds. He looks at the medic.* OK, I'll hold him up while you wrap up his wounds with the bandages.
*Hhhhmmmmmmm aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh oooooooooooohhh Kran moans in pain as D'nel and the medic help to put the herbs and to wrap the clean bandages around his back and chest, as the forest dragon digs his claws into the dirt*
Relax, Relax, my friend. I know this hurt but we have to do this. You know what will happen if we don't.*as he helps the medic lay Kran down.* There you go. Don't worry you will be well protected. You get some rest now. *as D'nel smiles warmly at Kran and looks at the medic. I guess the rest is up to him.
Yeah and i hope to god that he pulls through this D'nel and i will pray for him to heal up and come back to us. *said the medic*
*As D'nel watches Kran fall asleep, he decides to take this opportunity to retrieve his arrows. He goes to the first griffin and takes his two bows out his neck, wipes off the blood and then he walks to the second griffin and is about to take the bow out of his chest but as he reaches for the arrow. He swares he sees its chest move. He moves closer to the griffin to see if the griffin is actually breathing or is he just seeing things*
*The griffin takes a swipe at D'nel and hissses at him as the animal glares at the human for shooting him in the chest, but the arrow is right on top of his large blood vine and if the arrow is removed from him the griffln will die of massive internal bleeding inside his chest*
Damn, its alive *as he falls back to the ground and back peddles quickly to get away from the sharp claws. He stands up quickly brings about his bow and draws back an arrow. He looks at griffin and sees hes badly wounded and that maybe killing him right now maybe the wrong thing to do, maybe he can get some imformation from him about the approaching soliders* You are a tough one I see. You have a chance to live. I could end your life right now. Give me a reason I shouldn't. *As he draws his bow back futher aiming between his eyes*
*The griffin looks at him and thinks on what to do then tells the human that there is a bounty on all of them, and that every cut throat and guard is out to get them to bring them to the evil king so he can put the lot of them to death*
*D'nel leans forward moving the bow slightly closer to his head* My arm is getting tired. I may accidently just let go. I know the king has sent out soliders to find us, has he sent you Griffins too? Talk, quickly. My arms getting really tired.
*The griffin nods and tells D'nel that the evil king has another end for the dragon they are friends with, that he will personally put the forest dragon in with the golden furred dragon and trap them for all time*
Hes going to find that task will not be any easy one. *as he relaxes the tension on the string but keeps the arrow aimed at his head* And what part do you griffins play in all this?
*The griffin tells D'nel that they get the powerful magic in the forest dragon's body to suck him dry of magic to leave Kran close to death so he can't resist the evil king, when he puts the dragon in with the other to die there*
Grrrrrrr!!!As long as I am here that will never happen. *He is torn by what to do. He takes a deep breath and lowers his bow*What you told me is very helpful. That evil king will not succeed in stoping us from freeing the dragon. But as for you, if you give me your word, the word of a griffin. I will try help you get these arrows out but you have to sware you will not harm me or anyone else. You will leave and tell your other griffins to leave Kran alone and I will help you. Sware!
*The griffin knows the arrow wounds in his chest are fatal so he shakes his head no to D'nel that it will do no good to save his life, as the griffin rolls onto his right side on the ground*
*D'nel turns away understanding that the griffin is dieing, but then he just can't stand to see him suffer like this. And he turns around and walks back* I can't let any warrior suffer like this especially a noble forest creature. If you let me, I will help you end your suffering with a quick death. I know you have no reason to trust me only that I give the word of a warrior. Its your decision *As he stands beside the griffin*
*The griffin nods and looks at D'nel with hatred and fear in his eyes then gets ready for the fatal pull of the arrow in his chest that will kill him on his right side, as the griffin lays in front of the human waiting to die*
This is not right. The king will suffer for this. I sware to you griffin. *as he shakes his head and reaches for the arrow on the right side and in one quick pull he yanks the arrow out of the griffin. A quick squirt of blood follows as he watches as the griffins eyes roll back as he quickly dies. D'nel puts his hand on the Griffins chest and a few tears drop down his cheek.* Such a waste but unfortuatly you may not be the last one I have tokill if what you told me is true.*as he then reaches down and takes out the second arrow *
*The griffin dies as his beak falls open with the pointed tongue hanging out side of the griffin's mouth then his eyes are wide open but rolled beck in his head, and lays there in front of the human as blood pours down at his feet*
*D'nel looks at the griffin's as he wipes off the arrows and shakes his head. HE notices his feet and covered in the giffins blood, he shuffles his feet to try to get it off but decides ot more important to get back to the camp and tell them what he learned. He quickly runs up to Karl.* Karl, we need to talk, we got big trouble.
what is it D'nel? *asked Karl*
*As he steps to the side with Karl*One of the griffins was not dead and before he died he told me some disturbing news. HE told me that the king has put a bounty on our heads.*as he looks at Karl very concerned* Not only do we have to worry about solidiers and more griffins but now we got bounty hunters and that lot looking for us too. The king is getting desperate. We are going to have to be extra careful from here on.
I agree D'nel and we need to find that spy so he or she can't give any more info out on us, so lets do what Kran said to them that way, then turn the spy over to him for food after he has had his fun with him alright or do a body check with each one. *said Karl*
*AS he moves closer to Karl and lowers his voice and looks around* Yea, I agree we need to find that spy now. I am sure Kran will wake up very hungry.*chuckles* OK these are your men so you tell them they need to take bath now and I will keep watch for soliders and for the one without the mark. How does that sound Karl.?
Sure D'nel i will send them one at a time so as not to start a mix up alright. *said Karl*
OK, That makes sense. You know whats best. *as he watches Karl step away and talk to the others.*
*They start to walk over to the lake one at a time to wash up as the first one walks to the lake to undress and D'nel sees the first one is marked by the bite on his right shoulder*
*D'nel looks at Karl as he observes the first one down to the pond has a mark. He shakes his head to say that this one is marked. As he walks about keeping a watch as the first one finishes his bath and he waits for the second to take a bath*
*The second one walks to the to undress and shows the mark on his right shoulder as well, and it continues like that until the tenth one undresses to show no mark any were on his body or even his right shoulder as he gets in the water to wash his body*
*D'nel quickly notices that this one is without the mark on either shoulder. As he watches as he gets in the water. He quietly walks behind him as if he is on watch, then he brings about his bow, draws up and arrow and aims it at his head.*Do not move. Do not even breath traitor or you will die where you stand. *as he looks for Karl.* Karl, we have him. Its this one here.
*Karl walks over to him and gives the traider a solid punch to the stomach to knock the wind from his lungs, then picks Jack up and throws him over his shoulder to take him to Kran to get what he has coming to him*
Ohhhh, good shot Karl*as he puts his bow away and follows Karl to Kran's tent* Kran wake up, we found the traitor.
Good now bring him in here so i can deal with him. *said Kran*
*D'nel grabs him firmly by the back of the neck and shoves him in front of Kran* Ohh, I would strongly advise to carefully choose your next words.
Let go of me you assholes or i will kill the beast you are friends with i mean it! *Jack screamed*
*D'nel reaches into his belt and pulls out his dagger then grabs Jack's hair and pulls his head back hard and brings the dagger to Jacks neck* You are in absoultly no position to tell us what to do. You tell me exactly what you mean, you will kill Kran. You have done something to him. Tell me NOW! *AS he brings the dagger firmer against his throat*
Alright alright i put a poison in his food and it is slow acting so he will be dead in the next few days and there is nothing you or this band can do to stop the poison in his body from killing him! *said Jack*
Give him to me D'nel, no wonder my body is feeling weak from what he has done to me, and that fight with the griffin hasweakened me more then i should be. *said Kran*
"D'nel sheathes the dagger and grabs Jack's hair firmly and shoves him in front of Kran* OK, Kran . Hes all yours. Happy eating.
NOOOOOOO you can't do this to me, let me go you beast now! *Jack screams and struggles to get loose as the forest dragon grabs him by his neck in Kran's jaws, as they close tightly if weakly to block air to the human's lungs then Jack grabs the jaws to try and pull them off his throat so he can breathe but finds the forest dragon is not weak enough to be overpowered then grabs Kran's neck to try and strangle him, as the human fights to cut off Kran's air as his air is cut off by the forest dragon's jaws locked on his throat, then spots appear before both their eyes as Jack puts a death grip on Kran's throat*
**He is trying to strangle me D'nel and Karl, make him let go of my throat or we both will die together?** *Krahnis sends choked messages to D'nel and Karl's minds*
*D'nel quickly reaches down and grabs his thumb from Krans neck breaing his grip then twist his hand back hard and and bringing his arm back and twist it behind Jacks back.* Don't kill him yet, Kran. We need to know if there is a cure for the poison. HE may know the cure.
*Kran collects the info from Jack's mind and finds that the cure is back at the evil king's castle, but Kran knows of a way to cure himself* **there is a cure but there is a small problem in getting it.** *said Kran*
*As D'nel let go his grip of Jack but watches him carefully.* Doesn't matter. If there is a cure. I will get it for you. Whats the small problem Kran?
**He has it too well guarded and is hidden in his room and it is to far for us to reach it in time, as i only have a few days left to live but not all hope is lost i know of away yo get the poison out of my body D'nel, you need to trust me in this alright.** *sent Kran as he finishes killing the bastard for putting poison in his food*
I understand. *D'nel shakes his head. Then he turns his head his watching Kran kill Jack * He got what he deserved a cowards death. OK, Kran what do you need me do?
*Kran lets the crushed throat go* i will need my body hung up side down and make sure all limbs are pointed up with rope, then one of you will need to slit my throat so the poisoned blood will run out of my hung body. *said Kran*
*D'nel looks at him in shock* But that will kill you. I can't kill you. *As he looks down ashamed with himself*
Feel my chest D'nel and you will find something odd about my body that you and Karl don't have inside your chests. *said Kran*
*D'nel moves closer to Kran and puts his hand on his chest and feels about until he finds something odd on his chest* THis here? What is it, Kran?

glowing blue eyes as tears roll down the sides of his muzzle*
I apologize for my weakness. I will not let you die You have my word I will help you through this. *As he moves to Kran and gives him a big hug and holds him close* I will do this myself, unless you feel I will need help doing this. *As he gets up and moves about looking for rope.*
*Kran weakly gets up to walk out side and has Karl to get all the men together to help D'nel and him to get rid of the poison in his blood, as the leader nods and calls all the men over and some bring rope to careful tie up the forest dragon and to make sure the bonds are not to tight to make sure all the poisoned blood is cleaned out of Kran's body*
OK Men. Be sure that his limbs are pointed straight up. Kran told me that was very important. *As he watches the men carefully hang Kran upside. He walks around and makes sure the ropes are not too tight. HE kneels in front of Kran and whispers in his ear.* After I slit your throat what do I do next?
Have some of the men to dig a deep hole under my body so the poisoned blood runs down into it Karl, then wait until my smooth skin takes on a very pale color then move my body back into the tent ok. *said Kran*
*Karl nods and has the men to dig the deep hole for the poisoned blood to go in, after a while the hole is dug*
Then put a loop of rope in my top jaw to bring my head up so the blood there will drain out ok, now D'nel do it for me please. *said Kran after that was done*
*D'nel strokes his muzzel warmly as he ties Krans jaw up so the blood will drain out and looks at Karl.*Kran told me to do this and I promised him I would. Don't try to stop me.*as he quickly reaches into his belt and pulls out his dagger and in one quick motion he draws his sharp dagger across his throat and blood quickly sprays outward draining quickly into the pit. As D'nel quickly steps back*
*Hhhmmmmmmmmm Kran feels his neck was cut deeply by D'nel's dagger as the blood pours out of the neck wound, as the body shakes and twitches from the slit to the forest dragon's throat*
I know D'nel i know so relax and this is not the first time some one has tried to poison him and it may not be the last time either. *said Karl*
I didn't know that. I, I can't believe I did that.*As his hand noticeably trembles as he steps closer to Karl* I hope this answers any doubts you may have about my loyality to your league. *as he watches almost feeling sick as he watches Kran body shake* You have had to do this before? *AS he watches Krans body color get lighter*
*Karl nods and holds D'nel close as they watch the body's shaking slow down to hang as the blood drips from the neck wound, as the smooth skin gets paler and paler in color*
I know and yes it has happened before D'nel, one night while most of us slept a guard surprised him from behind and stabbed Kran in the back with a poisoned dagger that nearly killed him until some of us heard the struggle and came out to see what was wrong and i fired an arrow into the guard's chest killing him dead.
*He shakes his head as he hears the story* Kran is lucky to have such a dedicated group of friends*as he looks at Karl and smiles warmly as he notices Krans skin getting very light and the blood almost stop dripping* He's looking pretty pale. Should we take Kran down?
Give him a few minutes more D'nel to make sure all the blood is drained alright. *said Karl*
*D'nel shakes his head* OK, you know best Karl* as he looks around him and sees 4 others that have not been checked.* Karl, I notice 4 others of the league we have not checked yet. When we take Kran down, we will want to check them right away in case there may be more then one spy. We don't want the king to know his spy failed. OK?
*Karl nods and asks the last four to take off their shirts to show the last four are marked as well* see we are safe now D'nel. *said Karl*
Good. We can't be too careful.*As he takes a deep breath and shakes his head* I am just amazed how much faith Kran has in you all to let himself be put so close to death knowing you will all protect him with your lives. Hes a pretty amazing creature isn't he. *As he looks up at Kran and he looks almost pale white.* Ahhh, Karl.
He is ready to be taken now. *said Karl as the men take hold of the rope holding the forest dragon up and untie it from the tree as some more men move over to Kran to gently ease him to the ground to be untied and moved to the tent so Karl can show D'nel how to bring him back to life again by making a small cut in the very pale silver chest*
OK. What do we have to do now Karl *As he help to put Kran on his bed*
First we take a small knife to make a cut on his chest then step back to watch what happens next D'nel. *said Karl as he does just that to show D'nel the jewel inside Kran's chest*
Amazing it looks just like *As D'nel brings about his bow and shows Karl the jewel in the clawed dragon hand in the center of his bow* This. *As he stares at the jewel* I wonder if this jewel is really like that one. I wonder. *Then his attention is turned to Kran.*Whats going to happen next, Karl?
Get back quickly D'nel! *said Karl as he grabs D'nel by the arm and pulls him back to stand, as light and lightening come out of the heart jewel from Kran's chest, then the body is lifted off the bed to hang in mid air for a while as the blood is replaced with fresh clean blood and the neck wound healed, after a while the body is lowered to the bed to rest and recover from the poison*
Whhhhhoooo*As D'nel leaps back quickly with Karls help. He stares in amazment as Kran is fully healed in front of him* Thanks Karl. Appreciate that.*As he shakes his head* That was amazing. I have never seen anything like that before. Amazing. *As he looks at Kran resting comfortable but looks tired.* Looks like he needs some rest.
Yeah every time poison is put in his body it always wipes out his energy so we let him rest to sleep it off for a few days to recover. *said Karl*
A couple days. Huh. After what I just saw I can understand why. *as he walks over to Kran and puts his hand on his chest.*You rest now my friend. We will protect you well.* As he walks over to Karl.* I think we should keep a real close watch on him while hes asleep.Don't want anything to try to attack him while hes recovering.
*Karl nods and hugs D'nel close to his body then does what Kran would do with D'nel's neck and playfully nips it some then smiles at him*
Hummm,*As he enjoys the playful nips from Karl* but then again nothing says you and I can take the first watch right, Huh?*As he moves closer to Karl and hugs him close to him. He nips his neck back then kisses his neck warmly*
I will post a guard on both ends of Kran's tent to make sure no one tries to get in and we can stay inside with him to help guard the forest dragon more ok D'nel? *asked Karl*
OK.That sounds like a fine plan Karl. *as he steps back as he waits for KArl to come back after he post the guards*
*Karl walks out of the tent to have four of his men to guard both ends and to set up a 72 hour watch on the forest dragon to keep Kran safe, so he can recover in peace and quiet then Karl walks back inside to lay down with Kran and as D'nel to join them in the soft bed*
Guards all set up? *as he sits down beside Karl and Kran. AS he puts his hand on Kran* I never thought I could feel this way about anyone or anything ever again. Kran showed me in the short time I have known him, that there is caring out there. He saw into me and awoke a part of me that has given up hope. I can see a purpose to things that wasn't there before. I owe him alot.*As he rubs him gently so not to wake him.*
I know D'nel, he is very special in his own way, but in the beinginning i did not see his wisdom and beauty all i saw was a beast to be killed until he openned my eyes to the truth about what Kran is to us that he is noble and cares about justice and truth, i was from the evil king's castle as a guard and Kran convinced me to change sides to fight that evil bastard to be free again. *said Karl*
Yea, I know. He does have that effect. After I saw my parents burnt at the stake by the captain of the guards my heart went cold with anger, but when I heard the rumours about your band and that they were going to set the golden furred dragon free and rid us of that mad king, I knew there was hope. I finally know that all the stories my father told me were true and that their death is not for nothing. He may not be here to see the day the golden furred dragon freed, but I finally see that there is hope. And I will do this in their name.* AS he looks proudly out wards as if talking to his parents*
I was there in your village when it happened D'nel as i stood by but i refused to watch what he did to your family because i could not bare to watch the flames burn your mom and dad. *said Karl*
*D'nel pauses for a long time when he hears that he turns away from him, then slowly turns back and takes a deep breath and lets it out* I should be angry and yell at you for not doing anything to stop him but I know he would have killed you instantly. That took courage to do even that and I apprecaite that. *As he puts his arm on KArl shoulder*
I am very sorry for what happened to your family and village D'nel and i hope some day you can forgive me for not trying to help them? *said Karl*
Your trying to help them would have just gotten you killed and then where would they be without their leader. Huh?*AS he points out to the rest of the troop* Maybe theres a reason we are here together. Some greater purpose. I truly now feel that it is perhaps our destiny to free the golden furred dragon and our meeting may not be by chance. I can finally can see that the evil king's days are numbered.*As he smile broadly to Karl and roughs up his shoulder Laughing*
*Karl playfully pinches D'nel's neck and gives him a playful punch to the shoulder then put a finger to his lips and points down to the sleeping forest dragon in the bed with them*
*Laughs lightly* Your right. He needs his rest. We need him at full strenght before we leave here. So what do you have in mind to do next while hes resting?
Not much we can do but get some sleep because i am tired as well D'nel just like our big friend here. *said Karl*
Yea, its been one heck of a day. *as he yawns* The images of those griffins attacking sure are going to stick with me for a while. I have never seen creature like them before. *as he yawns and gets undressed down to his shorts and layes next to Kran* He does have soft skin doesn't he.
*Karl smiles and lays down to close his eyes for some sleep as the guards out side the tent keep watch for trouble from the evil king*
*D'nel snuggles closer to Kran, exhausted, he quickly falls asleep*
*The next morning Karl wakes up to look at Kran still asleep in bed with them, then gently rubs the forest dragon's neck and shoulder then gets dress to walk out side for some morning air, as the guards nod to him that it was a quiet night last night*
*D'nel wakes as he hears Karl get up, he watches him with one eye as he gets dressed and leaves the tent. He decides to get up and join him outside. He looks at Kran and rubs him shoulder then steps outside. He seees KArl and walks over to him* So anything happen during the night?
Not one thing it was a quiet night last night D'nel. *said Karl*
*Back inside the tent Kran's body breaks out in a sweat as the heat builds in his body to cause him to moan in discomfort from the heat, as the poison is burned from the forest dragon's body*
*D'nel turns with a start as he hears Kran moan* Karl, Its Kran. Hes in trouble. *as he quickly runs into the tent with his dagger drawn and looks around for a possible attacker*
*Karl runs over to Karn to find that his body is sweating badly and knows what to do for the forest dragon* we need to cool him down D'nel or he will die from the heat.
Cool him down? *he runs over next to Kran and puts his hand on him* Your right, hes burning up. WHat do you want me to do?*looking very concerned*
We have to get him to the lake so the water there will cool his body off, GUARDS get in here now. Karl cried as the guards from both ends of the tent come in to see what the problem is, and see the forest dragon weating heavily* i want you to get all the men together to move Kran to the lake to help cool him down. *Karl sald as one guard nods andgoes to get the men together to help carry the forest dragon to the lake*
*D'nel quickly grabs his bow and grabs Krans arm and shoulder and helps them carry the forest dragon to the lake. HE walks into the water with the guards and helps lower him into the water. As he carefully looks around the lake for soliders.* OK what do we need to do next Karl?
We keep him safe until Kran's fever breaks and hope he pulls through. *said Karl*
I am confused Karl, I thought when we drained his blood of the poison that we would be cured? What happened to him? Did he get poisoned again? *as he movers water over his body*
No D'nel it is a reaction to the poison that causes his body to heat up to near fatal levels, and we almost lost him one time before. *said Karl*
Thats good to know. I was worried for a minute. I will remember to get plently of water for him if this happens again.*as he continues to wash water over him*
*Karl helps with the water as he to starts to pour it on Karn's body to help cool the forest dragon down*
*As he keeps a close eye around the lake as he starts to feel Krans body temperature drop.*How long will it take for the fever to break, Karl?
Not long D'nel so relax and and eye out for trouble ok. *said Karl*
OK *As D'nel takes a deep breath and stands up and looks around. *Looks pretty quiet right now. *As he looks down* Hes going to be OK, right?
*Karl nods and continues to pour water on Kran's body to cool him down more and more, as the other men keep watch with D'nel*
I have an uneasy feeling. I am going to walk around the shore a little.*as he looks at the guards.* Keep your guard up. We want to be extra alert.*as D'nel brings around his bow and walks out of the water and looks around*
*They nod and continue to guard the forest dragon in the water then Kran snaps awake and growls that trouble is coming as the forest dragon looks at the forest around the lake, then lifts his clawed hands at the trees in front of them to send energy balls at the enemy there as cries of pain are heard*
Whhhooo.*As D'nel covers his face from the blast as D'nel draws up a bow and runs towards the screams. He looks around at the distruction caused by the blast and the men killed by the blast* Amazing. *AS he continues to look around for any others*
*One of the guards from the evil king was still alive but burned badly as he grabs his dagger and tries to throw it at Karl to hit him in the chest, but only hits Karl in the thigh to cause him to cry out in pain*
Damn you *as he quickly releases the bow string and the arrow pierces his heart and the guard dies quickly. He quickly looks around for any more then runs back to KArl* Karl, I am sorry. I was too slow. Let s get you out of the water*AS he drags Karl out of the water as he looks at the wound.* Its not a fatal wound. Hold still and I will pull the dagger out.
*Karl nods and winces from the dagger being pulled out of his thigh, as Kran looks at the wound then at the blade to see and odd color on the metal then sniffs it to pick up the scent of poison, and puts pressure on the area above the wound to keep the poison from going up into the body*
What is it Karl? Was the blade poisoned?*as he quickly takes off some clothing and wraps it around his leg and pulls it tight around his leg.* THere that will stop the poison from moving into your body.* As he looks art Kran* You awake. Quick Karls been poisoned. I need your help.
I will take the poison from his body and we need to hurry D'nel. *said Kran*
OK Kran, tell me what we need to do?
*Kran touches Karl's thigh with his clawed hand then it starts to glow as the poison is taken from Karl, as he starts to cry out in pain from the poison taken from him*
*As he holds onto Karl to stop him from struggling* Amazing. *As he watches Krans hand glow.* Your taking the poison out of him aren't you
*Kran nods as he concentrates on getting all the poison out of his friend's body as the last is removed, the forest dragon stops and takes his clawed hand from Karl's thigh* there you are clean of the poison Karl, and sorry for the pain of helpping you. *said Kran*
Its alright Kran i know you were helpping me to get the poison out of my body. *said Karl*
*As he stares in amazment as he releases Karl.* Amazing. *as he shakes his head looking at the wound releasing the cloth fromaround his leg.*How are you feeling Karl?
A little sore D'nel and i guess it is better then being dead thanks to Kran here. *said Karl*
*Laughs* Yea I can't argue with that *as he rubs is head mussing up his hair as he looks at Kran.* I am sure am glad you are on our side. After seeing your powers. I am starting to see why the king is nervous. If this golden furred dragon is as big as the stories say he is, his powers must be incredible.
Yeah but he was impoisoned for a very long time and i can bet on how lonely the golden furred dragon is feeling right now in that place. *said Kran*
Hummm, I never thought it that way.*as he shakes his head* Yea, it must be terrible. THis just helps to strenghten my resolve to free him. I assure you Kran as long as life flows from this body, I will continue to fight to free him*As he walks over to Kran and hugs him warmly*
*Kran smiles and hugs back and purrrrrrrrs softly to D'nel*
Hummm, very nice. *as he looks around* I don't see any other soliders Kran. Do you see any?
*Kran looks around and finds that they are in a lot of trouble that the evil king's guards have all escape areas covered and start to close in on them* we can't escape this time they have us D'nel and Karl. *said Kran*
*Not as long as I am alive!!*as he quickly grabs his bow and takes two arrows and drops to his knee and hits the two closest guards in the chest and they drop dead. He takes off running at the guards.*AHHHHHH.* As releases two more bows and two other guards fall.* Get up and fight. Fight for your freedom!!. You don't want me to have all the fun, Do you?. *as he draws up another ready to attack more guards.
The king wants them alive. *said the captain as one guard fires and arrow into D'nel's right thigh to bring him down to the ground only wounded*
Arrrgggg!!!*as he falls to the ground. He tries to get up but he falls back to the ground.* Coward. You won this fight but the battle is far from over.*as he drops his bow to the ground*
*Kran and the others give up as the evil king's guard tie their hands behind their backs, as the forest dragon walks over to D'nel and sends a thought to him to not worry, as Kran had a plan to deal with this and he will spring it on the guard very soon, and for D'nel not to talk yet*
*D'nel looks at Kran and lightly shakes his head that he understands and then looks carefully where the kings guards are so when he gets free he knows exactly where to aim his arrows when he gets free*
*They walk back to the castle to the throne room were the evil king is waiting to hear from his spy that he sent to their camp site to see if Jack can kill the forest dragon with them*
*D'nel looks at the king coldly. As he limps into the throne room.l* So you are that eviil king I have heard so much about.*as he scoffs at him*
I could put you lot to death for that D'nel so don't push me. *said the evil king*
*He stands their defiantly.* So you know my name do you? Well thats good. I was counting on that saves on the long introductions.
*Kran sends a thought to his friends to get ready for some fun as the forest dragon looks right at the evil king and waves his clawed hand to put a tight hold on his body, so it feels like a giant snake has wraped around him as the evil king cries out in fear and surprise*
Don't move any one or your king will be crushed to death and don't try to kill me because i am the only one controling the pressure on his body and if i die he dies as well! *said Kran*
Yes*as D'nel smiles broadly* Squeeze him Kran. *AS he looks at the guard next to him.* You had better listen to him RELEASE OUR HANDS NOW OR YOUR KING WILL BE CRUSHED TO DEATH. EVERYONES HANDS *He yells loudly. As he turns his back to the guard. Holding up his hands*
*The guard does as told and cuts the bonds of Karl's friends as one of the other guards deals with the arrow wound in D'nel's thigh, as he glares at Kran for holding the evil king in his throne hostage*
Aaargg.*As he bites his lip as the arrow is pulled out of his leg and wrap it up.* My Bow, NOW !*As he takes the bow and draws up an arrow and aims it at the guards.* All of you drop your weapons, NOW and move to the cornor of the room*As the rest of the group is untied and they move all the guards together. * OK Kran , we got the guards under control in here. What next? *as he keep a close watch for any other guards*

*D'nel walks into the room, he sees several locked wooden doors. As he starts to walk toward them. He senses a presence. HE turn to see what it is, just as he does, it leaps at him. He is shocked as he sees a huge Griffon leap at him. He manages to leap to the side but not before the griffonknocks him to the ground knocking the torch out of hishand. He leap up and brings up his bow as he watches the griffon attack again. This time the griffon leaps and pins him against the wall. He screams out in pain. He manages to get his bow in front of him as the griffons sharp beak grabs ahold of the bow. As they struggle against the wall* Let me go damn you.
*As D'nel struggles with the griffon, he notices the gem glow brighter. He remember what Kran said about the gem glowing in the presense of goodness. He is rather confused by the bow's reaction to the griffon. As he does the griffon rips the bow out of his hands. And glares angerly at him.

The evil king is gone. I was looking for any prisoners who may still be in his dungeon. I came to set them free. The battles over. The golden furred dragon is free.

*Just then KArl and several soilders burst into the room with bows drawn. D'nel steps in front of the griffon.* Stop. Do not kill him. He was held here against his will too. We will not kill him* AS he looks at the griffon* Just tell me where the keys are for those cells and you are free to go.
*Kran hugs Teiran close to his cool body and falls asleep as the golden furred dragon holds the forest dragon close to his body as they sleep together in the room*
*As the griffon points to the keys on the wall. D'nel smiles broadly and looks at the Griffon * You are indeed a nobel creature. I could use your services here at the castle if you choose.
I will think on it, but for now I need to find the other ones of my kind and tell them the news. I may return some day. *Griffon said as he smiles and swiftly leaves out the corridor.
*As D'nel walks over and opens the cell doors. He finds that its the people of his village who were locked in there. The people rush out and give him hugs and kisses as he breaks down as tears flow from his eyes *I thought you were all dead*. The leader of the village comes up to him and shakes his hand.
If you had not rescued us, we surely would have. The king was never going to let us go. Thank D'nel for rescuing us. *the elder said*
*As the rest of the Karls men come over and help the people upstairs*

Lets go to the celebration you big handsome dragon. *said Teiran as the two of them walk to the party that freedom will last for a very long time with the evil king gone for good*
